The owners where so friendly. And the food was amazing. Everyone on the island is friendly, I felt really welcome 🙏
Ein komfortables Zimmer mit allem was man braucht.
The staff and owners were super friendly and helpful
Restaurant was great
Posizione, ampi spazi, giardino e noleggio bici gratuito
Amazing location! Remote Great hosts and helpful!
Far from everything but that’s the point and could be more comfortable
It’s a beautiful homestay on the lovely island of An Binh. It’s very close to the new ferry, which makes it easy to access. The grounds are beautiful and thoughtfully designed with ponds, flowering gardens and different sitting areas. The rooms are very neat and clean and the food is good. It’s a gem of a place.
Nothing
Very good breakfast. We liked being on the quiet island and catching the ferry.
Everything was fine
Wonderfully helpful owner. Great location to explore on bike or boat.
Nylon sheets and a fairly dirty room
Everything was fine. Just be careful with the bicycles, they are in very poor state
Very nice garden, close to the ferry, very friendly staff. And they have a few very decent bicycles
Could have mosquito nets. There's airco though
The place with it’s big garden is just wonderful. Very clean room. The breakfast is really excellent. Bikes are free, motorbikes 150 000 dongs per day. Nature around is incredibly beautiful, with thousands of canals all around. Perfect for cycling or biking. I strongly recommend!!
Everyone was so nice ! The host really helped us for everything we needed !
Good contact beforehand, easy walk from fun ferry from Vinh Long, very helpful and friendly welcome. Simple room, good food, very quiet and peaceful setting. I even tried fishing! Cycles to borrow and go around the very attractive island. Good boat tour available.
The room was very clean and the bathroom had been newly renovated. The extensive gardens, with plenty of seating, were very nice. Excellent breakfast and very helpful host, who booked our onward travel. We appreciated the bicycle hire (50 VND for entire stay), which was perfect for exploring the beautiful, unspoiled island. 10 minute walk to the Vinh Long ferry, so a great location for seeing the town as well as the island. Good value for money.
There isn’t soundproofing between the rooms so you can hear your neighbours talking. Bring ear plugs if you’re sensitive to noise! The sheets and pillow cases were nylon, which wasn’t very comfortable in hot humid weather.
Very nicely planned property with lots of places for guests to hang out. We booked a Standard Double room but were given a room with 2 double beds. Adequate space to keep luggage and do some unpacking. Good AC (& fan). Clean bathroom. Very nice location - close to ferry from Vinh Long town. Host is an architect and speaks good English. The free bikes are nicely maintained. We loved riding the 2-3 hr loop suggested by the maps provided by the host. Note, some of those paths are narrow, not paved, have a lot of potholes/rough patches. In Mekong Delta, enjoyed this island of An Binh a lot more than Ben Tre or Can Tho due to this bike ride along narrow canals, fruit orchards and rural life. Wish we had booked for longer since it is a great place to relax and wind down. Breakfast (vegan) included bread, banana & pineapple slices along with coffee, jam, etc. To get to Ben Tre, we took 2 mototaxis that dropped us to the Futa 08 bus station. Mototaxi was booked by the host (don't rely on Grab in Vinh Long & An Binh). Loved the fact that you had some privacy and could be left alone, but were also in a homestay!
Even though the website says that the property accepts credit card, the host said machine was broken and we ended up paying cash. We had read quite a few other reviews with the same experience. Host wanted to write down our credit card number details if we didn't have cash, but obviously we don't feel comfortable with that option. As expected in a this area, there are plenty of mosquitoes/bugs that prevented us from enjoying the hammocks, outdoor seating.
Very close to the ferry with fantastic breakfast which was included And the meals were « grande cuisine « The owner is always helping us We had free bicycles rides to go around the quiet Binh Island
The washing basin was not in the bath room
The food in the Homestay was excellent
Good activities available, meals were well priced, rooms were spacious, staff very friendly, and free bikes available to cycle round the island.
Would have been nice to have a few other guests, though it was low season, and it would have been nice if there were mosquito net for the beds.
Pleasant welcome. Excellent hospitality
Very slippy under foot. Boat trip wasn't worth the money.
The place was simply perfect. And we got so much kind help. We needed scooters. No problem we got some. We needed a guided tour. No problem we got it. It was really absolutely great. Oh yes, and the food was also great! Refined and tasty. I could not wish more. Thank you!
Breakfast good and plentiful. We stayed for two weeks and they never served the same thing twice in a row. Items off menu for other meals were delicious. There are not a lot of eating options on the island but after two weeks we scoped out everything to be had. The location was lovely and the grounds were beautifully kept. The free bicycles were a bonus.
There were a few things. The owner tries really hard to sell a boat trip that was mediocre at best. We did it the second day just so we could get it over with and not be hassled because I could see from other reviews it was compulsory in a weird way. Secondly on booking.com it says credit cards are accepted but there was a flimsy excuse and I overheard many other people being told his device didn’t work but it was a line. So if you don’t want to go back to the town then bring cash. Thirdly we couldn’t believe he did this but he sold us a bus ticket to Saigon that was the same price as the fancy sleeper bus we came on but it was a combination passenger/cargo van that made a million stops. We were quite ticked about it because he said it went to the centre but we had a long taxi drive after an uncomfortable ride. He also deliberately underestimated the time it would take. We felt let down because we had been good customers. .
