Large well appointed bedroom coupled with a super breakfast ordered off a menu rather than the usual buffet experience. Free parking on the premises with a well stocked bar . What more could you ask for !

I just wish we came when all the greenery was in season on the front of the hotel building but it was still fantastic- the restaurant was absolutely amazing food was incredible- the staff were so lovely and made us feel welcomed and at ease at our stay- the king room was so nice with a garden view and I had the best sleep ever the bed was incredibly comfortable. Big supermarket right next door too!
Nothing to do with the property just the location! Not loads to do and very hard to get Ubers and taxis around here without getting reception to call the local services. The only reason I wouldn’t come back is purely just because there’s not a lot to do in banbridge - this was just a nice little stay that was really close to the GOT tour.

There was that many celebrations on at the hotel the room I was in heard everything room 11.It was nearly 1 in the morning, before u heard every one leaving then I was surprised I heard the hoovering get done beside the reception under were I was sleeping.Ive stayed in that many hotels before but never seen anyone clean at after 1 in the morning . Not much sleep so it has put me of coming back .

Staff got room keys mixed up and we got several messages and phone calls saying we had left with out settling bill ! We were still in our room and not even checked out . The situation was solved . But the reception have to put keys in the right place and check before sending messages and phone calls , before accusing of leaving with out paying ....

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026Staff were all so lovely and accommodating. Edel at check in is a sweetheart. Loved the residents bar downstairs and barmen were great. Raspberry Bramble Cocktail was too nice!! Dinner was tasty, breakfast was super everything was so freshly cooked and they dont scrimp on anything. Would absolutely return. Thanks to all at Belmont for an enjoyable stay .
Rooms were spotless and so comfortable only thing that would have been nice would be a small fridge but that's only looking for a negative.

The property has unfortunately not been well maintained and doesn’t live up to the photos online, the interior shows a lot of wear and tear and has seen better days. Shelf in the bathroom not properly secured to the wall, fully yellowed toilet seat and terrible shower pressure, water came out like a dribble. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely cold despite the heating being on, windows very drafty. The breakfast was ok but the dinner was very poor. The prices are much too high for the quality of food offered.

The bed was so uncomfortable. Myself and my husband had hardly any sleep. And the shower in our room was fixed and really high up on the wall so I could not angle it or lower it in order to wash properly.

Reviewed Dec 4, 2025We stay here every year for our annual Christmas shopping trip to Banbridge . Lovely as always . It was a busy night with a disco on but it ended about 9.30 . Great having access to sky and nice breakfast in the morning . They were very accommodating, my sister couldn’t make it in the end due to illness and even though we past the cut of the refunded her , for her stay which was really nice . Would definitely stay there again . We will probably be back in January to make up for my sister missing out ☺️
All was perfect . Just the bathroom was very cold- we just couldn’t figure out the radiator but room was lovely and warm so it didn’t effect anything .
