Cena fantastica, accoglienza super e consigli sugli spostamenti.
Nulla tutta perfetto.
Very good communication with host before arrival. Lovely place. Great location. Very good bikes to rent.

Great support from owner and friendly environment
Everything
The host made me feel at home. If you want to know how it feels like living in the Mekong delta this is the right place. The host prepares delicious food and rents bicycles for a small fee.
Nothing.
La gentillesse de la propriétaire
Superbe homestay !

Lovely location on Am Binh island. Oanh’s food was amazing Free bike hire was great Her brother can give a boat tour of the island There’s pool tables down the road There’s air con The fridge is stocked with liquid supplies
Oahn and her mother were the best hosts you could wish for. The welcome, food, and hospitality 'as your mother would give' Free bicycle loans to travel about. Great private tour arranged to visit Mekong sights with marvelous , English speaking, guide. Oahn organized our onward journey arranging for her friends to give us lifts to the ferry and booking onward coach travel. Thank you so much.
Minus 1 star for shared bathroom.
This was my second time there. It’s a comfortable place easy walking distance from the center. Oanh is a kind and helpful person, she speaks English, she can meet you at the ferry and arrange local tours. She also cooks a good dinner if you want!
The only thing I’d suggest is a wardrobe or something in the rooms. But the second table worked fine.
Oanh is a really nice host, hard working and genuine person. Great food and nice place to chill out.
Luogo rilassante. Gradevoli le amache. Persone gentili ed accoglienti. Bella casa. Ottima cena.
It was a really wonderful stay! Was and her family is very lovely and they helped to organise the private transport to Can Tho with some visiting stops on the way. The boat trip including some atractions was a really good experience. The food was delicious and looking fantastic. Thank you!
Oanh who runs the homestay is a treasure, she cares about you, answers quickly and assists you in every possible way. Food was lovely. If you want a warm welcome and a quiet place, this is the place to go! Book it :) It's clean
This beautiful, peaceful homestay on An Binh Island has been a highlight of our Vietnam trip so far. Oanh is a kind and thoughtful host and happy to engage in conversation with those staying in her home. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts and one excellent dinner with Oanh. The homestay is within easy walking distance of the ferry across to Vinh Long town and there are many small stores along the winding pathways. It was good to be able to visit Vinh Long as well - particularly in the evening. We enjoyed a ride on the island using the bicycles provided free of charge. Oanh organised for her brother to take us on a half day boat tour. We felt that this boat tour was well worth it offering an opportunity to see the pottery kilns, an orchard/beehives/honey, the coconut candy factory and a fish farm. Oanh’s brother was knowledgeable and explained the processes in all of the places visited. At the conclusion a nice lunch was provided.
Oahn the host was wonderful - she cooked us excellent meals and with her brother,Nam, organized the best Mekong delta boat trips.
The extra sugar in all south vietnamese food.
Incredibly friendly host, very helpful and always cheerful! Still a real homestay. Would have liked to stay for much longer!
The owner is really warm hearted, super friendly and helpful. She also cooked dinner for us, which was the best we had in Vietnam - home made!
L'accueil
Accueil chaleureux, cuisine délicieuse. Tout était parfait !
Very peaceful and beautiful family place.
Really homely little place. Lovely hosts who helped with everything including tour and transport booking. Incredibly delicious home cooking. Peaceful location, close to what you need on the island. Comfy hammocks to wile away the time out front. And free bikes to explore. Everything is spotless.
Beds are very firm even for someone like me who isn't a fan of soft beds!
Host is so nice, made a delicious dinner, rooms are comfy and quiet.
The host was SO lovely - I arrived late and she helped me get there and fetched me from the ferry! The room was lovely and the facilities were too. Breakfast was a treat! She also organised a nice boat tour for the morning
Nothing
Great location and friendly host with excellent cooking !
Very friendly, helpful and hospitable host.
The mattress was very hard!
The breakfast and dinner were so yummy. The hosts are really friendly and accommodating!
