Love garyvoe have been lots of times. I thought I had booked breakfast when I make the booking. The lady at reception told us the times for breakfast so we decided to have breakfast, it was ok the food was average but I feel she should have said we don’t have it included at that time because if I had known we didn’t have it included we would have went somewhere it was almost 40e for breakfast which in my opinion it wasn’t worth it. Also the hotel is lovely the bed was so comfy but I did feel since my last visit the bedroom was a little bit shabby there was cracked tiles in the bathroom and I just felt the room looked a little dated.

Staff were great, room was clean, comfortable and a lovely view. Food in Lighthouse Bar was great and breakfast was delish.

De locatie is prachtig en het personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

The location was amazing for a short stay in Cork with 2 small kiddies. Fota and Leahys open farm are close by as well as being on the beach and a playground. It's a perfect place for a family break with small kids.

Das Hotel liegt dierekt am Meer. Es ist sehr schön spazieren zu gehen, es ist dort sehr ruhig. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer, mit Meeresblick.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, war aber chaotisch in der Organisation.

Very little. It felt expensive for a night in rural ireland. Exceptional quality from room to dining. The main bar was closed.

Het is wel een behoorlijk groot hotel. In de directe omgeving zijn geen restaurants, pubs of winkels.

Room v comfortable

Overall very good, lady serving breakfast 2nd morning could do with a course on dealing with guests a little better.

On one of the finest days of the year, the lady serving in the afternoon telling every guest that there was no out door eating and everybody had to eat inside!! Not sure if she was worried about us getting sunburnt or couldn’t be bothered bringing out the food!!!

Lovely location, great fitness and pool facilities

Reception staff were not the most helpful. We checked into our room and had a large bag of rubbish from the previous occupant on the floor, chewing gum on the bedside table and on the floor at the foot of the bed. We took the bag of rubbish to reception and then told them we also had had a shower and had no body wash or shampoo in our bottles, they said they would send someone up while we had dinner, when we returned to the room all that had been done is a bottle of liquid soap was placed on the floor of the bathroom, no shampoo or shower gel refilled, bar staff couldn’t make any drinks requested as main bar was closed and small pub bar didn’t have the same facilities they said, the bar member was very nice and friendly and this was not their fault but they couldn’t use the main bar so options were extremely limited.

The food was excellent, very friendly staff, exceptional location, enough variety on the breakfast, the room was very spacious and clean.

Food is terribly poor, BLT served was not a BLT and the Chowder was water, both worst I ever had

The location is lovely . It had a lovely breakfast .

The cleanliness of the room was definitely not up to scratch . Particularly the bathroom . Also black does skirtings show up all the dust and dirt and it just wasn’t great .

Nice bedroom let down by the dated bathroom. Lack of staff was evident- very late check in time, room barely available for 4pm and others queuing were told their rooms were not ready. Small detail but no take away coffee cups available at restaurant or bar. Foul smell on entering the reception from outside- I recommend lighting candles etc, as smell was also in the lifts.

Hotel liegt direkt am Meer schöne grosszügige Zimmer.

Bedienung im Restaurant war sehr langsam, haben für Getränke 1 Stunde gewartet für das Essen 1,5 Stunde. Essen war nicht überwältigend.

The location, the new Lighthouse Bistro, the Cocktail Bar - only open one night of our stay, special note to John at Cocktail Bar and Jose at Lighthouse Bistro. The bedroom was so big and well decorated, the bed was really comfortable.

The cleanliness of the main corridors and the access to pool, false nail floating around the pool as well as some plasters. The noted comfortable bed was great but awoken both mornings at 7am on my holidays, morning one by drills and hammering, morning two by hammering and screaming children next door, where their room interconnected to ours, so like living room with them for the morning . As a mother of older children I think we probably should have just been roomed close to older guests!!!!

The rooms were very spacious and the decor in the breakfast room and lobby is beautiful

The area off the main bar is beautifully decorated but the bar wasn’t open . We brought a drink from the bistro restaurant and sat in the library area. Later that evening we went back there and the glasses were still on the table. It lacks atmosphere with no music or visibility of staff. The lack of Staff is very evident. There could be more facilities for kids, like a games room / cinema. Being across from a beach and playground offers so much for families but there is a lot lacking to make this a great family destination . Also, our key card stopped working and when we went to get it reprogrammed, the lady on the front desk didn’t know how to use the machine and had to wait for a colleague to come back from a 20 minute break. This hotel has such potential as a family resort

Breakfast was not included but this could have been an error on my behalf when booking.

Bedrooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The food is excellent, great value breakfast and dinner was delicious. Staff as very helpful and accommodating and the leisure facilities were brilliant.

The room was a little bit dark and the lighting wasn't great. It operates a health club on site so there are some limits on when kids and families can be in the pool, not a big deal but something to be aware of.

Good food Comfort hotel

The room is spacious and comfortable. Location is nice right on the water (not much else within walking distance).

The main restaurant was closed on the day of our visit, which was a shame because it has great views and look like a nice place for dinner. The family restaurant was packed with what seemed like not enough staff for the capacity. Food was average.

Good position in front of the sea, nice bar with good live music

I was very disappointed when I discovered that the price I paid on booking was 25% higer than the price available at the same moment on the hotel website. I think this is too much

I loved the location, the front desk person was sort of busy and preoccupied. Being close to the ocean was a huge win with little kids. The bedrooms and water service delivery was great. We loved the pool, but the hours are weird for kids.

Enjoyed my stay, food and staff service excellent in lighthouse restaurant. So near a beautiful beach. Lovely atmosphere, had chats with lots of overseas visitors. Room very good. Would recommend.

Its location ,ideal so close to the beach.

We had dinner in the restaurant ,it was chaotic alot of broken dishes. While we were seated there was a glass filled with wet cigarette ends left on the bar for the duration of our meal disgusting and very off putting. Will that glass be washed and served to somebody again? Our bathroom in room 216 was by no means clean when we arrived to a massive cobweb behind the door . Its also very worn with a lick of paint badly needed. For the price i paid i expected better .

Struttura storica in vero stile irlandese che ti riporta indietro di qualche decennio. Vicinissima al mare. Romantica e affascinante. Ci sono due ristoranti, uno più elegante e uno più casual e un pub. Pulitissima la stanza e soprattutto il bagno.

The hotel was beautiful. Beautifully maintained and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was very good.

I would have preferred if breakfast was included in the price of the room.
