Abbiamo soggiornato qui per circa 9 giorni. La stanza (eravamo in 3 persone) era enorme, con due letti matrimoniali e un divano letto; anche la cucina, dotata di frigorifero, congelatore, fornelli e microonde, era comodissima. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e super disponibile. Siamo arrivati alle due di notte e ci ha accolti un ragazzo molto cordiale; non abbiamo pagato alcun supplemento né per il check-in notturno né per aver lasciato i bagagli lì l’ultimo giorno, dato che avevamo il volo a mezzanotte. Le stanze erano super pulite, con il servizio in camera ogni giorno. Asciugamani per il corpo e viso cambiati ogni gg. La colazione nella lobby era buonissima, ancora più ricca il sabato e la domenica. Molto comodo anche il distributore d'acqua all'entrata, vicino all'ascensore. Al check-in ovviamente chiedono la cauzione, circa 150 dollari, restituita poi dopo 2 giorni. Anche la posizione molto comoda, vicino all'hotel c'è la fermata dell'autobus 158 che in 25 minuti lascia proprio vicino a times square, a porth authority bus station (il prezzo dei biglietti un po altino, calcolando circa 5 dollari andata e 5 per il ritorno)

Renderei l'accesso limitato ai soli ospiti dell'hotel (magari attraverso il numero della camera) nelle ore notturne. Possono entrare tutti purtroppo, migliorerei un po la sicurezza

We would have liked to have waffles every day but It was Just at the weekend. We were expecting some cheese or ham too for breakfast. We were expecting a social evening with drinks on Wednesdsy but there was not and we were not informed if It was in another day.

Umywalka w apartamencie jest poza łazienką, więc susząc włosy osoby w sypialni miały dyskomfort, wszystko bylo widać i słychać. Byliśmy w 2 różnych pokojach, w drugim nie dało się wyłączyć klimatyzacji, w ścianie byl mechanizm- bardzo głośny. Hotel położony jest w 3 strefie od Terminal Bus, 30 minut jazdy autobusem, koszt biletu to 5,45 USD od osoby.

La colazione è buon e varia . Forse un unico suggerimento può essere quello di inserire affettati. La posizione è veramente ottima e con gli autobus 158 e 159 si raggiunge Times Square in 20/25 minuti. La fermata per l'andata è a 5 minuti a piedi e quella del ritorno ferma davanti all'Hotel. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite dotate anche di una cucina con lavastoviglie. Dietro all'hotel ci sono negozi e Ristoranti.

Das Hotel hat vor der Haustür die Haltestelle. Man ist in ca. 20 Minuten in der City. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut; allerdings gibt es als Heissgetränke nur Kaffee (keinen Cappuccino o. ä.) oder Tee.

Siamo stati una settimana e devo dire che è andata ben oltre le aspettative.... La camera è grande, spaziosa e ben arredata, pulizia impeccabile, ogni giorno c'è il cambio asciugamani e dispenser saponi, shampoo, conditioner... pieni. La colazione è ben varia e fornita ed il personale gentilissimo! Soprattutto la ragazza più giovane della reception molto graziosa e disponibile a dare tutte le informazioni. La posizione a noi è piaciuta molto, in una zona residenziale molto bella e super tranquilla con diverse cose per mangiare, si prende l'autobus n.158 o 159 a 5min a piedi e la fermata di ritorno è proprio davanti l'hotel. In 25 (o 35min se in orari più trafficati) si raggiunge times square. Non la scambierei mai dal caos di manhattan!

Eight years ago we awarded a hotel "THE WORST MATTRESS AWARD" and hoped that we would never have to hand out that award agin. Unfortunately, the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Edgewater NJ is the newest winner of the award. Prior to our arrival, we reached out to the hotel to request a room that was not near an elevator, ice machine and on a higher floor to avoid street noise, a thing we've done for decades and something that all travelers should consider. When we arrived at the hotel, which is part of a shopping center, we only found a few hotel-dedicated parking spots near the hotel entrance. There was an underground parking lot below the hotel which we believed would provide more parking for the guests. Unfortunately, after driving around the parking area for a few minutes we could not find any signage that identified hotel-dedicated parking and returned to the shopping area near the hotel where we ended up parking. We locked the car, went into the hotel and asked a staff member where we were supposed to park. They said, "you are supposed to park in the hotel's dedicated blue parking area in the underground lot." None of the information about the unique parking situation was provided before our arrival, be aware and LOOK FOR THE BLUE when you arrive. Once officially parked, we checked in to find most of our room requests were filled except, we ended up on the second floor of an eight-story building, overlooking the HVAC systems on the stores behind the hotel, we would have opted for another room, but we were too tired from the ride. When our evening with family was over we longed for a comfortable mattress only to find our king mattress to be lumpy and downright uncomfortable. It felt like one of our toddler grandkids had stuffed their large lego blocks under the mattress cover. We mused, this winner of the worst hotel mattress should be carried around the complimentary breakfast room in the morning to face the ridicule of other guests and then discarded. Finding a spot that night that worked was a challenge and, it was too late to switch rooms. All of the hotel rooms are suites with a sofa and that unlikely seating source was the fallback for one of us to try to get some sleep. Beyond lack of a restful sleep, the hotel offers a complimentary breakfast in a large seating area. Everything looked yummy, but looks can deceive. The scrambled eggs were tasteless (it might explain why so many guests opted for the hard boiled eggs) the bagels and some of the other breads were fresh out of the freezer. No matter how many times you put them through the rotating toaster, they never warmed up. Thankfully, the coffee was good and available 24/7. The Homewood Suites by Hilton Edgewater appears to have been upgraded with new paint, wallpaper, carpeting, but some of the old-school elements are still in place, their in-room HVAC systems are noisy with a thermostat which is dated as is the appliances in their little kitchen. Sometimes that rather nasty phrase, "putting lipstick on a pig" works. Travelers might opt for another hotel that puts a good night's sleep as their top priority.

