En esta ocasión la calidad precio no fue la mejor, la verdad que la vez anterior salimos muy contentos, lamento no poder decir lo mismo en esta ocasión. La habitación tenía algunos problemas de aire, y en el baño, y la verdad que muy oscura. La comida tampoco está muy buena, si había variedad, pero la calidad no era mejor.

I have been to hundreds of hotels in my life all over the world this hotel is simply the worst! The staff's attitude is terrible, there is really no way to describe the disgusting receptionist who was there and she is the most unhelpful thing there is! The room I got had hair on the pillows and sheets and in general the room was dirty and had an unpleasant smell. Stay away from the place! There are enough other hotels nearby!

Good value for money but not a 4* hotel. Great location as the beach is idyllic and the locals are friendly.Room was always cleaned with friendly cleaners. However the waitresses rude and abrupt. Definitely a German/Spanish resort. If you are English you are made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome by staff and visiters.I have never experienced this before. So avoid if you want a happy holiday.

All inclusive finishes at 12.00.on the day of check out. It is not normal because usually good hotels let keep the wristband and have lunch and dinner in case of late flight. This hotel is greedy and offer this service for money after check out.

Esperamos una hora para poder entrar en la habitación a nuestra llegada. Nunca me había pasado. De resto, todo bien, acorde al precio pagado.

En general todo bien. Me gustó mucho la ubicación, el personal, las instalaciones, animación, los horarios del servicio todo incluido, las habitaciones, la limpieza…

Lo único que no me gustó fueron las comidas en el restaurante, poca variedad y la calidad no era buena.

Scelto appositamente per l'accesso pianeggiante alla spiaggia. Buono il servizio all inclusive con alcune bevande. Cibo abbastanza vario, pesce sempre presente.

Pulizia e attenzione ai dettagli decisamente da migliorare. In piscina parecchi mosquitos non so se era un problema legato al periodo o alle piante ma c'erano solo lì, in spiaggia o all'esterno della struttura no. Le consumazioni in drink/cocktail comprese (max 2 a px) non erano granchè e soprattutto non venivano realizzate secondo quanto indicato nel menù.

We had a room with the pool in front of us. There were also sunbeds free all day, although towels were put out to reserve beds by the pool and with the sun shades. The food was very good and the entertainment varied. Had two good evenings out of three. A guitarist who also sang one night, then 3 young men doing acrobats very good. Also, one day time a violinist around the pool and one evening guitarist in the restaurant. The staff were all friendly expecially the receptionist when checking in.

Pool buffet very basic, although we didn't use it. The music from the pool bar was too loud.

Der Personalmangel besonders im Housekeeping, das Zimmer war am Anreisetag erst um 16.30 fertig und wurde täglich nur sehr knapp gereinigt.Das Personal kann aber nichts dafür, die waren bemüht es trotzdem gut zu machen. Beim Zimmerwechsel/Upgrade das gleiche Spiel. Zimmer war erst um 18.30! fertig, obwohl ich das Upgrate am Abend zuvor gemacht habe und das Zimmer da bereits frei war....Ich wurde ab morgens immer wieder vertröstet, das kanneinfach nicht sein, wenn man sogar für den Tag extra für das bezahlt hat, und dannerst um18.30 umziehen kann

Lo que me gustó, fue la cercanía a la playa y el acceso que tiene a la avenida sin tener que dar toda la vuelta al hotel, las 3 piscinas que tiene y el gran numero de hamacas que tiene por las 3 piscinas.

La verdad que para ser la cadena Lopesan y un 4 estrellas deja muchísimo que dejar. El día que hicimos el chekin, la recepcionista era la ley del mínimo esfuerzo, en ningún momento nos indicó los horarios de las comidas, simplemente se limito a decirnos donde estaba el buffet, cuando nos dijo la habitación, la miré y le dije que como podía ir ya que era la primera vez que estaba en ese hotel. Seguimos con la habitación, donde solo hay 2 enchufes, para el secador y la tv y si quieres enchufar algo búscate la vida. Los baños siguen con bañera, cosa que es un problema si vas con persona de movilidad reducida. Las camas son HORRIBLES! Tienen ya el hueco del centro echo, se te clavan todos los muelles de la cama y es imposible descansar. Encima uno de los chicos del grupo con el que fuimos tenia variadas picadas por el cuerpo y eran de chinches. En la piscina el primer día que llegamos, había un erizo muerto en el paterre y olía super mal, aparte de las mil moscas que habían y picaban. Los trabajadores poco amables y van a su rollo, apenas te saludan cuando entras al buffet. Sinceramente una estaca.

