Instructions for gaining entry to the car park and the hotel (as reception is closed on Sundays) very clear and provided in good time. Good breakfast.

No air-conditioning in the room (but fortunately it wasn't a hot night). There was a large fan in the room.

This was our second stay. We chose it for the location and the secure parking.

It was an extremely hot day, and our room was on the side of the hotel which had faced the sun all day. The room did not have air conditioning, and it was like an oven. There was one small fan, but no effort had been made to air the room before our arrival, and it was very unpleasant. Of lesser concern, there was only one towel in the room, no coffee cups, 1 coffee pod, 1 breakfast teabag and 1 mint teabag. It all felt very mean, and when we asked for cups and another towel the reaction was not in the least apologetic ... it was more disbelief.

Lovely reception for us and the dog!! Rooms are simple but clean and practical. Good secure parking.

Secure parking within a nice self-contained garden, which was perfect for the dog. Easy to reach from the motorway.

No fridge in the room. Only 3 pillows. Breakfast was ok, but a bit limited.

The location was good. Although there was no restaurant we were advised of places to eat. Friendly reception. Good parking on site. Nice garden to relax in.

The bathroom was a bit tired, it was a hot night and only a small fan.

It is always a pleasure to stay at Des Ducs and this was no exception. Up to the usual standard with the bonus of another meal at Chez Fano, a restaurant 600 metres away. Secure parking always a bonus. Breakfast is simple but adequate and it was a pleasure to greet the proprietor again.

Great over night stay. When we arrived in our room there was a present for our little dog - what a wonderful gesture. Very friendly hotel, good breakfast and very dog friendly.

Das Zimmer war sehr solide und praktisch, ohne hypermodern sein zu wollen. Der Emofang war sehr freundlich und rücksichtsvoll (langsames, deutliches Sprechen, was für uns als ausländische Gäste eine Hilfe war. Die parkplatzsituation im Innenhof war sehr komfortabel.

The location was good and it was great to have a secure car park within the property accessed via a sliding door. The staff were very friendly and were able to recommend some places to eat a short walk from the hotel. Given the location opposite the station it was surprisingly quiet at night. The room was comfortable if a little quirky and there was a good shower.

There’s no lift to the upper floors which may be a problem for older guests. Also the hotel is apparently not open on Sundays which seems rather odd - it didn’t worry me but again it may affect others.

Personnel sympathique et arrangeant L'hôtel est très propre et bien isolé de l'extérieur. Malgré que l'hôtel est situé directement en face de la gare et près d'un carrefour, nous entendions pas de bruit extérieur.

Entre les chambre, l'isolation est un peu moins bonne.

Stationnement dans grande cour privative de l'hôtel. Véhicule à l'abri. La chambre bien insonorisée donnant pourtant sur une rue. Chambre spacieuse, très bien aménagée et équipée. Connexion wi-fi gratuite. Le petit déjeuner très apprécié avec des produits frais, locaux. Petit déjeuner varié, avec du choix. Un accueil très sympathique des gérants, très disponibles, souriants, dans la communication et le conseil. Vraiment merci pour votre disponibilité et gentillesse.

Very friendly host, Sebastian was there to greet us. What a guy, couldn't do enough for us. Very secure free parking, great for our motorcycles. . Even though you are near the train station, it is so quite. Bottom line would we recommend & stay again? Oh yes, we had a very pleasant stay in Alencon, Thank You Sebastian 👍👍

Hotel des Ducs is an outstanding place to stay. We had a beautiful, comfortable room at a very reasonable price. The reception was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Highly recommended.

My wife has a challenge with her back. As a result we always make some requests regarding the room to ensure the issue is not made worse and also to assist the hotel in the case of an emergency Over the last year we have stayed in a about 30 hotels and not a single hotel has made an effort to satisfy these requests. However, the Hotel des Ducs surpassed themselves and provided exactly what we asked for, and it was all set up when we arrived . Our thanks to the team. The hotel is now a must have stop through France.

Das Hotel ist super leicht zu erreichen und im Innenhof steht ein großzügiger Parkplatz kostenlos zur Verfügung. Ausgewählt habe ich das Hotel, weil es schöne große Zimmer anbietet. Bei der Ankunft hatten wir ein äußerst informatives und lustiges Gespräch mit dem Patron des Hauses. Da fühlt man sich gleich sehr willkommen. Die Altstadt ist in fußläufiger Nähe und durchaus sehenswert. Viele gute Lokale zum Speisen.

The hotel was in a good location. It was clean, but the decor was tired and could do with updating Our room was comfortable and large with disabled access which was important as there were no lifts. On-site parking was a bonus.

Very noisy with thin walls. The neighborhood was not comfortable for walking alone or after dark. Local bar across street had multiple clients early in the morning. Poorly stocked coffee service in the room.

El personal muy atento, tener parking interior es estupendo y el desayuno está justo pero rico.

Sin embargo la habitación ( el baño en concreto se nota muy antiguo y con suciedad en la ducha) las toallas de ducha muy pequeñas, me parece caro en la relación calidad y precio.

L'accueil était jovial et chaleureux, c'était fort sympathique. Les lits sont très confortables, bien plus que dans beaucoup d'autres hôtels. Le parking clos est un plus non négligeable également.

Parfait, bonne literie, bonne isolation phonique extérieur ainsi qu avec les chambres voisines. Propriétaire très agréable. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Really lovely hotel. This was a last minute booking and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely big bed, air conditioned, clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and fresh!

Gorgeous large room with plenty of space and parking outside. Only a short 20 min walk into town with loads to see and places to eat. Also, had to be the best breakfast in all of our trip. 😋

Good communication from the hotel, to explain access, key, parking. The room was quiet, the bed very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is ample. The most important thing for me was to have sécure parking as I had a car full of valuables.

Good location near the train station and bus depot and nearby Carrefour market and gas station. Nearby restaurants within walking distance including Chez Fano. Room had comfortable bed and pillows. Off street private parking area was convenient and secure. Staff was friendly and efficient, and assisted in securing dinner reservation. Breakfast started early at 6:45 AM and included typical assortment of breads, croissants, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee machine. Overall good value.
