Nice facilities. Very clean. Very spacious. Safe car park Great receptionist and bar staff. Nice chill areas We loved the spa bit.
Horrible beds with matters springs. They try to put us in a room that we didn’t book (without balcony) I had to challenge it. Deposit money for towels. Can’t smoke in the balcony and the balcony was super small. A lot of mosquitos at night clearly they don’t spray the green area with flee treatment. Not a good choice of breakfast mainly pork and I’m a meat lover specially if I’m having English breakfast I want my sausage in my plate but I don’t eat pork so it was nothing to replace that. Flies on my drink not only in one but two glasses.
Apenas do pequeno almoço
A sanita tinha manchas.
Clean, modern, well equipped. Staff friendly and helpful.
Gym was small and not well equipped.
The welcome. gift of champagne & delicious chocolate cake in our room for our anniversary ❤️ The staff, especially in bar & poolbar,. Ingred was especially welcoming on our first evening. The pool area, the food especially breakfast.
The location .of Baia Grand Hotel but was too rural for us. There were lots of guests with cars which I would recommend if staying at this hotel. It proved a negative point for accessing Old Town for us. The shuttle bus was a welcome help but needs to run more frequently. It finished @ 4.30pm with no return journey back to the hotel, which was the time we preferred going into Old.Town . Taxis were very expensive except for the transfer to the airport. Reception ordered it on the morning of our return home. I would have an issue with ' no lifeguard at the pool at any time.'' It is documented in the Information booklet in the bedrooms. How this is allowed is a problem. for me, especially with children using the pool of various depths?? . services
The room were super clear and comfortable.
I was expecting some food more flavoured.

Nice quiet and relaxing stay. Good location if you need to relax. Some good restaurants in the area and a lovely beach at the end of the road. Great pool and loads of Sun loungers around the pool to choose from all day. Great food at the poolside bar. Daughter made full use of the swimming pool.
The hotel is exactly as it appears in the photos, not very large, but not small either. The rooms are nice, quite spacious, and clean. Although there is a balcony, smoking is not allowed on it; the hotel and the pool area have a few specially designated smoking areas. The pool is large enough for the hotel’s capacity. We had full board, but honestly, I do not recommend this option. At lunch, there were only about 2–3 side dishes and two types of meat. The food was very limited in variety, but everything we ate was tasty. They do have a barbecue evening which was, indeed, very diverse and delicious. A big downside, from our point of view, is that water is not provided at meals, not even with full board, not to mention juices or other drinks. I believe a carafe of water on the table should be mandatory. For all other drinks you have to pay, and water is quite expensive. Juices and other beverages are reasonably priced. Only in the morning is water, juice, and coffee included. For the rest of the day, except during meals, we bought water from the supermarket, which is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The area is quite secluded and very quiet. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, at least one of them. You won’t find wide, long beaches here, but they are extraordinarily beautiful due to the cliffs. There are few sunbeds, but we didn’t feel the need for them, as we fully enjoyed the beauty and wildness of the place. The water is very cold, but that is just how the ocean is. For those who want a wide sandy beach, the hotel provides a free shuttle bus, round trip. We preferred to explore the more wild beaches. I will leave this for last, but it is very important, and for us it was the heart of the hotel: Lucas, one of the staff members and, among other things, an entertainer. An amazing person, loved by absolutely all the children. My son,Robert, insisted a lot that I write about him, as he adored him. Lucas was the reason why we absolutely had to be at the pool in the evening, just so the kids could play together. He managed to integrate him into the group of children, tourists from different countries, despite the language barrier. Thank you, Lucas! Keep doing what you’re doing! 😊
Had a lovely time lovely and clean , the only resort I have stayed where the pool doesn’t open till nine , no shortage of sun beds and not one sunbed has a towel on it , I would bring your own towels as there’s are small and thin . The restaurant is nice plenty of choice , I stayed full board but as reviews have said also can’t believe you have to pay for water, £4.50 in restaurant, and pool bar £3.50 small bottle of water , Breakfast in morning you. Can have coffee , water , fruit juice , there is a notice on table in restaurant, have what food you like while your in here , if you take anything out you will be charged €10. My last little moan when you arrive there is no help with suitcase , if your here before 3 your told , go round corner and put in room, then if you wants a long trip go to pool bar eat and drink but you have to pay , because it’s not 3 yet , it was 1.30 , While you’re here you have to pay when you order any drinks straight away so keep your purse on you. , Like it here not enough to return , PS if you have any room left in you suitcase puts some drinks in ,,empty fridge in room 😳
Perfect location Good atmosphere Room was amazing, but we’d like a little table to hang up our wet clothes
La piscine intérieure
Les prix des repas très excessif
Micul dejun, camera
Tranquilidad, buena comida.
