The Grandview at Las Vegas

Great quiet,safe and clean location, close enough to the strip yet removed.

A few missing kitchen items (spatula, coffee pot, fourth plate). Coffee pot was provided upon request.

I was in building 8 and I could see names on other buildings but it was terrible trying to find “Jasmine”. I can’t even imagine if someone was disabled. Just a terrible map with no true entrance. Door dash can’t find it and check out is 10am, just weird

Absolutely loved the suites we booked and all the considerations for everything we would possibly need for our stay already there for us. Suite was so clean and spotless. We loved the kids splash pad for my son to play in… we had so much fun. Getting a shuttle from our building to the front of the property to go to southpoint was so amazingly thoughtful. We thought we would miss not staying on the strip in a casino but honestly it felt like we missed nothing at all. From checking in to every interaction in between every part of the staff was so sweet and so awesome. They really made it feel like we were staying at someone’s home or with the family.

Just a couple discrepancies that honestly might be a deal breaker if we stay in the future. There was lots of people all over property smoking weed. And we would have to cover my son’s mouth and nose to walk past them. One of the main reason we didnt stay on the strip was because my son has lung diease has a hard time breathing in the casinos. We spent our last night at the main pool but before getting into the pool I notice it was dirty with a lot of debris and up a closer look there was vomit as well. I asked one of the staff that was with the towels and they looked very bother but I believe I was bio hazard. We did not end up swimming on that side of the pool and that really put a bit of the damper on the rear of the night because from the photos the pool looked nice and peaceful but both water falls were off. Also when were coming back from dinner at south point there was tons of cops and ambulances and this was because of a fight between other guests. While we were shuttle driving to the front we heard more yelling and cussing… another fight had about to start. And I overheard one of the people had a gun, I understand that This state is open carry, but I think it was so scary that they were fighting next to the pool that we were just in. I was Informed that this is a reoccurrence on this property and that it is making me doubt if we will ever rebook because me and my family loved this place so much and on the first day we had sent out a mass text to all our friends and family that are planning to come that they should stay there.

The location. The staff in the little coffee shop restaurant by the pool, they are SO nice! I liked my room's configuration.

This was my 5th time staying here and it was my favorite but it has really gone downhill. Service was TERRIBLE. Staff was dismissive and unresponsive. I had to wash towels and go by toilet tissue and paper towels because they never brought them even though the automated system kept saying, "delivered". The t.v. signal kept going out. Game room not available, no discount on price even though amenities weren't complete. Toilets too low and my room was supposedly ADA compliant and it was tiny and low just like the other unit. I have fond memories of Grandview but sadly, I don't think I will be booking them again.

The place was big, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Was easy to book/Saturday and last minute plan. The room was clean and roomy.

The incident that my family and I encountered in the parking structure was a terrible experience. A man beating up a woman in the car. The lady was completely naked, he was kicking her on the ground. The situation make us feel very unsafe, plenty of security workers. but no one around that area. The situation could easily turned a nightmare. Luckily this man did not carry a gun, we could have ended up dying during a family trip. We had to hide in our car and call the police ourselves. We ended up trapped in a horrible situation. Hopely someone read this review.

I love that it's a close drive to the strip. The pools are great and we loved playing mini golf with our son. It's also convenient that you have shuttles to take you from building to building. It's also walking distance to a casino.

I love this property. It's the second time we've stayed here. We book the suites because we have a big family and the rooms are big enough for us.

We liked everything except for that there was no pool in our section and we were in building 9 but I know they're building one so that is awesome no other issues

The staff were all very friendly and helpful! The room was very clean with a great view! The pool was great and the outside grounds were beautiful! We rented a car so it was in a very convenient location to drive to places. We were very satisfied with our stay!

THE NOISE!!! Holy cow. Each room has a jet tub, and when a neighbor above, below, next door fills theirs up, the NOISE fills up the entire suite! Can't even have a conversation. Hope you don't like sleeping in! And they think after staying here someone would want to buy a time share? No way. And parking is horrible. Won't be back.

This is our 2nd stay here. I like that the rooms are big with a stocked kitchen. Its clean with a friendly staff.

