1.las ventanas no son selladas, tiene rendijas en el baño y en el cuarto suficientemente grandes que se ve de afuera para dentro y eso fue incómodo 2. Durante la noche se fue la luz y pasamos mucho calor 3. El sabor de la comida puede ser mucho mejor

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026La habitación es enorme, el baño es un lujo, la pileta es una locura, todo es hermoso, rodeado de vegetación, escuchas pájaros cantar y miles de animales e insectos. El mar y el rio estan muy cerca y son playas privadas, no hay nadie, hermoso paisaje
El mar es muy picado y no te podes meter mas que los pies y el rio tampoco te podes meter porque hay caimanes, que si tenes suerte podes verlos, yo vi uno, son hermosos!

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Es war richtig toll, der Pool war schön, zum Strand war es nicht weit und uns wurde bei jeder Frage geholfen, auch wenn viele des Personals kein Englisch sprechen.
Lediglich dass man im Strand nicht baden soll ist schade, man kann aber surfen und mit den Füßen rein ist auch kein Problem.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Everyone at the hotel — from reception to the waiters, cleaners, and gardeners — was not only welcoming but also very helpful, which made us feel right at home. The restaurant food was great; a little on the pricier side, but definitely worth it for the quality. The location is fantastic, practically right next to the trees. During our stay we even spotted a toucan, a parrot, a squirrel, and other rare birds in the early morning.

Fünf kolumbianische Touristen hörten den ganzen Tag ihre eigen mitgebrachte Musik. Das ganze Hotelpersonal ist abends ab 9 pm weg und die Kolumbianer festeten weiter. In einem solchen Hotel erwarte ich abends eine Mindestbesatzung ( eine Person)

Reviewed Dec 20, 2025The pool and surroundings are amazing. It's a little green paradise close to Tayrona Park. The river sunsets (Caimans included) are spectacular! The food is good; a la carte breakfast and a surprisingly diverse dinner menu with vegetarian options as well. It's really impressive what they are able to do in this small kitchen! I appreciated that they did not play music in the pool area, allowing you to listen to the birds chirping or your own music/podcasts. The atmosphere is very laid back.
For the price (100€/night for one person), I expected a higher standard or at least more transparency upfront. Examples: - There are no real windows, just shutters with huge gaps between their frame and the walls. As the hotel staff leaves the premises after 8pm (when the restaurant closes), I felt pretty unsafe as it would have been incredibly easy to enter the room with little force. - When I informed the hotel that the hot water in my room wasn't working, I was told that the hotel didn't have warm water (contrary to some reviews on here). - When I arrived, I was informed that the internet wouldn't work in my room that day. It didn't work the entire week I was there. (It did work in the pool/restaurant area.) Pictures fell out of their frames, lights came out the (stained) ceiling - small details but at this price point worth mentioning. The staff is friendly but very inattentive and mostly has their backs turned towards guests. Expect to have to walk up to someone to order a drink by the pool, get a menu or more pool towels.

Reviewed Nov 15, 2025Me encantó. Es un lugar mágico, en medio de la selva. El hotel es muy lindo y los espacios comunes son muy cómodos. Me encantó el área de la piscina. El restaurante es excelente y ofrece buenas opciones vegetarianas. También tienen masajes a muy buenos precios. Es un lugar ideal para desconectar y descansar. No hay wifi en las habitaciones, solo en las zonas compartidas, donde funciona muy bien. El personal es súper amable y hace todo lo posible para que te sientas cómodo. Volvería sin duda!
Mi única experiencia negativa fue que un día una pareja puso música a un volumen muy alto en las zonas comunes, lo que arruinó un poco la tranquilidad del lugar. Estaban ebrios y resultaron molestos para los demás huéspedes. Sentí que el personal no sabía muy bien cómo manejar la situación. Sería recomendable no permitir música en las áreas compartidas para evitar este tipo de situaciones.

