Wonderful location right next to a beautiful beach staff are friendly as is everyone in Thailand. The room was well presented had everything you need shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion and body wash. The room service was excellent, they changed the room every day. New towels every day wonderful tidied up the room, left it in an excellent state and was overall brilliant experience. Bell boys were good bringing the stuff up to your room. And there's got to be particular attention paid to the bar staff and restaurant staff who work hard in extreme heat for not a lot of money and give a brilliant service, always with a smile. In particular Riff and Ball were awesome for us as they looked after us very very well. I highly recommend this hotel as a great place to say. Yes some of the drinks and food at the hotel may be overpriced a little but it's still Thailand and it's cheap. But if you just walk outside the hotel there's lovely restaurants to eat from all of them, we never had a single piece of bad food or drink. You walk up and down the coastline there's some wonderful restaurants to eat, they're all really well recommended. Wewent up to Patong to the shopping that's awesome all around there so that's only 300 baht to get there well worth it awesome Hotel come here.

My stay at Orchid was extremely disappointing due to the on-site tourism desk near reception (blue shirt staff). After being scammed by an external agency (Nice N Easy) across the street, the hotel representative(Chantana) advised me to only book through their desk, claiming it was safer and that the hotel would support us if anything went wrong. Trusting this, I rebooked the same trip for 8600 baht (almost double the 4400 baht I originally paid). However, the experience was misleading: We were greeted and checked in by Alex at the site, instead of informing us during check in that all activities were cancelled, she boarded us on the boat, took us to the beach then informed us that our plans have drastically been changed. My package included 2 activities and 2 snorkeling sites, but we only received 1 snorkeling site and limited alternatives We were told all water activities were canceled due to weather, despite this being known all month The replacements swing, or massage) were not suitable, especially as I was traveling with children Instead of proper compensation, we were offered 450 baht drinks for activities worth ~2000 baht+ Even worse, I later saw other guests doing water activities. When I requested a fair price adjustment based on what we actually received, the agency refused, claiming I “accepted” the drinks instead. The hotel manager’s response was simply that I could call the police. This felt like being passed from one scam to another. ⚠️ Be very cautious — booking through the hotel tour desk does NOT guarantee legitimacy or support, do not choose any premium packages, and ask them to call the beach to cover the :weather and tides as they are all aware of the conditions before you arrive to the site. Shame on chantana and the Phuket Orchid staff and SHame on Alex from the banana beach and their deceitful tactics

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, the location is perfect, and the whole place is simply beautiful. The atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Lilly, Anette, and Kaimook, who went above and beyond to help us during check-in and made us feel truly welcome. We really appreciated their kindness and excellent service, and it made our experience even more memorable.

Unfortunately we had the worst hotel experience here. And we have stayed in a lot of places. The rooms and facilities are old and run down. Pool areas and stairs rusty. Kids club terrible and nothing going on/ poor facilities. The main road is like a highway as soon as you step onto the street, so busy and crowded in this part of town. We booked direct with the hotel and were given a dark room in one of the older parts of the hotel and the damp/ mould smell was rank! I went down to the front desks the next day and asked to checkout, as we weren’t happy. They then offered us one of their newer rooms over near the kids pool. It was cleaner and no mould/ damp smell. That was ok but at 11pm that night the Russian families still let their kids in the kids pool despite it being closed from 9pm. We didn’t sleep and also found the pool crowded with Europeans who were rude and taking up l the sunbeds during the day. On our third day my middle daughter got food poisoning from pizza at the pool restaurant so we decided we were done. We forfeited 2 nights of our stay (which Miss Nancy said she would arrange a refund for us) but we never recieved the refund. Overall a disappointing experience and not a cheap stay either. We checked into the Marriott closer to the airport which was blissful and a much more enjoyable experience. We will never return to the Phuket orchid and never recommend it to anyone, it needs revamp an unsatisfied customers should have a right to be refunded when the facilities are not as promised (and definitely not what was in the photos)

We loved our stay at Phuket Orchid resort. There was something for every age, from pools and water slides to swim up pool bars. There was everything we needed in walking distance including some market stalls, bars and restaurants and the beach, and it was really easy to get a tuk tuk to other areas. The rooms were really big and clean.

