We had a wonderful stay here. The owners and their staff are just lovely. The breakfast was amazing, lots to chose from and homemade bread and scones too! The rooms were lovely, beds very comfortable. A bar and restaurant on site so you can grab a drink and a bite to eat which was handy too. We loved our stay 10/10.

The breakfast was astounding - and available all morning. The staff couldn't not have been more helpful and friendly.

Parking was tricky - but Paul helped when required. Location wonderful - right by the amazing castle grounds, comparable to Kew.

Location was ideal right next to Blarney castle. The breakfasts were delicious. The hotel was very busy when we were there so a good atmosphere. Staff were helpful.

We didn't realise our room would be above the busy bar but all noise ceased at 11 pm so was OK. Our shower controls were difficult to operate and would benefit from instructions. Only a small car park but large public one near by.

The hotel was cosy and hospitable. Ideal for a one night work trip. A lovely welcoming feel from the reception to the bar staff all expressed a welcoming smile and time to take food orders and give room directions etc.

Could perhaps install a lift

Staff was very attentive from the time we arrived until the time we left. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

The owners and the staff we wonderful and so accommodating.

La chambre très spacieuse et sont lit gigantesque. La salle de bain spacieuse et bien équipée. Les petites attentions (bouteille d'eau, biscuits) renouvelées chaque jour. Un grand nombre de prises électriques. La qualité du petit déjeuner, tout est fait maison et préparé à la commande. Un petit parking privé (5 voitures) fermé la nuit, très appréciable lorsqu'on est motard. La présence de pub et de restaurant à quelques pas. La proximité de Cork (9 km) mais sans avoir les inconvénients de la ville.

Peut être le prix un peu élevé.

The whole place was spotless. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice poached eggs were perfect. My room was beautifully furnished very comfortable bed. Bathroom was well appointed spotless with a good supply of towels and toiletries.The staff were well trained very efficient worked well as a team without being "in your face".

The Blarney Castle Hotel is the PERFECT location to experience Blarney Castle and the town! It could not have been a better location or experience. The people and the bar energy and local people were AMAZING. This hotel truly made the trip to Blarney Castle worthwhile and all the walkability was perfect.

We were there during a heat wave and I know this is unusual but with the weather changing I do think they should invest in some portable AC units to help out the people who are used to having AC. A Portable 6,500 BTU unit with window venting would have been MUCH appreciated.

we were just over overlooking the outside eating area

nice spacious (but hot) room and it was within 2 minutes walk to the castle grounds which proved to be a real bonus after spending a long day exploring the castle and it's grounds. Staff at the hotel were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room on the top floor (I note that our bags were carried up to our room on arrival) it was well kitted out with the usual tea making facilities and plenty of areas for luggage etc good sized bed . We did visit during a mini heatwave and found the room very warm (even with the fan provided) if you're used to air con rooms then unfortunately blarney castle is not for you. we had a pleasant meal in the bar area and breakfast on the morning before leaving, breakfast proved to be limited to cooked items except a baked scone (which we found a bit strange for a breakfast offer) again if you're seeking a continental style breakfast look elsewhere. The cooked breakfast was served hot and was tasty

Unfortunately the night we stayed there was a disco on that didn’t finish until 12:30 am and some people made more noise until 2am so didn’t get much sleep 😢 hotel staff were very apologetic the next morning not there fault they weren’t making the noise

Had a lovely stay at this central hotel. Blarney castle is literally across the road. Lively and busy pub with good staff and really good vibes. Great brekie and you really HAVE to taste the soda bread - I got a loaf to take home it was so good. Mojaam the manager couldn’t do enough for us!

Perfect location in Blarney with parking. Great ambiance and decor, with a lively bar at night. Bar food was good. Good proximity to Cork airport if you have a car. Staff lovely.

Our room was on the top floor, many stairs however hotel helped with the suitcase. Breakfast service a little slow, all items ordered from a menu apart from scones.

Booking a room and being turned away in the cold told that they are booked out and took my money till the following day so i couldnt even get another room somewhere else.

The property was absolutely beautiful! It had everything you could need - the room was spacious and clean, the pub/ restaurant downstairs was very nice and the location was a super close walk to the Blarney Castle entrance.

We loved this hotel. The room was spacious and adorable. The staff treated us like royalty, the bar and food was perfect. The breakfast was the best we’ve had along our travels. We definitely recommend this hotel to all. It’s also only a couple minute walk to the castle, which by the way was amazing.

I stayed 1 night and all was good. A bit over priced but I think it’s bcs of their location.

No control of heat in the room. It was very hot. Had to leave the window open and there was no screen. Loud music began playing downstairs and played until at least 11:30PM while we were trying to rest for the next days activities.

Die Zimmer waren so schön eingerichtet, man sieht wie alles gepflegt wurde. Die Hausbar war sehr cool, man fühlte sich sehr wohl. Das Essen war lecker, besonders das Frühstück war top. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und man fühlte sich wie zu Hause. Das Blarney Castle 2min entfernt zu Besuchen war ein High Light sowie die Wollfabrik im Dorf.

Very well located and the room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable.

My room was cold as the radiator didn’t seem to be working. I called staff twice to fix it but it made no difference so there was no heat in my room. The sink was backing up and draining extremely slowly and the shower impossible to turn on. I told the staff and someone came up after breakfast and managed to turn it on but too late for me to use it. The worst was the noise from the bar below. The music started around 10pm and was so loud I couldn’t hear the TV. It was like the amplifier was right under my bed. Defintely avoid room 23 if you are booking! It took a while to find someone to check me in when I arrived and in departure there was no one so I just left my key in the reception desk. The place was very central and the room apart for the issues listed above was clean and comfortable, it wasn’t worth 200 Euro though!!

The restaurant and the hospitality of the staff.

We have been travelling through Scotland and Ireland now for 9 weeks. Best bed, best breakfast, best band on Tuesday night and lovely staff. Also, across the road 3 min walk to Blarney Castle to climb the tower before the masses arrived. Great plan - highly recommend.

The room was very large and the bed comfortable- well furnished. The breakfast which was included in the price was excellent. The hotel was well situated in Blarney for visiting the castle and stone and the woollen mill.

There was no one at reception and I thought I had arrived at the wrong hotel initially. The car park was very small holding perhaps 4 cars. Parking on the road was for 2 hours only. I had asked for a meal to be booked but the hotel, bar and restaurant were very busy as it was Saturday.The restaurant was very busy and the hotel seating area full of drinkers from the overflowing bar. I think I would have a different experience on a weekday. This was the most expensive hotel I booked in Ireland and I had had great expectations for my stay here.
