I had a very good time, everything was really nice and satisfied my expectations. Excellent location, city center in front of train station, also amazing view from my room window :) Not to forget the very polite and helpful staff. Definitely will be back if i return to Lille...

L'accueil il n'y a rien à dire. Très bon accueil, souriante. On nous a même porté notre valise dans notre chambre.

La chambre était trop petite, je ne m'attendais pas à cela. Je me suis senti oppressée. Pareil pour le lit, on aurait dit un lit d'une personne et demi :( et les oreillers trop mou j'ai du ajouter une couverture en dessous.

Rooms are very small. While location is very good, it is noisy.

Breakfast was excellent, with excellent produce often locally sourced like farm butter, yogurt and cheeses, which we loved. Really good scrambled eggs which is very unusual in a hotel. Would disagree with the poster who complained about the lack of fruit salad for their cereal (seriously - who puts fruit salad on cereal?). There was muesli with dried apricots, prunes, raisins, almonds and other nuts and seeds. The staff were really friendly and helpful so if you want a sharp knife, just ask and they'll give you one. There were no bedside tables, but there was a stool and a chair which we used as makeshift tables which worked fine for us. Hotel was conveniently placed for exploring Lille. The staff were lovely and provided us with endless milk for our tea. 3 Brasseurs immediately next door was excellent for a hearty meal and drinks. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The rooms were on the small side, and I prefer a larger room, but the positives made up for this.

Height of toilet pedestal in one room-I am 5' 2"". Kettle but no coffee tea extras. One room a bit cramped and not easy to see markings on shower tap without reading glasses.

La chambre et la salle de bain exiguë Situé à l'arrière, la vue en vis a vis et aussi une machine sorte de compresseur situé sur un toit en contrebas,qui diffuse en continu un bruit constant et assez fort...pas trop perceptible fenêtre fermé mais si on souhaite l'ouvrir est insupportable Pas de clim, juste un petit ventilateur certainement pas suffisant en cas de forte chaleur et surtout de canicule

Lovely unpretentious hotel very close to Lille Europe and Lille Flandres railway stations and within easy walking distance of the Old Town. Our room wasn't large but perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable. Importantly for us, the shower was easily accessible (once I realised the door opened inward as well as outward. The breakfast was excellent and sitting out on the terrace to enjoy it was lovely. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. It was great value for money. As a bonus, we enjoyed a meal at Les Trois Brasseurs right next to the hotel.

Dommage que le supplement pour voyager avec son chien n’ait pas été précisé sur Booking : c’est 8€/nuit (a ce prix la, ce serait chouette d’avoir une gamelle d’eau dans la chambre par exemple)

Délicieux petit déjeuner, en vaut vraiment la peine 1/2 fois pour profiter de la terrasse. Draps bien propres, super emplacement et personnel très gentil.

Mein Zimmer war ein kleines Zimmer mit Doppelbett - für 2 Personnen sehr eng. Aber ruhige Lage in einen Hinterhof. Schade, dass die Frühstücksterasse im obersten Stock nur zum Frühstück zugänglich ist. Dort ist ein toller Ausblick auf den Bahnhofsplatz

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt oder bei Schlechtwetter ist das Zimmer zu klein

La ubicación es excelente, en pleno centro de Lille y junto a la estación de tren y metro. Recomendable para cualquiera que quiera moverse por el norte de Francia y sur de Bélgica. Cama y almohadas muy cómodas.

La habitación era más pequeña de lo esperado. No hay armario pero si un lugar con estantería y percha que es perfectamente válido para una estancia corta.

A very clean and well run hotel, with friendly staff, excellent breakfast which was worth the extra euros, efficient lift and super location for city centre and rail services. It felt more like a family run place than a city centre French hotel, which can be a bit sparse on comfort. Not this one.

Bedside tables, a shelf or two in the bathroom for toiletries. Maybe bigger beds.

The hotel is located opposite Lille Flandres station and an easy walk to Lille Europe for Eurostar, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly and helpful and communicated well before our arrival. The room had a fantastic view of Flandres station and was clean and comfortable. A very good, varied breakfast was served on the top floor, with an outside terrace overlooking the station. Fantastic spot if the weather is right.

The room didn't have bedside tables or shelves, so anything you wanted by your side had to go on the floor. There was no fridge/mini bar, which is fine for a 1 night stay but if you were staying longer would be useful. There were only whole oranges and apples at breakfast for fruit and no sharp knives to cut them. A fruit salad would be good for putting on cereal.

The location is absolutely fantastic. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They really could not have done more for us. The accommodation is simple but comfortable and clean. We had a twin room which was small, but all we needed for our trip. Plenty of hot water. A bit warm, but there was a fan. You are right in the heart of Lille. No end of places to eat. Metro next door.

If you leave the window open it is quite noisy. There are bars and restaurants below.

Kleine kamer, geen airco en het was 31°, 2 aparte kleine bedden pfff. Ik zei nog bij het inchecken dat het mijn verjaardag was, kreeg alleen een glimlach.

De people that work there were very sweet especially Kenny hé explained everythibg very well and was very Nice to us. And the Location was inzake perfect we where everywere in a fhew minute walk of was in the middle of the centrum so if u want to be in the center this is really the place to be!!!

The beds were very small and really hard and there were 2 Pillows that were hard and flat almost no fluf in there. And no fridge.