We had a lovely 2 days here. The host is incredibly warm and friendly and she is an amazing chef. We would definitely recommend staying for dinner! The location is calm and green close to the ferry and a few coffee places. And the rooms and shared bathroom are very clean. Our room even had AC and a brand new mosquito net.
The beds are hard but that shouldn't stop you from booking here!
Onah the host is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The home cooked food is excellent. Great rural location to relax. Free bikes to borrow. A boat trip can be organised easily and is highly recommended. Excellent value for money. We would go back without hesitation.
The bed was very firm (though this is Vietnamese style). Our bed frame was creaky. Some of the time houses near by played loud music
Nestled a 10 minute walk from the ferry dock this homestay is paradise. You really get to experience the quieter family life of Southern Vietnam. The family here go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I highly recommend using the free bicycles they provide to cycle around the island and catch a good sunset. Rooms are great with AC and the home cooked dinner is fantastic!
Oanh and her mother were lovely hosts. She's an amazing cook and presents the food beautifully. We ate here each night. The other guests too. 4 rooms in total. Only 6 of us here mostly. Bicycles available. Scooter taxi cheap to ferry. Hammocks, dining tables. Small River. Her brother has a big Mekong Riverside accommodation nearby. He has a boat and arranged really good tour for us. He is a good guide and it was a full day of different experiences. Including war area of national park. Markets, food 😋
Nice and simple place! Very sweet and helpful host, with great home cooked food.
We had a wonderful stay at Oanh’s homestay. Oanh was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfasts were delicious and varied each day, which was a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch with hammocks - it was the perfect spot to unwind. The room was modest, exactly as we expected, and the location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a cozy, authentic experience!
There was nothing we didn’t like - everything was wonderful!
The hosts were super lovely and it felt like an authentic experience. The boat tour was also excellent - highly recommend. And the food was great!
Nothing, it was all good
We loved everything about Ngoc Sang Homestay! We felt very welcomed by a lovely family. The rooms, communal space and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. We recommend having dinner here as the food is excellent! The local area is really nice to cycle around and the family also arranged a boat tour which was great. 10/10!
If you want to do real homestay, this is it. Super family, wonderful and relaxing. Host's brother took me on a half day tour visiting different places by boat - really relaxing and learned a lot. I came by bus at night, so it was good there were instructions on how to take the ferry and I got picked up by moped at 10pm. She also helped me make reservations to get back to Saigon, and called all the right folks to make sure I got picked up by shuttle to the bus station. Would definitely stay here again. So appreciated being treated like a family guest!
The bed was really really firm - I like firm and this was at the end of three weeks of form beds in Vietnam and this beat them all. So just be aware:)
Great location on ab binh island. I came here because of the reviews but not sure how they got a score of nine and above I have stayed in way better homestays cheaper and more comfortable too
The food was way over priced 130k per person for very little food and it was good but not the best food I have ever eaten. when you can eat the same on the street for 40k for one plate of com tam.
We had such a lovely stay with Oanh and her family. The island is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit, we borrowed the bikes and cycled around. There are lots of little cafes and eateries and Oanh makes a spectacular dinner at night. We took a boat cruise with Oanh's brother and visited a pottery, orchard, candy factory and fish farm. Definitely recommend for a relaxing few days stay.
Nothing.
Our stay in the homestay Ngoc Sang was very nice. It was very quiet and it felt like home. Oanh (the hostess) is very sweet and the food she makes is amazing. The room has basic furniture (as you can see in the pictures) and the airco is very nice. Everything is very clean. It is nice to sit outside on the terrace. The family you’re staying with is very kind. We had a great time staying here. We were able to book a boat tour tour the Mekong Delta as well through the homestay, which was very nice and taught us a lot about the local food and culture. There are also bikes which you can use if you’re staying at the homestay, and we used them to ride around the island and Vĩnh Long city on the other side of the river. We had a great time here! The hostess can help you how to get to the island from Saigon and how to get back!
Our advice would be to bring your earplugs. There isn’t much noice cancelling, so if the neighbours are having a party with loud music or if their dogs are barking at night, you’re enjoying that as well.