Fist of all - you get what you are paying for. This resort is huge and we were there in the high season. Good: the breakfast is nice, many options, the rooms are tidy, the staff is mostly smiling and friendly. The bar staff was looking a bit tired at times. The resort is close to the beach and 400 baht to Patong and the ride was pretty. The slides were fun! The starbucks cafe in the lobby - saved my day coffee wise - it was brilliant! The grounds of the hotel are well kept, beautifully green and lush Not so good: While the room was cleaned daily and kept nice and tidy, it smelled like mold, like very strongly. I never addressed it to the hotel while there, since both of our booked rooms smelled, i figured they wont be able to change it right then and there anyway. Today i unpacked my suitcase and alllll of my clothes smelled like mold. The sunbeds - since the hotel was fully booked - the mission of getting sunbeds after like 8am was mission impossible, people went out like 6:30-7 am to reserve the sunbeds and the only option to was to do the same. After day 3 i got up at 7, went downstairs, put my towels on sunbeds and went back up to keep napping- the hotel should really have some kind of system in place for this issue. Nobody is speaking about the general situation in this town and phuket in general - it is basically 95% russians, most signs are also in russian and even menues are translated into russian. They act like they own the place and it was really strange. But i guess it is what it is, considering the situation atm. Overall - it was a nice vacation. Not sure i would go again since we usually like smaller resorts, but for this year it worked its purpose - to get some warmth, sun and rest.

It was fantastic place especially if you have kids and who loves swimming and water slides Hotel staff is great and attentive and love to give soft toys to toddlers :) Just as a token of gratitude I would like to give my thanks to lilly, gift, netty , kaimook, melanie who helped us to change rooms as we have minor issue in the old room and thanks to sam for helping all the questions in the dining section as she was very fluent in english and I forgot the person name who always brought cantaloupe for my kid as that is the only fruit he eats eve it is not available in the buffet . Overall if you have kids and want to spend time in the pool and beach , just go ahead. Only remarks I have is dinner is below average , skip buying it for the entire stay as we did as there are few decent restaurants close by and kind of expensive bar

Great family vacation! Very friendly staff with smile on their face. Delicious food and nice waterslides. I had to have a business meeting and Ms. Nancy and Ms. Pumpui were very kind to let me use their class room to take that meeting in peace.

The hotel as a whole is super nice, with very nice lighting and atmosphere. However, the food is a complete disaster. Absolutely do not buy any food packages like we did. We tried the food four times but then threw away our food voucher as both the taste and cleanliness are poor around Buffer. We went with a stomach virus that kept us indoors for a week. VERY poor cleanliness. Service is great! If you want anything it takes 5-10min to get help with whatever.

We celebrated our 60th and 80th birthdays this year and you have made sure we had a fantastic holiday! The hotel is very suitable for families as there is a fantastic pool area and close to the beach. But it is a hotel that also suits us a little older as there are no heights and nice walking paths. very good breakfast with lots to choose from and in the evenings there is entertainment, there are also pool evenings etc. Very good hotel that is highly recommended!

I would not recommend this hotel. It is dated and in need of improvements throughout. Location good and near nice restaurants and coffee places. Room felt damp.

Lovely place and close to everything. Clean and spacious rooms and good flow in the shower. Room 6417 was perfectly located. This is a place for everyone and has 2 pools and 2 big waterslides for both kids and adults. Servers are very attentive and Mr Supit should get an award for making guests feel special and cared for. Ms Nan and Chu awesome cleaning ladies. Food prices are very reasonable. My second visit in a year.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, thanks largely to the excellent staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome, always smiling, attentive, and ready to help with any requests or questions. We would especially like to commend Joh, M, and Lily, who were truly amazing throughout our stay. For couples considering this hotel, one thing worth highlighting is that it is a family-oriented property, particularly during the December season, when it is filled with families and children. Breakfast is included in the package; while it is decent and reasonable, it is not exceptional. The room itself was spacious, well-maintained, and clean. One small note , purely a personal preference is that the bed felt slightly too firm for us, while the pillows were a bit too soft. Of course, comfort preferences vary from person to person. Overall, the experience has been fantastic, largely due to the wonderful staff. Another highlight is the hotel’s convenient location: it’s within walking distance to the beach for beautiful sunset views, and there’s also a nearby 7-Eleven, which is always handy.