Me parece caro.
Very nice hotel, clean and friendly staff. We went out most mornings till early afternoon and still there were sunbeds left by the pool. Great location 5 mins away from old town, marina and plenty of beaches nearby. We only stayed bed and breakfast so can’t comment much on the food apart from there was a good selection at breakfast and the snack bar by the pool was really good portion sizes for the money. Download uber app before you come. It is much easier (and cheaper) than getting taxis. Great family friendly hotel would recommend to anybody and would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would complain about is the confusion over the free shuttle bus service. The first day we were there we went to reception and asked for the free shuttle bus to old town they said you have to book it a day in advance. No problem it was our first day so we got a taxi to old town instead. Tuesday we went back to reception to book the shuttle bus to the beach for Wednesday. Was told no we have to book on the same day (even though the day before we were told you have to book in advance) the man said go and have breakfast tomorrow and then come back and you can book it. Wednesday morning comes we went to breakfast went back to reception to book the shuttle bus and were told it’s already gone the next one isn’t until 4pm. So we had to pay for an uber. I think you need to make it clearer to guests when they book in how to use it rather than have 3 different reception staff tell you 3 different things. Apart from this, they were very friendly and always greeted with a smile when exchanging pool towels or even walking past when entering and leaving the hotel.
Hotel staff have been Excellent. Hotel rooms and facilities were great. Definitely coming back to spend my next holiday here in Portugal
Just back from a week’s stay at Hotel Baia Grande, and it was fantastic! Superb hotel, great location away from all the hustle and bustle of the Albufeira towns. Nice 15 mins walk to Praia da Coelha beach and Uber rides to the Marina, Old Town and Strip were around £4 to £9 max, great value! Hotel was immaculate, the grounds are really well kept and literally everyday the hotel gardeners are working and pruning the lovely plants and tree’s. The pool area is stunning, loads of beds, hammocks and swing seats, always space available and none of that horrid towel dash morning reserving antics you see elsewhere. Pool is clean, large and just amazing for everyone to enjoy, there is a small child friendly pool and a raised chill-out spa type pool also. The pool side snack bar is absolutely amazing for food, the menu is great and the quality and quantity of food is really impressive. Drinks slightly expensive €3.50 for a coke and for a small water, €4.50 for a large Super Bock larger, I suppose that’s not too bad for a pint but in the Marina and Towns you can get a pint for €2 or €2.50 at certain times. The staff were absolutely first class, engaging, friendly and helpful, the owners of the hotel were also really hands on and clearly setting really high standards, which is nice to see. The breakfast was amazing, we only had breakfast included and every morning really looked forward to the wide range of food and drinks available, cooked breakfasts, breads, cheeses, amazing fruits the list goes on! Highlight is the omelette bar. Highlight to not miss is the Thursday night BBQ evening around the pool, wonderful food and really well done, lots of traditional music and dancing too. Room was spotless with a smallish but functional balcony overlooking the pool and gardens, which I recommend booking as the opposite side of the hotels views are just not as good. There is an indoor pool and spa which we used once, need to wear a swimming cap in that pool, great saunas and multiple jets in the pool. Not so good bits: The family room we had was more like a double with a very small old camp type bed pushed literally against the bottom of the double bed, we have a 12yo and probably wasn’t ideal for him or us. But the room is just a base for us and it wasn’t going to have much impact, bathroom was very nice. The pool bar closed at 6pm, this felt early and basically meant anymore drinks were from the indoor piano bar, I want to be outside on holiday and the pool and gardens are so nice, it’s a shame you can’t chill out with a few drinks in the evening. Also, the entertainment in the piano bar is really for the elderly, singers and electronic organ type performers doing the old classics, some will love it but it felt more like an Eastbourne Saga experience. The little shop onsite is really basic and expensive, I would do a trip to the Spar stores in the towns and marina to load up on water etc. I should say, it was my son’s birthday while we were away and the hotel gave him a cake which was delicious and a hand written note, wishing him a happy birthday! Really classy and much appreciated! I would absolutely recommend this hotel, great atmosphere and a really nice mix of guests made it a holiday to remember! Thank you! Baia Grande
