Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel - BW Signature Collection

Extremely close proximity to the Blarney castle/stone that allows easy access to the tourist location in less than five minutes!

Lovely comfortable beds. Clean room, biscuits and tea, coffee in room.

Breakfast wasn't good, lots of choice, but low quality. Bath was nice, but hard to get in and out of bath for shower l.

Breakfast options were fine.

Only concern was flies around the food buffet.

Rooms without refrigerator

The rooms have been allocated as requested ( limited mobility). Staff very cooperative. The hotel is ok . Rooms clean and comfy. Bed comfortable as well.

The only negative comment that I can make really is about the parking. The hotel is adiacent to famous large and largely visited shop. and does not seem to have parking dedicated to Hotel guests , or at least I did not see it . If arrival is on shop peak hours one might park quite away from hotel entrance. Suggest dedicated parking in front of Hotel , or better signage.

This place has everything tourist needs.

Walls are quite thin, can hear your neighbours snore. Besides from that definitely recommend!

A very unique property in an excellent location within walking distance to the Blarney Castle and Gardens. Cannot beat the location and I thought the property had a very unique field to it being in an old Woolen mill.

Breakfast was lovely, we had a really nice dinner at Christy's bar.

très bel hotel, déco chaleureuse et chic, chambres très confortables et propres, petit déjeuner très copieux avec buffet varié et carte avec très bonnes omelettes, vue sur le chateau magnifique

les pancakes étaient un peu secs mais c'est un détail; le fait d'être à 4 dans une même chambre (2 grands lits), je n'avais pas fait attention à la réservation mais apparemment c'est courant en Irlande, curieux mais on en a bien rigolé !

Luxurious and beautiful. Set in a historic mill. Looked straight out on Blarney Castle.

Los desayunos eran espectaculares por variedad y tamaño. Se puede elegir tipo de desayuno y te lo sirven en mesa. También dispone de buffet libre para otros productos. Las habitaciones eran acogedoras y el lobby del hotel es muy bonito. Tiene al lado una gran tienda de productos locales (ropa de lana, souvenirs...) y un pub restaurante. Jardines muy bonitos alrededor del hotel. Necesario tener coche para llegar y moverse por la zona.

Bäder sind in die Jahre gekommen Frühstück ist sehr spantanisch und sehr laut in einer großen Halle überhaupt nicht schön am frühen Morgen. Sehr sehr touristisch und Massenabfertigung.

Hotel beautiful. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Restaurant was fantastic. Grounds are gorgeous as are the views of Blarney Castle.

Blarney Woolen Hotel is close to Blaney Castle, but about 20-30 minutes from Downtown Cork!

Hotel very clean . Receptionist very friendly Lift available. Two card access for room both parties facilitated. Tea/ coffee and nice shortbread biscuit very welcoming.

The room comfortable . There was no air conditioning could be uncomfortable particularly this hot weather.

The staff are fantastic. The breakfast is lovely. The shower is fab, great water pressure. Comfy bed, lovely location. Great place.

Reception staff and breakfast staff were lovely. Beds were comfortable, and cot had kindly been provided as requested. Room was quiet. Fans had been provided without needing to be requested. Staff very kindly let us store baby milk in fridge downstairs for duration of stay.

Our stay suffered due to lack of air con in room on a very hot August night with family of 4 in the room. We baked despite the 2 fans kindly provided. Not the hotel's fault. When we arrived after a long drive we went to the Mill restaurant for a cup of tea at 4.30pm (restaurant closes at 5pm). A very young staff member proceeded to spend the entire 40mins we spent there ostentatiously sweeping around our table specifically, to the extent of pulling out chairs at our table to sweep underneath while we were sitting there. Suggest junior staff could do with some more training.

The rooms are clean, beautiful and well stocked with tea, coffee, treats and water. The breakfast was exceptional, would have liked to stay longer.

Struttura confortevole. Ambiente ben curato e rilassante immerso in un contesto tranquillo e silenzioso. Personale molto gentile e preparato. Gestione degli imprevisti ottima e professionale. È una struttura che ti consente di rilassarti e coccolarti. Colazione buona "full Irish" che continentale. Posizione ottima per visitare il parco ed il castello di Blarney, ma anche per visitare la contea di Cork se si possiede un auto a noleggio.

Bon petit déjeuner meme s'il manque pour nous français de pain et de viennoiseries variés.....

Nous aurions préféré une douche, et la literie est trop souple pour nous.

El baño parece del paleolitico, hay que renovarlo. En mi vida he estado en cientos de hoteles y aquí estaba la peor ducha que vi nunca, una vergüenza, subo foto.

Lovely location, although there was no air conditioning fans were provided. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Room was nicely decorated.

The hot water in the tap and shower was extremely hot.