The rooms are excellent and very spacious, and the service is outstanding. The hotel is in a great central location, with everything you need nearby.

Mooie rustige locatie, fijne kamers, aardig personeel. Vanaf de waterkant heel mooi uitzicht op Manhattan. De bushalte is een paar minuten lopen en dan ben je na ongeveer 25 minuten in Manhattan. In de buurt zijn wat winkels, restaurantjes, take-aways.

Overall very good. We had a suite with kitchen that was good for our family. Parking was included and free and transfer with the bus into NYC was convenient. Good breakfast variety.

Not enough plates or deep bowls in the kitchen, but we got some additional ones when we asked. Breakfast place was quite crowded at some times but varienty was good, with fruit salat and tortilas.

I was in town for the day and was looking for a nice place to stay outside of NYC. I couldn't be happier with the service and accommodations. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included with the room rate and it was great. Parking was also included which is a nice feature. I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks so much. Donna

The location was excellent to explore parts of New Jersey and to visit Manhattan. The staff was kind and very helpful throughout the stay.

It would have been nice to have a swimming pool and further variety in the breakfast area, which is small for the number of guests that the hotel has during summer.

It had a nice view and was close to some shops.

As a Hilton Diamond member I stay at Hilton properties just about every week and have stayed in hotels all over the country. This Homewood Suites is THE WORST property in the country! First I arrived after check in time and my room on the 3rd floor was not ready yet, so they gave me a room on the 6th floor. No big deal, even though the room was next to the ice machine but no worries it was broken anyway! So ice was a floor down, not a great start but I should have known. Slept pretty good, went to shower and the water pressure was so low I felt I couldn’t get clean. I let the front desk know and they said maintenance would check it out and the manager would contact me. Next day, no change another horrible shower! Breakfast was a joke, food was uninspired and the area was so crowded it was a nightmare, but it gets worse! The food trays were empty and they even ran out of coffee! Next morning tops it off… NO HOT WATER! I called the front desk and they sent maintenance who said the boiler was the problem. I was told to let the water run and it would get hot…an hour later it was still not hot so I took a luke warm, no water pressure shower. I was apologized to and told the manager would be contacting me, never heard a word! Next morning still NO HOT WATER AGAIN! Manager no where to be found. After another horrible shower I checked out. Front desk said the manager would contact me…two days later and NO ONE FROM HOMEWOOD SUITES HAD CONTACTED ME! I repeat this IS THE WORST hotel and the service is a joke! Stay anywhere else but here!

The hotel, on the surface, represents good mid-tier value. However the hotel has not been maintained well: - sagging mattress - broken toilet (does not stop flushing without manual adjustment) - very uncomfortable (hard) desk chair The sagging mattress, in particular, was a problem where would fall towards the middle of the bed due to a significant sag to the middle. This led to poor sleep quality. I would have to imagine the mattress is at least 20yrs old and desperately needs replacement. I have heard, after I booked, that many rooms have this problem.

The room and facility were clean. Bed very comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

17.06.2026 at the check-in we payed a security deposit of $153.16 in cash. During the check-out the staff assured us that they would pay the deposit back via a bank transfer. Two monthes has passed and we have not received the deposit yet. The hotel should refund immediately 153,16 dollares to the my bank card specified on the website Booking.com . Otherwise, this hotel has demonstrated dishonest business practices.

Hotel is clean and new. Room is big with good view and equipped with kitchenware. The location is very good - lots of stores and restaurants in the area and going / from Manhattan is super easy - NJ Transit bus stop is a minute walk from hotel door and takes just 35 minutes to Manhatten 42nd street bus terminal. Just cost $5.1 per person per trip.

