Hathway House Accommodation

Hathway house was super clean, cheerful and comfortable. I had a great night’s sleep. The location means you’re ten minutes walk from the airport, and even though you’re close to the main road it’s dead quiet. Check in and out was very easy and it’s great value for money.

It’s unstaffed and probably not the one if you have young kids.

The location was within 15 minutes stroll to the main terminal, it was set back from the main road, so was fairly quiet. The facilities were clean and comfortable, everything needed for a one night stay, early flight departure. Excellent instructions from the hosts, thank you very much indeed. Great value for money.

Proximity to the airport. Exactly what it stated in reviews ie basic but clean it had everything we needed (bar maybe a hairdryer) and the shower was great. Shame there was no onsite parking really but not a problem as we knew in advance and dropped the car off at the airport and walked down.

Lighting? Was a bit gloomy in the room.

Basic accommodation which I was expecting so was happy with it until we discovered we couldn’t close the bathroom door which did spoil our stay. (Room 2)

Very close to the airport, and the staff were accommodating. They are very open with the fact that it is basic accommodation and so you should expect more than that. That being said, I thought it was it convenient and a comfortable place to get a few hours sleep before my flight. Additionally, the hosts are very accommodating and answer any messages very quickly.

The only thing I would add (and this is not a criticism of the place, but people should be aware) is that the walls are thin, and you can hear people quite clearly. Lucky for me, after about 8pm my neighbours were very quiet, which was perfect because I needed to get an early night. But if you had bad luck and your neighbours were noisy, then it might be an expensive place to chill before a flight.

The staff were amazing at communicating how to self check in with all the room details. The room was amazingly clean and perfect for the night I stayed. The bed was comfy and the sheets were nice and warm. Loved the information sheet with contact details and a takeaway recommendation.

Jedyna rzecz która jest główna uwagi to bliskość do lotniska ok 10 minut spacerkiem I nic poza tym.

Pokój dla 2 osób ale raczej małych bo pokoik bardzo mały. W łazience brak miejsca żeby powiesić ręczniki oraz brak miejsca żeby gdzieś położyć kosmetyki. Trzeba kłaść na podłodze. Wszędzie pajeczyny 😁

Ideal location for an overnight stay before / after flights. Simple instructions for late check in / early check out and no issues with access. Walking distance to airport. Rooms comfortable for what's needed - shower room and drink facilities, nice option of a single room.

A summers night so window open. Traffic and planes landing noise until 1-2 am meant you don't get much peace to sleep. Plus the bed /mattress was uncomfortable

L'eau courante et chaude, il y a la lumière et c'est à 10 mn de l'aéroport à pieds. L'arrivée est facile. (C'était ouvert). Les proprios ne sont pas envahissants.

Il faut changer le moquette qui sent la vieille chaussette. La literie est fichue. les draps sentent le mal séché. Il n'y a pas une bouteille d'eau dans la chambre.

Camera molto molto piccola. Lenzuola macchiate. Molti insetti. La serratura non funzionava, e abbiamo dovuto dormire senza poterci chiudere.

We loved the location right by the airport. A good pub just down the road. We were able to park the car. Any queries were dealt with easily. The room was clean and very comfortable. Getting in and out was easy.

We were unsure re the overnight parking at first.

Bed sheets smelled very bad like sweat, like they haven’t been washed for a long time; when you pay 100 pounds a night, you expect at least to sleep in fresh bed sheets; we couldn’t sleep because of the smell

Very convenient for Gatwick Airport. Room was fine for an overnight before early flight. Bus service stops outside but I walked as I didn't have much luggage and it's only 15 mins

La vicinanza all' aeroporto di Bristol. C'è una fermata bus da e per città. Arrivando di sera e non conoscendo la zona (la strada per me era impossibile da percorrere da sola a piedi da aeroporto)ho preferito prendere un taxi che per due minuti di strada mi è costato un occhio della testa. La fermata del bus molto vicina alla struttura (ma non volevo rischiare di sera tardi). Belli gli esterni della caratteristica struttura in pietra e bella la zona. Tutto suggestivo.

La stanza troppo piccola sarebbe andata bene se non si fosse sentito un forte odore di chiuso che mi ha reso il soggiorno di una notte non proprio piacevole. Ma se non si ha un olfatto troppo pretenzioso....passabile.