A lovely place to relax for a few days, and experience the Mekong Delta. Lying in the hammocks on the patio each evening was a highlight of our trip. The food provided was excellent (breakfasts, and dinner if you choose). They also arranged a boat tour, which was excellent and highly recommended.
Very nice owner, she is helpful and kind.
Oanh takes great care of the guests. She was flexible in resheduling my tour. The food prepared at dinner was delicious and based upon local cuisine. Meanwhile you stay and interact with the family, who made me genuinely feel at home. I went fishing on the mekong with the brother. The house, garden and neighbourhood are beatifull!
It might not be the five-star experience, but you do get something more valuable!
Our host was most welcoming and was a talented cook! We felt a bit under the weather and her food healed us!
The AC fan on the outside can be a bit noisy at night.
Very authentic place, very nice and helpful owner, interesting boat trip, good food
I loved the authenticity! The host is unbelievably friendly and you really feel like living with her and her family for a few days.
The bed was quite hard. But that's the same in all Homestays I've been in so far. I think they all have the same!
I loved this place! The host and her family are charming , very helpful and friendly. The location is great on an island with lots of nice paths to explore. The food is delicious.
I just wish i could have stayed longer…
We genuinely felt welcomed at this homestay and had THE BEST FOOD on our trip. Our host ( mom ) cooked us a great breakfast every morning and her authentic dinners were so delicious 😋. Her daughter and mom also helped too. Cold beer, wine and water are available as well as relaxing hammocks. We watched the sunset just next door which is a 5 minute walk. The tour that she organizes is also great!😊
I can really recommend this homestay, as I had such a good time I decided to stay for one night longer than I planned. Oanh and her family are some of the most warm, friendly, hard working people I've ever met, and they treat you with such kindness and hospitality. The family operates a couple different homestays on An Binh, so if she doesn't have room you can ask if her brother or sister does. The house is a beautiful traditional house, and sitting in the hammocks on the porch you can have a chat with her or the other guests, or just relax and listen to birds singing in the yard. I did the boat tour with Oanh's brother and it was a great experience, I've never had fruit as sweet as the longan and rambutan we picked from the trees during the tour. There's bicycles you can borrow to go around the island, and I was also able to rent Oanh's sister's scooter to drive to Sa Dec for a day. Also, Oanh is an amazing cook and her food is the best I've had in Vietnam so far! I told her she should start offering cooking classes too, maybe you can ask her to show how she makes some of the food :) Thank you Oanh and your family, hope to see you again!
Peaceful Homestay with amazing hosts! We really enjoyed the time here. Clean rooms with mosquito nets. We could even rent bicycles for free. The dinner was a highlight and everything was very clean.
We loved being able to stay in a homestay with such a lovely family. Their warmth and hospitality made it a truly lovely stay, especially as it was for Christmas! The food was delicious and Oanh was super at arranging a boat trip and moto scooter to the bus station.
Terrific meals, wonderful location, river sunsets and beers at Mekong Riverside, ferry rides to Vinh Long and back, exploring the island, awesome guided boat excursion tour, easy-going and down-home vibe: our family felt so at home and welcome
Oanh is so friendly and welcoming, free bikes and the food is delicious. Her house is an oasis, very relaxing.
We chose this homestay based on a blog article about the Mekong area, seeking adventure and drawn by the positive recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful space and welcoming family. The host was exceptionally caring, responsive, and went above and beyond to help us. Moreover, her cooking skills are outstanding, and we cherished every meal at her house. The rooms are impeccably clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, the food is extraordinary, and the family is truly lovable – all at a very reasonable price. Initially planning for just one night, we ended up staying for three nights. Upon leaving, we hugged with a tear of gratitude, thankful to have discovered this gem. Simply put, visit this place – you'll love it!
Oanh is the nicest homestay host I have ever had. She is super friendly and cooks the most amazing meals. The best food I had in Vietnam was cooked by Oanh. Also her sister and mother are really friendly. The location is quite remote but I really enjoyed this and you could experience real Vietnamese life. No tourists to be seen anywhere. Also the homestay is not big. There are only a maximum number of 8 people there and you can connect well with them over dinner.
