スタッフの対応が最悪 チェックイン前に荷物をおかせてもらいたかったけど、全然連絡返してこないし、挙句の果てには人で全部仕事をこなしてるから返事を返せないと謝罪の前に言い訳をしてくる！こっちは３時間ホテル前にいたんだけどね

Personnel peu accueillant, ne parle pas anglais, n’avait pas du tout envie d’être sympathique. Ne cherche pas à m’aider malgré mes solicitations. Personne ne m’a donné la moindre information sur l’hôtel (où sont les douches, les toilettes, l’utilisation des parties communes…). Niveau humain c’est clairement une catastrophe. Quant à l’hôtel en lui même, plutôt propre et agréable.

1.地理位置不錯，走3分鐘有youbike 2.有店貓可擼

1.光是大門及寢室門的密碼不知道按失敗幾次，要讓密碼板面先喚醒，再按密碼，可是喚醒這個步驟就不知道怎麼按，總之會誤按很多次，後來才習慣。我住宿2天，求助我怎麼按密碼的旅客，我至少幫助過3人，顯然密碼房門有問題。 2.浴室提供的沐浴乳，沖完之後皮膚還是滑滑的，建議還是不要用這款沐浴乳。而且滑滑的不一定是保濕。 3.寢室房間太小，很多背包客的行李都沒空間放，置物箱也很小，只能放貴重物品，其他大背包、行李箱只能放走道。 4.寢室床鋪很熱，冷氣吹不到裡面，在房間一直流汗，想將拉簾拉上，又因冷氣吹不進來，只能半關，不然會熱死。 5.也是房間問題，一進門就有異味，天氣熱真的難免，但我還是想反應，也許我也是異味來源之一。或許有空氣清淨機會更好，但房間太小應該放不下。 6.床單起毛球了，建議更換。

床睡起來蠻舒服，一樓有桌子可休息，有飲水機

床架設太高，爬上爬下很害怕摔死，上層太高爬樓梯又滑，左邊也沒有抓力點，住了一晚爬了兩次，5點想再睡一下，但樓梯難爬，於是做罷，幸好一樓還可休息，每次要下床時，都在床邊害怕下床，但半夜尿急又忍不住，必須下床。然後側所又在外面，門鎖又難按😫

還沒入住去電詢問入住流程，就被教訓一頓，索性找別家。

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. It’s very professional organised, clean, has pretty private hostel beds with a curtain, own lamp and plug. Facilities are of high standard and clean. The kitchen and common are is big, clean and well stocked. You find everything you need here. I also really liked the location since it’s close to a beautiful path to the city, ocean or the mountains. A Youbike station is just in front the house. The owner of the hostel was very considered and always checked in on me. And yes - there is a super cute cat too. I will stay here again.

從台東車站租機車騎過來很方便 坐公車就不清楚了

我覺得這家旅館從進門前開始就是個闖關遊戲

房間整齊明亮，熱水很快就有了，還有洗衣機可以使用，電視還有Netflix 可以看，床頭就有插座，一樓有飲水機及冰箱可以用，還有一隻可愛的貓貓，整體來說很棒

我們入住3天，但期間沒辦法更換浴巾，有點不方便，而且沒有打掃，垃圾有點滿，雖然垃圾不太影響，但浴巾自己不好洗也沒法換有點不方便

屋主對待人的態度可以好一些，我連開7小時趕路，就是怕你等太晚，結果你送了一句“說會很晚到，還以為多晚欸！” 第二晚房客在房間內喝酒吵到2點，有後續嗎？ 你當時對待住客的態度跟語氣，門外有4個人在看著。

氛圍很不錯，可以很放鬆的享受假期

淋浴間很寬敞、客棧位置很好，去車站、海邊都很近，老闆也很友善，提供很多口袋名單讓我們去探店

床位是半封閉，隱私性很好，青旅有洗衣機可用，有曬衣架，交誼廳有簡單的加熱設備，價格好，青旅的貓貓很親人，如果沒有特別挑的話，附近有餐廳

冷氣是有時間限制，太早入住會有些熱

Ich wurde sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Der Betreiber war mir gegenüber sehr ungehalten und aggressiv, weil ich mein Fahrrad in die Nähe der Tür abgestellt hatte. Ich sollte meine Taschen an der Straße entladen. Hatte zuvor bei booking gelesen, dass man das Rad mit reinnehmen darf. Zudem stimmt die Adresse bei booking nicht mit der bei Google Maps überein. Mach dieser negativen Situation mit dem Betreiber, habe ich nicht eingecheckt. Daher kann ich zur Sauberkeit und co nichts sagen. Aber gastfreundlich war der Herr nicht.