Close to street so could be a little noisy at night. But the room is quiet after midnight

We could hear the pipes running in the bathroom from other rooms or building. We were woken up constantly throughout the evening. $1300 for 3 nights definitely not worth it .

Everything was great. Bus pick up very convenient to get to New York. Staff very helpful. Staff person Will Was very helpful with directions and tips on going by bus to New York. The staff were amazing , super friendly and said good morning to us everyday without fail. If we needed anything they were helpful and available . Breakfast was good. However needs more variety . However everything was made fresh . The property was super clean . Amazing to channels . They have a little shop in reception that has a variety of snacks , drinks , food and travel essentials to buy that are cheap. Behind the hotel there are restaurants and shops which I would highly recommend. The original Pancake house and Tommy Tavern are amazing places to eat . The staff were amazing . There is a bus 5 minutes from hotel that takes you straight in to Manhattan which is about 20-25 minutes bus ride . There is also a ferry to take you into Manhattan aswell. The skyline from the hotel in to manhattan at night is absolutely amazing . Check- out was 12pm however our flight back was not until 7pm and the hotel held on to our luggage for FREE until we were ready to go to the airport which I thought was so lovely them. The breakfast staff are absolutely amazing attend to our needs everyday for the 10 days . Surfaces were always clean and tidy . They were polite and said good morning to us everyday without fail. They were constantly stocking up the food. Every Wednesday night (not sure on time so please ask reception) they provide a light Dinner ,snack for free. Food included drinks, cheese board , crackers ,hot food , fruit etc. there is unlimited coffee , tea and hot chocolate 24hrs available.

Unfortunately the WiFi is not very good . Some days would work and some days it wouldn’t . That’s quite frustrating especially for the children . Unfortunately there were a few times that the coffee supply was cold or empty and had to be requested to fill which was slight frustrating as I didn’t want to keep bothering them. Apart from that it was a great 10 days stay would highly recommend .

Le prix qui reste néanmoins relativement compétitif par rapport aux prix de Manhattan. La situation assez proche de New York et des commerces non loin de l’hôtel (zone commerciale). Le fait d’être en face de la Skyline côté New Jersey permet de se détendre et de sortir de l’agitation de Manhattan. Situation interessante par rapport à l’aéroport de Newark.

Le lit d’appoint du canapé indigne d’un hôtel de ce standing. Du jamais vu ! Pas de confort. Matelas usé au possible. Limite sale. Une honte. Une solution radicale s’impose concernant ce mobilier dans l hôtel. Isolation thermique des fenêtres d’un autre temps. Éviter les chambres sur le boulevard adjacent. Gros problèmes de plomberie dans l’hotel. Pas d’eau chaude (eau tiède voire froide pendant notre séjour en décembre). Obligés de changer de chambre (guère mieux) en insistant (merci à husein au desk) après une réparation sommaire réalisée par un autre employé qui savait pertinemment que ce qu’il faisait ne servait à rien. Une blague. Problème généralisé à l’hôtel selon nous. Petit déjeuner correct sans plus. Le service du petit déjeuner. Personnel du petit déjeuner très désagréable avec les clients. N’ouvre pas le petit déjeuner à l heure car arrive quelques minutes avant et donc n’est pas prêt à l heure. Gare aux clients qui s’approchent de celui-ci avant que ces dames ne soient prêtes. Pour être bien vu mieux vaut parler espagnol.

Excellent séjour : petit déjeuner très bon et varié, personnel réactif, logement propre avec serviettes changées chaque jour. La proximité de l’arrêt de bus pour rejoindre Manhattan est un vrai plus. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

The hotel is very old, and the bathroom/toilet area opens into the room with a window, which was uncomfortable. I booked a family room, but we still could not use it comfortably. During the night, I could hear flushing sounds from another room’s toilet and woke up twice because of the noise. The price was also really expensive. Later, I moved to another hotel with similar features, including breakfast, for about one-third of the price. In particular, the young bearded man working at the reception was very rude and had an unpleasant attitude. The breakfast was not bad, and the cleanliness was average. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.

The problems we did have were addressed in a timely manner

We got to our room and the AC wasn't working which was unfortunate because it was over 90 degrees the two days we stayed and when we called to tell the front desk maintenance had left for the day so the next day by the time we got back to our room they were in the middle of replacing the AC unit so there was just a hole in the wall then room service was very pushy on cleaning our room right that moment after we just got back form a long day in the city and we just wanted to relax

I like that this hotel is near Mitsuwa. It's at a pretty quiet location, both morning and night, even on a weekend. The rooms look like your usual longer stay hotels - it's spacious but a bit worn or even cheap looking, considering the price of this place per night. Cleanliness was OK, could be better (a strand of hair). Breakfast was busy and crowded but there's no worries about not having enough food to go around.

