Un séjour absolument magnifique ! La vue est splendide et le cadre de l’hôtel est vraiment exceptionnel. Notre chambre était superbe, très agréable et parfaitement à la hauteur de nos attentes. Le service était impeccable, avec un personnel attentionné et professionnel. Le jacuzzi était incroyable, un vrai moment de détente. Nous avons également adoré les restaurants : tout était excellent. Entre la beauté de l’hôtel, la vue, les prestations et la qualité du service, nous avons passé un séjour mémorable.

Honnêtement, rien de particulier à signaler. Nous avons été pleinement satisfaits de notre séjour.

The spot is amazing, the facilities are great, clean and staff is very friendly. Well set up as well for transportation to town with boat shuttle and other nearby restaurants.

As the hotel is rather pricey, I found it borderline to charge another 75 euros for sun beds on the beach. Similarly to charge 40 euros for the boat shuttle to town is an ill advised decision. Hotel should rely on tips from customers and take the difference. Also, there are few maintenance issues such as leaks leaving marks on walls, as well as below maintenance standard of some spa facilities. Again, the hotel is great but pinching extra $ everywhere leaves no room for anything negative.

Die Lage, mit Sicht auf Propriano, ist sehr schön. Ebenfalls der Sandstrand und ein eigener Bootssteg für Bootsfahrten sind top. Unser Zimmer mit Meersicht war renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht weder für das Zimmer noch für das Essen. Frühstück 35 Euro pro Person, Abendessen mind. 200 Euro pro Person, Liegestühle am Strand 80 Euro und ein einfaches Zimmer mit Meerblick 750 Euro. Das viel zu viele Personal ist grösstenteils arrogant und überheblich. Einzig Ines und die Crew im Poolrestaurant sind professionell. Schade, die Lage vom Hotel wäre gut, aber ist nicht auf einem 5 Sterneniveau.

Överlag för dyr mat på boendet. Frukost borde ingå till ett bättre pris. Dåligt wifi och det funkade inte bra att skärmdela till TVn.

Die Aussicht war toll, der kleine Privatstrand, die Massagen und die Mitarbeiter die unser Auto versorgt haben war alle super!! Einige wenige Personen vom Personal waren auch sehr freundlich. Nach einem gegeben Feedback dass verschiedene Sachen nicht rund laufen, hat man sich sehr bemüht, inklusive kostenlosem Champagner auf dem Zimmer. Ganz ehrlich müssen wir aber sagen, dass dieses Hotel nicht auf dem Niveau eines 5 Sterne Hotels ist und wenn das Management die Kommentare und Feedbacks hier ernst genommen hätten, wir wesentlich weniger enttäuscht wären. Wir können das Hotel leider nicht empfehlen und würden dort auch nicht noch einmal hingehen.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns gar nicht gepasst: überteuertes Frühstück von 36 Euro pro Person bei der Qualität (Kaffee aus Automat, verrottete Erdbeeren, trockenes Brot, kein Baguette mehr, wenig frisches Obst, Rührei aus dem Beutel) und das Buffet sah oft aus wie ein Schlachtfeld und das Nachfüllen hat ewig gedauert. Dazu kommen die exorbitanten Sonnenliegen von 80 Euro pro Person/Tag. Bei einem 5 Sterne Hotel hätten wir erwartet, dass diese nicht extra kosten. Ein weiterer Nachteil sind die über 100 Stufen, die man gehen muss, um an den Strand zu kommen. Wer nicht gut zu Fuss ist, kann das vergessen! Das Personal - bis auf wirklich sehr wenige Ausnahmen - hatte auch nicht das Niveau das man von einem solchen Haus erwarten könnte. Nicht wirklich freundlich und eher genervt bis arrogant. Aber wie gesagt es gab ein paar Ausnahmen, die sehr freundlich waren.

Room - poorly designed

Perfectly located with stunning views . The decor was superb . Our room was fantastic.

Some more room for suitcase storage in the bedroom might have been helpful and a toilet at beach bar / restaurant level would have been convenient.