We had a great trip to Phuket staying at this hotel. The breakfast was great, and Supit was super helpful reserving a large table for us each morning as we were 7 people. This is the most terrible hotel I have ever met. The facilities are super old, the room is not clean, the telephone is broken and no teeth brush provided. It is highly not recommended to choose this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Phuket Orchid. Pools are very nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a family room with bunkbeds and was perfect for us. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and breakfast had lots of choice. One of our children wasn't well during the trip and the cleaner Nan was very helpful. Made sure to check in with us and gave us plenty of water. Location was perfect too. Thank you Phuket Orchid Highly recommend for families with young children. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We stayed at this hotel with our family. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the staff named Patty Lilly and Kaimook. They were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was comfortable and suitable for families. The bed was soft. There was a big slider and 2 swimming pool that the kids loved. It was convenient to go shopping because it was close to 7-11 and very close to the sea, about a 2-3 minutes walk. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend and share this hotel with others.❤️❤️❤️

Location is great, lots of food options in the surrounding area but while also being nice and quiet. Very relaxed atmosphere which is nice considering there are a lot of families around. We stayed in a family room and it was spacious, air conditioner nice and cold - lots of room for the little one to play. Excellent value for money - would visit again. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Shout out to Keaw and Sammy for always being so welcoming at breakfast each morning.

Spent a week here with family the resort is lovely heaps to do for adults and kids Rooms are spacious and comfortable . Staff are amazing and helpful and adore kids couldn’t fault any of them . So close to food outlets and market stalls. Keaw and Sami were super kind stuff especially with our grandson

This is my first time to come here. I love Phuket Orchid Resort and Spa!! My children love the swimming pool and the water slide, this hotel near by the beach and just walk to 2-3 minutes. Many staff they so kind, friendly and very helpful, especially receptionist name Lilly and Patty. Next year I will be come back here. Thank you for your service and for everything.

Our stay was great, friendly staff and a lovely resort. Thexresort is a bit tired and needs a refresh but all still functional. The housecleaning staff sometimes forgot rmto replace consumables such as tea, coffee, milk and toilet paper. The bars and staff were great but the cocktail list needs to be rotated, after a few days they git a bit boring. The location is in the quieter end but tuk tuks are always available or everything is a nice walk away.

This is my second time visiting Phuket. The first time I came by cruise ship, so I didn’t have the chance to stay overnight. This time, I made a point of coming here, and I chose this hotel because of the many great reviews. I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days, and every single day was filled with happiness and wonderful experiences. I knew right away that I had made the right choice staying here. Service: 10/10 Every staff member was polite and dedicated to providing excellent service. Cleanliness: The room was spotless, and housekeeping cleaned our room every day. Breakfast: A wide variety of options available. Breakfast is served from 06:00–10:00. I recommend going between 06:00–08:00 when it’s not too crowded. Facilities: The bathroom comes with a bidet spray, which is essential for our family, and toothbrushes with toothpaste were provided. It’s just a small pity that there was no comb. Convenience: Extremely convenient. There’s a 7-11, restaurants and Karon Beach is just a short walk away ***no need to call a Grab. Special thanks to Lilly, who played a big part in making our family trip such a wonderful experience.

The only good thing was the pool and the slide, which made the stay a bit memorable, but beyond that, everything else was a letdown. Cleanliness: Housekeeping did not properly clean the room, and during my entire stay, the bed sheets were never changed. They also never cleaned or replaced the coffee cups—just rinsed them with water and left them in the bathroom instead of returning them properly. This felt unhygienic and careless. Room condition: Every time I entered the room, there was a constant unpleasant smell that made the stay even more uncomfortable. Service: I requested an iron, and instead of providing one to my room, reception told me to go iron my clothes by myself in the reception area. That is not the level of service I expected. Breakfast: The breakfast was very poor, with limited options and not much variety..

The Orchid resort was fantastic my family and friends had a wonderful time. Special mentions for server Supit, server Ao, server Krisada, coffee Queen Mam and security guy didnt get your name but keep that smile it's wonderful.

I highly recommend Phuket Orchid Resort and Spa to anyone still deciding on where to stay, because this place will not disappoint. The staff are genuinely friendly, polite, and always ready to help. The rooms are clean, the resort is spacious, and the swimming pool is fantastic with giant slides that made us feel like we were at a water park >_<. One of the highlights for me was definitely the breakfast – there was such a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The location is also unbeatable, just a short 1–2 minute walk to Karon Beach. Special thanks to Lilly and Melanie for the warm welcome and for making our stay so comfortable. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Phuket!

I would like to compliment the receptionist named Kaimook The hotel looks beautiful with a good sea view. The food is also of high quality. All the staff in the hotel provide very good service.

Very nice accommodation and friendly staff. Had a couple of nights here after three weeks in Thailand before heading home. Perfect for exploring areas around Patong. Shout out to Kaimook who went out of her way to make our stay amazing.
