Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Un hôtel particulièrement bien situé, en haut de la rue de la République, à deux pas de la place de l'Horloge, du quartier historique et du palais des papes. Le personnel, à l'accueil est très souriant et sympathique, toujours prêt à répondre à vos attentes.
Ma chambre était petite, la cabine de douche étroite (je ne suis pourtant pas bien gros) et mériterait un petit rafraichissement. Il faut parfois s'y prendre à plusieurs fois pour actionner la clé électronique qui ouvre l'hôtel (de nuit) et la chambre avec un QR code (veiller à ne pas avoir la batterie du smartphone à plat)

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Super Hotel sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Avignon mit einem netten Empfang. Die Zimmer sind sehr charmant eingerichtet und es war alles sehr sauber. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zimmer sehr groß. Über die besondere Situation mit der Anreise wurde bereits vor dem Aufenthalt sehr gut informiert. Man kann nicht direkt am Hotel parken, was aber auf die meisten Hotels in der Altstadt von Avignon zutrifft. Stattdessen muss man in einem der vorgeschlagenen Parkhäuser parken. Nur vor 11 Uhr kann man vor dem Hotel ausladen, ansonsten ist die Altstadt für Autos gesperrt. Uns hat das nicht gestört, weil das Parkhaus nur 5 Minuten vom Hotel weg ist und man auf den normalen Tagespreis (ca. 20 €) noch 20 % Rabatt vom Hotel bekommt. Die Zimmer werden mit QR Codes geöffnet, die man vor der Ankunft bereits per Mwil bekommt. Falls man kein Handy hat, bekommt man die QR Codes bei der Ankunft ausgedruckt.
Es war Nachts etwas laut, da durch die zentrale Lage zum Einen noch nachts relativ viele Leute unterwegs waren und morgens die Stadtreinigung unterwegs war. Also am Besten mit geschlossenem Fenster und Klimaanlage schlafen.

With no parking facilities which I can understand for the location, it cost me 65 euros for parking 2 nights at the Las Halles parking which is the closest, and thats with the hotels discount. Getting there from the car park is a bit of a trek, and we suffered 38 degrees whilst we where there, but saying that I can only say the posative far outways this negative.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026The staff was friendly and they explained everything. The location of this hotel was excellent. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and the housekeeping was efficient.
The parking was a fiasco at first because we had difficulty accessing the garages recommended by the hotel. It is also about a 7-8 minute walk so with luggage it’s not totally fun. It’s unavoidable though. Although the rooms were very clean, the furnishings were definitely dated. Despite this, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Bring your own tissues. They don’t give you

Die Straße ist ab 11 Uhr gesperrt und die Parkhäuser sind nur 1.90m hoch. Das passte leider nicht für unseren Van. Das Badezimmer sollte bald mal renoviert werden...

1 seule prise de chaque côté du lit #lampe de chevet+portable impossible, dont un des côtés du lit trop éloigné de la prise! Odeur de renfermé dans la salle de bain et de moisi, ce n’est pas acceptable au vu du prix de la chambre.

Rezeption und gleichzeitig Frühstücksraum in einem. Da ist es nicht immer ruhig bzw. war der Platz etwas knapp. Von der Straße kommt man praktisch direkt in den Frühstücksraum. Das fand ich nicht gut!

Le stanze che ho prenotato per noi e i nostri amici erano veramente piccole e obsolete. I miei amici hanno avvertito odore di muffa entrando, il condizionatore non rendeva e per rinfrescare, entrambi abbiamo dovuto impostarlo ad una temperatura molto bassa. Il letto della camera dei miei amici era sfondato da una parte. Nel nostro bagno un'anta della doccia era staccata dal box e, attaccata solo in alto, dondolava pericolosamente. Chi fa le pulizie dovrebbe avvertire la reception, perché è veramente pericoloso.

Ouverture des portes difficile avec le QR Code qu’on doit avoir sur son téléphone portable. J’ai failli ne pas pouvoir rentrer car mon téléphone n’avait plus de batterie le soir! Peu de gel douche fourni quand on doit prendre deux douches (avec la chaleur et longue marche pour les visites).

The room was small, everything was cheap , the bed ,the furniture, only one pillow which was actually a cushion inside a pillowcase. The bathroom was terrible the bath had been painted and was slippy to stand on, no safety rails, the walls were painted a dreary brown

I booked hotel because it had an elevator and I am elderly. But the elevator only went to the 4th floor, and I had to climb a flight of stairs to my room. I would not book again unless guaranteed room was on floor where elevator stops. Also, when you use toilet, you are up against the wall - a little more space would be better.

Publicité mensongère concernant le parking. Ils n'en ont pas C'est un parking public à plus de 500m de l'hôtel et pas d'accès pour déposer les bagages après 11h. Si vous avez un badge de téléphone vous ne pouvez même pas avoir la réduction qu'on vous promet sur le mail envoyé la veille pour vous informer que c'est un parking public et reçu trop tard pour annuler la réservation. De plus certaines chambres sont sous les toits et le dernier étage sans ascenseur et l'escalier presque en colimaçon. Il ne faut pas dépasser 50 kg et 1m60 pour rentrer dans la douche et pouvoir aller au toilette L'hôtel tombe en ruine. C'est une usine à cash. Ne devrait pas apparaître sur booking.com et encore moins en tant que 3 étoiles. Certes pas cher mais le problème est surtout la publicité mensongère sur les équipements.