This family owned hotel just misses out on getting it totally right. The position of the property is magnificent and the view from the hotel bar and restaurants heavenly. Yet for elderly guests the walk down to the beach and beachside restaurant is demanding. They appears to have envisaged a lift but failed to install it. There is a golf car service but it’s still quite a climb. The service is professional but there doesn’t appear to be a manager or host, just a host of young trainees for the season from Hôtel school who need to be encouraged to greet the guests with a smile. The restaurant is hugely expensive and pretty average. Catch of the day was 200 euros (1.2 kilo fish) and the chicken Caesar was raw with the skin on (not the breast we expected). The lobster roll didn’t appear to have any lobster in it and was burnt. With just a little attention to detail, this place could wonderful. There is a magnificent beach with great bathing but no facilities by the beach other than beds. The villa comes without any daily service which after 4 days gets a bit grubby.

The hotel is highly overpriced. The service does not match the price. The pools are only for children. The beach is inconvenient and boats are parked on it. There is a smell in all the rooms!!!! There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which is connected to the room. There is a smell in all the rooms, and when we tried to change or refund our money, we were laughed at. The breakfast starts later than advertised, after 8 a.m. The selection is poor. The mattresses and pillows are old and made of foam. They charged 120 euros for a beach chair for 2 hours!!!!!!! The meat was overcooked in the restaurant, and they didn't know how to make cocktails at the bar. They didn't return the 400-euro deposit after a week!!!!! And they still keep sending messages

Wunderschöne Lage am Hang mit tollem Blick auf Propriano. Hotelanlage mit Pools und eigenem Strandbereich sehr gut angelegt, man findet sein ruhiges Eckchen. Der Empfang mit Welcome Drink und einer kaltgestellten Flasche Wein war ausgesprochen angenehm. Nette Live-Musik an einem Abend an der Bar. Das Abendessen im Beach Restaurant war gut, aber das Dinner im La Verriere Restaurant war definitiv am oberen Rand des ersten Michelin-Sterns. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für das Hotel selbst haben wir im Korsikavergleich als fair empfunden.

Lediglich die Preise fürs Frühstück, in der Beachbar und im Beach Restaurant sind doch vergleichsweise hoch, sonst ist nichts Negatives anzumerken.

Ontbijt was een beetje overrated. Klein buffet met veel gebak. In de nabije omgeving was geen mogelijkheid om te ontbijten, dus we hadden niet echt een keuze om wel of niet van het ontbijt gebruik te maken. De 5 sterren van dit hotel zijn denk ik te danken aan de keuken. De kamers daarentegen en de service was gemiddeld, eerder 3 sterren, zeker geen 5 sterren beleving. De kamer was zeer outdated en onpraktisch. Nog nooit zo'n klein toilet gezien. Service overall is niet echt een warm 5-sterren bad. Je voelt je hier eerder een toerist dan een gewaardeerde gast. Aan de hospitality valt nog veel te verbeteren. Het hotel maakt gebruik van een app, als service, die nog niet helemaal uitontwikkeld is... Ik zou eerder meer inzetten in een warmer onthaal en consistentere service.

The gym is poor for this property . It is due a bit of an update I. The common areas. Not a problem for us but lots of steps to the beach and the lift wasn’t working.

- Chambre avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. - Belle plage de sable composée de petites criques, mer magnifique et fréquentation faible lors de notre séjour (12 au 26 juillet), ce qui était très agréable. - Deux restaurants : un étoilé où nous avons mangé deux fois, raffiné et excellent. Le restaurant de plage, La Paillote, ouvert toute la journée, propose un menu varié avec des produits de qualité. - Personnel très agréable, attentif, toujours souriant et prêt à aider. Service impeccable dans les restaurants. - Grand spa bien équipé (piscine, pièce et mur de glace, sauna, hammam, terrasse extérieure). - Hôtel bien situé sur la pente dominant le golf de Valeno, offrant de superbes vues depuis toutes les terrasses.