Stanza per 4 persone con 2 letti matrimoniali abbastanza spaziosa, le finestre con pochissima apertura. Il bagno abbastanza spazioso. Parcheggio gratuito. Personale di reception cortese. L'albergo si trova a pochi metri dall'ingresso del Castello, la zona è davvero molto bella. L'edificio è in una struttura ex industriale, la hall molto bello, tanti divani, fiori, ambiente davvero confortevole. Avevamo la colazione compresa, da scegliere da un menù, qualche cosa a buffet. Mio figlio è celiaco e hanno adattato il piatto.

Una cosa davvero inaccettbile sono i bed runner e i cuscini arredo sopra il letto. L'utilizzo di queste cose è assoutamente anti igenico. La cosa assurda, e che ci ha fatto davvero dormire in sofferenza, è stato il termosifone del bagno sempre acceso, ce ne siamo accorti la prima sera ma ci hanno detto che il problema è noto e non potevano spegnere, in stanza ovviamente niente aria condizionata ma solo 2 ventilatori che poco potevano fare non potendo aprire completamente le finestre. Con il caldo di quest'anno anche in Irlanda credo che debbano trovare una soluzione. Peccato perchè se non fosse stato per il gran caldo avrebbe meritato un 8.

Són les dependències d'un antic molí tèxtil de llana. Tots els detalls estan molt cuidats: decoració de fàbrica, expos d'utensilis antics, decoració retro estil victorià molt elegant i personal agradable. A l'habitació hi ha les imatges de com era abans i ara. I està a 5 min. caminant del castell de Blarney, punt super turístic a uns km. d Cork. Això sí, si hi ha d'anar amb cotxe de lloguer a l'hotel o quedes aïllat de Cork.

La wifi falla de vegades. Per ex. els missatges de watsap no s'envien ni arriben alguns cops.

The kindness and responsiveness of the staff, the emplacement, the proximity from Cork and the Blarney Castle. A very hearty breakfast each morning.

Очень вкусный завтрак, делают по выбору на заказ. По сути как в ресторане. Красивые общие интерьеры отеля. Удобное месторасположение, парковка есть, но днём мест не будет. Только утром или после 18-00.

Сами комнаты уже требуют ремонта. Всё довольно сильно изношено - кафель отбит, раковина у нас плохо пропускала воду. На 3-м этаже было необычно жарко. И это при том, что на улице было +22 днём. В номере только 2 маленьких окошка которые открываются и проветрить номер особенно не получается.

Staff were great. The properties entrance, common areas, are great. The bedrooms are nicely done, and have all the comforts you require. The bathrooms are not quite up to the same standard, and need refurbishment.

Opulence from the second you step into the lobby. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Beds linen pillows all top quality. Great shower and water pressure.

This wouldn't normally be a problem, but it was mid summer and very hot when we stayed. The rooms were very hot, despite the fans provided. Probably because we had a room that got more sun than usual. Thankfully, nice flavoured cold water available on tap at reception.

They had a nice breakfast spread and the staff was very nice.

The room was a little bit small and had no air conditioning.

Hotel bastante grande confortable. Nos pusieron 4 habitaciones juntas :-) Las habitaciones tenían dos camas dobles grandes y muy cómodas y un ventanal grande. Las cortinas quitaban mucha luz porque eran grandes y opacas. El baño tenía bañera y un detalle que me gustó fue la alfombrilla antideslizante. Por suerte teníamos dos ventiladores ya que hizo mucha calor esa noche. La chica del desayuno fue encantadora y el desayuno fue muy variado. Detalles de agua de cortesía, café, té y galletas son muy bienvenidos. Parking grande y cómodo.

Hay varios edificios con el mismo nombre y puede ser confuso para el checkin. La tarde que llegamos hacía calor y la habitación al estar en la segunda planta y cerrada tenía mucho calor acumulado. Tuvimos que abrir la ventana a tope y dormir con ella abierta toda la noche y los ventiladores. Una sugerencia sería abrir las ventanas con más antelación para quitar el exceso de calor en días así.

Location was excellent, right next door to Blarney Woollen Mills shopping . Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Bar food was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely nothing

If you want to visit Blarney Castle it is a great place to stay. Our room was very nice and there was plenty of parking for our car.

Sorry but it was very hot un our room on a hot summer day. With global warming need warming need to consider air air conditioning.

I recently stayed at the hotel and found the rooms to be comfortable and perfectly adequate. However, I was very disappointed with the food, especially as I regularly eat in the other restaurants at Blarney Woollen Mills and have always had good experiences there. Breakfast was particularly poor. The sourdough bread was rock hard and inedible. I was very hungry but ended up leaving it because it simply wasn't enjoyable to eat. Overall, the quality of the food did not match the standard I have come to expect from Blarney Woollen Mills. I understand that prices are higher because of the hotel's location beside a major tourist attraction, but the quality of the food simply did not justify the cost. When paying premium prices, I would expect a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the food was well below expectations and let down what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

The breakfast was great and the room was very nice. The location is great.

The Air Conditioning. The room was very warm and we had no A/C in the room. The hotel did provide fans, however it just was not sufficient to cool the room.
