Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Prachtige locatie, aan de kust en riviermonding, met breathtaking uitzicht. Bijzonder de moeite waard om een dag te ontspannen, en als uitvalsbasis voor Tyrona national park. Mooie zwembaden, ligbedden in schaduw. Ruime kamers, goed bed. Goed restaurant bij het hotel.

If you look for a place wirh a/c then don't go there. It didn't work when we arrived at 4pm, the stuff explained this with the unstable electric network and promised that the a/c would work fine after 8pm, when the generator kicks in. That was true, but after midnight the a/c was gone again (not just one, but every night we spent there). For the same reasons the Wifi didn't work properly, sometimes it did, sometiems it didn't. Breakfast is a shame for such an expensive hotel: 3 toast halves, plain scrambled egg, a coffee and some fruits. No butter, no cereals, no yogurt, no ingredients to the scrambled egg...)

Struttura affacciata sul mare e sul fiume interno, dove si può ammirare un fantastico tramonto abbellito dal volo degli uccelli che frequentano la zona. Tutto perfetto, anche il cibo buono.
Niente. Suggeriamo di prevedere un mezzo di trasporto per accompagnare gli ospiti alla fermata dei bus (10 minuti a piedi potrebbero essere evitati) comunque si sono offerti di portare i bagagli facilitando il cammino.

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und das Essen auf der Terrasse einfach herrlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026This property is set in an incredible location overlooking a river mouth and the sea. We had a room overlooking the river and sea - and saw a caiman from the balcony. Room is rustic but comfortable. Lovely patio. Pools are relatively small but one of them has an incredible setting. It is possible to walk down to beach and river. Unfortunately, you cannot swim in the sea as too rough (or river due to the caimans). Massage was very good though there was little availability so it may be advisable to pre-book.
We are vegan and we found the vegan options for breakfast extremely limited - we felt quite hungry after - and they seemed unable to rectify it after we complained. For a high-end property such as this, this should be addressed (as we stayed at another property in the area afterwards, we know it is possible to do better and offer, for instance, almond milk/granola/tofu). It is difficult to leave the property certainly for dinner and so most guests dine in - they had vegan options for lunch and dinner though they were quite limited and, if we had stayed for more than two days, we would have been bored. There were no vegan desert options.

I servizi sono insufficienti, le camere sono sprovviste di telefono per contattare la reception. Di notte il Personale sparisce e si rimane abbandonati e nella impossibilità di contattare qualcuno. Di notte spesso la corrente va via abbiamo dormito senza aria condizionata in un caldo torrido e con un rumore insopportabile che non ci ha fatto dormire.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Nous avons adoré le cadre exceptionnel de cet hôtel, parfaitement intégré dans la nature de Tayrona. La chambre était magnifique, avec une vue imprenable sur la rivière et la mer des Caraïbes. La terrasse et le restaurant offrent un panorama incroyable, où il est possible d’observer des iguanes et même des crocodiles dans la rivière. Les piscines, les hamacs et les espaces de détente sont parfaits pour se relaxer. La cuisine est excellente et le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse, toujours disponible et aux petits soins. Un séjour inoubliable.
Rien concernant l’hôtel en lui-même. Il faut simplement savoir que la baignade est interdite dans la rivière en raison de la présence de crocodiles et de même dans la mer à cause des puissants courants d’arrachement. Cela relève toutefois des caractéristiques naturelles du littoral et non de l’établissement.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026This place has to be seen to be believed. The location is incredible, and the wildlife you can see whilst having your breakfast is just a dream. All the pools are clean, and the grounds are well-kept. The two beaches next to the hotel are great for relaxing, as an escape from the nearby busy Tayrona tourist beaches.
I would not recommend this hotel is you have accesability issues. Lots of steps and uneven ground.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Muy calmado el lugar, excelente para relajarse, muy buen restaurante y comida, la vista es muy bonita, puedes ver los caimanes en la naturaleza y otros animales. Excelente opción si planeas ir y volver al Tayrona, ya que son 5 minutos en bus o carro.
La conexión a WiFi es muy inestable. El desayuno es muy rico, sin embargo, anteriormente se podía pedir cualquier opción del menú sin costo adicional y ahora es más limitado a la opción “A o B” que ofrecen. La playa solo sirve para surfear (aunque esto ya lo sabía, es más una observación para quienes lo reserven pensando en nadar en la playa, eso no está permitido). Se entiende perfectamente la idea de conectar con la naturaleza, sin embargo, tener TV para distraerse en la noche sería excelente, ya que las actividades nocturnas son muy limitadas.

