Easy access to the beach. Right down the beach from Margaritaville. The room was nice and spacious with a porch that looked right at the sea. The decor and fixtures were a little dated but acceptable especially for the price. The breakfast was good with quick service. I’ll definitely be back
3rd time there this year-as always, most pleasant restaurant and bar staff who treat us like family each stay! Always remembering us. Security made sure we were not hassled on the beach. Food is fantastic at the restaurant too!!! Great little pool and adorable cottages! From check in, the groundskeeper, bartenders, housekeeping to the security-all lovely!
Great place to stay! Good value for money!
Nice-sized rooms, superb location, friendly staff.
Good overall but the manager lady was rude, the other staff made up for it though.
I like the rustic feel of the place.
The bartenders were great! And food always on point!
Is ok good location
Comfortable bed right on the beach
Everything was great.. only thing I would say I had any issue with at all was the beds were a little too hard/firm to sleep on.. other than that we had a fantastic time and it was an awesome little property to stay in!
I loved my stay at Country Country. It feels like a home away from home. Easy check in and the staff was pleasant. Rooms were cleaned daily. Great location on the beach. Of all the properties I've stayed at, this was one of the best by far. I was very comfortable, its in a prime location. The beachfront was cleas n the location where the beach chairs are were clean n cozy with umbrellas. Security is on site. The pool is beautiful and clean. The food was very good. Breakfast has many options and is a great portion. Other menu options are great and reasonably priced. I had a wonderful time and would stay at this resort every time.
Great quaint little place
Convenient, central location. Quiet vibe. Very cute buildings. Full breakfast is included, which I loved. Rooms are really well done and authentic looking, but there are no screens on the windows, so you can't open them unless mosquitos don't bother you. The food was fine. Overall, I liked it. Recommended for the modest price and being right on 7 Mile Beach.
Second time there, still love it, there area fewthinhs that needs to be upgraded, but overall comfortable, relaxing, beautiful space
Loved the staff. Very friendly, efficient, professional and welcoming. The grounds and beach area are immaculate. The rustic look is unique and delightful. However, the property itself would do well with a long overdue massive upgrade & refurbishing. This is not quality product to offer to any tourist whether local or from overseas. The tourism product in Negril would do well with a massive overhaul.
The best thing about this property is the beach- Negril 7 mile beach is just amazing. The windows in the room did not have screens so they could never be opened because of the mosquitos.so rooms were dark and dreary. Staff were very friendly and helpful.. this place was a bit too rustic and old for us..
The cabins, the gardens, the beach, safety, staff and service.
Good food, pleasant helpful staff but the best this is being so close to one of the worlds Most beautiful beaches. At times whilst swimming you can actually see stingrays pass right by - within touching distance,. Amazing!!
Great, laid back property right on 7 mile beach. The housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage team are great. I only wish they would put some screens over the wooden shudders to allow light in without mosquitoes.
Right on the beach and this place is beautiful. The rooms were very clean. The cleaning and grounds staff were very friendly. Beautiful beach and delicious food. Set clean and well-kept grounds. The rest of the service staff needs some work. Incorrect orders, very slow (even by Caribbean time standards), EVERYTHING was an excessive wait with them and even then often orders were wrong and missing (another wait), slight attitude at times. CAMILLE was a standout - consistently excellent. She should be training the rest of the service staff. This is the only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars.
Everything was good the beach is what I go for and it was amazing food was good like the steamed fish and the fish tacos
Lovely location! Staff couldn’t be bothered with guests. Poor customer service.
Cool and natural vibrations
Nice beachside cottages with friendly staff. Lots of mosquitoes so bring bug spray.
Food and room not the greatest. But tou get what you paid for
Great location. Great food and drinks. And lovely property. Close to everything you need in walking distance.
Rooms were clean...food was good....on the beach.
Stay was good. Rooms slow to be ready Clean
Loved the look of Country Country very cozy, colorful, well maintained gardens and beach. The location on the beach is perfect. Plenty of chairs located in and out of the sun under plam trees. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our beachfront room with a large balcony was awesome, but most of the rooms are in a garden setting with very easy access to the beach. The included breakfast was OK.
Absolutely loved this private resort.
Its my second time and wont be the last. That should sum up i liked it there. What I dont like the property could put mosquito nets on the window. That could help alot. And the phones in rooms dont work. So that could be sorted. Because using whatsapp to call front desk wont work. Because no one picks up message or calls Because they are busy working. Not the staff fault. Management need to sort that. I loved country country rustic feeling.
The place is quite rustic. Unfortunately it was too rustic for me. Maybe it's because it has a lot of bushes surrounding it. The rooms were okay but you couldn't open the windows because of they didn't have screens on them so bugs would get in. I enjoy the food and the beach area.
