The breakfast buffet was not the best I’ve experienced but the omelette men did a great job.

Sehr gut gelegen, fussläufig zum Strand. So ein ruhiges Hotel habe ich noch nie erlebt. Eine Stille, keine Hektik. Super freundliches Personal. Eine tolle sehr gut gepflegte Anlage mit einem ganz tollen Pool. Sehr leckeres Frühstück.

El día que nos fuimos nos dimos cuenta que nos habíamos dejado una bolsa con ropa en la habitación. Volvimos y lo dijimos en recepción y como la habitación ya la habían hecho no estaba allí, pero se pusieron todas las limpiadoras a buscar entre la basura de las habitaciones hasta que la encontraron

Hubo un día que no nos hicieron la habitación a pesar de que habíamos puesto el cartel de que hicieran la habitación. Llegamos tarde después de estar todo el día fuera y nos encontramos con la sorpresa cuando llegamos, Como era tarde, nos quedamos con la habitación sin hacer. Eso no puede pasar en un hotel de esta categoría y con lo que cuesta.

Ubicación excelente, personal muy atento y la comida muy rica, aunque no tiene mucha variedad la cena está bastante bien

Excelente pequeno-almoço; Bom restaurante, se bem que parece ter havido alguma mudança face à última estadia; O ambiente calmo e tranquilo da piscina é convidativo após uma manhã de praia; Funcionários muito simpáticos e sempre muito prestáveis.

Os horários de limpeza dos quartos parecem um pouco descoordenados.

Las habitaciones eran muy comodas, con todo lo necesario para una gran estadia. La zona de la piscina era muy agradable. El personal ha sido muy amable y el desayuno fue muy variado. Esta bien ubicado, cerca de la playa y de restaurantes. Lo recomiendo!

breakfast could have been better (more options). spa was a bit disappointing. steam room and sauna were both dark. steam room did not work properly. jacuzzi was a bit cold.

Very nice hotel, perfectly located (3 min walk from the beach), with great facilities (pools, saunas, gym, restaurant). Very friendly staff. Overall peacfull and relaxing stay, exactly what I was looking for.

Very basic breakfast, although the omlets and eggs bennedict were perfect :) lack of coffe machine :(

Wow where do we start! Well, we lay on our sun beds and booked again for next year. If you are looking for the most relaxing holiday then this is the place, staff are great, massive shout out to Winner who looked after us most days at breakfast time, bar and the Italian restaurant which is part of the hotel, she made us smile everyday, Robin who served on the bar was fab and Ricardo on reception on an evening is a great guy. 5minute walk to the beach with amazing sunsets and restaurants. Very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is very good, the 2 guys who make the omelettes do a great job, it is nice to see that they enjoy what they do. Every part of the hotel is immaculate, we cannot fault it. See you all same time next year.

Just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. No complaints whatsoever. Jet2.com however.... not sure why guests are dropped off at a roundabout up the road and picked up to go back to the airport. The manager of the hotel said it was only Jet2 who did this. When we arrived 7th July we were dropped off 'on the roundabout' (middle of the road) which was very dangerous. No provision was made for an elderly lady who walked with sticks. She was expected to walk up the road, absolutely shocking. Luckily the kind man on reception drove her to the pickup point. We spent a few nights at Planet Fusion a local bar around 10 min walk. Absolutely outstanding. Great atmosphere, good food and lovely owners. The beach was literally a cock stride away from the hotel, beautiful white sand with 3 restaurants. The hotel owns an Italian attached to the hotel, food was amazing. Hotel breakfast was good with plenty of choice All in all a very chilled holiday in a perfect location, stunning hotel and staff were so nice.

The breakfast had a great choice and staff very friendly especially Ricardo! The location is fantastic, walk to restaurants, beach and shop.