- Salle de sport minimaliste pour ce standing, très petite et mal équipée : un set d’haltères (4 à 12 kg), un vélo et une machine à step. - Service en chambre limité pour un 5★ (produits de douche parfois manquants, bouteille d'eau pas toujours remplacées). - Accès à la plage uniquement par 132 marches à descendre… puis à remonter. Un ascenseur existe mais n’était pas en service. - Chambre de luxe trop petite (24 m²) : difficile d’y circuler, porte d'entrée heurtant le mur. Toilettes à l’entrée très exiguës. Pas de miroir en pied (un nous a été livré sur demande), pas de miroir de courtoisie. Dressing trop réduit pour un séjour de deux semaines. - Chambre donnant sur le bar : nuisances sonores jusque tard dans la nuit (après minuit). - Réservation des transats sur la plage facturée 60 € par jour en supplément! - Wi-Fi lent et non disponible dans tout l’établissement.

Mezcla de muchos estilos, no se sabe muy bien qué tipo de hotel quiere ser. En todas las piscinas hay niños y familias, y también hay gente que va a comer al restaurante del hotel pero luego se quedan igualmente y ocupan las piscinas del mismo, y lo acaba convirtiendo en un sitio vulgar sin un solo rincón en el que relajarse del todo.

Fantastic location. Excellent service. Great rooms, pools and beach. Breakfast is heavy on pastries and breads as becomes the French cuisine. At the restaurant the risotto dish was very good. The linguine with clams is not very good.

A very Special Spot to visit, maybe it would be better to exchange a few young employees with professionell ones

We visited with an infant and a child and stayed in the family suite for a week. The hotel was an hour away from Figari Airport where we landed and 3.5 hours to Bastia Airport where we departed from. The roads were in good condition and the long drives were not as bad as I had imagined. The family suite was beautifully decorated and spacious enough for a family of four. It was very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the extra large balcony overlooking the ocean. The bathroom was large enough with a double vanity, a walk-in shower, a tub and a separate toilet area. They provided Clarins toiletries and Le Petit Prince kids toiletries and everything was replenished daily except for conditioner and body lotion for some reason. But they were happy to provide when asked. There was a mini bar in the room and glass water bottles were provided per day. Housekeeping was efficient and there was an evening turn down service as well. We loved everything about the room except the AC and venting were weak for a 5 star property. The grounds and facilities are meticulously maintained and well taken care of. The reception and concierge were professional and helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful views from every level of the property as it is laid out on a hill. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the service was prompt and efficient. We tried both restaurants, and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Restaurant La Paillote had more of a relaxed vibe with an excellent view of the ocean. The food was amazing. We particularly enjoyed all the pasta dishes including ravioli and spaghetti. We enjoyed the molecular cuisine served at Restaurant La Verriere. The presentation and attention to details were mind blowing. We had our child with us and the staff were very kind to let him enjoy his moment at the kitchen as well. The hotel beach is very private and absolutely stunning. The blue water and the golden sand were just beautiful. We drove around to many parts of Corsica but the hotel beach was our favourite beach due to its privacy and exclusivity. We paid for the cabana to enjoy the private beach and it was totally worth it in my opinion for a family with children. It was very comfortable and the beach boys provided an excellent service. We ordered drinks, food and ice cream to the beach and they were delivered promptly. The coconut ice cream was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the facial I received from Clarins Spa at the hotel. The therapist was professional and attentive. I was able to relax using their indoor pool, sauna, steam room and ice room. The valet boys were very hard working and efficient, making it a breeze to get in and out of the hotel. There was an electric vehicle charging station. There were several small pools which made it more private and we were the only ones in the pool most of the time. All of them had amazing views of the ocean. It wasn’t the most family friendly hotels we have been to due to the elevation of the property and how it is laid out on a hill but we managed to push the stroller all the way down and just had to fold the stroller to take stairs down to the beach. The walks were enjoyable through the beautifully landscaped gardens and the beach boys were always willing to help.

The experience was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and always ready to help with any query. The facilities were of the highest quality, can’t recommend enough!

