Chalet Obergurgl Luxury Apartments

Quarta volta che veniamo in questo posto di cui siamo innamorati. Perché? La quota (1900 metri) è ideale per scappare dal caldo cittadino. L'appartamento è molto ampio, ben rifinito, comodo. A richiesta la stanza viene pulita anche tutti i giorni. La SPA dentro l'edificio è il valore aggiunto: acqua a 32 gradi, sauna e bagno turco separati e riservati, aperta fino alle 22.00, accappatoio e asciugamai forniti dalla struttura. Personale fantastico: ci hanno regalato, il giorno della nostra partenza il late checkout. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo. Spero di tornare.

Il prezzo è più alto degli anni passati, ci sono un po' di mosche (inevitabile e assolutamente gestibile)

Ein paar kleine Küchendetsils fehlten zum kochen und leider waren die Betten für unseren Geschmack sehr hart.

Het uitzicht, het interieur en de ligging. Het vriendelijke personeel, het binnenzwembad.

Wij misten heel erg een buitentafel. Het was zo een mooi groot terras en er stonden enkel 2 plastieken stoelen. Ik heb dit ook gemeld aan de heel vriendelijke dame van de receptie. Maar blijkbaar zouden ze hier niet voor openstaan... dat vind ik wel heel spijtig want voor de rest was het op en top!

Super schöne Zimmer

Perfect location, near the bus stop, 2 minutes to the supermarket, 5 minutes to the village center. Apartments were super clean, the sauna and pool were really nice for relaxing in the evening. View from the room was really amazing!

Would be nice to have nets on windows in summer, as there were a lot of flies.

In één woord geweldige locatie, op loop afstand van de lift en eventueel de bus, mocht je ergens anders willen starten. Het uitzicht is fantastisch, magisch en geeft je het echte gevoel van de Alpen Het zwembad en de sauna zijn echt next level, alles wat je nodig hebt na een dag intensief skiën! Het allerlaatste is het personeel, van de dame aan de receptie, de housekeeping of de masseur…. Iedereen loopt met een grote glimlach en is ontzettend behulpzaam. Dikke 10+ Raymond

Very luxurious and beautiful chalet accommodation. There is garage parking right next to the apartment. We also appreciated the ski storage room, the wellness area and the great location, the ski lift and bus stop are very close. Communication and service were excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Die ruhige Lage. 5 Minuten zu Fuss zur der Gondel. Die gut ausgestattete Küche und 10 Kaffeekapseln.

Die Sauna ist sehr klein. Dafür ein grosses Schwimmbad. Parkplatz Gebühr finde ich nicht gut. Wer gerne auf weicheren Matratzen schläft sollte sich einen Toper mitbringen.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen! Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, der Lift ist wenige Minuten fussläufig

Personeel moest hard werken en had soms te weinig tijd om alle gasten naar hun zin te maken. Jammer, het gaf het gevoel dat de portemonnee van de gasten belangrijker was dan de beleving van de gasten

Dining: A table with only 3 chairs for 4 guests. Tech/Comfort: No smart TV (no streaming apps), no reading lights, and a severe lack of storage. Facilities: Only one bathroom. Location Note: Be aware that Obergurgl is primarily a hotel town. It is incredibly difficult to book restaurant tables during peak season if you aren't staying in a hotel with half-board.

schöner und Moderner Wellnesbereich mit großem beheiztem Pool. Gute Parkmöglichkeit in einer Garage. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und bemüht.

Die sind zur Zeit völlig überfordert. Wir haben keinerlei Infos bekommen bezüglich einchecken und Öffnungszeiten bezüglich Wellness und Pool. Keine Infos im Hotel oder Zimmer über WLAn. Der Fitnessraum war nicht auffindbar , da uns 3 Tage lang gesagt wurde, das steht alles im Aufzug. Am letzten Tag habe ich mir dann von der Managerin den Fitnessraum zeigen lassen. Sie konnte ihn zuerst auch nicht finden und dann stellte sich heraus das dieser Raum überal als Alpine Raum bezeichnet ist. Muss man wissen das der Fitnesraum in diesem Hotel Alpine Raum heist. Keine Infos das man im Moos Hotel gegenüber auch Frühstücken kann. Hätten uns nichr selbst versorgt und Lebensmittel mitgebracht, wenn wir das gewusst hätten. Müll wurde 4 Tage nicht aus den Zimmern entfernt. Am 3. Tag wurden einfach nur neue Mülltüten ins Zimmer gelegt aber der Müll nicht entsorgt. Das schlimmste sind aber die Betten. Viel zu hart und unbequem. Als ich es ansprach beim Auschecken wurde mir gleich gesagt ... ja wir wissen das schon. Die Kissen sind einfach mit Watte gefüllt. Wir hatten ein Appartment mit einem Schlafzimmer und einer ausziehbaren Schlafcouch für unsere Teenage Kinder. Das war das Letzte und Einfachste und Kleinste was man sich nur vorstellen kann. Bitte mietet so ein Apartment nur zu zweit, sonst werdet ihr es bereuen. Mein Sohn wollte schon im Wellnessbereich schlafen gehen. Wir werden diese Unterkunft in Zukunft meiden, da es einfach unprofessionel gemanagt wird. Ansonsten waren alle Mitarbeiter freundlich und wie gesagt der Pool ist super.

