Hotel Beau Site Notre Dame

Weekend breakaway for my birthday 🎉 this hotel was recommended by friends. Check in was smooth. Lovely large room overlooking the valley with stunning views. Nice sized bathroom with excellent shower. Couple of small issues no milk in the fridge you had to go downstairs to the restaurant but there was no information on this. Only one set up pillows if you wanted more you had to go down to reception and ask, thought this was a bit strange as normally you have two pillows per person. Also offered within the room there should’ve been bathrobes and travel kit, which there was none of. Overall, very pleasant. We also had our evening meal in the hotel restaurant excellent service lovely food would recommend.

On a walking trip in The Dordogne our tour advisor booked us here and we couldn’t have been happier with the hotel and the restaurant. Big clean rooms and a nice bathroom. Dinner was excellent with great service and the breakfast was also very good. Rocamadour is a special place.

Hotel Beau Site was lovely and comfortable, and we had an excellent dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Be warned you must park a bit downhill from the hotel, but if you are mobile it’s no problem. A very special spot.

Poor welcome, the key of our room was later given to another guest in error and one of our bags had disappeared, moved to the other guest’s room, then recovered upon our claim, depressing room that one category below to the category that I booked and paid for - no partial refund was made. The owner understood all the issues, apologized and was nice enough to give us a few goodies, that were not necessarily items that we like, but the gesture was appreciated.

Very close to everything

Perfectly located in the middle of town, bit of a walk from the parking but well worth it to be so central.

Rocamadour is an amazing place and been able to stay in the middle of the town was a plus. The hotel and the restaurant are very well located. Is a little bit stressful getting there by car but if you booked the parking in advance is perfect. I would totally recomend staying here.

The hotel was very clean and nice view. Great location in the middle of the old village. Super nice staff. The only less good thing was that the room fora family of 4 had the children right under the roof which makes their space super hot.

The hotel has a fantastic location, with a balcony overlooking the main pedestrian street – perfect for enjoying the atmosphere. The restaurant was also very good. The building itself is old, which we didn’t mind at all, but the lobby unfortunately had a very musty smell (thankfully not in the room). Our room was modernly renovated, with a comfortable bed and overall stylish design. The only downside was that the shower was located inside a whirlpool tub, which made it quite slippery, and the showerhead didn’t stay in place very well. The price was on the expensive side, almost €200 per night without breakfast, which felt a bit high for what was offered. Despite these minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay. If we return to Rocamadour, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely overnight stay, hotel has lots of character with great position in the city. Restaurant also served great food, reserved a table in advance to get a table overlooking the valley.

Lovely hotel and our room was lovely and quiet we did find parking at the bottom of the hill and walked up The restaurant is just across the road and has lovely outdoor space Food was good, service was a bit surly at times

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Rocamadour. It is clean and quiet. The room was very nice but the air con wasn’t great, the Wi-Fi was pretty poor and it could have done with a fridge even for a standard room. They offer a buffet breakfast in the main restaurant just across the road or some very good options in their pretty bar area, next to the restaurant. Overall, a good hotel.

Perfect hotel room exactly where you want to be. It does require some walking with luggage and there is no parking close by so highly recommend small bag you can easily carry. Fortunately we had read about that beforehand

Wonderful hotel. It’s a bit tricky driving to the spot where you can check in and leave your luggage. Be warned. You have to drive through a narrow stone arch in order to reach the hotel. However once settled in the hotel. and room was perfect.

It is beautifully and practically located in the old village. The hotel has a slight odor in the reception area, but it was not noticeable enough to impact our stay. It was a bit challenging to find parking, but I was fortunate to find a space not too far away. I would recommend reserving a parking spot just in case.

Absolutely superb. We had a balcony room overlooking the main street. Hotel is beautiful, staff very helpful. Even had a private garage to charge my EV. Parking & charge 25 euros which was very fair. Probably the highlight of our French trip

Amazing hotel, we were called the day before to say they had upgraded us to a better room, it was spacious and really clean. We had a beautiful view of Rocamadour. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was delicious.

L'accueil, le personnel, la chambre, l'emplacement de l'hôtel tout était bien voire très bien. Le seul petit point "négatif" c'est que l'établissement ne dispose pas de parking. C'est une rubrique que j'avais indiquée dans ma recherche... Ceci dit, nous n'avons pas eu de mal à trouver une place pour nous garer et le personnel est de bon conseil pour pallier à cela

Reception was very friendly and helpful. The family room we had was fantastic, as the children’s beds were up in a loft which they loved.

Fabulous 1 night stay in this really gorgeous, historic hotel. Room was divine with all modern features. The added bonus of the resturant and outside bar across from the hotel where they serve excellent food.

1st time at Hotel Beau Site & will return next time I am in this region.stephane was coerteous & helpful at checkin. Rooms had nice views& were clean. Parking is on the side of the road as your driving down away from the hotel. The hotel only has 4 parking spots in the same area (on a first come basis ). Hotel is conveniently located to visit the monastery. Will return next time in the area.

Ate here on our stay at Rocamadour, mainly as the restaurant at our hotel was closed that night. Glad we found it, eating on the terrace the food was fantastic, service was exemplary. So good we decided to extend our meal with a desert and coffee.

Très bon séjour dans l ensemble

Nous avons passé deux jours très agréables dans cet hôtel. L'entrée est sublime, les chambres sont un peu petites mais très confortables. Nous donnions sur la rue principale où il y avait beaucoup de passage ainsi que sur la terrasse de l'hôtel où évidemment le monde se succédait du matin au soir mais le double vitrage est exceptionnel dont calme absolu! Les personnes que nous avons eue à l'accueil, Stéphane ainsi que Yulvanis (? j'ai un doute, c'était un monsieur venant d'Amérique du Sud) ont été charmants. La salle de bains avait une baignoire balnéo et une douche ce qui est pratique mais manquait de prises électriques. Autrement tout était parfait! Merci!