We wish we could give higher than just average, because this property is absolutely beautiful! It’s very modern and updated and comfortable. And it’s in a fabulous location with calm waters and nice beach access and beds/chairs. The views are simply amazing! The food and drink selection is very good too. But service training is definitely recommended, to really boost this place to what it could be. Attentiveness is so crucial when on your vacation, and with some service focused tweaking, this would really make this beautiful property spectacular.

Hôtel magnifique et vue extraordinaire

Beautiful resort with gorgeous views. The balcony was lovely. Convenient location with short drive to Propriano and Sartene. A couple negatives- not enough pool chairs and beach chairs must be rented (40 euro/day). Beach restaurant and drinks are priced a bit too high. Be aware there are a lot of stairs to get to the restaurants, pools and beaches.

A magnificent hotel- true to its 5 star status. Wonderful amenities, staff and food. Nothing to fault. Recommend to anyone that appreciates luxury without pretentiousness. I would return in a heartbeat- but need to get back to work to afford to visit next year!

The service was awful for a 5 star hotel. Staff's English is very poor and at times they come across rude. Waiting times at the beach club restaurant were awful. Well over 30 minutes to get service.

We had a wonderful time at Marinca together with my partner and our two dogs. The hotel is gorgeous and very well located with a wonderful beach! Staff of the hotel were really incredible and very kind and friendly - we have never been to a more dog friendly hotel anywhere else in the world before! The views were amazing, SPA was great and staff was very well trained. Rooms were new and bright and kept very clean with cleaning service twice a day. The hotel offers free valet service which was very convenient. Very good food and overall the facilities were amazing.

Great stay so little scope for improvement. Only the gym is rather small and not well equipped so this is one area of improvement. I didn’t always have water and had no cleaning wipes etc to use after exercising to wipe the machines. The room is great but the bathroom would get „flooded” after every shower, which could perhaps be improved.

We had an amazing stay at Marinca. We were traveling with my sisters son who is 1 and a half years and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was beautiful and clean. The first pool was perfect for lounging in the sun since the pool was so shallow that the baby could play while we watched him. The beach is beautiful and the sand perfect, made from miniature pebbles that don’t stick to the skin and doesn’t get everywhere. We loved the restaurant at the beach with stunning views and great food. 10/10 would recommend!

We arrived 11:30pm at the hotel due to a 6 hour flight delay at Paris CDG airport. The male concierge reception staff that checked us into our hotel room Friday was amazing. The bar and restaurant was closed, but concierge made us 2 cocktails and cheese and cold cuts charcuterie board. However that’s when the good customer service stopped. We never received a tour of the hotel compound from reception desk staff. Then we were never informed about any Spa services by the reception desk staff. Next, we were not informed that we had to reserve day beds at the beach a day prior. Private beach was amazing. Super safe to leave our valuables on towels since we had no day bed. The WiFi internet at hotel was horrendous. I could not connect to WiFi and I didn’t have cellular service. Hotel staff didn’t care I could not connect to WiFi. Internet is a necessity in this modern age to research reservations for restaurants, bars, and driving routes. But the most appalling behaviour from Hôtel reception desk staff was check out process. I went to front desk if I should call from my room phone to have a bellboy bring my luggage to reception lobby to get our luggage into car. They said, “yes of course please call.” But in reality when I called the front desk from my room phone the front desk receptionist said, “no it’s impossible I cannot get collect your luggage and haul it to front desk reception check out area.” So I had to hand carry to my heavy luggage up 30 steps of stairs to lobby!

Stayed for a week in July 2024, What a lovely Hotel, could not be more welcoming, staff First class, nice relaxing slightly secluded setting, easy access via a small reliably run boat to the lively port across the bay if wanted. Gastronomic food if you like it, many other food choices if not, always served with a great friendly, attentive service. It was nice not to have to rush to get beds by the pools, always some available, the external areas, restaurants, bars and rooms kept immaculately clean and tidy. A top end Hotel for a top end stay Maybe a silly thing to comment on, however the internal areas have many steps to different levels, many in the same floor finish, often both we and we saw others, to differentiate between the step levels, resulting in stumbling down or up, could be nasty after a drink or two ! The staff often mentioned ‘ Watch the steps ‘ some additional flush step marker discs would not go a miss !