La limpieza del hotel. Encontrarme una cucaracha en mi habitación de madrugada y otra al lado de mi mesa durante el desayuno. El ruido de las cañerías toda la noche que no nos dejaron descansar y lo que es peor, oír lo que se hacía en el baño de la planta superior con total claridad. Que aún pagando el todo incluido, muchísimas cosas eran de pago y estaban fuera del servicio. Y las condiciones de la habitación: para ser un 4 estrellas tenía varios desperfectos.

The worst experience was right after arrival: instead of the selected extra-paid room with a garden view, we were given an almost underground room with a view of the wall (from the door), without windows. Dark dungeon. It was possible to solve this only next day by changing the room and paying another extra fee. The reception was unable to find a potty and a high chair for the children. Hotel was clean. The main meals were excellent, the snacks could have been better. For children only overly sweetened drinks, we diluted it with water to make it drinkable. But that's everywhere... Children appreciated the heated pool. Good location. Good staff.

The hotel location was wonderful and the food was very tasty, but Manuel (bald guy with glasses), who worked in the dining area, was a very unpleasant man. Lunch was served until 3:00 PM, and we arrived at 2:40 PM thinking we could quickly eat something in 5 minutes because we were not very hungry. Manuel apparently thought we wouldn’t understand the Spanish expression “¿Ahora?!” and started looking at his watch in an annoyed way because he had already set the tables. We still had 20 minutes to calmly finish our lunch, but we felt rushed because of the way he was looking at us. After that, for the rest of our stay, he behaved very strangely — either being overly fake-friendly or making fun of us. This man should not be working in this hotel if he dislikes his job so much.

Прекрастный отдых, прекрастный отель. Понравилось всё! Единственное при заезде попрасили залог 50 евро, было неожиданно, теперь будем ждать возвращение залога назад на карту.

El hotel no es muy grande y está bien reformado. He de decir que el personal fue realmente amable, un 10. La limpieza estupenda. Ubicación buena con puerta de acceso a la playa. La comida era demasiado repetitiva, cada día prácticamente lo mismo. Una de las piscinas estaba cerrada por obras de reforma/mantenimiento; entiendo que cuando esté operativa se notará la mejora, ya que una sola piscina tan pequeña se hace poco.

No he puesto una peor nota por el excelente trato del personal. Pero nuestra indignación el último día fue tremenda. Pasamos 3 días en el hotel con un tiempo realmente horrible (no es culpa del hotel, cosas que pasan), la ultima noche nos despierta la alarma del hotel de madrugada. Todos los clientes en pijama en los pasillos, mi hijo de 6 años llorando en la habitación del susto. La alarma no paraba y no sabíamos que pasaba. Al parecer algún cliente decidió fumar de madrugada en su habitación, lo que hizo saltar la alarma de incendios y despertar a todo el hotel. Al día siguiente teníamos el check out a las 12.00. Recogimos nuestras cosas y fuimos a recepción a las 11.00 a entregar la llave de la habitación. Entonces nos pide las toallas de la piscina y se dispone a cortar nuestra pulsera ya que debemos abandonar el hotel. He de decir que es la primera vez en mi vida que me pasa algo así en un todo incluido. Entiendo que debemos dejar la habitación (aunque muchos hoteles incluso tienen la deferencia de ofrecerte una habitación de cortesía hasta más tarde para dejar tus cosas, entiendo que no están obligados a ello). Pero que tengamos que abandonar el hotel me parece una verdadera vergüenza. Jamás me había pasado algo así. Le expuse que llevábamos 3 días con un tiempo horrible y era el primer día que salía el sol, que teníamos un niño de 6 años que no había podido disfrutar de la piscina, que la noche anterior nos pegamos un susto de muerte y no pudimos descansar nada. No pido hacer uso del comedor ese día, pero qué mínimo después de lo sucedido que tener la decencia de permitir que disfrutemos con el niño de unas horas de piscina antes de marcharnos el único día que sale el sol. Esperaba una disculpa por la noche anterior y me encuentro con que nos echaron a la calle como agua sucia. Sigo sin entender esa necesidad de hacerte marchar con tremendo mal sabor de boca de un hotel.

