Peppers Clearwater Resort

The location was great a small trip to anywhere. We did have a washer and dryer for a stay which was very handy. The view on the deck and balcony was beautiful watching all the wild life.

Room was pretty good actually. Well appointed and tastefully furnished. Kitchens were great and the roll out bed easy to use.

The entry stairs are non compliant and as such dangerous. You have to walk down sideways not to catch the back of your heel. The window between bathroom and master was interesting. OK for a couple perhaps but when you have a third guest a little weird. We noted a blind had been removed which would have been better to have. The TV's were good but not smart enabled so no netflix available. But SKY was appreciated.

The bathroom was terrible. It had mold everywhere I complained to management and said this particular unit needed shutting down and specialist mold people need to come in and deal with it. Also one heater didn’t work the range hood didn’t work and the Nespresso machine leaked water everywhere.

booking.com stated there was a microwave in the room but there wasn't and no room for one. the 2 chairs in the room were not matching and neither were comfy

We loved our stay at Peppers Clearwater Resort, we had a big room, very clean, huge bed and lovely views, we would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend this Resort.

Lovely, quiet and comfortable place to be at a day conference. The food in the restaurant was great, good bar and friendly hard-working staff. Would have liked time for golf...

The bathroom in the room in the room is a bit odd, weird hand sink with low faucet that you can't get your hands under normally to wash. Also the bath and shower kind of together but not is a bit different. We didn't have a car so the walk to reception and the restaurant doesn't have a path, you have to walk along the roadway.

Better to upgrade a smart TV

I had a bath which’s was fine when I filled the bath tub but, as I was emptying it water started to come from the bottom of the bath once I had taken a look at the issue the pipes underneath the bath tub weren’t connected so I had to lift it up and connect them myself.

From the moment we arrived, the property was breathtaking. The staff, especially Justin, went out of their way for us. We arrived early & that wasn’t a problem, nothing seemed a problem. Exceptional service we are definitely coming back again!

Next door to us, had long term tenants/owners that had a dog & they made parking difficult with their vehicles.

The views are what you pay for, most definately

The decor is quite tired, the TV in bedroom made such a crackling noise you couldn't watch it

Great staff, beautiful refurbished room, the Outlook over the lake and golf course to the mountains is stunning. The coming and goings from the airport and bird life in the lake are entertaining. It's simply a place of relaxation that definitely has an X factor.

There were a few maintenance issues with a newly refurbished room we didnt expect, we pointed the issues out to management who were very grateful for our feedback. We are adaptable people and the issues did not take away from our enjoyment of our stay, we look forward to returning in August.

Loved the fact we had access to a small deck at the level of the lake Bed really comfortable. Nice selection of teas and the coffee machine was great

AC not really warm enough for me (it was a cold night) Would have loved to have had access to a heated pool or gym facilities... but not available at this hotel

The setting is so pretty and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining was lovely and delicious. The bed was soooo comfortable and the room was sunny and warm.

The furniture was a bit old and tired. The TV channel programmes weren't operating.

Lovely resort. Easy to get to the Airport. Breakfast options are good. Good walking tracks if you are not a golfer.

As each unit is individually owned, its a pity there doesnt seem to be a minimum standard for owners to adhere too. Our Lakefront Villa had no outdoor furniture, where others did, so we could not sit outside in the sun. Kitchen was a full size kitchen which lacked basic cooking utensils. Only bare minimum and no basic condiments ( salt, pepper, oil, paper towel etc which we had in a other room type previously. So you would have to go and buy it all just to cook.

There were no mugs for coffees in the morning and some ants on the deck and a couple came inside.

Love the peace and tranquility of the lake side suite, the staff are absolutely brilliant, even a complimentary bubbly and sweet on a Friday when we arrived.

It's not the cheapest luxury apartment compared to other water front places we stay at but it does have an X factor that we like.

The location was beautiful and well situated.

The kitchen area was missing key items such as dish washing soap and sharp knives. Also, the amount of steps in the apartment was not mentioned. This made it difficult for my elderly mother to enjoy the place.

We loved the view it was amazing felt like we were in another country. Also liked the fact there restaurant accommodated us with a table and the food was fantastic We were here for our honeymoon 😍

The only things I was say would be the room wasn't clean was very dusty and dead bugs on the bathroom vanity kitchen cups and wine glasses were dirty. Also hearing the dog next door bark a bit.

An excellent location overlooking the golf course coupled with a good restaurant providing a relaxing stop for travellers.

Some of the rooms and hotel environments are in need of general repairs and maintenance for a premium product.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Close to the airport and restaurants was a plus but is private area so not any traffic around you.

This hotel is very lovely, the suites are stunning and have great decor! Me and my partner loved the rooms. It was a shame the staff seemed reserved and judgmental. Not to mention two members who worked in the bar were just gossiping about other workers and we heard a lot about their lives, how rude they were and what they thought about customers. We did feel judged and not great but the rooms were amazing and a good break away. Not worth it if you’re not staying in the lodges or suite rooms. Wouldn’t call this much of a “luxury” hotel

The restaurant food was superb very well cooked with great staff. Very good value. I could not fault the venue.

Too many stairs 😆

Our stay was wonderful. Our apartment was well presented and clean. Our balcony over the lake and overlooking the golf course was relaxing. We ate breakfast at Lume - this was lovely and staff were very attentive. My partner played golf and loved the course -the booking process was easy (it was organised weeks prior to arrival).

Great room and the whole resort in a very pleasant location

While the complex is beautifully laid out and offers an excellent golf experience, we thought the accommodation was underwhelming. As we arrived at night, finding our way from the reception building to our room was frustrating as you need to navigate a dimly lit and poorly signed road which branches to other roads. The parking outside the room was ok but we had a large vehicle next to us so that was tight. We then had a large flight of stairs leading to the room to carry our suitcases up so if you have mobility issues this is a problem. The room was fine with a lovely access down to the lake but could do with some upgrading. Bed was great but air-conditioner was noisy and one lamp was damaged. The shower was excellent. Housekeeping was fine for our room. Annoyingly, the people in the room next to us with a deck were very noisy with their talking around 2am so the hotel should be making guests aware of noise after 10pm. Breakfast in the restaurant was pleasant with good options. Would have preferred a buffet option for ease though. We didn’t try the restaurant for dinner. We also asked for a time extension on checkout to our room to 11am but when accessing after 10am the access card didnt work but was rectified quickly. If you want a great golf experience, the course is very good, the golf shop was excellent and there are nice walks around the complex but the accommodation is not up to par for the price you pay.

The services; food and overall ambiance is very good. The lake view rooms are excellent. The hotel is comparatively near to the airport but away from city, however if you want a quite stay in a luxury property this should be a first choice. I checked in at around 1.00 AM without any issue. Getting UBER also at this very odd hour from airport is not an issue. The rooms are spacious and has everything you need. I would really love to stay here again.