I would love a walk in shower

We came here as girls holiday. The hotel is lovely, very clean, nice breakfast and we’ve enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly. The breakfast room, bar, and swimming pool were fantastic. It’s close to the beach and the old town. We walked to the strip in Oura which is 20 minutes walk and the night there were fantastic and lively. Unfortunately, on our last day, we were unable to use the outdoor tub to spend our final afternoon there because a group of immature grown men had been occupying it from morning until late afternoon. We politely asked them to make room for the four of us women to use it, but one of the men was being arrogant replied, “Tough, it’s not our problem.” They were drinking in the hot tub, leaving alcohol bottles on the steps, and behaving like little boys. We don’t want to jump in with them as we would be uncomfortable with their creepy behaviour. We raised this issue with the hotel managers, but they only warned the group not to drink alcohol in the tub and did not ask them to move so that other guests could use it. Common sense and respect seemed to have been thrown out of the window. It was disappointing that the managers didn’t do their job as they should have. A couple of minutes later, the group of men eventually left the tub, and we were able to use it along with other guests. It was obvious that the other guests had also been waiting to use it.

the hotel is lovely and clean the staff are always friendly and politest the restaurants menu does not alter soup of the day is carrot and pumpkin every day and a lot of the staff did not speak English at all.Winner was an exception she spoke very good English and was very keen to learn very valuable team member

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Vila Gale Praia. This hotel is located close to a lovely sandy beach, the food was really good and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It is a very quiet location with a few restaurants close by and Albufeira is a taxi ride away which is much livelier. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return when visiting Portugal again.

Our third year of visiting this tranquil hotel and,on our return home we have immediately booked for next year. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming which fits in with the ambience of the hotel The grounds are immaculate and there is seldom a problem with finding a sunbed. The evening menu had changed this year and there were some strange combinations on the menu. However, the option of changing your evening meal for a pizza at lunchtime is good. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday, then look no further.

It's quite isolated which is fine of you just want to stay by the pool or visit a beach side restaurant but there's nothing for miles around, no town etc.

We have just returned from a weeks stay. We really enjoyed the hotel. On arrival we were greeted at the kerb by Ricardo on reception, he made us feel very welcome with complimentary tea and ice cold towels.The hotel is very clean and quiet, wonderful pool and sunbeds with cabanas as well. We were on half board and we did find the food in the restaurant was not quite to our taste and at times it was difficult to know what to choose. We would have preferred something with fresh salads and vegetables to accompany the meat or fish. Breakfast however was good with a really good selection and a wonderful egg station freshly prepared. The hot selection of food was sometimes not hot enough although there was a hotplate. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning excellent. Nice sea view and wonderful sunset from our balcony. We will return.

The staff were excellent. The hotel, pool area are kept very clean, rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily. Very peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of sunbeds. Restaurants are very good. It’s in a quiet surrounding area. Very close to the lovely clean beech which also has 3 restaurants. Prices for food and drink are very reasonable.

Eine sehr gut ausgestattete und gepflegte Anlage mit freundlichem Personal. Große Zimmer, empfehlenswert mit Pool-Blick. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Freigetränk und Weinflasche zur Probe. Pool, Garten und Zimmer extrem sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber mit guter Erreichbarkeit von Strand, guten Lokalen und mehr.

What a beautiful hotel,i was greeted by friendly staff. Immaculate throughout,my room was beautiful and spacious with Aircon and a Balcony beautiful décor. There is a pool which is immaculate.The food was lovely and had an a la carte menu which had a great choice of local and British food and had a Italian restaurant a 1 minute walk from the hotel I could use as part of the package. The beach is a five minute walk from the hotel,and upon my leaving after a wonderful stay I was given a lunch box for my journey home as I was leaving missing my breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here at fantastic value for money.I will definitely be visiting here again. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Dat je lastig wat eten/ drinken kan bestellen als je bij het zwembad ligt. Een QR code waarmee je dit zou kunnen bestellen vanaf je ligbed zou perfect zijn. Ook voor hun omzet zou dit beter zijn.

