Reviewed Sep 8, 2026The place was excellent and clean. Kitchen available to cook. Strong wifi. Toilet is sharing and not ensuite.wonderful view from the balcony. Walkable distance to most of thr restaurant , groceries and view points
The check in was not smooth. I had to figure out everything on my own. The host just sent some video on how to get inside the apartment which was terrible and didnot have clear instructions. The room name was missing. The entrance door to the apartment had 2 keys which was missed in the video. Wasnt very pleasant i must say.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Nos encantó el orden, aseo, comodidad, cercanía al centro histórico, la facilidad de hablar con él anfitrión y las instrucciones claras de alojamiento. Es un sitio muy acogedor, te hace sentir en casa. Cuenta con todos los utensilios de cocina para poder hacer tus comidas y/o snacks. Un entorno agradable para el trabajo remoto. La habitación estuvo muy cómoda y espaciosa, con su respectivo closet y mesa de estudio. Estuvimos muy contentos con el lugar.
La puerta del balcon de la habitación no tenía angeo mosquitero, por lo q en la noche no pudimos dejarla un poco abierta para disfrutar de la frescura del clima al dormir y entraron bastantes mosquitos.

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026Perfekte Lage über den Dächern der Altstadt. Fußläufig zum Zentralplatz (5 Min) und zum Bisbahnhof (15 Min) der Bus Nr.7 fährt vor dem Haus zum Busbahnhof. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Penthouse hell und freundlich Das Panorama ist beeindruckend. Heiße Dusche. Auch für längeren Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen! Carlos, der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit, kompetent und kommunikativ! Danke!

The kitchen is huge, with plenty of space and most utensils available. The rest of the house looks good too A washing machine is available (you need your own soap though). This is a huge plus if you travel long and need to wash your stuff Free drinking water
Small details. Many things were not working. No working oven, no working dishwasher, no working dryer The room we had (2) felt slightly smaller and not as fresh as the other two of the same category

Reviewed Dec 21, 2024Such good value for a spacious shared apartment with good security. The property was bright with views overlooking much of the historic downtown. The kitchen was more fully equipped than most. Although there was no bus transportation from the bus terminal, there are buses stops along Carrera 8 for the return. The manager was friendly and accommodating regarding our luggage storage. I would definitely return.
Although sharing a kitchen is acceptable, the description doesn't clear specify this.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2024Location in the middle of Popayán’s old town. Main churches, squares and museums nearby. Superb views at sunrise and dawn. Sunsets are spectacular. Loved it.
Popayán was unusually hot during my stay which is a rarity in a city known for its temperate yet cool climate. The room was rather hot, but manageable. Bathroom is shared and although towels are provided, guests must bring their own toiletries. Guests must be conscious in terms of turning the lights off before going to bed.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2023Very nice apartment with great views over some of the historical area of Popayan. Modern, spacious, fully equipped. My room was large. One room (the room I had) is much better than the others, so try to get the large room with the ensuite bathroom. All rooms have access to a balcony with great views. People have obviously lived there so it's fully equipped, including a washing machine, bookshelves, art work on the walls. There's a cleaning woman too.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2023Absolutely stunning apartment in the centre of Popayan, with everything you need for a short or longer term stay. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped if you would like to do some cooking. The apartment was thoroughly clean and the bathroom had consistent hot water.
The bed was quite firm, so may not be for everyone.

This apartment has a beautiful terrace around the whole apartment that provided a lovely view of the city. The host was great with perfect communication. He provided us with many good recommendations. He also arranged for us extra night in his apartment. Highly recommended!
Only downside was some hair in our room.