We recently stayed at the IFA Altamarena Hotel as a family with a toddler and overall had a really enjoyable holiday. The biggest positive is definitely the location. The hotel is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach, which is absolutely beautiful with soft sand and plenty of space. It made it really easy going back and forth during the day with a young child. The heated pool was another highlight for us, especially in the mornings before the day fully warmed up. Our son really enjoyed the pools that were open during our stay, and the entertainment staff were brilliant with children. The mini disco in the evenings became one of the highlights of the holiday for him and created a lovely family atmosphere around the hotel. The hotel itself was generally clean and comfortable, and we found it to be a relaxed base for exploring Jandía. There are also shops, bars and places to walk nearby which made the area feel convenient without being too busy. The only real downside for us was the food. While there was always something to eat, we found the buffet quite repetitive over the course of the week and not as varied or flavourful as other all-inclusive hotels we’ve stayed in previously. Also, the deepest pool was closed for renovation during our stay, which was a bit disappointing, although it didn’t affect our son’s enjoyment as the other pools remained open. Overall, we would still recommend the hotel, particularly for families with young children or anyone wanting a great beach location and friendly entertainment team. If the food offering was improved slightly, we would happily return.

This was my second stay at IFA Altamarena and I must admit it surpassed the first visit! While I had no complaints about my first time, I thought it was even better this time around. I love the hotel, whilst arguably it is of its time (I think built in the 90s), nonetheless it is always clean and well kept, the big lobby with its palm trees, tall atrium and comfortable seats is lovely but for me what makes this place special is the secluded garden and pool area. The hotel turns its back on the busy street and it creates a lovely, relaxed garden with lots of plants. For us a plus are the resident cats, so friendly and well-minded. Rooms are spacious with good bathrooms and powerful showers. The first year we had a ground floor family room with a terrace and the second time a second floor balcony, both facing the garden/pool, both lovely. Nice touches are the bottles of water, fridge and nice toiletries. The housekeeping staff are always on hand for anything you need. Other big plusses for me; the side access to the beach, you can be swimming in the sea after a five minute walk, and back at the pool for a shower, so convenient. The location is right in Morro Jable with all its great shops, and you can take lovely walks along the promenade, to the lighthouse, down the beach, etc. The gardens as mentioned are lush and lovely, there are nice little areas for the kids with volleyball, outdoor chess, shuffleboard, boules. Lots of activities/entertainment every day. There are always lots of sun loungers around the pool. The big pool is usually too chilly for me around Easter but there is a smaller heated pool which is great. The all inclusive system is fantastic value; big breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets with soft drinks, wine and beer, snacks at the pool cabana all day and soft drinks and cocktails at the pool bar and in the evening great entertainment at the bar with kids' discos and live acts, again all inclusive drinks. Normally onsite entertainment isn't our cup of tea but I must admit the buzz was infectious. Staff are always helpful, for example both times as we checked in they immediately sent us into the restaurant so we would get lunch, and allowed us to use the breakfast before it opened when we had early flights. There is limited paid parking at the hotel but there is free street parking and a large open yard area across the road where you'll usually find a spot, except when it is used as a market on Thursday mornings. Overall I've been twice and will definitely go again, I love this part of the world and I really love this hotel; perhaps not as fancy as others and not perfect but unbelievable value and always a fun and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

I honestly don’t understand how this hotel is advertised as a 4-star property - in reality, it barely meets a 1-star standard. The only positive thing I can mention is the location, which is actually quite good. Everything else? A huge disappointment. First shock upon arrival: we were asked to pay a €50 deposit with no proper explanation. Supposedly refundable, but we are still waiting for the money to be returned. Also, you can only pay this deposit by credit card, which makes zero sense and feels unnecessarily restrictive. Now let’s talk about the “all inclusive” because this is where it becomes almost ridiculous. You still have to pay extra for multiple things: cocktail of the day? Paid ice cream? Paid wine during lunch/dinner? Paid So what exactly is included? The facilities are outdated and poorly maintained. One elevator was broken, and the other one looked older than me and felt unsafe to use. Cleanliness is also questionable -in the evenings there are cockroaches literally everywhere around the property. Another serious issue: stray cats wandering around the hotel. I understand some people may find them cute, but these were aggressive. I personally witnessed a cat attack a woman near the pool. This is not acceptable in a hotel of any standard. Food was extremely disappointing. Very repetitive, low quality, and often simply inedible. Soups were tasteless, pizza undercooked, and overall selection very limited. Breakfast was the only somewhat acceptable option because at least you could make a basic sandwich. We paid for all inclusive and ended up eating mostly fries and pizza - that says everything. On top of that, food often ran out. If you came later to breakfast, you had to deal with leftovers and very limited choice. And to make things even worse- even coffee was often unavailable. Imagine staying at a hotel and not being able to get a simple coffee when you want one. Entertainment was also very poor - low effort and clearly targeted at an older audience (mostly 60+). If you’re in your 20s, 30s, or even 40s, this place is absolutely not for you. Reading other reviews now, I can see many guests complaining about the same issues: outdated rooms, poor hygiene, rude or indifferent staff, lack of real all-inclusive value, and overall very low standards. Save your money and go somewhere else. This hotel is simply not worth it.