Great location especially if travelling by train, right next to the station. Comfortable bed, great shower. The location also means that everything is very close by, coffee shops, gift shops, restaurants, grocery stores etc.

The hotel did not have wifi available in the rooms, we did not ask the staff as we did not stay there long. Our room had a window overlooking internal services.

De kamer was prima, groot genoeg en schoon. Enige was dat het tweepersoonsbed een beetje smal was voor onze situatie: twee vriendinnen van middelbare leeftijd. Ontbijt was goed en de plek op het dakterras heel fijn. Grote pluim voor het vriendelijke personeel: niet alleen de mensen aan de receptie, maar ook het schoonmaakpersoneel was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer had geen airco, wel twee ventilatoren ter beschikking. De ligging tegenover het station was erg handig!

Location, opposite the train station. Surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Has a Lift. We had room 600 on 6th floor. Modern twin, rear of the hotel. Quiet. Conmfy beds, c I ean towels daily. Good shower, good size unless your very fat!Breakfast 7th floor, we had a table outside. Basic but fresh. No lounge area. TV in the room with BBC news. Short walk to the Grand Square. Fabulous buildings that house every kind of shop, cafes. Walked to the Canal had lunch outside. Boat €45 one hour, didn't bother. Took a walk instead.

Tolle Lage direkt gegenüber des Bahnhofs und trotzdem ruhige Zimmer zum Innenhof. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Frühstück auf der Terrasse im 7. Stock mit fantastischer Aussicht über Lille. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und es wird immer nachgelegt. Die Zimmer sind recht klein, aber sehr sauber. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich.

Not a problem for us as it wasnt too hot but in a heat wave or summer with no air conditioning it would have been hot! They supply a fan but suspect this wouldnt do anything in 30c heat

Goede douche met harde straal en een prima locatie aan het plein voor het station Lille-Flandres, om van daaruit het centrum in te lopen.

Vrij cmpacte kamer met uitzicht op binnenplaats, geen airco (wel een ventilator) en geen ruimte in het hotel om even, niet in je eigen kamer, te zitten.

Fiquei em um quarto duplo, com duas camas, de janela para a faixada do hotel. A vista é bonita. Apesar da localização ser em frente a estação Central, há um excelente isolamento acústico das janelas, e as cortinas fazem um bom isolamengto da luminosidade quando fechadas adequadamente. Não foi necessário fazer uso de transporte para os principais pontos turísticos da cidade. Equipe muito simpática e prestativa. Há diversos restaurantes na região, inclusive debaixo do hotel. Como os arredores da estação pode ser meio perigoso, assim como qualquer centro de cidade, à partir de um determinado horário o acesso ao hotel passa a ser controlado, com a checagem do nome e número do quarto pela recepção, promovendo maior segurança. Quarto limpo, toalhas e roupas de cama de qualidade.

Quarto abafado, possui 1 ventilador, porém ele não da conta em dias mais quentes, sendo necessário abrir as janelas. O banheiro também não possui um sistema de exaustão tão bom, então quando tomar banhos quentes, as janelas do quarto devem ser abertas para dissipar melhor o vapor. O quarto duplo é pequeno, com as camas muito próximas. Elevador pequeno, se o hotel estiver cheio ou estiver em grupos maiores, talvez seja melhor utilizar as escadas.

The restaurant recommendation from the receptionist wasn’t very good (the restaurant had the name Brigitte in it) but it’s not the hotel’s fault the food wasn’t very good

Rooms on the smaller side but it’s a city centre hotel so it’s what I would expect.

Het is heel schoon en goed onderhouden!Het personeel is vriendelijk en de locatie dicht bij het station en het centrum is ideaal.

Onze kamer zat aan de kant van het plein met cafés en terrassen en elke ochtend staan daar een paar uur lang heel veel vrachtwagens te loeien. Raam open was niet te doen, maar ook met raam dicht geeft dit erg veel herrie. Neem aan dat het aan de andere kant van het hotel beter is. Verder was onze kamer erg klein. Prima als je toch de hele dag buiten bent, maar omdat er ook geen echte lobby (of een andere faciliteit) in het hotel is kan je eigenlijk nergens zitten om even te lezen op.i.d.

Er hing een geur op onze verdieping. Zowel in de gang als in de kamers. Het bed was eerder klein. Zowel in breedte als lengte. We hadden een kamer voor mensen met een handicap. Dat was wel een beetje raar. Dit was ons ook niet verteld

Breakfast was very good and loved the terrace overlooking the Place du Gare. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my luggage on check out whilst I wandered round Lille.

Dat we een kamer aan de achterkant hadden en niet aan de voorkant. De voorkant was de stations kant en daar heb je meer bars en restaurants en meer herrie. Bedden waren oké, net als de badkamer. Ontbijt had ook voldoende keus. Leuk was dat het op de 7e verdieping was en dat je mooie uitzicht had. De locatie was fijn, zo op loopafstand van het centrum.

Aan de achterkant had je wat gesuis van grote ventilatieroosters buiten. Geen eigen parkeerplek. Was iets zoeken naar de openbare garage.

Great for a short stay, rooms small but adequate, staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed in rooms at the front and back of hotel no issues. Great for trains stations and bus links. Good area for restaurants and bars.

Breakfast was a little sparse but adequate, just continental but needed a bit more information in English for those of us who do not speak fluent French.
