The cleaning staff did what felt like the barest minimum. Coming back to a poorly made bed or lotion bottle running out for days was frustrating.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026The absolute best part of staying at Nomad was the staff. They were so friendly and incredibly helpful, even assisting me in arranging various trips and ceremonies. They deserve all the praise! On the downside, the room's cleanliness was not at its best, and there was some lingering humidity in the shower area. It’s a lovely hotel with a great team, but the room upkeep needs just a little more attention.

大通りから入って直ぐに認識出来る看板などがあるとタクシーの運転手さんもわかりやすいです。

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026タメル地区から少し離れているので、夜は静かに休めます。タメル地区は徒歩圏内なので、観光にも便利です。建物はきれいで掃除も行き届いており、快適に過ごせます。朝食は美味しいです。朝食が時間的に食べられないときは、美味しいサンドイッチと飲み物（朝食ボックス）を用意して頂けました。シャワーのお湯はすぐ出ますし、十分な温度で、排水も良好です。トイレもきれいです。wifiも十分な速度で、調べ物の他、動画などを鑑賞することもストレスなく行えます。またカトマンズに行くことがあれば、ぜひ利用したいです。あと、たまたまなのかわかりませんが、日本人のスタッフがいて、日本語で要望を伝えることができて、大変ありがたかったです。
あまり思いつきませんが、到着した日に空港でピックアップを依頼していましたが、迎えを見つけられず、うまく利用できませんでした。（結局タクシーを利用した。でもその方が安価でした。）冷蔵庫があれば、言うことなし、かな。あと、夜もにぎやかなところに宿泊したい、という方にはタメル地区に近い宿泊をおすすめします。送迎については、フロントに依頼するのと、inDriveとかのタクシーアプリを利用するのでは、７倍くらい値段が違いました（まあ、確実性やクルマの快適性には値段なりの差があります）。

La salle d’eau toilettes car la douche n’a pas de parois et l’eau mouille les toilettes. Le fait de ne pas jeter le papier toilette dans les wc 🚽 mais dans une poubelle. Le bruits des travaux dans l’hôtel a 6h30 et 7 h du matin.

Reviewed Dec 19, 2025Location is great, it’s central but very calm. The team are very helpful and really trying their best. There also is a rather nice Italian restaurant in the hotel. Water is provided daily and breakfasts are good for the regional standards. It’s a good value for money.
The property could be cleaner, specifically bathrooms. There is also is a problem with pest control and cockroaches in the building.

Reviewed Nov 13, 2025Nice, clean hotel just outside the chaotic centre of Kathmandu, still a walking distance (as long as you feel safe walking in Kathmandu's traffic), a quite street and very friendly and service-minded staff. Breakfast was good and the in-hotel Italian restaurant is excellent, plus another Nepalese-Italian one just 50 meters away.
Some noise from the kitchen fan in the room next to the lift, but it stops at 10pm, when the restaurant closes. Only a simple coffee to breakfast, but not a big issue.

For the smaller rooms near the lift, one can hear the extractor fan of the kitchen until ca 9pm, which was disturbing if you are sensitive to noise like me.

タメル地区からは徒歩15分ほど歩くので、タメルでグルメやショッピングするには少し遠いかなという印象でした。代わりに静かな場所なので快適ではあります。

Breakfast was amazing, and the room service meals and drinks were tasty, well-presented, and affordable. All the staff were super friendly and thoughtful.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2025We had a wonderful stay! The location is excellent, yet the price is very reasonable. The hotel’s design is absolutely beautiful—stylish, modern, and new. Breakfast was a highlight for us every morning, with fresh salad, delicious yogurt, and amazing coffee and milk tea. Even after six days, we never got tired of it. Most importantly, the staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. We truly enjoyed their warm hospitality and would love to come back again.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2025I stayed for almost a week at Nomad for business and genuinely loved almost everything about it. The staff were warm, helpful, and consistently attentive throughout my stay. The modern design of the accommodation suited my taste—stylish, clean, and comfortable. One of my favorite things was relaxing on the patio, a perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was delicious with a great range of options, and the food overall was impressive. A special mention goes to Piano Piano, the restaurant downstairs—it served the best lunch and dinner I had in Kathmandu. I ended up regretting my meals outside because nothing compared to the quality and experience at Piano Piano, even when compared to top-rated places in the city. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Nomad to anyone visiting Kathmandu, especially for those who appreciate great design, warm service, and exceptional food.
There were only two downsides during my stay. First, the sound insulation could be improved; I could hear a little noise from outside, which might bother light sleepers. Second, while the housekeeping staff worked diligently and the room was always neat and clean, the cream-colored carpet had visible footprints and stains that could benefit from deeper cleaning or carpet-specific tools.