Das Apartment war sehr gemütlich, der Balkon, die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Das Pooll, Sauna sehr schön.

The beds were too hard.

Really lovely apartments with great facilities. The wellness suite is a massive bonus and we used this everyday. So nice to have a dip in a lovely warm pool after a day skiing. The view of the mountains from our apartment was breathtaking! Very well equipped kitchen for some self catering. Easy to talk to hosts via WhatsApp if you had any requests/issues. 100% recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

The property is conveniently located 2 mins from the skibus. 3 mins from shop and up to 10 mins from the centre of the town. Has got supberb swimming pool and sauna. On top of that on the slopes in Gurgl, there is materially less skiers than in Solden. Keep it to yourself, but Chalet in Obergurgl is a hidden gem.

If you do not like to do your breakfast, they will happily do that next door in the Moss hotel.

Very spacious and great location. Amazing spa

The two bedroom apartment was nice and it had a decent sized kitchen and a roomy kitchen table and tv area. The windows and doors was excellent quality.

The TVs are not smart so remember to bring an adapter if you want to watch movies. I was pretty disappointed with the maid service. They emptied the bins and folded the duvets and that was about all. They didn’t knock before entering so on 3 occasions we were in. To be fair we hadn’t put up Do Not Disturb signs but still… We were given one small thin towel and a hand towel each and these were not changed during our week there. The sheets weren’t even smoothed on the beds. Nothing was wiped down. At £6,000 for the week you’d expect better. Also our room was near the boot room so it was noisy so no alarm needed to go up skiing.

Service, or lack thereof. The place is set up to work almost without any staff. That is a nice dream, but it doesn’t really work, and definitely not at this price range. Have a problem? No one to help. Phone/Whatsapp? Nothing. Also, when there was stuff, it showed lack of experience. After letting us in into our room at half past noon, “sorry, but I can’t give you the keys up until 3PM (checking time) because my boss wouldn’t approve”. Hmm, oook. Also, pretty new, but some things don’t work, haven’t been fitted, like doors in kitchen cupboards, with the screws that weren’t screwed left there. And while the quality is good, if you are going to have a dishwasher, please a small set of dishwasher tablets. If I wanted to go shopping like if I was at home for every small need, I would stay at home ;)

The apartment was spectacular, very spacious and clean. Everyday cleaning service was very welcome. The location of the property is very convenient, 2 minutes from the ski bus and 4 minutes from the drag lift that takes you to the gondola. The spa area is fantastic.

We don't have any complaints. Our stay was very pleasant.

I would like to share my negative experience with Chalet Obergurgl Luxury Apartments. We had a holiday with 2 children: 6 and 5 years old, in the very season in February, so the prices corresponded to the level of expensive and prestigious mountain resorts, but, unfortunately, the level of apartments and service did not reach that level. We found out in advance that they do the cleaning every day, because we all have allergies. We have been assured that cleaning is made once per day and bed lined will be changed. Cleaning team came to us every day, but it felt like it was just for show, because the trash can was overflowing periodically, as if no one noticed it. Bed linen and towels were not changed. No one did anything in the bathrooms, they didn't wipe the floor. The most important - food. The restaurant is always fully booked, so they can't even accept their guests for dinner if you haven't booked table several weeks in advance. You will agree that it is very strange that at the hotel, the restaurant does not give priority to its own guests, and there is no Austrian tradition when they set a table for you. We knew the problem with catering in Austria, we reserved breakfast and dinner in advance and received a confirmation letter, because running around the city with small children in search for food is not the best activity. As a result, several times we were refused dinner, without explaining the reasons, they said that there were no seats, even though we had a letter confirming that dinner was ordered. This situation when we have been rejected for a dinner came together when our child got sick and we had to visit doctor. In the evening, our little girl fell asleep hungry and cried that she wanted pasta. Breakfast was at level of 2 stars hotel. The attitude of the personnel was like that they are missing staff, they all were very busy. We will never come back to this place again in our lives, and we do not recommend it to you!

