Comfort Inn & Suites Red Deer - Highway 11

This was our second stay here . The most important thing for us is that Comfort Inn is scent sensitive . My daughter has MCAS and has anaphylactic attacks to any scent . This is the best hotel so far for her and she can even use the pool . The beds are so comfortable and the free breakfast is great . Everyone has always been so friendly . We will definitely be back again .

Place was very clean. Room was great. Not out dated like some places. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff although friendly and helpful, took an excessive amount of time to check us in. Lighting in bathroom was not very bright.

Only the shower pressure is 5/10 if can improve almost perfect stay.

Location, cleanliness and room was in general good

The breakfast was terrible not enough for the quantity of guest having the hotel. The power was off for hours in some point of the night and was really hot (summer). The price for one night is not worth, too expensive for what the hotel offers.

Selected this booking for the separate bedroom suite for family which was very nice and useful. Other family draw was the pool, waterslide and hot tub. Turned out that pool/hot tub use was sporadic but not clearly communicated to us when we signed in.

Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment of our stay. Under stocked with both food, drinks, dishes and utensils. When asked for supplies staffer seemed frustrated with us. Same with no towels at pool in morning and staff seemed unclear about pool use. These slip ups MAY have been due to unfortunate incident which happened on the floor we were on involving police and medical staff

It was not in the best location for our needs.

Breakfast was nice, kids enjoyed the pancake and waffle options. Bacon was good, sausage and eggs were not very good. Pool was great, fun waterslide too.

Rooms have “daylight” type of bulbs in all fixtures. This gives everything a very harsh/businesslike mood, not cozy at all. That’s definitely something I would change. Starting at 5:30am, lots of noise from people leaving rooms and in parking lot.

All was good. We didn’t have time to stay for breakfast but it did smell good.

Walls were a little thin. Could hear things outside of our room.

The Staff is great. The rooms are big , quiet , clean to my standard which is pretty ocd . Beds are super comfy . the whole building as far as ive seen is kept Nice . I have so far enjoyed my stay everytime i have decided staying at this location . They must be doing something right ;)

It was a great, easy stay.

I spent a night here over the long weekend and it was one of the highlights of my trip with my cousin. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. I loved the pool schedule, especially the adult-only hours, and we were also granted a late check-out that let us enjoy a relaxed morning without any rush. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay again!

I used it on the way to my location. Great and clean hotel! There’s a village next to it if you want to go for a little walk.

We found our room very noisy. We would have changed rooms but it would have taken too much time. Everything else was fine.

there was safety issue in the swimming pool,kids run Infront to the pool and jumped was terrible.However,we lucky my elder son able to rescued them.my suggestion is when family come to the swimming pool some one should aware to be cautious.

It was good hotel, its a bit dated tho. We stayed 2nights. We were disappointed that the breakfast was only available to 9am, we are not early risers. Next time i’ll have to look into the fine details before i book.

Le petit déjeuner et la tranquillité. Nous avions un peu d’appréhension par rapport au bruit extérieur étant proche de la salle de piscine et du parking extérieur mais tout était bien calme. Sommeil paisible 😌

Recharger la partie the ou chocolat chaud car nous sommes arrivés à 08h30 et le chocolat chaud était finie , ne consommant pas du café ce n’était très évident de prendre un petit déjeuner sans une boisson chaude.Mais tout le reste était ok👍

I arrived late, and always hate checking in to hotels. The lady that checked me in was beyond friendly, and just made everything a breeze! Her personality was infectious, and she was very kind.

This place was amazing, starting with the staff at the front desk, to the room. The king room was a newly renovated one, and it was nicely done. Everything was clean, and the TV options were nice. Pillows and bed were fairly comfortable, but we did wake up with sore backs. However, the bed was softer than we are used to. They do have gluten-free bread; you have to ask, but they do not seem knowledgeable about the gluten-free diet. I brought my stuff just in case. FYI, there was no freezer in the mini fridge. Overall, one of the best places we have stayed at!

Very affordable for such a big room with the extra amenities at the hotel. Highly recommend. Will definitely be staying here again!

They were nice and good.

Check in was quick and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We got a suite on the 4th floor and it was incredibly quiet. We have a 5 yr old and a 1 yr old and had the best hotel naps during the day and slept sound during the night. As soon as our heads hit the pillow, we were sound asleep. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was great.

The breakfasts were very disappointing. The room is very hot, there is little to no fruit (there was supposed to be but the bins were often empty), no fresh vegetables or salsa or anything healthy to go with the proteins, cheap paper plates and plastic cutlery is so wasteful, the tea water was lukewarm every morning and I had to ask for teabags. The lack of healthy options was really disappointing (plain yoghurt, berries, herbs for the eggs, carrots and tomatoes, a potato option in the buffet tray, whole grain bread, hard boiled eggs, cheese). These are more expensive but I won’t choose your hotel again simply because the breakfast was so cheaply done and lacked good quality healthy food.