Lovely staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and the views wonderful.

My wife struggled with the 180 steps from the beach to our room. The Paillote restaurant wasn’t great; (all meat dishes bien cuit). Lunch menu could have been different to evening menu with simpler dishes; salads, pizza etc

- SUNBEDS on the beach are TO PAY - NO 5 STAR hotel feeling, its a very old hotel which was recently renovated, all the premesis are rather narrow (entrance, rooms, corridors, terrace…) - the whole corridor in the 1. basement was really smelling/stanky (i think according to much humiditiy, questionable mold?) - climatisation sometimes inefficient/at night sometimes there was also a bad smell in the room (smells like from canalisation…) - for about 500 euro/night in june without breakfast and sunbeds its absolutely overpaid in my opinion, in this price segment you normally get much better hotels

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Marinca Hotel, and our experience was largely positive. The staff at the hotel truly stood out for their friendliness, genuine care, and professionalism. It was evident that they consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort, making us feel valued and special. The two restaurants of the hotel were nice and breakfast was nice too. We particularly enjoyed the hotel's private beach, which offered a breathtaking view and a serene atmosphere, allowing us to relax and unwind. The spa was also very nice and relaxing. To top it all off, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a larger suite than we had initially booked. The suite was very spacious and well equipped, and had a big terrace with beautiful views over the gulf. The romantic dinner organised by the hotel on the private beach for my wife and I was a delightful experience and we absolutely loved it.

Due to the location of our suite next to the lobby and bar, we experienced noise disturbances on the last three nights of our stay because of a large group having a hard time containing their voices (especially on the final night, when we had to contact the reception). This felt a bit underwhelming and not in line with the standing of the hotel.

The view, the restaurant, excellent massage, TV with Netflix and Canal plus to sign in my own account. Beach was superb. Staff extremely well trained and professional.

I had allergy from the dirty sheets. Some of the room service staff were too lazy to get us our requests. No elevator with too many stairs to the beach.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. Great view but underwhelming.

The hotel is gorgeous. We had a beautiful room with and amazing view. The room had every amenity you could think of. It was clean, new and wonderful. The food at the restaurants was delicious . The service was impeccable.

Das Marinca ist ein elegantes und mondänes Hotel. Bezaubernd und beeindruckend sind sein genialer Blick auf die Bucht von Propriano die man von (m.E.) allen Zimmern und den Balkonen hat . Der Strand ist ein Traum und erinnert mit seinen Felsen etwas an die Seychellen, nur der Sand ist gröber. Letztere wird tgl. gereinigt. Das Beachrestaurant La Pailotte bietet ein hervorragendes Essen und ein wunderbares leichtes Erlebnis von Dinner am Meer. Ein Board und ein Paddelboot laden zum aktiven Erholen ein. Das Personal ist jung und engagiert. Der Spa bietet Ruhe und Entspannung auf hohem Niveau. Aber … dem Anspruch Nummer 21 der besten Hotels in Frankreich zu sein genügt es nicht. Zu viele Kleinigkeiten irritierten uns als Gäste. Dazu zählte leider auch die klare Ansage des Managers on duty über genau diesen Fakt: We are the Best. Leider wurde das was die Bewertung gebracht hat - das Hotel mit seinen Leistungen nicht vorgestellt . Bei einem verwinkelten Bau unglücklich. Die Grundsanierung ist doch schon etwas her. Die Schirme am Strand muss man sich selbst richten und leider sind nur ca. 30 Liegen am Stand erlaubt. Keine Einschränkung: die Poollandschaft ist traumhaft und verfügt über viele abwechslungsreiche Liegemöglichkeiten. Fazit: Ein bisschen mehr Zurückhaltung des Managements würde Sympathien heben.