Love ❤️ country country it’s been a fave for over 20 years. Great coffee and breakfast. Close to lots of food and entertainment choices. Love the beach location on the 7mile beach.
Second time staying with Country Country. Adorable property. Went for beach towels each morning and none available multiple times. Needed to return for fresh towels. Told they do not guarantee a specific room in the same sentence as the manager told me it was guaranteed to another arrival. Overall hotel is wonderful. All staff was kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
Very cute. Friendly staff. Very good food and drinks. Noise from Margaritaville was annoying during the day and even worse on Friday nights.
Yes, I would go back over and over. Excellent staff service. Property is charming, clean, convenient to market shopping.
The stay was great. I like that the beach is right there. Only concern was the mosquitos. Wish they had screens on the windows so we can have fresh air. The food was good especially the lobster. I would definitely stay here again.
The property was great. 2 nights we were unable to sleep because of local parties
We just had the best time at Country Country. Love the location with your cabin nestled in the garden. Great privacy. The access to the beach is awesome. It was so cool watching the sunset there each night. The restaurant is incredible. Loved the food. So fresh and tasty. We were so well taken care of by Lee, Londel, Camille, Reneka and Supi. They made us feel so special. This was our first stay at Country Country but I think we have found our spot now in Negril. Can’t wait to go back. Anne & Dan Roberts
Everything was great
This place is the perfect spot to kick back, relax and plug out! Everything felt easy and the staff were very friendly!
THIS WAS MY 3TH TIME STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY
I love Country Country! Safe, clean, friendly staff and the free breakfast is good. They did not miss with the Jamaican country style cottages. It literally looks like a little neighborhood. The beach is well kept with umbrellas and loungers. The security is top notch. You could go home and come back and your belongings will be in the spot you left them. This place is awesome! I will be returning in the future for my 3rd stay.
Loved this property and the staff. Will come back!!
Love our stay at Country Country. It was very comfortable, clean snd charming. We felt safe with the security detail, the staff were lovely. The location is convenient with some great alternative dining spots close by and a pharmacy and grocery store across the street. The only downside is our room was right behind the kitchen which starts making noise at 6:45 or 7 am so we didn’t get to sleep in on our holiday:( we asked to move but the option was a downgrade so we stayed put. Other than that, the property is excellent value and I’d stay again.
My stay at Country Country was absolutely amazing! The villa room was cozy, charming, and beautifully maintained — it truly felt like a home away from home. One of the best parts was that it’s just a short walk to the beach, which is stunning with its clear waters and peaceful vibe. The surroundings were perfect for relaxing and soaking in the natural beauty of Jamaica. And let me not forget the food — it was unbelievably good! Every meal was flavorful and fresh, a real highlight of the trip. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with authentic Jamaican charm.I will be coming back. One love 🇯🇲
Amazing trip. Second time here and I loved it even more. Great experience
Bath and beach towels were raggedy and most definitely need to be replaced. There was also mold on the ceiling of our shower in room 513. Other than that our stay was good. Really enjoyed breakfast options, the lovely beach, and the central location of this resort.
The most beautiful beach in the Caribbean
It’s always a pleasant experience at Country Country. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing experience, surrounded by nature, a few footsteps from the beach, and shopping, this would be ideal for you. Staff is courteous and helpful.
We really enjoyed Country Country. When walking to the restaurant or the beach (just steps away) you felt like you were in a jungle. We absolutely loved the private porch and appreciated the indoor couch and chair to relax in. It felt secure. The bathroom was a little more worn and our safe didn’t have a lock on it. Our housekeeper, Nordia was spectacular and very thorough, as were the groundskeepers. Tavia at the restaurant was a lot of fun and we looked forward to returning often. The facility was a little older but had some charm, and was in an excellent location.
excellent hotel, clean , great service, good food. Amazing beach!
We had the most amazing week at Country Country. The staff, property, and beach were amazing. It was a little slice of paradise. The beach was beautiful… no rocks…. Just beautiful. We walked every day up and down the beach. The breakfast was delicious and included every morning. The staff learned your name and were so nice every day!! Great little bar …. Can’t say enough about this sweet little resort in Negril. Jamaica & Country Country has stolen our hearts!!! We will be back!!! Highly Recommend!!
I loved that it was on the beautiful 7 mile beach It was very clean, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful I loved the laid back vibe I will go back for sure
We had a wonderful stay at Country Country. It's super charming and comfortable and on a beautiful part of the beach. It's relaxing, friendly, and low-key.
Staff and room were great! Location was perfect. Loved the palm tree shaded beach! Food at the restaurant needs some work. I noticed many guests eating elsewhere - except for the free breakfast. I greatly enjoyed my stay!