Well the Hotel is very nice, clean, pool area is lovely and pool bar no problems at all. Loads of sunbeds always available. Reception ladies very helpful. However, that's the good points. Bad points are - main bar service very slow. We waited half an hour for a cocktail and had asked twice. The barman continued to chat and serve other guests. It seems if you are in a large party spending a lot of money you get priority. We walked out the bar and told him why. They are very strict on you don't get your room until 3pm, no problem we had a snack and drink at the pool bar and waited patiently. Got our room no balcony, when we had on our booking there was a balcony. We complained and the reception girls called the Duty Manager, he came down completely ignored us and talked to the girls in Portuguese and left them to sort it out. We waited and were told to pack our stuff up vacate the room and wait for another. So waiting for a room again. Holiday ticking by. When one became vacant and clean we were given the key. We went to the room it smelt fusty and had the smallest balcony we had ever seen with two chairs and a big air con unit but at least it was somewhere to hang wet swimming costumes. We unpacked and by this time it was time to shower and find somewhere to eat. Next morning we moved the bedroom chairs to see wet walls and wallpaper peeling showing black mould behind. We took pictures. Off to Reception to complain again. They said they'd inspect the room. They rang us and told us to pack up our stuff AGAIN and move out. Had to wait around again with our suitcases for a room to become available and clean. No apology from a Manager, reception girls apologised. Hung around to see the Rep - all in all losing a whole day's holiday. Will be complaining to Jet2. On a location note, the Hotel is not near the beach. There is a small cove with lots of steps going down to it with one beach bar. You walk down a narrow rough dirt track -- not a nice walk to get to it and then it's crowded. There's free buses from the Hotel to a better beach but you have to be there all day or get a taxi back. Also free bus twice there and twice back to the Old Town as it's not walkable. There is nothing around the Hotel. Two or three restaurants a fair walk away including a Sports Bar. We struggled to find somewhere different every night to eat as we were B&B and no free bus into town, so taxis every night. I would recommend though the Luso Gusto Restaurant above the Bar Cafe next to mini market - about a 20 minute walk along a no pavement road then a poor pavement road. The Restaurant is easily missed but worth a visit. I think Jet2 need to be a bit more honest about the location. There is absolutely nothing next to or around the Hotel. If you want peace and quiet and keep using taxis (there are no buses) this is the place. If you want somewhere to be able to go out from on a nice walk to find somewhere to eat go somewhere else. For kids there is one very small round kids pool and one old unused creaky roundabout, that's it. Entertainment is a singer in the Lounge Bar next to the TV some nights and a Thursday BBQ.
Visited with family and friends. Nice hotel but in need of some TLC in areas at the moment I’d say it’s more of a 3 than 4 star. Reception staff were friendly on check in. Bar staff in lounge nice but very slow. Pool bar staff ok. There is a table tennis table by the pool but doesn’t seem to be any bat or balls we were sent in circles as to where we would find them in the end gave up. Pool food good. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Pool area needs TLC very tired looking, sun beds seen better days. Rooms nice enough, bathrooms great. Internal corridor walls and carpet need attention. Location bit out f way but both Uber and bolt easy to get and cheap so not a problem. No sun bed wars in this hotel which was a bonus.
