Es war sauber und der Großteil des Personals war sehr freundlich.

Zimmer hatte weder Kühlschrank noch Klimaanlage, es war unerträglich heiss in der Nacht und keine Möglichkeit Medikamente zu lagern. Beim Frühstück musste man sich Rührei oder Spiegelei selbst machen, was ja grundsätzlich kein Problem wäre, wenn die Pfannen nicht eine Miniaturgröße gehabt hätten. Des weiteren waren Sie gusseisern, somit Verbrennungen an den Händen. Die junge Italienerin beim Frühstück war sehr unfreundlich.

Some decor a little tired

Nice feel about the hotel. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Breakfast was fine and breakfast staff polure and friendly.

Bathroom: If you put on the bathroom light the whole schlafzimmer is lit up very brightly. Not so good when you go yo the bathroom in the middle of the night. Also, when the floor was wet it was very slippery (in the shower and when you step out). An extra hook for haning up a handtowel would be good. Bedroom: No minibar, so we couldn't keep anything cool.

Great location - historic old town easily accessible (walkable) and a great base for visiting friends in the suburbs too. Loved our room - compact but functional and (always a bonus) windows opened for fresh air!

The location is great within walking distance to the old town.

There was no air condition in the room so it stayed very warm at night. We could not open the windows as well due to construction works nearby which started very early.

The hotel was more than expected. Clean and efficient for sure but also quirky and friendly with a lovely bar and chill area indoors and outdoors. It had the friendly feel of a hostel despite being a hotel. Excellent for a solo traveller.

Very important to know that there is no airconditioning. You are provided a fan. It is warm during the summer. The listing on the booking site stated airconditioning provided. The bed and pillows were good. The breakfast is excellent and also the location. The bathroom is very small. Might be a problem if room has two people.

Sympathiek hotel, fijn onthaal en leuke bar. Er is een terras zowel voor de bar aks het restaurant. De kamer was smaakvol ingericht, je kan er een koffie zetten, het bed was uitstekend. Dit hotel is een aanrader, op 10 min stappen van het oude centrum en het Kunsthaus. Je kan op voorhand een parkingplaats om de hoek via het hotel reserveren, aan 25Fr/dag. Doen, want op straat is het 120Fr/dag.

Geen opmerkingen, alles was prima.

The room was not check-in ready at 7 pm, although the official check-in time is at 3 pm. The staff was not experienced enough and I understood during my wait in the foyer that the hotel operator has changed several months ago, so many of the hotel reviews are supposedly from the time before.

We took by mistake a park car with us. They charged us 50 CHF without notice. I contacted 2 times the property by email and even talk on the phone with Ms “Duka” on the 15.06. Still no answer at all.

Zimmer in Schieflage, war schon betrunken bevor ich überhaupt was getrunken hatte, hätte man drauf hinweisen sollen

Boutique-Hotels haben zwar ihren Charme und sind sicherlich ein wenig teurer als Ketten. Das sollte aber nicht unbedingt heißen, Charme mit Unbequemlichkeit zu verwechseln. Bemängeln müssen wir: Toilettenpapier zu hart Zimmer lässt sich kaum verdunkeln Zu wenig Steckdosen Keine Haken im Badezimmer Duschköpfe wie aus dem vorigen Jahrhundert Winziger Fernseher und der Abstand zum Bett viel zu weit Wir wechseln das Zimmer. Das neue Zimmer ist besser, bietet aber auch kleine Überraschungen: Waschbecken im Zimmer (nicht im Bad) Bettablage bricht fast unter kleinen Gewichten ab. Duscht man steht das halbe Badezimmer unter Wasser, weil die Trennwände undicht sind, auch hier zu wenige Steckdosen, Handtuchhalter gleich abgebrochen. Die Betten sind einigermaßen bequem, Bad/Toilette haben eine Tür. Es ist auch nicht barrierefrei so wie es bei booking den Anschein macht, weder gibt es Bademantel noch Pflegeprodukte.

Zumindest war das Hotel recht ruhig, die Lage ok und die meisten Bediensteten freundlich. Eine Mitarbeiterin fand ich überheblich und ihren Kolleginnen gegenüber extrem unangenehm.

Nach dem Umbau nun ein sehr ansprechendes Entree. Die Lüftung der Küche ist im 4. Stock zum Teil gut hörbar.

Super nahe Lage (zu Fuss etwa 10 Minuten), wenn man im USZ früh für eine OP eintreten muss. Das Zimmer war im obersten Stock, so dass ich Aussicht auf den See und in die Ferne hatte.

Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, deckt aber die Grundbedürfnisse gut ab.

It took some prodding to get what I needed from staff. The fridge in my room only arrived on the second request. The coffee and tea never got refilled for some reason. But I'd stay again.

Everything was great but the parking and the noise, yet both were dealt with / not the responsibility of the hotel

I booked parking for both nights yet could not park at the given space. The staff was very understanding and I got a refund. The night was super loud as there was a party next door until 5am. Unfortunately it was reslly hot so I had to keep my window open as there is no proper AC. This is not the fault of the hotel though.

In erster Linie die Lage, welche im belebten Univiertel unter vielen jungen Menschen liegt. In wirklich wenigen Minuten ist man in der sehr schönen Altstadt! Was wir nicht wussten ist, dass es Hanglage hat. Damit war das nach Hause gehen am Abend manchmal mühsam ;-) Wir finden aber, dass es genau das Hügelige ist, was den besonderen Charme von Zürich ausmacht.

Wir hatten nichts zu reklamieren! Alle waren wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit :-)

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig. Das Personal super nett und das Frühstück richtig gut: alles was man braucht ist da.

Da gab es nichts zu meckern.

Nach wie vor, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Das Hotel wurde im Allgemeinbereich sehr gelungen renoviert.

Die Sauberkeit ist nicht ganz top, leider.

Front desk helpful, especially Mandy. Breakfast was fine not great. Cooking my own egg on pan was not functional especially after others. Pan was messy. One person not enough for the best service.
