La Valiz

Good location. Room and bathroom was mordern and clean

When I asked to make up my room they only cleaned the bed. The floor and bathroom remained dirty and they didn’t replace the towels. This happened on 2 days and I told reception who were helpful, but it shouldn’t have happened

A nice enough hotel in an old building opposite Lille Flandres station. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfy and the shower works well.

The location is great but it's not easy to find the entrance amongst all the bars and restaurants. And beware if you get a room on the first floor, there are more stairs beyond where the lift opens.

Chambre confortable Emplacement idéal

Great location. Good base to explore Lille and close to Eurostar

All good

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Good location close to the rail station and Eurostar.

If you need a place for a short stay just next to the station (Lille Flanders), this is a good choice. It's literally just across the street. Short walk to the old city and next to the Westfield shopping centre, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacies, everything you might need. Kettle in the room was a plus. Wifi connection was good. Breakfast was good, too!

Well, with this price scale you can not expect too much. It's an old building with old plumbing - the 'scent' in the bathroom was very strong. Single room is extremely small. Air-condition was a plus, but it was very noisy. When I tried to open the window, it was even more noisy, so I kept it closed. Soundproofing was not wonderful either, I could hear everything from the corridor (a guy kept yelling on his telephone and tv at the same time in a room close to mine...). But all in all, with the price a paid, I would still recommend this little hotel for a short stop-by.

Son emplacement, chambre confortable.

Location helpful staff

Inevitably given price room small

Dichtbij het station. Kamers waren oké. Ontbijt prima.

Heel erg gehorig, oordoppen mee.

On a bien aimé.

Location. Close to Eurostar and gare du Lille Flanders for further adventures. Right in the heart of Lille. Shops, cafes, restaurants all on the doorstep.

I cant think of one single thing.

Chambre de luxe au top

Amazing staff. from the receptionist to the breakfast lady, cleaners. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful Room design was nice, modern and clean. Perfect location.

Maybe the only thing , was the lift which was very narrow, it would only fit one person plus a luggage. But even that brought more charm to the property.

Very comfortable room and bedding - spacious, clean, quiet, A/C. The staff is wonderful! Two options for breakfast: buffet or express (good value). Dinner options around.

Location is great if you arrive by train. It is more complicated by car. Located along a bus-only lane. Parking may be challenging and not near the hotel.

Brilliant service.. especially the breakfast and the lady running the breakfast. Top notch service. Reception was also great.

Nothing..

La proximité mité avec les sites intéressant

Douche dans salle de bain mal conçue . Tout est mouillé après la douche . Lit très inconfortable. Trop mou j avais l impression de dormir de travers

The staff are lovely. The room was clean, comfortable, well designed and beautifully cool. Flawless

Nothing

Location is excellent, kind and helping staff.

The absence of a real door to the bathroom was not comfortable.

Koelkastje op de kamer zou top zijn

My room had a lovely view of the station but little noise for such a central location. Comfy bed and great air conditioning.

Room was a bit small

Oui

Sentral og god beliggenhet, bra kontinental frokost og store rom. Nydelig A/C!

RAS

Ontbijt was prima. Schone kamer. Lekkere douche. Uitzicht kamer was niet mooi (daken).

It was next to the train station and conveniently located with restaurants nearby.

The elevator took you up to your floor but then you still had stairs to climb to get to your room.

Climatisation appreciable. Petit dejeuner tres complet. Excellent rapport qualité /prix

L'odeur des serviettes pourrait etre améliorée.

Good location

The location, the AC were very helpful for this summer. I didn't have to walk long to reach the old city and the AC welcomed me at the end of the day

The one particular staff, woman might had a bad day and was rude even though I was respectful. The other standing with her only laughed her behavior off. Rest of the staff were super nice. Which made it a far contrast when she was at the counter. The bath towels smelled bit and looked used. The coffee cups and glasses were still dirty

Location wise is good.

The beddings did not changed every other day (every 2days). We had to requests this personally at the reception.

Given a lovely, spacious, quiet room as we had requested. Staff were very helpful, kind and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. An excellent location.

The view wasn’t wonderful but we had requested a quiet room so expected to be at the back of the hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the road outside. This did not bother us as we were out seeing Lille most of the day.

Very central only a 5 minute walk from Lille station. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Nothing to complain about.

Le personnel très sympathique et l’emplacement.

Central location

Few little things need fixing Maintenance could be better

Rien

Authentic French atmosphere, very clean, cosy breakfast, and exceptionally friendly staff.

Very little space. The shower drained poorly.