Hotel is small and very quiet. We had a pool side room on the first floor which was great because the pool access was easy. Our room was spacious. Not much room to hang your clothes or store them. We asked for a kettle and got it. We only drank coffee, but for some reason, we got extra amount of tea bags. We also had a welcoming bottle of local wine, but since we do not drink alcohol, I asked the reception to collect it and bring some non-alkohol drink instead. It was promised, but never delivered. Also we had a tea light candle in the room, lovely, but since we don’t smoke, we could not light it. I did mention this to a staff member, and we were promised to give a lighter, but it never appeared. We were on a half board and really enjoyed the Massa Fina Italian restaurant! Also breakfast was delish! Dinner at the main restaurant was inconsistent: some dishes were very good but some disappointing. The location of the hotel is lovely if you want to stay close to the beaches and a bit farther away from the hustle and bustle of Albufeira city (7 km away). Our check out was the something which unfortunately ruins the stay. The day before our departure we asked if it is necessary to order a taxi beforehand and we were told not to, since it arrives in 5-10 minutes and costs 60 euros. When we checked out, there was a very rude person who told us that we should have booked the transportation a day ahead. This person started to push for the answer: who told you this etc and told us that it would take 30-40 minutes to get this ride. It was very uncomfortable. I asked to order a regular taxi which this person said to be very very expensive (emphasizing the costliness). We got the taxi and it actually cost 56 euros. What made me feel worse was to see how this person handled the customers after us. They were given smiles and thank yous and such a kind service. The other personnel however were super nice, even though we did not always got what was promised to us.

Ich hatte als Alleinreisende einen traumhaften Aufenthalt im Vila Gale. Mein Late-Check In war sehr unkompliziert, das gesamte Personal war super lieb und freundlich und hat mir zu jeder Zeit mit einem Lächeln meine Fragen beantwortet. Das Hotel ist absolut sauber und schön gestaltet, ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Poolblick, welches perfekt für mich war. Man kann direkt von der eigenen Terasse an den Pool, was suuuper praktisch ist :-) Die tägliche Reinigung war zuverlässig, der Pool und die Gartenanlage sehr gepflegt und ich hatte das vermutlich beste Hotel-Frühstück seit langem. Von frischem Obst und Gemüse, Smoothies, Säfte, über eine große Auswahl an Wurst/Käse, Kaffee/Tee wird serviert, täglich Kuchen, Waffeln, Pancakes und sogar selbstgemachter Joghurt. Das Highlight ist eine frische Ei-Station, wo man sich Spiegelei, Omelette etc. zubereiten lassen kann. Das Meer und der schöne Strand ist fußläufig nur 3min. entfernt. Ich bin vom Hotel aus gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und Bolt/Uber herumgekommen - man ist in 5min. an der Marina in Albufeira für diverse Trips, 10min. in der Altstadt Albufeira, 30min. in Ferragudo/Portimao. Alle Mitarbeitenden haben stets mit mir geplaudert und mich gefragt wie es mir geht. Das gibt's natürlich in vielen Hotels, aber hier hatte ich speziell das Gefühl, dass sie es nicht machen, weil es ihr Job ist, sondern weil es wirklich einfach herzliche Menschen sind. Ich habe alles an diesem Urlaub geliebt, selten hab ich mich so wohl gefühlt. Danke an das gesamte Team, ich komme im August wieder :-)

Tudo, é um paraíso imperdível. O pequeno almoço é divinal, realmente merece todas as estrelas possíveis.

A única coisa mesmo que gostamos menos foi o facto de se conseguir ouvir barulho dos corredores e dos quartos de cima. O isolamento de som não é o melhor, mas não é algo que nos faça dar uma opinião negativa. Os hóspedes eram civilizados e não faziam barulho, apenas os conseguíamos ouvir abrir e fechar portas, caminhar, arrastar alguma cadeira… coisas assim, nada extremo.