Közel van a reptér, repülés előtt egy estére megszállni tökéletes.

A fal egy rèszèről hiányzott a festèk és csak tégla volt, valamint volt egy kis penész áporodott szag, de kinyitottam az ajtót szellőztetni utána jobb volt . A múltkori szoba jobban tetszett, amit kaptam.

Heureusement que le Taxi connaissait l'adresse, car aucun signe visible qu'il s'agit d'un hotel. Aspect déconcertant. Je n'ai vu personne ni le soir ni le matin. Mais tout était parfaitement organisé par mail. 75, 00 Livres pour cette chambre, un peu cher!

Perfecto para 1 noche de paso al lado del aeropuerto. Solo para dormir e irte. Es como una cabañita. Puedes llegar caminando des de el Aeropuerto. Esta a 5-10 minutos andando por un camino seguro. Los dueños son personas muy agradables.

Olía un poco extraño al entrar, como a ropa mal lavada y humeda. Las sabanas tenían manchas. 100€ por una noche me parece demasiado.

La mia camera era al primo piano senza ascensore e ho faticato a portare su la mia valigia. Il letto singolo ha un materasso che non dà molto sostegno alla mia schiena dolorante. La connessione WIFI non ha funzionato.

When I arrived late at night, they had the heating on in the room for me 🥹 Such a nice touch. There is a kettle and I could make myself hot drinks, that was also great. Within walking distance to the airport and flixbuses. I slept well.

The room is super small, but if you have only a small suitcase, it should fit.

Stanza carina e pulita ma davvero molto piccola. Completa di bollitore per caffè/the e ventilatore. 10 minuti a piedi dall’aeroporto.

Come già scritto da altri ospiti c’è solo un appendiabiti sulla porta del bagno e nessun altro gancio per appendere qualcosa, nemmeno un piccolo sgabello o una sedia pieghevole. Basterebbe metterne un appendi abiti dietro la porta, non credo ci voglia molto! Considerando che intorno non c’è un supermercato, una bottiglietta d’acqua in camera, oppure alla reception da poter acquistare non sarebbe stato male

La camera decisamente piccola. Spazio appena sufficiente per girare intorno al letto con le valigie tra i piedi. Nessun gancio in bagno. Nonostante avessi prenotato per due, solo una coppia di asciugamani (piccolo e medio).

The position is very near the airport, ideal for one night expecially if you arrive at late night and you are tired.

The room was very little as the owner had warned us in advance. At the end It was not a big problem.

The duvet was too high a tog for the high temperature prevailing. I would have liked to have had just a top sheet instead . There was no member of staff to greet me at any point of the visit. It would be advantageous to state how to access the property on foot from the airport bus (A1). I spent a good hour trying to find the place , walking from the Airport and also unable to get a response around 19.00 from the dedicated phone number precisely about directions to the location. I should have got off the airport bus one stop before the airport-I’ll know that next time round.

It was clean. ,comfortable and was just what we needed , will definitely stay again .

There was a strong dog odour, the room was badly equipped with poor quality furniture and there was the incessant noise of traffic as the property is situated near a main road.

It was incredibly close to Bristol Airport! My room was very clean & the bed was comfortable.

There is a very narrow lane to get to the property & there was nowhere to turn around. My partner, who dropped me off, had to reverse onto a very busy road. The owner of the property did warn me it might be tricky if I was arriving in a vehicle, but we had no idea how tight it would be. When I arrived at about 8pm there was no one to greet me. The owner, again by text, told me how I would find my room. It was on the first floor & was accessed by a narrow & steep flight of stairs. Ideally I would have liked to have had help with my case as I have a back condition. However, I managed it.

Posizione e accoglienza tutti gentilissimi

A short walk to the airport light luggage: one small wheely case or a backpack. Or good for people with with a small rental car. One man did a 10 oint turn to get out but he had rented a beast! The room was reasonbale size with a well thought out compact but roomy enough bathroom. There was a comfortable chair and table, and I appreciated the excellent fan. Coffee, tea, biscuits, sugar milks, and bathgel/shampoo. The road was busy right by the airport but the place was quiet. Never saw the owners, but didnt need to. They left excellent instructions.

