Prairie Crest Red Deer by IHG

I loved it, nice room, I loved the jetted tub and fire place. The bed and pillows were wonderful. It was super convenient to all the things you’d need

The hot tub was getting maintenance done so it wasn’t available. Not a dealbreaker though since there was a jetted tub in the room

service and breakfast

I liked that the bed was around the corner like a different room

The bath tub was dirty had to wash it out. Hallways had a musky smell. The hot tub was out of order

The place is very clean, towels are large and the bed is very comfortable. The room size was generous and the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely return! Lots of light, evening works, it was quiet, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

N/A

Good sized room, clean.

Breakfast was lacking in variety. Bathtub was small and had a broken tap. Hot tub was out of service.

Lemon water upon arrival

No forks left for breakfast before 9 am. Bathroom requires fixing and tap in tub weird.

Location

Nothing

Breakfast

Room was clean and spacious, beds comfortable, nice pool and a great free breakfast

The staff were good. The breakfast was also good

The tv didn’t have Netflix. The fireplace didn’t seem to work.the bath tub was confusing too use. The light flickered like a horror movie. Some of the bathroom tiles were cracked. The bedroom windows mesh was damaged.

breakfast. Clean friendly service. Hosts were very cooperative.

I cannot think of anything seriously wrong, perhaps adding bathrobes to the jet-tub rooms.

Loved the location, and the breakfast.

I stayed here exactly 2 years ago, and the rooms are not as clean as they were.. the hallway carpet is ratty and dirty on the main floor which is where my room was. I paid more for the rooms by far than I did on my last trip.

Staff, breakfast

The hot tub was not working

Swimming pool

Breakfast area are not enough tables

Breakfast was good. It was really busy, so rarely to get a table and seat to eat the breakfast

Not much I didn’t like

Very family friendly

Bedding need to be cleaned better

Clean, convenient, friendly, good price

The facilities are clean

None

Room was a good size and very clean. Sheets were big enough for the king bed and didn’t slip off the corners over night. Bed was very comfy. Air conditioner was quiet. Breakfast was ample and good but they ran out of coffee. Staff working that shift was less than cheerful.😕 Otherwise great breakfast choices.

The fridge/freezer in the room was not cold at all. These should be adjusted to keep foods colder.

The location to the highway was excellent. It was within close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Although dated, the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable and the hotel was a great deal for the night! After a week of traveling on the road and staying in 4 different hotels, my family had the best sleep here. The girl working the breakfast station was very friendly and on top of things, ensuring everything was freshly stocked and topped up. The guy who checked us in at night was very friendly.

The girl working the front desk early morning was not friendly.

Breakfast especially good. Good variety. My wife who is gluten-free had her dietary needs met..

Needs a bit of repair and rennovation

The room.is spacious and clean.

Close to supermarket and shops

Didn’t clean the room everyday even though we requested it. Power shut downs for an hour.

very good king bed and nice spacious room...good housekeeping

Location

No negative

The staff were kind

The pool n hot tube were closed most our stay

Breakfast was great, great varieties and hot.

Nothing

staff was friendly and quick check in

Our bed was hard, old showers where you can see yellowing on the wall. And smelled like an old smokers room.

Accommodating Staff, Quiet and easily accessible.

Cleanliness (stains) of rooms and bathroom, overall dated but adequate for short stay.

Location was great for the event we went to. Room was big and spacious and met our needs.

Would’ve loved better housekeeping. Ran out of towels because housekeeping didn’t come into the room to put more towels in. Would’ve loved a quick vacuum under the table after the kiddos ate in the room too. Pool had way too much chlorine. Toilet ran the entire time and barely flushed. AC turned on and off constantly.

Bed bugs were found Sunday night, may 17th 2026

Pas grand chose

L'inconfort

The room, and beds

Staff made error and over charged me initially, hit tub out of order, barely any parking, very late check in, coffee in rooms tasted like dirt, cheap bacon, and my spouse said his pillow smelt like old man sweat

Excellent breakfast

Too much Febreeze used in room. Had to open window for several hours to clear the odor

Very accomudating for us as we dealt with our broke down vehicle. Thank you kindly

Bed

Breakfast

Great stay! We loved the breakfast—lots of variety each day. The kids also had a great time in the pool.

front desk staff were understanding when I had to extend my stay because of a work surprise

no kitchen

The kids room was fantastic

The breakfast was fantastic

Breakfast each morning was wonderful. Many options.

We like the location, friendliness of staff and the pool with slides

Nothing

The room was very clean. The staff was friendly.