We spent 11 nights from March 21st to April 1st 2026. We booked a garden view room on the 3rd floor. On arrival at 11pm there was no food available and the AI had finished. The furnishings in our room were tired and needed updating. We found that there are positive and negative points for this hotel. These are: Positives *Great position for the lovely beach 100m away *Plenty of sunbeds available *The hotel, grounds and public areas are clean *Breakfast was probably the tastiest meal of the day Negatives *Food in the restaurant is very repetitive and poor quality (lunch and evening dinner) pork, chips, overcooked pizza was served most days. Little or no variety for guests. *The hotel snack bar which is by the children’s pool also provided poor quality and unvaried food. *The hotel bar is in a separate building from the hotel. We found it to be an unpleasant dark depressing building. *Typical AI local alcoholic brands drinks poor quality *Many hotel staff that we encountered appeared to be miserable towards us (this maybe because we were British as the vast majority of guests at the hotel were German. The hotel is geared up for German guests. Conclusion In our opinion this is not a 3*plus hotel which the Tui web site states. The sign at the front of the hotel states that it is a 4* hotel. It is at best only a 3* hotel. The negative points stated above far out-way the positive points. If you’re paying for AI then you want much better quality than this hotel provides. We will not be returning to this hotel. Pay a little bit more money and stay at a better quality hotel. This hotel is not worth your hard earned money.

Just back from 2 weeks stay at the hotel. Location excellent right by a lovely beach and plenty of shops. Room spacious with a large bathroom we had great views from our balcony of the pool and the sea. Plenty of variety at meal time especially the fish dishes. Hotel always kept clean. Staff were all very friendly a special mention to Luca who kept us entertained of an evening. Could do with a few English channels on the TV. Enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked to return in November

There is no way on this planet that this is a 4* hotel. Only if you compare to Butlins!! Hotel is dated and in dire need of an upgrade, Air-conditioning was usless, set at 0c room still 26c. 2 plug sockets in room, 1 in bathroom 1 in living/sleeping area, ,Dirty cups/glasses left in corridors for days on end. Restaurant was pure chaos, not enough staff to clean tables and re-set for next ppl. The food was always cold, and I know AI can get repetitive however, pork for lunch, pork for dinner, nealry every single day of the week is a bit much. The only good thing about this hotel is the entertainment guy, the only happy member of staff in the entire complex. I am no holiday snob and yes you get what you pay for, but this is the worst place I have ever stayed (Bulins excluded)

Where do i start with this hotel. Location is good for the beach shops etc. The hotel its self is not so good. THE ROOMS Defo need an upgrade very basic clean but basic only 3 plug sockets in the bedroom 1 is for the fridge one is behind the sofa and the other in-between the 2 single beds so bring an extension lead. The beds and pillows are very comfy. The shower over bath was powerful but you had to be careful as the water got extremely hot then went cold RESTAURANT in our opinion this could of been improved the themed nights weren't very good chinese night was spring rolls and a very watery curry. The Mexican night consisted off deep fried jalapeño and cream cheese. Tortilla chips and tasteless sauces. ENTERTAINMENT only one guy doing all the activities he was quite good tho. BAR STAFF There wasn't enough staff on at the start of the night meaning massive queues quite a few of the young male staff were extremely rude and abrupt particularly elier (think that's how his name was spelt.)On a few occasions he actually argued with us. (Most of the staff were good just the few let your hotel down) We asked for a dissarono and pepsi zero and a bottle off beer to be told only 2 drinks were allowed (I get the rule but when u get a spirit and a mixer you would class that as one drink ) ALL INCLUSIVE PREMIUM we upgraded to premium before we came to get the top shelf drinks and bottles of soft drinks well worth the upgrade. The thing that let this down was the fact you only had 2 places to get your drinks the pool bar till 7 then the entertainment place till 11. No bar in lobby so if bad weather you had to go outside to get a drink. We booked this hotel as we had stayed in the same chain of hotels in gran canaria thinking the food etc would be something similar how wrong we were. Would we return that's a NO