清掃は行き届いているしスタッフは気さくでとても親切だった。洗濯機も使える。可愛い猫もいる。台東中心部からは十分に近い。しかも安い。

共用部分は少し狭くて、客が多い時は居心地が良いとはいえないかもしれない。

房間冷氣很難吹到床邊，希望有電風扇之類的，增加對流來讓房間內可以涼。

雖然是住六人房但實際是一人一間可能剛好是平日住宿，公共空間很新很乾淨

Usually I’m not the biggest review writer, but for Utopia Hostel, I’ll gladly make an exception. I stayed at utopia because of a festival called pasiwali that the owner also visited in the evening. It quickly became a very inappropriate situation when the owner decided to text me on WhatsApp, asking me that he wanted to buy me a drink and that he rather wanted to ‘wait for me to come back’, that being the hostel. I didn’t respond at that moment because I was shocked that he would use my private number for something like that. A few hours later, however, at 2 am, his messages got more extreme, and he asked me if he ‘needs to spend money on me’. You can guess for yourself what he means by that.   Because of this, I want to warn every woman who is thinking of staying at this hostel. This experience cast a shadow over what should’ve been a care free festival weekend. Luckily, my friends offered me to stay at their hostel the next day, because I didn’t feel safe anymore. They waited for me outside while I quickly packed my bags. Overal an experience I wouldn’t want to wish on any other traveler!

It felt like I was being a guest in someone’s house but they weren’t that happy that I was there. There’s a cat that stays in the entrance area and it smells a bit. The owner lives in the hostel.

Everything was good!

I booked this Hostel because of its location. Most of the facilities like bike renting, Bus stops, and some tourist attractions were within walkable distance from this hostel. The second thing I like is cats if you want to play with a PuPu cat please book it without any hesitation. Some comments describe the rude behavior of the manager. Personally, it is not true in my case. I will rate some points following out of 5 Location- 5/5 Nearest food facilities - 5/5 (A decent 7-11 on just a walking distance) Bed size - 4/5 Hotel facilities - 5/5 (Fridge, microwave, Washing machine, Hairdryers) Room ventilation - 2/5 ( Just a small window and an air purifier is being used) Wifi - 5/5 Bike rental - 5/5 ( There are many shops that can give you a bike for rent around area of 2 km) Other - If you like cats please book it. How to reach here- You can take the Downtown Sighting bus from Taitung Train station (2- buses in one hour ) and stop near Xinsheng Post office and you can walk to the hostel.

The bed size is not the same as given in the pictures. That does not mean the bed was bad. The room size is very small, if you have large bags then you can not keep your luggage inside the room. This is most suitable for backpackers who are carrying a single bag.

The place is clean, bathrooms are spacious and high quality, there is a free laundry machine and the boy who helped the owner was very polite and helpful. It's relatively well located as well. Overall I think it qas good value, and I would stay there again if I needed.

The lobby closes at 23h59, which is understanble since it's desireble to avoid disturbing guests with loud conversation. However, it's the only place with desks, and sometimes I need to work late at night. This wouldn't cause any noise, but I can work after midnight (at least according to the rules).

Great hostel and very nice guy running it. I missed the bus and he was driving me all the way to Dulan with his scooter.

This was a fantastic stay. Silent bedrooms, above average mattresses, spacious bathroom with good showers and a host that really helped me out with some storage and arranging a taxi. PS. The hostel is straight next to a walkway that used to be an old train track. It is a direct, calm route to the heart of the city. Because of that it's actually a great location. My favourite stay so far.

It’s good for night or two. Very well maintained and clean . The dormitory rooms are quite small. The communal space is quite comfortable. I was allowed to park my little foldable bike inside .I would recommend the place .

It would be nice to offer advance payments for foreign tourists via booking. Getting asked to transfer money to a Taiwanese bank account is not convenient.

Don't believe the review. It was the worst hostel in my trip in Taiwan. The boss working alone, hot tempered and never respect me. Never smile throughout my stay. No feeling of welcoming at all. Scolded me twice like wanna to hit me. I really feel my own safety during my staty here. The cat approaching me and staring me in the kitchen. I just making sound " shh". He accused me of using the knife to chase away the cat and scolded me like crazy. The cat jumping here and there at all common area. I checked out at 730am. He scolded terribly for making noise on climbing up n down the stairs. Because his bedroom is just beside the staircase. It was 7.30am. Not 4.30am If you expect soundless and peaceful sleep, then don't work here. Not all traveller can adjust their schedule according to your sleep. Don't pay money to let people humiliate you eve as a backpacker. He even cancelled my reservation on booking later to prevent from giving the review. Dishonest , hot tempered and never respect the guest.

The place was perfect in every way, very clean and comfortable with a nice kitchen and common area, located close to shops and cafes and within walking distance of the city. The host, James, was very welcoming and helpful, providing useful information and directions around the city. He genuinely seemed to enjoy the role, so it felt like I was staying at a friend's house. A home away from home! Will return here whenever I visit Taitung :)

A very clean hostel

Very clean, calm and has a nice atmosphere, although less social than other hostels.

Lovely stay! Very convenient localization close to a lot of good cafés and restaurant and only a 15min walk to both the bus station/ railway art village and the night market. The place is clean with a big kitchen with all possible supplies and a spacious common space. The room is small but offers privacy with the pods like beds and good ventilation. The manager is friendly and has an adorable cat that loves to play fetch and cuddle! Feels just like home :)