This hotel is by far one of the best I've been too the staff are fantastic, and the cleanliness is second to none rooms cleaned daily. The place is in a very quiet area ideal for a peaceful holiday but also a short taxi ride from the old town and new town. Breakfast is superb and the staff in the restaurant are very good also bar staff brilliant can't comment on evening meal as only had B&B. Will definitely be booking to go again great adults only hotel really enjoyed our visit. Thank you vila gale

Well appointed hotel with friendly helpful staff in a good location next to the beach. The pool and sun bed areas are excellent and the spa facilities were fine. Breakfast offering was very good.

The staff was just wonderful. They were helpful and so friendly. The hotel is a great size for what we were looking for - a quiet holiday by the beach. I'm sure some people would call it small, but I thought it was perfect. It was also exceptionally clean - from the rooms, to the bar and restaurant to the spa. And speaking of the spa - it was also really great! We had excellent massages and facials and then lounged in the sauna and indoor jet pool. The whole stay at Vila Galé was really wonderful. We had a great time!

I wish the jet pool in the spa was heated. But that's my only complaint! We loved everything else!

Just returned from a 4 night stay. What a lovely hotel. Staff very friendly & helpful. Rooms very clean & modern. Went with my granddaughter for a break. We both had a very relaxing time, used all the facilities. Spa was great. We even booked a massage which was wonderful. Would like to say a big thank you to Ricardo, who was so welcoming when we arrived and very helpful and pleasant during our stay. We stayed half board. We Ate 2 nights in the hotel & 2 nights in the Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. Good choice on all nights. Excellent service from all staff. Will be returning. The only negative thing which had nothing to do with the hotel was having to walk 10 minutes up to the roundabout to meet your return transport. If you are looking for a nice quiet break I would recommend this adult only hotel. Thank you once again for making our stay very relaxing.

A low key, friendly, spotless and comfortable boutiquey hotel. A short walk from the fabulous beach, with easy parking, sports and spa facilities and super-accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We were treated to two complimentary bottles of wine and a birthday cake during the week we stayed. We completely relaxed during our stay and will definitely return.

Difficult to find anything negative. If we were being picky, the breakfast would benefit from some fresh fruit.

Tolle Lage, an einem der schönsten Strände! Großzügiges, sauberes Zimmer und sehr sehr freundliches Personal!!! Kostenlose Parkplätze befinden sich vor dem Hotel. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen. Riesengroßer Pluspunkt für uns - Adults only und der kleine feine Wellnessbereich!

Fue todo genial, aunque la noche que cenamos en el restaurante, los platos era ciertamente escaso, sobre todo los postres en relación a su precio.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and although not huge, was well equipped. Breakfast offered good options with a fresh omelette station. We visited at Christmas so didn’t use the pool which is outdoor but it was wonderful looking, surrounded by manicured lawns and gardens. The location was low key and relaxing with the beach a 3 min walk and then a network of boardwalks allowed for strolls in all directions. The staff were very good and helpful in particular the restaurant and bar staff. Overall very impressed

I liked everything really. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention goes to Ricky, the evening concierge who provided a brilliant service.

Mi è piaciuta soprattutto l'area della spa. Non molto grande, ma dotata di sauna, bagno turco e piscina idromassaggio, con vista sul giardino. Molte apprezzate anche la piccola palestra e una stanzetta per fare yoga. Ottima posizione, facilmente raggiungibile con l'autobus e a 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Camera grande con terrazzino (da cui si vede il mare) e letto enorme comodissimo. Tutto il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Essendo bassa stagione, la scelta per colazione e cena era ridotta (cena à la carte e colazione in parte a buffet), ma comunque di ottima qualità. Ho gradito l'upgrade con una camera a un piano più alto, data la bassa affluenza in quel periodo. Belle passeggiate in zona (Lagoa dos Salgados).

Scoprire solo al momento del check-in che alcuni servizi erano ridotti data la bassa stagione.

Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Zimmer war sauber und hatte einen sehr guten Blick auf den Strand . Sehr ruhig in der Nacht . Frühstück war gut , hat an nichts gefehlt .