Pool was lovely, well kept & a reasonable size for the size hotel. Room had all the necessary amenities & again well kept. Bedroom was well soundproofed even though we were right next to reception, couldn't hear anything when in the bedroom. Daily housekeeping for bins & loo roll check. Ski room was great with heated boot poles. Close proximity to supermarkets piste & small town. Ski bus stops very close to hotel. Though close, Scheiber ski shops offers ski storage for €3 per day per set for those lazy like me.

No negatives that I could think of.

The location is to die for, such a beautiful place. The apartment, what can I say other than it is amazing with long stretching views over the Alps

The only criticism would be that we couldn't log into our Netfilx account on any of the TV's and believe me this is a very small inconvenience.

Absolutely fantastic! Very nice hotel, great service and superb location. We have been here for one night, with my family. I don’t like to mention people in particular, but William at the reception was contacting me time to time while I was on my way to Obergurgl from Zakopane was giving me instructions which way to be fallow , great service! In general, I absolutely recommend this hotel and hope to be back.

The accommodation is in an excellent location, in a quiet, yet central location. The huge balcony offers a great view of the surrounding mountains, and the sunrise is also amazing. The apartment is perfectly equipped with quality appliances. I think the quality of the accommodation itself is easily 5-star, it has a fitness room, sauna, and a huge indoor pool. All levels can be reached by elevator! What is even more important to me than these is the attitude of the staff towards the guests. Whether it was to the Hungarian staff or to the others, everyone smiled, was kind and did an excellent job. The restaurant across the street has excellent food, the service is fantastic, the breakfast buffet is very tasty and varied, I felt at home. At this accommodation, in any season, I can find what I need to relax and spend quality time. The proximity of the surrounding "Hochalpenstrasse" is also an excellent center for hiking by car (Timmelsjoch, Stelvio Pass...) Thank you for this experience!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chalet Obergurgl Luxury Apartments with my two sons, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The location is truly magnificent, offering stunning views and easy access to surrounding attractions. The apartment itself was superbly equipped with everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. A standout feature for us was the exquisite spa zone, providing the perfect relaxation after a day out. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, adding to the overall positive vibe of our stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location, very nice during the summer holidays as there were not many people. No reservation needed for restaurants, no queues, a lot of charm, nature and fresh air to breathe for people who like to avoid the crowds. The views from our apartment were stunning, lots of walking trails available, easy to navigate. The lift took us up to the Hohe Mut Alm which has very nice views and great food. Views on the glaciers with trails going back to the village that are manageable for people with a moderate fitness level. We felt very much at home in Obergurgl and will try to come back. Biggest compliments for William who is doing a fantastic job at running the place and who is the most energetic and positive person we encountered. He has a unique quality of combining professionalism with establishing a personal connection to clients. Beate & Sammy

Breakfast did not meet the quality of the rest of the accommodation. Could be improved by offering freshly squeezed juice, fresh loafs of bread to cut, fruit salads, more quality cold cuts and cheese and greater choice of (healthy) cereals. I also think that the coffee could be improved.

The host was a very nice and helpful person. He was always available whenever we needed him and genuinely polite. The apartment was very luxurious and big, and the view was amazing.

Nice and big apartment in a big five-storey building. The apartment on the ground floor had a private big garden and three rooms each with its own bathroom, suitable also for different families in the same apartment. Nice gym with cyclettes and tapis roulants equipped with a fantastic software interface.

The choice of interior design pays the duty sometimes to practical aspects. No broom and dustpan, no vacuum cleaner, no micro-wave oven, few pots and pans (above all a grill pan), no tablecloth... At the reception there is nobody, only a phone number to call. Unfortunately the recorded message is only in German and it was not clear that the apartments are managed by the reception of the hotel across the street. Fortunately another client had the same experience and helped us to sort this out. Also not clear which parking places are private and which are available to guest (we have been requested to move the car when we were at dinner)

I live this property, it’s perfect in every way. We love self catering but this property has all the facilities of a 5* hotel. The pool is amazing and the owner is an absolute legend!

Great location, spacious & well equipped rooms, wonderful view. The restaurant across the street is a great place to dine and their pizza is very good.

Unfortunately, we had a room next to the private rooms of the employees and every time they were cooking our apartment was full of the smell which was unpleasant.

Great place to stay even for just a night. Lovely host and beautiful facilities. Super close to the nearest lift and beautiful views out of the rooms.

The apartment was very clean , good cooking facilities and plenty of room . Pool and spa facilities were of a very high quality. The apartment is also very well situated for both ski fields and the bus 😀