The room is very noisy, we asked for a garden view and was given a room overlooking a busy road with cars and lorries going past all through the night beeping their horns, The windows are not adequate to stop the noise only stayed here one night and haven't had any sleep, Asked for help at reception, they offered us a move for €50 a night, the customer service is absolutely terrible, think twice before booking especially if you ask for a garden view.

Very good location for beach walks Morro Jable centre Wetlands and lighthouse Scenic views Close to shops buses and taxi rank Relaxing atmosphere around pool and hotel for chilling out and relaxing Lovely pool area and surroundings with a variety of cactuses snd stunning colourful hisbiscus flowers. Grey heron birds nest on the rooftops and visit the gardens. The pool bar serves cruzcampo beer wines cocktails and spirits and the snack bar serves a variety of salads chips pizza ect The dining area is beautiful with a good atmosphere. The reception team and staff overall are pleasant and attentive. The manager in the restaurant always greeted us both in the morning and evening in Spanish which is a nice touch. We particulary enjoyed sitting by the bay windows at the front overlooking the attractive tropical gardens . The rooms were clean and tidy . The rooms by the pool are worth paying the extra for as they have stunning views of the gardens and the Atlantic Ocean. They are quieter too. The evening bar is great. Its dark and good for chilling out. A good variety of enntertainment snd music each evening. The beer is self sevice and pours out well. A good quality cruzcampo brand. All other alcohol drinks are served by the wonderful staff who are always friendly. The moscoskya vodka is excellent. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here and we thank the management and staff for providing us with a lovely holiday experience.

So what can I say about this hotel well nothing really nice apart from the food and that is that if you are ENGLISH PLEASE PLEASE Avoid this hotel it s 99.9 all rude and disgusting German,s they made us feel isolated not wanted some asked was we ENGLISH soon as I reply yes they would turn backs on us stare at us we knew they were making comments about us in there language we was supposed to have gone to Pahoas in Cyprus but because of the war which started had to choose an alternative holiday moulding on bed sheets little insects crawling all over bathroom and bed sheets never had bedding changed the whole week was there and only one set of towels changed clad we brought our own towels air conditioning never worked light switch fell off next to mirror on wall exposing live wires hotel kept more clean outside than inside there was only 3 ENGLISH couples in the whole hotel and they changed their Cyprus holiday last minute to here and too hated every minute they was I could not wait to get back home I do have videos made of the little insects but some reason cannot upload them believe me they was all over our toothbrush s bedding bathroom floor sink towels absolute s___hole John

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week in Jandía, Fuerteventura. Overall, we had a nice holiday, but there were a few positives and negatives worth mentioning. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. The grounds were absolutely impeccable and clearly cared for by hardworking staff. Our room was lovely and the beds were really comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. However, the housekeeping wasn’t the best – our sheets weren’t changed during the entire week, which was a little disappointing. The food was actually very good. As with most all-inclusive hotels it did become a bit repetitive, but everything we tried was tasty and there was always something to eat. The staff throughout the hotel work incredibly hard and most of them were very friendly and welcoming, although some were definitely warmer than others. Entertainment in the evenings was okay but quite limited – it was usually only around two hours per night and not particularly memorable. One thing that might be important for other travellers to know is that the hotel – and much of Jandía in general – is very German-orientated. We didn’t realise this before we arrived. If you’re English and travelling with children, it might not feel like the best fit. We personally enjoy interacting with people and being part of the atmosphere when we travel, and we found that a bit difficult here. That said, the beach is absolutely stunning. We walked for miles along it every day and it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Morro Jable, which is a short walk away, is also fantastic with some great restaurants and bars. My husband is football-mad, and we managed to find a brilliant place showing the Premier League and Champions League – Buddha Bar near Burger King. The staff there were fantastic, really accommodating, and very friendly. Overall, we had a nice break and enjoyed parts of our stay, but it’s probably not somewhere we would return to. If we came back to Fuerteventura, we would likely choose a different resort that suits us a little better.