La comida no hay mucha variedad y es un poco costosa para la calidad. Otra cosa es que no hay ningun tipo de musica, al menos para ambientar la zona de piscina, y un huesped mando a bajar el sonido del celular cuando escuchabamos musica en un tono muy moderado, está bien que quiera descansar, pero eso no tiene que perjudicar a los otros.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025El hotel es un verdadero remanso de paz. El personal es muy atento y siempre pendiente de cada detalle, lo que hace que la estancia sea aún más especial. La habitación cuenta con todas las comodidades necesarias para descansar plenamente - Se trataba de una habitación superior (Aluna). La piscina es perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno, y en general se respira mucha tranquilidad en todo el hotel. Una experiencia excelente en cuanto a comodidad, servicio y ambiente. Realmente todo fue perfecto, sin duda para repetir.
A tener en cuenta: el hotel no está dentro del Parque Tayrona. Se encuentra a 2,8 km de la entrada al PN Tayrona.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025Beautiful peaceful spot just outside Tyrona National Park. Rooms we stayed in were really comfortable, very spacious and nicely decorated. Stunning gardens and pool area and lounge dining area. It is a bit quiet, generally couples, but that’s why we chose it. It’s not ideal for young children (there were three young boys there the last day we were there and they were clearly bored and therefore a bit noisy!) Staff were super friendly and kind the manager Liliana especially looked after us. If you’re going to the park for a hike I’d recommend the taxi - it’s expensive but our driver got us to the front of the queue - queues are horrendous and we got there early. Otherwise lovely to spend relaxing time round the pool, Los Angeles beach is a short walk nearby is stunning - unfortunately no little bars. Good mix of dishes on the menu and all cooked fresh and to order.

The hotel is nicely decorated and the peace and quiet makes for a relaxing stay. Personnel was helpful and keen to make the stay memorable. Delicious food too!

Reviewed May 8, 2025It is clean, nice, the vegetion and nature us breath taking and well taken care. The few members of the crew are nice people.
There were constant problems with the elctricity, hot water, internet. The restaurant has only frozen food, although there is fresh fish every day cought by the local fishermen. Unfortunately their only buyers are the neighboring hotels. The price of the rooms are too high opposed to the other hotels that have see view. The beach is a good walk from the hotel, but it’s not for baths and is dirty even with plastics that the water brings ashore. If you have any problems as we had (terrible food poisoning), there is no one to help to call you a doctor or nurse. You are absolutely on your own. You receive no info about the neighboring beaches, etc.

Spacious and comfortable room, with all the comforts. Restaurant with good food options also for the breakfast, including vegetarian dishes. Staff is really nice, a special mention to Liliana who helped us sorting out transfers, experiences and every other needs! Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Reviewed Mar 4, 2024Its an amazing place, with an excellent vibe. Viviana y Rosario are so good with the coocking and Enyer was kind as well as Liliana (the host). When you get to the beach after a 5 minutes walk you get a maevelous view of a private beach, and on top of the rock a nice bar called Sierra, where you can enjoy an impressive sunset over the river. The breakfast was delicious and the food at Casa Origen was really good too.
The lamp on the nightstand was broken and the blankets had a hole. They could have newer towels.

The room was below the restaurant and in the chair dragging in the restaurant resounded loudly in the room, sometimes early in the morning. There was not a great variety of fish dishes in the restaurant. We could not dine in the restaurants of the surrounding hotels… not the hotel fault. Surprisingly, smoking was permitted in the restaurant.

Reviewed Nov 18, 2023Really lovely hotel. Beautiful setting near the beach but in the jungle so you have the best of both worlds. Good (albeit limited) food menu, all made fresh on request. Nice rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff
None of the hotel staff spoke any English, which wasn’t a problem, apart from the checkout experience. I’d booked a taxi to go 5 minutes up the road to my next destination as I had a heavy bag and the taxi driver was saying he couldn’t take me because I’d have the cross a river (even though I knew I didn’t have to because I’d spoken to the next place). He was so rude and even though we got the next host to call him to explain how to get there (it was super easy- just a track off the main road) he refused to drive us all the way. He also charged us 40,000 pesos (for literally 5 mins- by comparison an hours taxi from Santa Marta is 120,000). The hotel staff weren’t very helpful and were taking his side even though I knew and so it left a disappointing end to my stay.
