The refurbished bedrooms. We had stopped staying here because it had all been looked rather tired. Very pleased with the improvements.

It was easy to find. The staff were friendly. The bedroom was a good size and the bed comfy. Coffee making facilities were very welcome after travelling all day. Parking was good. I think the decor had been updated so it was quite modern. The bar and restaurant meant we didn't have to drive into town to find food and drink when we were tired. The meal, basque chicken, with green beans and chips was very good and ample. There were plenty of other options on the buffet.

The 'garden view' was disappointing. It was actually a fir hedge 2ft from the window, which made the room dark. Although it was nice and cool on a very hot day. The toilet had a mark in the bowl. The bath was very narrow and a bit treacherous when standing in the shower over it, and it creaked. The location was to the north of Alencon on a trading estate with parked lorries and there was nowhere nice to go for a walk.

The location. Very friendly staff. The food served was good quality, and having a restaurant on site was a big plus.

The toilet cistern had a continuous drip, which was annoying and disturbed my sleep. My French is poor, so I didn't mention it at the time, but overall my stay was very good.

The self service buffet was very good. My room was clean. I stayed here going to UK & returning a week later, to break a long journey. It is a popular stopover.

I had written in advance to request a table for supper. I was told that it was not necessary. But on arrival, at about 18.00h, there were no tables left, so I had to take room service instead, which I had to collect.

Goede ligging t.o.v. de autoweg. De keuze voor half pension was goed. Ontbijt prima. Bed uitstekend, avondeten was genoeg keuze. Vriendelijke ontvangst bij de receptie. Parkeren bijna voor de deur.

Voor een overnachting viel niets tegen. Rustig gelegen!

We had a room and meal package, the dinner and breakfast were very good with a nice variety of a la carte and buffet options. the room was fine and the bed was comfortable. hot drink machine was good and coffee was decent quality.

Everything was up to and above the standard I expected for the cost, it was the second Campanile we used on thistrip and both were great.

An excellent overnight stop with the dogs, clean, comfy and lots of green space.

Le petit déjeuner... Assez pauvre en variétés de fruits, pains... Et la terrasse extérieure n'était pas top... Pas assez d'espace entres les tables.

This is a very convenient stop for us. Unfotunately we have have twice (over 2 visits) had to request a change of room. . We seem to be put in rooms starting with 400+.They are the furthest away from the reception and restaurant. They are very dark, no idea if it's a sunny day or not due to dense hedge outside, but worst of all you cannot park outside the room and it is quite a walk with heavy luggage. I am disabled with a blue badge so it's difficult. On our last visit yet again room in the 400 + .(402?405? can't remember) but I was just too tired this time to protest. So on this trip I booked to stay in Le Mans instead

It was a great location if en route to Southern France. Easy access and the people are very friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant on site which is very friendly and serves good food.

The location is rural despite it being in an industrial area on a Saturday and Sunday you would not know this.

The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated.

Poor access to outside drinking area. Staff generally not helpful. Evening meal ok, had to ask for desserts to be replenished as there was none left. Staff had little English when I queried the bill. I left feeling I had been told off. Breakfast varied enough.

Check in lady was so efficient and helpful. She helped sort the pull down bed and to get booked in for breakfast. Breakfast was SUPERB and the next I’ve seen in this type of budget hotel. Amazing selection and efficient replenishment of food. Great location too.

Prima bed, goede douche (weliswaar in bad, lastige instap als je wat ouder of niet goed ter been bent). Goed ontbijt, voldoende keus. Makkelijke locatie wanneer je onderweg bent en een betaalbare plek voor een nacht zoekt.

Being super critical the bath/shower is very tight for a larger guy. The beer on draught is awful. Stick to bottles.

The room was very clean, the bed was large and very comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast at the hotel . The evening meal was excellent with good choices available. The breakfast was also very good and we would have liked to linger longer over it but had to leave early to reach our destination. The staff were very efficient , welcoming snd kind.

As I said the bed was large and dominated the room and therefore if staying for several nights it might feel a bit cramped. We were staying as a stopover on our way home so it was not a problem.

Vloer was vies.2 Meter op blote voeten gelopen en mn voeten warrn zwart. Vrij recent gerenoveerd, maar kijk niet in de wc pot.Voor t oog netjes, maar onder de rand....bah.