Our room was excellent on first floor with pool view. Lovely bathroon ensuite...with heated mirror even so waiting for steam to clear to dry my hair. Location was secluded which suited us perfect. Beach only a short walk but get ready for a bit of a climb (down) to the beach which may be difficult with smallies. Pool brilliant for the kids though, max depth was 1.6m.
No milk supplied for cup of coffee or tea in room but this is only a very minor one.
As opções para comer tanto no pequeno-almoço, tanto no bar preço razoável.
everything the food are 10/10 the stuff is kind and helpful
the smell of the room like old othewise nothing everything is perfect
Just returned from Hotel Baía Grande, we stayed with friends and the holiday had ups and downs. We knew before hand about the 3pm rule so we went prepared with a change of clothes. On allocation of room I was disappointed with the view (no I didn’t pay extra for a sea view on booking) I don’t mind a land view but to be on same level as car park and bins was not great, however I wondered what the smell was then realised there was damp on a whole wall, we stayed 1 night then I knew I couldn’t stay so I asked for another room, which was provided (after 3pm so luggage again in luggage room) went to reception at 3pm had to wait 20 mins more as 2nd room wasn’t ready, room was 2 doors down but the balcony could not fit 2 people on it 🤨 after speaking with rep the next day they did offer a 3rd room (smaller room same balcony!) I didn’t want to repack so we just stayed where we were and got on with our holiday, we were given drink vouchers for 2 , that was a nice touch. The newly renovated bathrooms in the rooms were lovely, good showers etc Hotel really needs to look at 2 areas ( in our opinion) Sunbeds,,, for a 4 star hotel they are definitely 3 star quality & condition. Quality of Alcohol in both pool & Main bar ! We felt like we were in a poor all inclusive bar but yet had to pay 💶 for not very good quality SuperBok or wine ( local bars and restaurants have much higher quality SuperBok for less ) Breakfast was really good, we loved the outside terrace. Had a lovely relaxing full body massage at the Spa Loved the area Sesmarias , and the hotel is in good location. We won’t choose to return though sorry
Breakfast and pool area
Room was below standard for price
Hotel muito limpo e cheiroso , toda a equipe 5 estrelas.
Positives: lovely pool bar staff and piano bar staff, rooms looked after daily, breakfast great especially the omelette. Lovely touch for birthday cake delivery. Negatives: Do not expect earlier check in or any helpful/cheery check-in staff.... actually rude! No welcome at all. 'Passports?' was all we were greeted with. Worldcup was advertised all over hotel but they had a singer in the bar at same time plus the TV switched off in the middle of a game. Hold onto keycard for room or they will charge you 30euro on departure. Pool towels ready for bin! Piano bar staff lovely but no atmosphere. Ants in both our rooms! Ubers are 6_12euro to old town. I would not go there with young children. More geared towards couples or girl/lad trips.
It has been a great trip to Baia Grande hotel Albufeira . The service and staff have been amazing. So very friendly and caring and very encouraging if you speak even basic Portuguese like please and thank you. The food has also been amazing the breakfast buffet has a wonderful selection and the dinner buffet is just as varied. This is me even better. By the cook to order pasta section, that was a nice surprise. The pools both indoors and outdoors are great clean and very fun and very nice space to sun bath and or go for a dip. The pool bar was also nicely stocked with different foods and drinks. The rooms are large and clean with extra pillows and blanket if needed. It also has a great fast working air con system. Honestly can't fault the hotel or the staff best trip ever. We will be back! And with greater numbers 😀
We were at Baia Grande for 1 week 23rd/30th June. One of our best holidays !! So welcoming and pleasant the Portuguese people are. Special thanks to Pedro, Suzeta, Dora, Ana Rita, Laura, Kaunan and both lady's on omelette Station especially Pamela. Both my wife and I have never felt more welcomed at a hotel. Can't thank u all enough for our wonderful stay. Atmosphere great, restaurant and food a delight. Even people we met while there were so nice. Definitely be back to the Baia Grande and will be recommending to others. Thanks again 👍 Mr & Mrs G. Dunn Hamilton Scotland
The hotel is spotless piano bar fabulous huge well done to the two bar lads who work extremely hard and make great cocktails 🍹 food lovely. Down side towels very thin and poor quality and there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything. And the reason I haven’t given a 5 is because the hotel has allowed far too many hen and stags in who are rude unruly and it’s going to ruin a really nice hotel :( tip on trips book the caves and dolphins really great and use uber to go everywhere really cheap. I would return to Portugal but not to this hotel due to the hens and stags.