The walk is uphill and had too many bumps and too much traffic for me to guide my large and small wheely cases plus my large shoulder bag. So i had to get a pricey uber. If you have lots of luggage of me, stay in Bristol and get the airport bus. No cooking or fridge so take a breakfast lke a porridge which needs only boiling water added. No fridge for yoghurt. Have dinner before you arrive if you dont have a car, or something like a salad with its own fork, or a sandwich.

Reasonably priced. Owner very welcoming. The room was clean and I was very glad a fan had been supplied due to the heat wave.

The grouting in the shower could have been renewed as there was some mold.

Double bed mattress springs were very loud, though the bed was comfortable any movement cause a loud noise which disturbed and more importantly made us worried we were disturbing others in a similar boat needing to get sleep prior to an early start.

Close to the airport. This is the main thing we were looking for. The price was cheap so the size and quality of the room was appropriate for the price.

There appeared to have been an excesive amount of airfreshener used to disguise something. We left the window open while we went to the pub and it was a bit better after a few hours.

Como há muita gente que se levanta de madrugada para ir para o aeroporto e os quartos são muito juntos, devido ao sono leve acordava com as pessoas a passarem com as malas.

Perfect location for the airport, just a few minutes walk to the terminal building. Cosy room, adequate for a single night stay, with tea/coffee etc, tv, peaceful and quiet. Communication was excellent.

I dropped my hold luggage at the airport as had an early morning flight, however, there was not masses of room if you had to store your suitcases but if only 1 night then not too much of a problem. There was a slightly damp smell in my room, it was clean and tidy but that was my only negative from a good stay and it would not put me off staying again

Great little guesthouse. Room was cozy, clean and comfortable. Great location for the airport.

This is a very basic hotel, but is great if you're using it for easy access to the airport. Parking is extremely limited, so best really for those on foot. Rooms are small. Whilst the booking says it includes breakfast, this does need to be requested in advance by contacting the owners and they will arrange for cereal to be left out. It would be better if a grab bag was available. Terry, the owner, is absolutely brilliant. He was in regular contact with us and literally a text away, with prompt replies. If you want something very basic, with the airport within walking distance, this is the place for you.

The position next to the main road, as a taxi couldn't pull in easily and is noisy throughout the night.

Steep steps the the room. Compact bathroom . Wasn't relaxed knowing the front door was open all night.

This is perfect if you just need somewhere to sleep after a late arrival or before an early departure from the airport. The bed was clean and comfortable, the hosts have clearly made an effort furnishing the room. Check-in and check-out was very straight-forward.

Bathroom really didn't seem very clean. I expected very simple accommodation and the way the room was furnished actually exceeded that, I found it really cosy. But I would expect the bathroom to be properly clean, and that wasn't the case. Shower didn't drain either.

Perfect for a nights sleep before you go or arrive back from holiday ,clean and tidy with comfortable bed ,it is very small but it describes this ,slightly overpriced but I suppose because its so near the airport that's expected.. Will use again .

I stayed here from 14th -15th April before my holiday and then again from 19th-20th on my return. Please see my review for 14th-15 th when I covered both stays. I would definitely stay here again before and after a flight - very comfortable and convenient -a very short walk (8-10mins) to the airport.

On booking.com it states there is breakfast. In the morning went down to find some as was hungry. No one about so contacted host. Was informed there was no breakfast as stated on website. Said on booking.com has breakfast received 3 curt texts basically telling me I should have requested it. No where does it say you have to request it. If ut says breakfast on the boomjnv it shohld be there Disgusting response. We packed up and left having to pay for breakfast somewhere else not ideal with a diabetic partner. Towels were tiny. Shower curtain full of mould . Stayed in accommodation down the road last time same price and that was amazing compared to this. I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me

Había telas de araña por la cabina. Nuestra puerta no cerraba (las cabins dan a la calle), escribimos al WhatsApp de recepción y nunca contestaron. Tuvimos que dormir con la puerta de la cabañita abierta toda la noche.

Walking distance to Bristol airport

I knew it was basic accommodation due to pricing but it was sorely lacking. Nowhere to put toiletries or even a towel rail in the bathroom. Everything had to go on the floor. No teaspoons with tea making. Bedding poor quality & uncomfortable. Bed ok. I won’t stay again. Very noisy from the main road all night too. Little sleep before an early flight