Simply paradise
I loved all the plants and greenery around, very rustic. It was also one of few beaches with palms for shade. Just a very warm setting. Staff were friendly and food was good. Only issue was the closeness to Margaritaville so the noise from music could be heard when trying to sleep at night. Not overbearing but if u have difficulty sleeping it could keep u awake. Overall 4 stars
Country Country is a great place to stay. The staff are great people; warm and friendly and the place is beautiful.
Love Negril and loved Country Country! Will be back!
Awesome!
This property was absolutely adorable! The grounds, the rooms, beach area, bar! All of it! And the staff - front to back was incredible!
Lovely place
Very friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing!
Very cozy with excellent location and good (free) breakfast.
This was the cutest, quietest place. It was a great relaxing time. As we were only there a short time we will return and will be bringing our family!
The location was excellent. We had easy access to the beautiful beach, and we could walk up and down the beach to access numerous restaurants. The restaurant and bar at Country Country were also quite nice, especially the free breakfasts. The beach was not crowded, and security guards made their rounds throughout the day. The noise from nearby Margaritaville was extremely loud on Friday night, but we didn't notice it during the week. My only complaint about the resort was that the bathroom towels were not at all soft, even though the beach towels were, so they were unpleasant on sunburnt skin!
I thought the grounds and cottages were charming. There seemed to be an interesting mix of people staying there. The staff was wonderful and always kind. Although I tried to tune out the band from the Margaritaville Hotel next to us and the annoying beach promoters, it was intrusive! It's a shame that there is no law to bar such lound music on the beach. I will not return.
Country Country is a lovely, small resort - so much more charming than most of the places I passed on the beach. And the staff are really friendly and eager to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. Special shout out to Deirdre-Ann who worked hard to accommodate my need for a room closer to the beach and Monique who went out of her way to help me extend my stay. It would be great if there were screens on at least some of the windows in each room/suite so that in the daytime you can have some light in your room, without fearing mosquitos. As it is, there are just shutters. This would be more of a problem in heavy mosquito season. They do have mosquito nets for the beds if you ask, however. It's important to note that this is a party beach - which perhaps I should have known, but didn't see mentioned in any of the reviews...and that Margaritaville, which is just a few hundred yards down the beach has loud music playing, not just on Friday nights into the early hours (which I was advised about prior to my arrival) but every day from late morning onwards. I wished I could have picked up the resort and moved it further north or south on the beach! This didn't bother most people I talked with, so unless you are looking for peace and quiet, this place is really lovely. One note: the trip to the airport (Montego Bay) is about 2 hours and not the 90 minutes stated on the website.
We stayed for 3 nights and LOVED our family stay at Country Country. The property is paradise and the beach is unforgettable. Food and drinks were consistently great and priced reasonably. The whole resort is overflowing with Jamaican charm, from the brightly painted cottages to the friendly staff. We would definitely come back, but there are some things that could be improved. Our refrigerator did not work at all and was not repaired when we told the front desk about it. The coffee maker took a frustrating 30 minutes to brew just two mugs of coffee; it's clearly an older, inexpensive model that needs replacing. Lastly, neither of our rooms, which were located in separate cottages, had reliable Wi-Fi. It seems they rely on a residential Starlink system, and the range of the extenders is simply not sufficient for the size of the resort. A mesh Wi-Fi system or additional access points would significantly improve the guest experience. Lastly, it's not within the property's control, but Margaritaville is quite close and plays their music really loudly, especially on the beach during the afternoon. It wouldn't prevent us from returning, but it is helpful to know ahead of time. On the positive side, there are other resorts very close that have great food & drinks, especially Miss Lily's at Skylark. The resort faces the West, so the sunsets and beach walks are incredible. The location is ideal overall and you can get away without a rental car. Country Country was an incredible re
Beautiful property, quaint and cosey, friendly staff. The free breakfast is wonderful and very tasty. My only caveat would be for the resort to bees special requests upon booking such as a request for twin beds which was not observed.
The staff is incredible. The property is very clean. Security is excellent.
This was our 5th stay at Country Country and it did not disappoint! Always a warm “Welcome Home!” Upon arrival with fast check in and help to our room with our bags. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, bathroom was clean and we always had hot water for our showers. Air conditioning works well and kept us cool for sleeping at night or naps in the afternoon. Housekeeping staff is amazing! There is always plenty of chairs on the beach and we were there when the hotel was sold out. Restaurant and bar staff is top notch! Super friendly and kind, with prompt service! I really can’t stress enough how awesome the staff is on this property! The menu at the restaurant has some nice choices and every time we ate there the food was very good! Plenty of other eating choices within walking distance or use the taxi guys available to eat on the west end! Taxi’s provided are about $10 less for a round trip to the west end than the others available on the road and very friendly and safe drivers! The property itself is quiet but there is nothing you can do about noise from parties in the area at other properties! So, bring ear plugs in the event that Margaritaville, Vickitini or Chances has an event, they will be pumping till 3am! We consider that normal for our stays anywhere in Negril! We stayed 2 weeks and really had the most awesome time there, really can’t say enough great things about Country Country! Can’t wait to come back!