Bom pequeno almoço, simpatia do staff e boa localização Recomendo Boas instalações
Ter estado mais dias lá
Great hotel with amazing food and lovely staff
Staff simpático, carregamento para carro elétrico grátis.
Hotel ultrapassado com péssimas condições sonoras, camas desconfortáveis e as almofadas horríveis, estas devem ser as mesmas desde que o hotel abriu.
delicious drinks, lovely staff, relaxing pool area, clean bathrooms, good food

Hotel is beautiful, very clean ,lovely staff and very friendly.. would come back again 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Its a nice hotel with very good rooms. They keep it clean every day. Also the personel are very polite. The options in the hotel are endless with nice pools and a lot to do. Even a massage if you want. The food is variable and very tasty, everyday fresh. And the view is fantastic!
We arrived at the hotel at approximately 10.30hrs only to be told that we could only check in at 15.00hrs. We were offered pool towels and access to a luggage room. We declined the towels and decided to go for a walk instead as all we really wanted was a shower and a cup of tea. We finally got the keys at 15.00hrs. The room was lovely, absolutely spotless, loads of space for the 2 of us, beautiful bathroom and a great view of the pool area and the sea in the background. I had to go to reception for some milk as the wasn't any on the hospitality tray. I was very surprised when the receptionist said that they didn't have any, neither did the shop next door. We finally got some the next day in the old town. Our stay didn't start well but the rest of the holiday certainly made up for the bad start. The staff are all very helpful, professional and friendly. Everywhere inside and outside are kept spotlessly clean and tidy There is a shuttle bus service from the hotel into the old town that is free to use at numerous times during the day but needs to be booked at reception on the day of use. Breakfast and the evening meal are served on the 4th floor and hidden up there is a diamond called Joao Pedro who cooks fresh omlettes in the morning and amazing Italian pastas in the evenings. The buffet food is really good but the fresh pastas and omlettes are amazing 10 out of 10 The bar area is very relaxed and different artists are on most nights. Very friendly bar staff
Firstly I would like to say that I agree with all the positives in most of these reviews. The general staff are superb and I could add more names to those already mentioned but I won’t as I would no doubt leave somebody out. I did feel that our reception upon arrival was very lukewarm just being told to wait until 3.00pm to get a room but meanwhile leave luggage in an unlocked room around the corner. We discovered later that it looked like the hotel was only about a quarter full so why the wait? We were then allocated a room with the smallest balcony in the hotel which just about accommodated two chairs and a small table and was situated above the main bar/entertainment area. On the third day we returned to our room around 6.00pm to find that it had not been serviced. After phoning reception, towels and toilet rolls were bought to us but we got told that there was no one available to make the bed. I presume that such a job was below the status of the towel deliverer. On the fifth day we returned to the room at around 2.00pm and the room had again not been made up and we were out of toilet rolls. These were delivered promptly after calling reception and we were assured that the cleaning staff worked until 5.00pm so not to worry. Coming back to the room an hour later the bins had been emptied but the bed not made. Yet another call and a lady arrived who said that it was not her section but did do the necessary. All very strange. There are some odd quirks with the hotel. Normally you arrive at a hotel and, if not all inclusive, they take a run of a card and you charge any purchases to the room. Here they don’t do that and you have to pay for every transaction on the spot. Sometimes in the evening it is nice to sit on your balcony with a glass of wine perhaps and enjoy the view and the peaceful environment (When you’re not directly above the music area! )However you can’t really do that in this hotel. Every balcony is lit with cold white lighting until midnight over which you have no control. The biggest problem with this is that the walls all around you swarm with insects attracted to the light and you can get eaten alive. Crazy waste of electricity as well. Food was generally good albeit a little limited in choice. Eating at 8.00pm we did find that that some dishes were not being refilled. Sorry that this review seems very negative but it is exactly our experience. It is a nice hotel with an excellent pool which is ideal for children. As previously said the main staff are superb but we did almost wonder with our experiences whether we had managed to upset someone at management level but wouldn't know how. I know that being English doesn't always help in some quarters!!