Le seul commentaire que je peux faire c’est au niveau de l’espace pour une chambre à 4 qui est limité et vu qu’on dort tous dans la même chambre une porte au niveau du lavabo aurait été la bienvenue pour pas réveiller les enfants lorsqu’on se lave les dents matin ou soir..

The hotel is located in a respectable neighborhood on the Hudson River. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, catering to all needs. The bathrooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is adequate, but the space is a bit cramped and chaotic, and the variety is weak compared to other hotels. Coffee is available 24 hours, but the lack of a vending machine is truly disappointing! Sometimes no coffee, sometimes cold? The reception staff should receive customer relations training; some act as if they are busy with other tasks to avoid greeting you. This is something that should not be overlooked! A typical American breakfast; you won't go hungry (those accustomed to Mediterranean breakfasts can order cheese and olives from outside). Things get a bit chaotic when it's crowded in the limited space. This is part of the job; smiling is essential. The hotel is close to shops such as TJMaxx, Marshalls, Sephora, CVS, and others. If you need clothes, you're in the right place; they offer a diverse and rich selection. Go early and allow plenty of time to explore thoroughly, you can find branded items at reasonable prices. There is a bus service to downtown New York City. The bus leaves from a stop near the hotel and drops you off in about 25-30 minutes. (A one-way ticket is $5.30, a bit expensive. Contactless credit cards work without any problems, don't bother with tickets.) The area is safe; you can return from your sightseeing tour whenever you want. There was no view from our room (this didn't bother us too much, we only used it for sleeping), we stayed for 10 days; overall everything was smooth, clean, tidy and effortless. Recommended for those who don't mind commuting to New York City by bus every day. You need to consider the price-value ratio. *The hotel never responds to emails or messages sent via the app; you only find out this when you arrive at the hotel. *The $150 deposit is refunded 7-8 days after check-out, don't worry.

El desayuno tipo buffet estaba bastante bien para comenzar el día. La cama de la habitación era grande y comoda y podías poner rápidamente la calefacción o aire acondicionado. El hotel está en New Jersey por lo que hay que tener en cuenta que tienes que ir en bus o ferry a Nueva York todos los días

El hotel está muy bien enlazado con la línea de bus 158, pero aún así si pillas las horas punta donde la gente local sale de trabajar se tarda como unos 40-45 min en llegar a la estación de autobuses de NY

L’espace dans l’appartement, la literie, le petit déjeuner

Ontbijt was heerlijk met veel verschillende dingen.(o.a. ei, bacon, muffins, bagels, serial, yoghurt, taco's, fruit) Bed lag prima. In de buurt kun je eten. Target op loopsfstand. Bus naat NY paar min. lopen. Vriendelijk personnel over het algemeen.

De slaapbank was niet fijn voor onze 15- jarige tweeling. Soort ut in het midden. Kussens nirt zo comfortabel.

Al mio arrivo, alla reception, una giovane ragazza molto preparata e cordiale predispone il check in e ci consegna le chiavi. La struttura si presenta molto bene, in una posizione strategica con un panorama spettacolare. All'esterno sono presenti dei parcheggi liberi, ma per parcheggiare la nostra vettura abbiamo utilizzato il garage sotterraneo (gratuito) dell'hotel. Per il nostro soggiorno abbiamo utilizzato una camera per 5 persone, una stanza con due letti matrimoniali e il salone cucina con un divano letto; tutti molto comodi. La camera e tutti gli spazzi comuni sono stati sempre profumati e puliti, il personale addetto alle pulizie è molto professionale e attento per il mantenimento della struttura, ogni giorno la camera veniva rassetta. La colazione offre diverse possibilità di scelta tra cibi dolci e salati con diverse varietà di bevande, ogni giorno varia la scelta ed è veramente ottima. Vicino l'ascensore è presente un distributore gratuito di acqua molto utile per riempire le bottiglie che si usano durante le escursioni. L'hotel è in una posizione strategica per New York, a pochi passi la fermata del bus cittadino nr.158 che in 20 minuti ti porta al centro di manhattan (si può pagare con carta di credito, 3 dollari a presona, massimo 4 transazioni consecutive a viaggio). In struttura è presente una lavanderia a gettoni, con 5 dollari si possono lavare e asciugare i propri indumenti (se occorre in reception hanno in vendita il sapone per il bucato). La zona in cui si trova l'hotel è tranquilla e ben servita da negozi, pub e tanto altro. Questa struttura ha superato le mie aspettative, la consiglio per l'ottima qualità offerta.

Le personnel était très accueillant! Ça fais vraiment plaisir! Notre chambre était très bien, ainsi que le buffet le matin on a bien manger (c’est souvent la même chose) mais à par hasard très bon. Et niveau transport pour aller au centre c’est très accessible avec les bus, aucun problème.

Peut être le petit déjeuner car c’est souvent la même chose mais sinon rien de négatif.