Good and friendly

We loved staying here. The breakfast was amazing, the best breakfast so far on our whole stay in SE Asia. We loved the garden area and the room was clean and spacious. We loved the free bicycles and made use of them to cycle around the area. It was a great location, not far from the ferry and we were surprised to find a really good local restaurant within walking distance ( not visible on Google maps). The owner was very helpful, we actually extended our stay here because we loved it so much!!!
Nothing at all.
Everithing was amazing :)
Everithing was amazing!
Very helpful owner and staff. Wonderful breakfast daily. Scooter hire is a bonus.
Bed could be more soft, more comfortable.
Cozy , clean, quiete and cheap. The owner is friendly and helpful. The garden in amazing.
Proximity to the ferry. Quiet, but close to the city Centre, especially interesting if you are single among couples and familles.
Sometimes, à few mosquitos at sunset, but the owner supplies à spray.
Lovely home stay, beautiful gardens, great food, very welcoming couple!
The location, close to the ferry port, was very convenient. The house is very nice and surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. The owner is quite helpful and kind. Bicycles were available. Make sure to book your meal in advance!
The mattress was too soft for me and the house restaurant was a bit overpriced compared to what you find around. The breakfast is a continental breakfast, slightly underwhelming. We would have preferred a classic local Vietnamese breakfast.
Great place away from the more commercial side of the Mekong Delta. We loved the food and the boat trip. We cycled round the island, using the homestay's bikes. We felt so at home, we stayed an extra 2 days. Lovely place.
Breakfast: every morning different an very nice. Plenty tea and coffee and nice extra’s like coconut cookies. Very spacious and clean. Very friendly owners. A lot of nature around. 300 meter immediately left from the Ferry. Relatively quiet. You can book a nice boat ride and there are bicycles and motorbikes to rent for fair prices.
- Nice breakfast - Owner is nice and organized moto taxis for us - Free bicycles to explore the island
- A bit noisy - Bathroom could be a cleaner (hairs in the drain) - Wifi somewhat unreliable (this is a remote island so expected..)
Very friendly and supportive host. Even on last minute he organized boat trip and airport transfer with private car
Very nice homestay. The owner is a very kind person and gives useful information. Very supportive. His wife cooks delicious food.
I don't see weak points in this homestay.
The location is great if you enjoy a peaceful place...we do 🙂 The ferries onto the island are constant and there are other ferry ports around the island if you want to be adventurous and go island hopping. Recommend cycling around the island and visiting others. Breakfast varied ,one day was better than the other.
The owner is slightly over enthusiastic, laughing all the time ...you wonder why!😅
Very very friendly host. Nice garden with many seats and very big veranda. It’s very nice also in the evening. And the food, made by the family in Vietnam style, was delicious. We used the bikes to make a big tour over the island. The host gave us a map. An unique experience. And he arranged a boat tour for en us, His sister teached us some vietnamese words. Great hospitality.
No critics
Super nice and helpful host. Beautiful garden. The whole island is just a paradise full of orchards. We can recommend the 4,5h boat tour (400k VND / person) that we booked via the homestay. We asked for a vegetarian breakfast option and it was yummy. Dinner was also very tasty with large portions. We rented bicycles for 50k VND per person. Rooms were basic but proper with kettle, hot water and AC.
Bicycles need some maintenance. One of ours broke on the way and we needed to push it back.
Lovely large homestay (guesthouse attached to family home) with very friendly family, comfortable rooms, breakfast, near the ferry (very short walk), quiet location, free bike hire and suggestions of bike routes. Stayed 2 nights and extended to 3. We cycled all around the island - loads of tiny roads, bridges and lanes to explore to see village life - exactly what we were looking for
Our family stayed at Nam Thanh Homestay and had a wonderful time. The food was wonderful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everyone was so helpful. We had a wonderful boat trip of the area that was organized by the homestay.
HOW CLEAN IT WAS. THE STAFF. THE OWNER HELPED US CARRY OUR MANY LUGGAGES FROM POINT A TO POINT B. MUST STAY!
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.
Beautiful setting with it's own gardens, lots of outdoor seating areas, lots of hammocks dotted around the gardens, felt very peaceful. The owner arranged a boat trip for us with his brother in law which was very pleasant. Bikes were free to borrow, a great way to see the island. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We also had dinner both nights which was delicious.
Beds were too soft and no sheets/duvet cover. Shower wasn't great. Could do with thicker curtains as there was a light that shone directly in...luckily we had eye masks! Bring mosquito repellent!
Just a lovely place
Superb location, just a few minutes walk from the ferry
A nice relaxing place to stay and near the ferry. Owners are very friendly.
Very helpful and friendly owner.
