Leider etwas Hellhörig. Ich dachte das wird schlimmer was OK. Badenzimmer war jetzt nicht doll auch nicht schlemm, Schlimm, also relativ neutral. So kann fotos gemacht? Mich vom frühstück messakal

Disappointed at first to discover that the bedroom didn’t have a window at eye level, just 2 roof velux windows quite high up. I am a little claustrophobic. Asked if there was an alternative room but was told all rooms were similar. However, room was spotless .

Si vous sejourne en week end et que vous souhaiter Diner ici n oubliez pas d y aller tot car la tavern est full a partir de 18h. A faire absolument. Petite astuce car pour se garer ce n est pas simple, monter vers l eglise

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Die Lage war sehr gut. Ballycotton ist ein kleiner Ort mit einem Hafen. The Schooner ist fußläufig zum Wasser. Wir wurden morgens mit einem guten Frühstück versorgt, das der Chef des Hauses zubereitet. Er nahm sich die Zeit, mit uns zu plaudern. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Abends konnten wir im Pub, der von den Einheimischen gut besucht wurde, gut essen.
Das einzige, was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, waren die Dachfenster. Man konnte nicht hinaus sehen. Sonst war alles sauber und ordentlich.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Location was great in the middle of the village - we walked to the harbour before supper. The village was very busy on a Saturday night. We initially went out to find somewhere to eat but eventually came back to the Schooner and had supper watching the hurling local derby between Waterford and Cork. Very friendly crowd in the lovely traditional pub.
Because the village was so busy, we had to park quite far away, but this was not really a problem.

It was clean and comfortable but could use a refresh.

The room had no windows, only a skylight. I love a little air in a room. The bar and food service was not available on the night we stayed and I was disappointed by this. Apparently, a staffing issue in the town with the pub across the road and the bar close by also closed. Only a 950m walk to the only dinner option.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2025Lo mejor es sin duda la amabilidad con la que te tratan. El desayuno irlandés buenísimo, si puedes con él no volverás a tener hambre en todo el día. El dueño no dudó en conversar con nosotros durante el desayuno y recomendarnos algunas visitas. El pueblo merece un paseo con unos acantilados muy bonitos.
El aparcamiento, como en casi todos los comentarios, complicado. Pero el coche se deja en la carretera y no pasa nada, es así y todo el mundo lo hace.