We stayed here for one night. We were in the pool and the power suddenly went out. We left to return to our room, stairwells were pitch black with no emergency lighting. There was one worker in the entire building, said her supervisor said to give it an hour. The power and heat were off for well over an hour in a heavy snow storm. Front doors wouldn’t open, you had to pry them open to get in. The next morning around 730, I went to take a shower and the water was ice cold. I called the front desk and was informed that they needed to reset the boiler after the power outage and that maintenance should be here around 830 (no help for us as we had 3 kids to get ready for a competition) because they didn’t come do it last night. No supervisor or maintenance would come in over night and left this one poor worker to deal with a bunch of upset patrons. I asked for a refund before bed, so we could go to another hotel… can’t because no supervisor. Discount for a terrible stay… can’t because there’s no supervisor. Upon check out the worker said how was your stay and laughed and said nevermind… I’m sure very bad before I even had a chance to say anything. AVOID!!!

Good location. Good breakfast.

Definitely older hotel. Bathroom was needing repairs, ie. staining in tub, peelings walls, damage on the tub surround, needed new door.

Wonderful stay! Staff are exceptional and it was a great experience. The pool was perfect and clean. The breakfast selection was fantastic. We used the laundry facilities too.

Bed’s & pillows are comfortable. It was super cold outside when we arrived and sadly the room was equally bitterly cold when we arrived. they had the heat set at 13c. It took 3.5 hrs for it to warm up to 18c. Never fell asleep till 2:30am because it was so cold. Thought it would be a quiet room as it was on the backside of the hotel, but the heater was extremely noisy, and of course the vehicles in the lot. It was still a very nice place over all to stay. I would choose it again.

Unique location which is good.

Was in room 300 and at 7:00ish noise above was very loud for

Housekeeping unavailable most of the day. A policy that they don't mention of only cleaning the room after your SECOND night, and most disgustingly, and definitely against health codes, there was human feces in the swimming pool. Now you may say, hey, accidents happen. However, we went in the pool and discovered the feces AFTER 9pm. After talking to the front desk clerk, we found out that they had been told about the human feces in the pool at 730pm, and a full 2 hours later had done absolutely NOTHING about it, including leaving the pool open for others (like our entire ringette team) to go swimming in the feces water until one of us noticed the smeared feces at top of the slide.

Water slide

The hotel was a in a central location, it was easy check in. Rooms were nice, beds were comfy and it included a hot breakfast. Staff was friendly as well.

We were hoping to get all 3 of our rooms together, but 2 of us were together out of 3. The one room had dirty bedding on the pull out couch and staff did not have access to clean bedding, and other room was supposed to have a sofabed but didn't so staff had to find a cot to bring in. It was nice to have a pool & hot tub but pool was small & hard to be with little ones in there with all the big kids coming down the slide & splashing water everywhere.

we love the breakfast

Everything is great. Perfect for the weekend get away.

Great

Gutes modernes Hotel direkt an der Highway 2. Die Fenster sind gut isoliert und man hört den Highway nicht.

Breakfast being included. The bed and bedding. Waterslides.

No upgrades to flooring. Older building feel.

The breakfast was probably the one drawback. Small space and limited choices.

Fruit choices. Could have been a restocking issue.

Loved that we are able to have the option to have a late checkout for a reasonable cost. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Great Breakfast with daily options.

The staff are super friendly, the location is great, easy to find, the main areas are clean and smell good, the room we stayed in smelled great and was perfect, clean.. The bed was comfortable the TV had good shows to watch, the free wifi was fast and a bonus for us. The breakfast was delicious, the pancake maker was fun to use, lots of variety for breakfast. The pool and slide were fun to use, my little guy had a blast. Thank you for a great stay!

The breakfast was plentiful

The elevator was filthy. It’s one of the first facilities we see and the carpet was really dirty and covered with food crumbs

It’s a good location.

We asked for a quiet room but got a room close to the highway and above the kitchen. Two small queen beds. Wish the size was regular queen.

Breakfast was amazing, pool looked nice didn't get to use it, I also liked the location. The staff, Cha Cha made the stay and check in process wonderful

I'm going to stay here again. No complaints.

The pet friendly option and main floor room

The hot tub had almost no water in it.

The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. I think the bathrooms could do with a little makeover we had to change rooms because the bath has a permanent stain and the water pressure is off. However the rooms are clean. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely go back.

Everything was great

Only thing i didnt like which wasn't there fault was a baby crying in the pool and parents just letting them.

Our room was clean and the staff very pleasant. We requested a quiet room due to a hockey team also staying there and our request was granted. There is also an indoor slide and pool but didn’t use.

Breakfast was included and the selection was good however I’d question the turkey bacon. Isn’t it suppose to be cooked like bacon?

Location and front desk staff was excellent. The room was comfortable. I didn’t get his name but the fellow at the front desk was a young guy with braids in his hair and he was so pleasant and accommodating to me.

My only complaint would be the overpowering air freshener in the rooms! I have a scent allergy and we had to ask to be moved from the first room because the smell was so strong. I did wonder what was trying to covered up. We asked to be moved and the fellow at the front desk moved us to another room which still smelled but not as bad. Please consider people with scent allergies when using products like this. I will make a request next time for no air freshener but I’ve never had trouble with Days Inn.

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory

Price and location. Staff very good as well.

Temp hard to control