The location is great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The property is well maintained and clean. Food options (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) on property were very convenient and very good. Various other food options are nearby, as well as a small grocery store and a pharmacy are across the street. The cottage style rooms are wonderful. You can sit out on the porch after a day at the beach and continue relaxing. Highly recommended Country Country.
Great location, wonderful employees, total relaxation!
Pros: excellent location, great food at the restaurant, excellent service, lots of beach chairs/umbrellas/floaties, clean surroundings. Cons: unstable wifi in room (room 542), no soundproofing in room (noise from staff in the early mornings and from Margaritaville on Friday night), exterior paint could use some touchups, front gate needs fixing. Would recommend and plan to stay again.
The housekeepers were right on top of a spill on our bedspread before we even reported it- a clean one appeared after breakfast! The beach and grounds are immaculately kept. The food is delicious, and the free breakfast onsite is welcome. Security on the beach made us feel safe. The beachside dinner and bonfire was an unexpected bonus! We will return.
Breakfast was great. Loved the stay. The only disappointment was the jerk chicken.
If you like it don't tell anyone..... Lovely cottage style accommodations. Excellent place to stay great beach frontage. Can't wait to go back
Great place, great people, great value!
This property is well taken care of. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Dinner specials were the same most nights.
This was my first stay at Country Country and I loved the vibe. I've been coming to Jamaica for about 35 years and I enjoy staying at different hotels. This place was a pure joy to my soul. It was pretty, serene, and quiet. I felt safe the beds were comfortable and the staff was warm and friendly. I would love to stay there again. Breakfast included was also a plus. 😎
We stayed here one night because we arrived a day eaier than expected due to an incoming snow storm. We were pleasantly surprised and fell in love with the country setting and clean cottages. The beach is literally the best beach in Jamaica and the sunsets are amazing. The water is calm and crystal clear with hues of blue. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfasr was delicious and came with a smile Taneisha at the front desk was exceptional and provided us with good information about the property. After our initial booking at an All Inclusive we came back for an additional night. We have already booked again. It is such a calming and relaxing environment.
Amazing
Front desk staff was unfriendly, bordering on rude at check in. Bar staff was uninterested and unfriendly during whole stay and seemed only marginally trained on their POS system. Serv and cleaning staff, on the other hand, were friendly throughout. On our last day, a person in civilian, business clothes was milling about and checking the POS and computers - management I presumed - and the attitude of the up until then unfriendly staff changed miraculously. On the guest-side: By 9am most beach chairs were reserved 'German style' with draped towels, some blocking three chairs for two people. Same chairs remained empty until after lunch time and often well into the afternoon. I would recommend a policy against blocking chairs. Maybe enable reserved chairs for an upcharge.
We had a wonderful time at Country Country! This cute little cottage hotel is in a perfect location. The beach is amazing, the water is calm. Food and drinks are very good, and you can walk along the beach to many other restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay, and we have already booked another trip in the fall! Wonderful time. Simple, not fancy and very laid back.
People are amazing and the bungalows are so close to the most beautiful beach!
Excellent
The country cottage vibe was nice , it felt private and secluded with the beach only 1 min away . Very cool !
Great place to relax and enjoy Negril. I would stay here again, no question.
wonderful place to stay
Great staff. Clean property beautiful beach. Walking distance to everything else you may need .
Quality
Our first trip to Negril and Country Country was a lovely place to be! The different cabanas were nice and the staff were nicer! The beach was gorgeous and you are close enough for excursions and to meet the locals.
Relaxing
The staff went out of their way to make my husband's birthday and Christmas trip a fun and memorable one! Everyone went above and beyond from Sherique & Monique at the front desk who were always accommodating and helpful, Lee who walked us to our room and checked on us, Super who took care of our room, Camille, Peta Gaye, Tavia, Reneka, and Gary at the restaurant and bar who served us delicious food and drinks daily with good music, beautiful views, and good vibes all around. Can't forget TJ in security who went above and beyond to make us feel safe. The location on Seven mile beach is PERFECT with the exception of being two doors down from Margaritaville where you can expect a late and loud Friday night ladies night party which isn't good if you like to go to bed early. Speaking of bed, the beds were clean but honestly not too comfortable. That's the one improvement that is needed in the rooms. Overall, we had a great time and met some new friends as well as old, and I thank everyone. We will be back with our family soon!
Spacious room. Friendly staff. Jamaican breakfast available
Thank you!!!! to all country country staff for an amazing stay as usual.
This our favorite location and resort on 7 Mile Beach in Negril. Small resort with comfortable accommodations and friendly attentive staff that n the best section of beach. We will return next year!
Staff ,food, safety, rooms and very informative well be back thanks