Another fabulous stay for 10 nights. A big thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable. We loved the new dining room at breakfast times greeted by Andre and David most mornings. Enjoyed our walk into marina and old town. Courtesy bus is handy to visit Albufeira town. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon 😀
Tudo é 5 estrelas, desde funcionários, comodidade, excelente pequeno almoço. Decerto que sera para repetir. 😄🤩
De rust en het heerlijke zwembad! Prachtige kamer
Hotel was beautiful - spotless clean all the time
Nothing around Hotel
Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean interior & exterior areas . All staff from Management to housekeepers so helpful & friendly . Special mention for Andre & David , they really are in my husband & I opinion an asset to the staff team . Excellent buffet style meals in the new roof top restaurant which gives amazing paramount coastline sea views , we used the outside terrace seating area of the restaurant for our breakfast a few times . We booked a sea view room and were truly delighted, spacious room with safe, mini bar , kettle , private balcony & lovely walk in shower bathroom . Hotel provided a courtesy shuttle bus to Albufeira ( one needs to check times and availability). Taxi services are cheap and reception will phone for you . Pool towels are available from reception. Piano bar excellent cocktails with entertainment…. Coelha beach is about a 14 mins walk and well worth the steady walk . Our Anniversary & my birthday we celebrated at Baia Grande , a huge thank you to the management for making this extra special , presenting a bottle of champagne for our Anniversary & lovely Birthday cake for myself . We fully recommend Baia Grand Hotel and are looking forward to spending another holiday here in the near future. Sandra & Ray Bradley
Our stay at Hotel Baía Grande in Albufeira began after a very long day of travel, including a flight and a 45-minute drive. Upon arrival, Isabel was extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful, which we genuinely appreciated. We had booked directly with the hotel rather than through an OTA, and our credit card had already been provided as a guarantee hold. We were exhausted from travel, carrying four suitcases, and used the luggage cart ourselves, which was perfectly fine and appreciated. During check-in, we mentioned that we intended to pay cash upon check-out, as our cash was packed in one of our suitcases. At that point, another staff member, Samera, joined the conversation and insisted that we pay cash immediately before being allowed to go to our room. She refused to allow us to take our luggage upstairs and return with the payment afterward. My husband is currently recovering from cancer treatment and urgently needed to rest after the long journey. I was also in immediate need of a washroom and was simply directed to “a toilet over there.” Ultimately, my husband paid by credit card, which we had specifically hoped to avoid. While we understand that hotels have policies regarding payment, the insistence on immediate cash payment before allowing access to the room created an atmosphere of mistrust that felt unnecessary and inappropriate under the circumstances. It left us feeling as though we were suspected of leaving without paying despite already providing a valid credit card guarantee and arriving openly with all of our luggage. The room itself was lovely, and the breakfast was adequate. However, the tone of our arrival significantly affected our impression of what was otherwise a pleasant one-night stay. In hospitality, policies are important, but compassion, empathy, and discretion are equally important when dealing with tired guests, particularly those facing health challenges.

Acessos a falesia pouco claros

L'environnement et surtout le restaurant.
La réception, un peux froid L’accueil. Des fourmis dans la chambre.
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely four star hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, but what truly made the experience special was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. They went above and beyond by surprising my husband with a beautifully presented birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. We left with great memories and would happily return.
