Don Bernardo es un señor muy amable. Queda en todo el centro, las habitaciones son grandes es una casa antigua pero muy cómoda. Hay muchos pájaros que cantan toda la mañana. Me gustó mucho y lo recomiendo

Room on the third flor with a terrace. Staff was extremely kind and helpful with suggestions of restaurants and tiendas… Location is great.

We loved our stay at hotel krone. The owner is so helpful and the rooms on the top floor look out over the city. It’s a peaceful spot in the middle of the city. The owner went above and beyond by watching most of our belongings while we took a side trip for five days to Puracé and Tierradentro. He was also able to give us a ride to the airport— it’s quite close to the hotel.

Great value for money. The room was spacious and the bathroom large and clean. Great location in the historic centre, close to main plaza and lots of restaurant options. Hosts were helpful, and host kindly drove me to my bus the next day.

Noise travelled too well in the building - no street noise but other guest noise was a bit disruptive. Definitely need earplugs if you're also a light sleeper.

Great rooftop room which was clean and spacious. Comfortable sitting out area with view across the rooftops. Very friendly welcoming staff!

A home from home in Popayan! Bernardo looked after us so well, greeted us at the door morning and evening, we felt so safe. Incredible location, 2mins from Parque Caldes but on a quiet and peaceful street. Rooms were spacious and light, cleaned every day and fresh towels! Can’t recommend more highly!

Occasionally it was a little noisy in the morning.

Good location in central Popayan. Good value. Clean and comfortable. Great to stay for 1-2 nights on your way between Colombia and Equador.

Hotel was great. Popayan as a destination didn’t really live up to expectations though. Lots of traffic, kinda desolate at night and not as beautiful as advertised. Good place to rest on a trip between Ecuador and Cali for example but not somewhere i would go out of my way to visit, though it did have a lot of great restaurants!

Good location in the historic center. We booked a double room, but were given a huge room with four double beds overlooking the tile rooftops. Got to watch the sunset from the rocking chairs on the third floor balcony. Nice hot water shower with good water pressure. WIFI worked well. Good value for the price.

There's traffic noise in the historic center and the hotel has an inner courtyard (so TVs from other rooms can be heard easily). Bring ear plugs.

Spacious bright room, mine had a view over the roofs of Popayan and a balcony. Clean, good bathroom with hot water, comfy bed. Very nice owner. Good value for this price. I stayed longer than intended.

central location, its quite and good

Very friendly owner, great location, clean hotel, near restaurants/cafes/breakfast places/important sights, 15-20 min walk to and from the busstation. Nicely decorated hotel and I felt very safe at night and during the day.

It would have been even better if breakfast was offered but it is obviously not a must. It was also weird that the bathroom did not have a window that could close, but that is okay. It is necessary in order to prevent mould or any weird smells in the bathroom. It needs to air.