Reviewed May 29, 2026Disfruté muchísimo mi estadía. La ubicación es perfecta, ya que permite disfrutar tanto del mar como del río, creando un entorno muy especial y relajante. El lugar es muy tranquilo, ideal para descansar y desconectarse del ruido. Además, la atención del personal fue excelente: siempre amables, atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. Sin duda, una experiencia muy agradable que recomendaría.
La carta de vinos y licores está un poco desfasada con los precios del mercado. El servicio de restaurante comienza muy tarde y en medio de la mañana no se puede solicitar alimentos de entradas ni picadas sino hasta medio día.

Reviewed May 26, 2026En general todo fue excelente desde la ubicacion, la facilidad para pedir comida, incluso las dos piscienas disponibles y las demás areas comunes, pero para nosotros sobresalieron: La comida y la atención, el personal no solo fue maravilloso con nosotros, notamos que tienen una lata preparación!
creo que hay 2 detalles que pueden mejorar, ya que nos quedamos en la suite cielo, debo decir primero que la cama era un poco dura para mi gusto y creo que el baño debe ser revisado pues había un fuerte olor a humedad, creo que si estos dos detalles se mejoran seria una experiencia perfecta. Habiendo dicho esto, ninguno de esos dos detalles disminuye la maravillosa experiencia que es pasar tiempo aqui.

Reviewed May 17, 2026Piękna lokalizacja i widoki z tarasów, jednak w pokoju mieliśmy awarię klimatyzacji i problem z ciepłą wodą. Nie zmienia to faktu, że i tak polecamy ten hotel. Zachody słońca z tarasu przy restauracji zapierające dech w piersiach.

Reviewed May 7, 2026La experiencia en el lugar es maravilloso tener de frente el rio que se une al mar es una experiencia inolvidable, la comida es exquisita, el cafe en prensa francesa hace que la experiencia sea mejor tanto en el desayuno como al ver el atardecer, la carta del restaurante con los platos suficientes para el lugar, la comida exquisita a mencion la cazuela de mariscos y el arroz con coco lo mejor de la carta. Poder comer frente al mar haciendo parte del lugar con los animales presentes es algo indescriptible. recomendado 100%
la verdad todo me gusto el lugar supero mis expectativas

Reviewed May 5, 2026La atenciòn de todos los empleados del hotel es excelente, En el restaurante muy rica la comida, la atención es muy buena , es muy fàcil de llegar. el hotel es bellísimo, su vista maravillosa. todo me encanto ! lo recomiendo al 100%.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Struttura in posizione meravigliosa, sia per la vista tra fiume e oceano, sia per dove è situata, in mezzo alla vegetazione !!! Un posto che ti resta nel cuore. Personale gentile e disponibile. Camera spaziosa, ma essenziale.
Essendo situato fuori da un contesto urbano (occorre prendere un'auto per spostarsi), durante il nostro soggiorno di due giorni abbiamo sempre cenato nell'ottimo ristorante che propone buoni piatti, ma a mio avviso con poca scelta (specie per vegetariani).

Reviewed May 3, 2026Amazing location, amazing amenities. We stayed at the Cabana 1 and it's the most unique experience falling asleep with the waves and wind (quite loud but we loooved it). It's warm but with the wind and fand it's totally fine. Be ready for a once in a lifetime experience living at peace wit ht ocean and the jungle :)

Reviewed May 1, 2026The views from the hotels are amazing, the two pools are very welcome to relax after a day of hiking, the room was clean and spacious, food was pretty good
For a so-called « luxury » hotel, we haven’t felt so welcome there. Also AC in the room wasn’t working so well. Finally, I would recommend verifying all the prices for Tayrona in advance, because it wasn’t clear with the driver of the shuttle.