The drink vending machine was out of water or just did not dispense and it only took card not cash. I also did not like that I had to park on the street the second night. No parking in overflow or garage. There was someone with a boat who took up six parking spaces? Did he pay extra for those? Because I believe when I booked, it said I would get a parking spot.

That it was off the strip

I didn’t enjoy having to keep going to the front desk or calling them to come fix my key cards.. along with changing the batteries and the keys still not working. It ruined my last night stay

Smelled like sewage in our room, ac didn't work, plumbing was bad, they had roaches. Our keys weren't working we had to sit out in the hallways and wait for security to open our doors, had us sitting there almost an hour.

It was spacious and convenient. I loved the bath tub and the bathroom set up.

Housekeeping didn't do a good job I had to clean when I checked in there were thing from the previous guest left under chairs and things left in the washing machine

The parking situation was very bad. Coming back And trying to find parking was impossible even parking garage was full. We had to park on the street clear at the beginning of the property and walk clear back to our building 6

The comfort of our unit

A sewage smell coming from the bathroom after we did a load of laundry. It lasted a couple of hours but we were going to bed, so didn’t notify the property. Also, no forks and only one teaspoon in the silverware drawer. This wasn’t an issue as we only needed spoons and my husband always uses the big spoon.

Very cozy

The location was perfect for me since I was bowling a Military Bowling Tournament at South Point. I was able to walk across the street and be at my destination. All the staff I met were friendly and professional, giving me the sense that they were happy to have me there. Even though Las Vegas was treating everyone like meat in a convection oven at the time, we had a very good time. We will definitely return in the future.

The Vegas heat was nothing to smile about. But you cannot control Mother Nature. That's it.

Rooms are great it feels just like home, I asked for a 1st floor room and they were able to do that for me. the main lobby staff are very accommodating and very professional and I love the locations of the grills and pools.

The cardio equipment was okay but the fitness room was surprisingly small and the exercise equipment was outdated and half of it was either broken or worn-out.

This is a must stay for couples. No resort fees or parking fees. What a relief. The Grandview has brought me back to Vegas baby!

Pretty good experience at a discounted rate except for the bed—mattress old and uncomfortable! This is a decent resort with huge rooms—but try to get a new mattress situation.

No filtered water or even ice machine available which is disappointing for such a hot location . Water from tap in rooms is supposedly safe to drink but had odd metallic taste to it. I think the type of floors they have, sort of like a porous clay tile, are difficult to clean but it seems like housekeeping did their best . Property is definitely a but further from the strip compared to other south-of-the-strip options in the vicinity but the Southpoint complex has a lot to offer and near lots of neighboring businesses . There was also some confusion regarding text communications that were being sent to me as soon as I made the booking through here. I communicated about it through booking.com Messaging directly with the property, called the hotel’s customer service , and even talked to them in person about it when I checked in. While most staff insisted the communications weren’t coming from grandview and to ignore them, the texts seemed very consistent with updates about the hotel and my stay. Upon checking out I noticed the exact number from which these texts were sent posted clearly in our building’s main entrance as a way of communicating with the Grandview management team. Maybe some consistency in training would help cut down on the confusion .

The vents was caked with dust and when you walked into the building the lobby smelled like urine. I used my 5 star timeshare points to stay there never again.

We love this property the problem was we had 4 adults and there was no bedding for the second bed we called to get it and waited two hours it never came. I told them to cancel the request we were going to bed and at 2 in the morning someone came with it and we were all asleep. They didn’t get the hint and came back a second time and were rude about it.

Clean, well kept property with all the amentites as well as a great location near I15 as well as an easy walk to the Southpoint Casino Hotel.

Great locations, especially if you have an event at southpoint. Pool was nice too. Kitchen was stocked.

We went down for a couples trip and had a great time. The rooms were very nice and supplied us with everything we needed. It was a great experience.

Everything about the Grandview was excellent. I just wanted to be a little closer in walking distance to South Point, but overall I would recommend this hotel to my family.

Clean and spacious rooms, so many pools but the kiddie pool with the giant chess game was amazing. Staff was kind and courteous check in was a breeze! Plenty of parking, and lots of luggage carriers available.

Only issue was after pre-registering I was directed to go to a certain line to make check in faster. That line was closed but it wasn’t too much of an issue due to there being two other people in line before me. So check in went pretty fast anyway