Très agréable séjour, chambre donnant sur la terrasse et la rue avec une très bonne isolation phonique.Au réveil nous avions pu profiter de l'envol de 4 montgolfières. Accès très facile si l'on part du parking du château et que l'on descend par les ascenseurs on arrive au pied de l'hôtel. L'ensemble du personnel est très agréable.

Das Hotel ist natürlich sehr speziell, aber sehr gepflegt, man kann auch hier essen, grosse Terrasse mit Blick ins Tal. Das Frühstück werden wir erst in 30 Min. einnehmen

Petit désagrément en arrivant que la personne à la réception a gèré parfaitement. Le personnel est très agréable et aux soins de ses clients . L hôtel est très agréable , tout comme la chambre mais un bémol sur la propreté de la chambre qui , sans que ce soit dramatique, devrait bénéficier d’un soin un peu plus important lors du ménage .

Cet hôtel et son restaurant sont remarquables. La chambre a été refaite récemment et est équipée d'éléments modernes tout en restant dans un esprit authentique. La literie est très confortable. La propreté est exemplaire. Le personnel est courtois et attentionné. Le client est pris en considération, les prestations sont de qualité. On a l'impression de rendre visite à des amis.

Hotel Beau Site Notre Dame is a beautiful historic building full of charm. The entrance and reception area are particularly striking – the grand staircase is a real showstopper and gives the hotel a memorable, elegant feel from the moment you walk in. The room itself was lovely – spacious enough, with a large, comfortable bed and a sense of quality throughout. It’s a great space to relax after a day of exploring. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The curtains in the bedroom are very thin and let in a lot of early morning light – thicker, blackout-lined curtains would be a big plus. The hairdryer in the bathroom was also underpowered and not really usable – a better-quality one or a standalone option in the room would be a welcome upgrade. It would also be nice if the bathroom amenities included conditioner alongside the shampoo, which would add an extra thoughtful touch. Another thing to note is the TV – while it does have Netflix and YouTube options, they’re unfortunately blocked when you try to use them, so they’re not actually accessible. Parking can be tricky. The hotel has a few spaces just around the corner, but these fill up fast. If you miss out, you may have to park quite a distance away – in my case, it was about a 20-minute walk including steps and hills. This can be particularly awkward with luggage or mobility concerns. On the plus side, you can drop bags off at the entrance for 15 minutes, which is helpful, though it does mean driving

Emplacement parfait en plein cœur de la cité médiévale. Chambre avec 2 fenêtres, vue sur le sanctuaire c’était magnifique. Accueil plus que parfait, accompagnement du réceptionniste dans notre installation très sympathique. Merci de nous avoir trouvé du pain en cette heure tardive où tous les commerces étaient fermés!!! Assurément nous reviendrons ici lors de notre prochain séjour à Rocamadour.

This hotel is on the main road in the lower part of Rocamadour, very well placed for a visit. There is a bar and a restaurant. Front desk staff was helpful and efficient. Had dinner at the restaurant, good food and service. Room was spacious and seemed to have been recently renovated. Breakfast was high quality. A good experience, would stay there again

Séjour d’une nuit en famille dans cet hôtel. La chambre familiale est très agréable avec sa mezzanine et ses deux lits simples, et en bas le grand lit double avec la salle d’eau. Les équipements de la chambre sont suffisants, et la bouilloire avec café et thé est très appréciable. L’hôtel est au quart de rocamadour. Tout est très propre et calme.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein de cet hôtel. Stéphane nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et bienveillant. La chambre était assez grande, fonctionnelle , très bien équipée et propre. La literie était très confortable. Nous avons pu profiter du petit déjeuner avec un buffet très bien fourni et avec en prime une belle vue sur la vallée ! Notre séjour était parfait pour notre famille de 4 plus notre chien. On est comme à la maison! On reviendra c’est sûr car les enfants ne voulaient pas repartir !

Arrivee le 16 aout avec des apprehensions sur les parkings , l astuce geniale parking du chateau 6 euros la journee aller / retour , prendre les 2 ascenseurs et l hotel se trouve pour ainsi dire en face de l ascenceur dans la rue principale qui est pietonne . Acceuil tres professionel , chambre climatisee et tres confortable , restaurant bar avec un patio charmant avec une fonataine . Reposant convivial vivant dans un.lieu patrimonial magnifique . Avec mon petit fils de 9 ans , sejour extra .

This is the besr three star hotel we have ever stayed with a five star kitchen and location. If you want to get the best from Rocamadour you should come directly to the lower part closer to the dinner time. The crowd desapears after dinner and you may finyourself litterally alone on the street and the cathedral.

Fantastic hotel in Rocamadour. Checked in by Yordanis today who was super helpful and polite. Room 24 is wonderful and is a credit to the hotel. Had evening meal on the terrace which was delicious and excellent value for money. All the staff were great. Love to come again.

The hotel met our needs and the food in the restaurant is worth a visit. Good selection for breakfast. The hotel is in centre of the old part of Rocamadour and good number of restaurants. The area is interesting and lots to do.

Looking for somewhere to stop off overnight came across Rocamadour an amazing medieval village in a deep gorge with the town clinging to the slopes. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant is excellent. Food is what one expects in France and the service and staff are top notch.

Wonderful location, in the middle of the village. Our room was very comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. We had an amazing dinner at their restaurant, with views of the valley. Gourmet food in a stylish room. Highly recommend.
