We always stay here and will be back in a week for 2 nights….

My go to away from the strip

Overall a decent hotel, priced right (midweek) Spa has nice specials. Wasn't impressed with restaurants, including buffet. WAY, WAY to much casino cig smoke really ruins the gambling experience.

CLEAN ROOM

This Resort had all the amenities that you needed. We just don’t gamble so we were a little bored during the day. There were no umbrellas by the pool. The night time show we went to was Awesome “The Bronx Wanderers”

I have stayed at South Point for various conferences in the past, and was glad to see it was still an affordable alternative to the strip, with some of the best check-in (3PM) and check-out (12PM) hours. Great option if you've come to town with your own transportation. I also really appreciate that the WiFi is simply available, without passwords or device limits. The pools/hot tubs are great, though I wish they stayed open past 8PM. The room was spacious, and surprisingly quiet. Tip: there are stairs, but located a distance from the elevators, and unlabeled. Will definitely keep this on the short list for visits to Vegas.

First time in this hotel I recomend it

If you arrive even minutes before 2pm check in, they will charge $25 to check you in even if they have rooms available. They make you wait until 2 pm or charge you $25. Beware of 3rd floor rooms, outside your window is the employee outside lounge area and they can be quite loud at all hours of the day with dragging heaters and outdoor furniture around to arrange and rearrange where they sit on their break

Didn't use the shuttle service. The salt water pool was fantastic.

Nice Hotel, still geting some items fixed. But everyone was nice and friendly.

It was just OK for the price. The food was mediocre, but what I needed at the time as I was nursing a hangover. The first room I went into was not very clean. There was some stuff on the carpet, but they quickly moved me to another room and I was satisfied.

Okay there was one problem the room after we came back from breakfast smelt like sewer should be looked at thank you

I was only there one night they put me on the 3rd floor facing a blank wall there was no view at all felt a bit miffed !!!!

This hotel has a bowling alley, movie theatre and bingo.

Didn't use the spa. Room was was spacious and clean. Great service at the hotel.

Rooms are nice and pool area are also nice the only thing I didn’t like was the elevator they took a while and one side was not working

Nice property good food

Everything was good except for the showers. The water was so strong that you cannot spray your face because it hurts. The shower doors are installed so awkward that it is very inconvenient when initially trying to turn it on without getting wet with cold water.

One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at!

Top notch resort. Will stay there again in the future.

Front desk is very nice and accommodating. Great scenic view of the lake out back. Property is dated so be aware. Overall we'd stay there again

Never visited the pool area. It could use more features ex; Mandalay Bay’s Lazy River, to attract more than a one night stay. Left the property a day early, because of this reason…., boring

Attempting to sit down and play a machine While people on both sides were blowning so much smoke in my face I couldn't play. Phoenix has a no smoking in casino regulation, that is not keeping anybody out. Please re-evaluate.

Bed was uncomfortable.

I’ve gambled at Southpoint Casino many times and I’ve had a wonderful time! However, this time we decided to stay there in addition to playing bingo and gambling. The reason why I have given it such an overview is that my wallet was stolen! We suspect plucked out of my purse as we waited in the large crowds for the elevators. The lost and found staff were just OK and assisting with this problem. There was one young man who genuinely seemed to care, the the rest, meh. My wallet was returned, with all the cash taken and that seems to be where the helping identify who stole it ended. Womp womp. I’ll come back to South point at some point, but there are many many places to spend money, where it won’t be taken right of my purse.

The gym was very equipped but the spa was the best and very affordable at $30.00 daily or $60,00 for 3 day pass. The spa staff treated you like royalty!!

Room is spacious, however, after stating at check in that we were interested in daily housekeeping, they did not clean our room after our first night and were disappointed in that.

It was great to have a coffee maker and pods in the room but we didn’t have any water like in previous stays. Also our coupon books were missing pages.

Our room was cleaned everyday - outdoor pool is perfect. Lots of lounge chairs - the artificial turf is great for keeping your feet comfortable in the heat.

Customer service was great at checking and checking out. Room was clean.

My only complaint was dealing with the smoking while attempting to get to my room. Once on my room floor,,, Was Wonderful! I do wish tv movies were free of charge. However, overall it was a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend South Point as a top 7 places to stay

Great room great price. Did not like that had to use Bell service to get my things to room. I did self park. LONG way to get to my car from Hotel.

The room was nice and the restaurant was excellent. Could not breathe on the main floor because of all the cigarette smoke.

Rooms were wonderful, I love that the hotel offered family fun (movies, bowling). I loved the variety of restaurants. I felt safe. I love that security was doing room card checks.

Always a safe bet staying at South Point. Our go to destination when visiting LV.

Super fast an efficient checkin. Hotel ioom was in TOP shape.

First of all was surprised at how far from the airport it was but very happy to have the shuttle service. You have to pick it up in terminal 1 but he dropped me back in terminal 3. First room I was given was awful. Looking into a wall. Dark and gloomy on 3rd floor. Called down and told it was $10 for a view room. Fine. Then I asked if that would be my Expedia vip upgrade and they said no but didnt end up charging me after all. The place is HUGE and busy. Rooms are large and clean but everything smells a bit smoky to me. Doors bang in the hall way. Lots of restaurant choices. And best of all for me, a non gambler, there was a full movie theatre. So I hopped up there and spent a couple of hours. If you like gambling and want to be out of the busy strip, this is an option.

The property have everything such as bowling, theatre, good selection of restaurants, sports betting and horse racing, and the bedrooms are excellent.

Rooms are outdated. Wifi non-existent. Found hairs in shower. Food at restaurants ok, but pretty generic. Overall disappointing considering the reviews

Everything was good

I had reserved a King Premium room with view. What i was given was a King Room for ADA handicap which had limited space on bathroom counter and a bench in shower. We ended up not using shower. Also, furniture outdated. Also jewelry purchased in Moab was missing from bag left in car after valet parking. Disappointing considering the reviews.

I think the fees are too high, especially the ‘resort fees’. Amenities such as high speed internet should be included in this day and age.

Many amenities are available- restaurants, pool, gym,etc. I don't like the smokey smell in the casino.

The staff is very friendly and efficient. The room is spacious clean and updated. The food in Miguels was excellent and a big portion. Margarita was delicious! We will be back

The hotel itself was great. But the valet drivers somehow bent our wheel rims and shifted our alignment after being parked overnight. Such an expensive fix for an overnight stay. So disappointing since we really love the hotel.

Bathroom needed maintenance. Water pressure too high, showering actually hurt. Shower drain did not keep up. Had to shut water off during shower to keep pan from overflowing.

House keeping left a dirty bathroom floor and insufficient shampoo and towels. Had some expensive jewelry stolen from room. Room service only access. No hall camera security.

The staff and facilities at South Point were fabulous!!! The entire stay was comfortable and fun. I look forward to staying at your establishment in the future.

This location had several dining options and it was conveniently located close to the Vegas strip and the Allegiant Stadium.
