The whole facility could use an update

Staff is very good humble yes

It’s not matter of like 1 - elevators (Lift) in bad conditions feel like any time incident happened when you go in lift it makes sound and always shaky till you reach your floor. 2 - tv is very old and very small size. 3 - if you ask extra water as they provide 33 mill 2 bottles for 24 hrs they demand extra money. 4 - room carpet is very bad condition looks 50 years old house keeping not use vacuums cleaners at all. 5 - Rooms light is not enough if you like light in room it not enough also no table lamp in room as normally all hotel room have it. Hope booking.com pass all issues to Birjaya mgmt. to address the issues.

I was given a noisy location. I was advised to be transferred next day but they never did.

bed is super low, room location is next to elevator, no amenities available other than toothbrush and soap.

Basically everything. It's noisy, the rooms stink like mildew & mold coming from the air conditioner. It's run down. They don't even provide face towels or washcloths I kept trying to upgrade & pay more for a better room & they wouldn't accommodate

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Venue: 5/5 Services: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Staff: 5/5 I have been to a lot of events in the past, but I have never experienced food this incredible paired with staff this warm, genuine, and truly caring. What struck me most was how willingly they assisted us even when they were already tired from the event, that kind of dedication and heart is truly rare these days and does not go unnoticed. It was so easy and pleasant to talk to our handler, Mr. Ken. He was kind, patient, accommodating, and made the entire planning process feel effortless and stress free. His attentiveness and professionalism honestly made a huge difference. This was also the first time I got to actually meet the chef behind the event. We met him during food tasting and again on the day itself, and you could really feel the passion, skill, and pride he pours into every single dish. That same excellence and care showed in everything that came out of the kitchen, from presentation to taste. I truly hope Berjaya becomes known not just as an excellent hotel, but as a hotel with truly outstanding, world class food. If you are planning an event here, do not forget to add the beef rendang to your menu, it is so rich, flavorful, and authentic it feels like you flew straight to Malaysia just to taste it. The hotel itself was cool, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, the event space was stunning and elegant, and the room was spacious, clean, and inviting. Every staff member we encountered had a smile on their face and treated us with so much respect and hospitality, and that positive energy made the whole experience even more memorable and special. Given the chance, I would choose Berjaya again and again for my next event without hesitation. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a venue that delivers excellence on every level, from ambiance to service to truly unforgettable food. A wonderful experience from start to finish, and one I will definitely be talking about for a long time.

Location is good, and very close to the spots

The place is very old and smells old cabinet. One alarming thing are the staff of the hotel. They are very rude, racist and homophobic. They treat us differently from the moment we checked in.

From our arrival to Berjaya Hotel Makati, the bell hops ,front desk, wait and dining staff were all kind, courteous, and hospitable. The Berjaya Hotel Staff were all wonderful in their efforts to make our stay at Berjaya Hotel and visit to the Philippines a pleasant and memorable experience for us to enjoy and remember. The friendly, calm, and pleasant demeanor of employee Mark Aaron Tendido is a true representation of the Mabuhay hospitality and welcoming spirit of the Filipino people. With humility and gratitude for a great hotel accommodation experience.

That the Main Dining area on the second level is only open for breakfast. Evening dining is confined to the small space on the ground level which is at times overcrowded with human traffic. Such set-up encourages dining outside the facility.

Great location restaurants and shopping malls are nearby, Chill atmosphere and the rooms are also Nice and Comfortable, Highly recommended!!

I really didn’t enjoy the breakfast it was very basic and bland for Filipino food. Also it would have helped if the food was kept in working heating trays I’d was Luke warm at best I rather eat somewhere else

Where do I start….when we entered the hotel the lobby smelled like musty carpet, I didn’t feel safe using the elevators they rattle and bounce a lot. The middle elevator stopped one time before it actually reached the 8th floor coming down it stopped about 6inches above the intended floor and the doors opened. The room is very outdated very dark at night there is no ceiling mounted light only 4 lamps, so the room is very shadowy. There was only two working outlets in the room, so we had to choose between charging our phones and having light from the lamps. If you open the curtains the people in the apartment next door are literally looking in your window and staring. The breakfast buffet was 4/10 stars the actual buffet was terrible, if cheap chicken franks and cold sweet chilli cream dori (fish) are your thing you might like it. I gave it 4 stars because we were able to get and omelette and pancakes made to order but they to were 4/10 stars. The pool is so cold it takes your breath away and the chlorine was very strong. I strongly recommend looking around, there are much nicer places for less money. We are in Makati often and this has been our worst stay so far.

Aircon very weak, nakahubad na Ako natulog pero ang hina ng aircon, room has a negative vibe and bigat ng pakiramdam ko parang may nagmumulto na hindi maintindihan

I've been this hotel valued clients for at least more or less 2 years and I could highly guaranteed that they truly value all their guess. I really admire their Front Office Manager Sir Den for always attending to my needs and request. He really trained well all their staff starting from the bottom up to their FO personnel. All their staff are very respectful accommodated and always available to attend to your needs like Ms. Velle who is one of their FO staff. It wouldnt be possible if they are not lead by a competent leader so i guess for me Sir Den is really an asset of this hotel as for a guess like me it matters to me how the staff treat the guess, aside from that their security is very strict which ensures safety for everyone. I've tried all their rooms and I would say that it was very cozy and luxurious feels all my friends who i brought their was really amaze to see it. Thats why for a traveller like me if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel but wants to feel the cozy luxurious feelings dont look any farther here in Makati there is a hotel who can provide that and that is none other than Berjaya. So if you want to feel at home only Berjaya can give you the feeling of being at home while in a hotel so for me nothing beats Berjaya.

The cost was reasonable and the staff is very pleasant. My room was slightly outdated but comfortable. Wi-Fi was usual dependable. The hotel is near many restaurants and the entertainment area.

Room was extra large, location was fine as was the breakfast. This hotel is probably a little under-rated which it doesn't deserve. Perhaps a update here and there would help but in general good value for money.

When I was there one of the elevators wasn't working which just happened to a coincide with a conference being held at the same time which for a short time ie 7.30am to 8.30am meant a short wait. Certainly nothing to worry about.

The location.

Cockroach in the room. WiFi did not work in the bedroom of the suite. Noisy even on the 15th floor.

The location in the heart of Makati, for the night life as for some, but i liked all the restaurants and food choices around, very kind and professional staff headed by FOM Salvador “Den”. His excellent staff Benji, front office ladies, Restaurant staff, Houskeeping, and Security…..

Nothing much, the property is old but renovated the staff make up for the shortcomings.Traffic is a bit of a challenge in that location
