Que tuvimos que esperar un buen rato para que nos pudieran asignar una habitación, sino hablamos con la recepcionista no se a que hora íbamos a entrar.

Reviewed Apr 17, 2026Very elegant hotel with under cover parking available. Spacious, spotlessly clean room. Very friendly staff. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the restaurant.
The air-con in our room struggled and took three hours to reduce the temperature from 25C to 22C. Also, the air from the air-con smelled quite musty. Otherwise, great value.

Dirty windows, and the breakfast was terrible for a 5 star hotel - and even we booked the option with breakfast included, they charge you additional for a very simple things like a capucchino or additional egg in a breakfast.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025Alles goed. Sfeer is een beetje stijf maar op zich niets op aan te merken. Ontbijt voldeed aan alle verwachtingen. Kamer is ruim en de badkamer is heel groot en aangenaam. Ideaal hotel om bv 1 nacht te stoppen, als doorreis. Heeft een iets zakelijkere sfeer.
Zwembad ligt wat achter het hotel, en die zone is precies wat minder onderhouden en wat kaal. Bedden hadden groter gemogen, er is plaats genoeg.

The room was huge and looked over a quiet courtyard (I could see where it might be noisy depending on an event like a wedding etc). The pool was small but tucked away into a tranquil corner with the spa. The reception was amazingly helpful and friendly and room service was doable in terms of price. Location-wise the hotel is kind of a bit far from the main attractions on foot, but also doable in non- rainy season. We did find some good restaurants just around the corner and the area was very safe.

The bed sheet and pillow not really comfortable and old fashion. There was no attention to details. The bar was closed on Sunday and the food for the diner was a complete deception. The breakfast was good though with excellent service.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2024De entree to the hotel is very grand and it easy to get to. The staff were very friendly. They were helpful and polite. The food in the restaurant is good.
Everywhere in the hotel (except from the restaurant and the entree) there are damp patches and some even dripping on the ceiling. Even in the rooms. They obviously have a big problem that needs to be fixed as the smell is not nice. Also the gym needs serious attention and the pool tiles to the back are extremely slippery when wet.

Some maintenance already ongoing bet therefore pool and gym are not available. Also, bar and some areas look abandon. It was said on web hotel providing shuttle services for additional cost, but in fact they just arrange taxi.

Reviewed Feb 6, 2024The staff was really friendly and helpful. We forgot one of our suitcases, but they went out of their way to send it to our next destination in Mexico. Which was fantastic. Also th beds were good and the lounge area spectacular.
Villahermosa is not so interesting by itself to visit, we needed it as your plane landed there late in the evening. But the hotel itself was a nice oasis of rest.

Reviewed Oct 19, 2023In the noisy Villahermosa, this hotel is an oasis with a colonial atmosphere. We only stayed one night but it was worth every minute. Staff is remarkably professional. Our room was wide, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The restaurant serves excellent meals. The ambiance is very pleasant. The swimming pool is an extra... I don't think I'll be back to Villahermosa, but if I did, no doubt I would stay here again. It's great value for money.
There's nothing wrong we can say about this place. We hope it will remain quiet, as at the moment of our visit they were building a new road in the neighbourhood.