Lovely little hotel. Staff are amazing. Far enough outside of the strip ( couple of miles). That you don't get all the stag/hens etc but close enough to towns/ restaurants you can get a cheap uber. There are some places within walking distance but it's not the most picturesque walk. Pool was freezing this time of year but had an indoor pool that we took our 16 month Into. Food and drink is pricey (usual euro prices) but the area seems to be very upmarket ( didn't choose it for that reason ) so all fits in. Would def recommend and come back
A comida do jantar estava bem confeccionada.
Everything was perfect, the room, the food, the views. It was my birthday and we got a small delicious birthday cake in our room. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The Hotel was amazing. We hat a great time with nice food and beautiful Room. There was a pool, a sauna and a steamer, so nearly everything you could wish for. But The thing that made this Hotel amazing was the staff. There were all very kind an helpfull. Especially Diego, Igor and Laura where absolutely fantastic thanks to them three :)
A localização.
O pequeno era pouco diversificado.
Dining room, indoor pool, garden and pool
Flooring in the bathroom
This hotel is a tad remote from Albufeira, taxis required (From €7 to €15) although we did walk it one day !! There are buses on the main road which we weren't told about and the hotel's transfer bus was once per day at 9:30am with the return at 4pm, which you had to prebook, pathetic really. Nice rooms, food great, staff pleasant. Special mention for the bar staff Diego, Hygor and Samuel who made us feel very welcome. Entertainment every night in the 'Piano Bar' not bad, although the piano wasn't played once !!
Location
A localização e a cortesia do pessoal
Nenhuma observação desfavorável.
There is only positive feedback from room , staff , hotel ambience it is the full package for us the location was perfect we were looking for a weekend break to relax and Baia Grande was perfect .
There is no negativity and nothing we didn’t like .
We checked in last night, originally supposed to be at another hotel but they cancelled our booking few days later - however a blessing in disguise - what a lovely hotel, the staff are friendly but professional, breakfast was great, the facilities are excellent, the views from the restaurant are stunning. The piano bar and its staff are first class We are only here for 4 nights, wish it was more. My wife and I are fortunate to know the area, and there are at least 5/6 lovely places to eat in a 5/10 min walk, we have a car so can go further afield to our favourites
Banhos turcos fechados. Pouco divertimento para a época de carnaval.
this was our 6th visit and it was disappointing. We had a room as requested on third floor but unfortunately now found ourselves below the new restaurant. Woken every morning by 7 am ,with noise from above as the staff set food out, chairs moving in and out as people started arriving and then getting food, plus someone in high heels walking up and down. The actual restaurant is now a large long room, which involves walking from one end to the other to collect food. The food was never very warm, we have never seen the microwave used so much. The old restaurant used Bain Marie method of heating food which was better than now. The large room does not help with keeping food hot, plus the temperature of the room was on the cool side always. The cool food was complained about and when they tried to increase the heat the electrics went out. Most of the waiting staff need to improve vastly, guessing they were being trained on the job as it had only opened at beginning of February. The lad Andre on the door was the best thing about this new restaurant. Generally it felt like a canteen. Not much space between tables and the layout means moving around to get food, so constantly people are trying to get by with their meals. Regarding our room, after 5 days with no rain we were still getting water dripping all the time onto our balcony from the roof above, assume the new decking built for the outdoor area of new restaurant has a void below and water then runs from this onto the wooden roof of our balcony. The hotel was informed of the noise and water issue with our room, so maybe they can resolve them. We always praised the hotel especially for the food and atmosphere in the restaurant so this really disappointed us, we will not be going again.
Amazing hotel with lovely views, from start to finish what a lovley hotel, all staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble, bar tender was excellent, atmosphere was warm and very relaxing, rooms are very spacious with everything you need very clean, we were very close to the bar but it didnt wake us, location wise, it isn't close to anything but Uber and Bolt are very reasonably priced and very quick. Breakfast was a buffet with lots to offer.
