My second stay at this hotel! Excellent location and friendly staff

I would have preferred a room with a better view but otherwise it was excellent

Me and my husband’s first visit to Barcelona was made even more memorable by our stay at this gorgeous, well-located hotel. I cannot imagine a better place to stay for a first visit to Barcelona than the Gothic Quarter, and Petit Palace Boqueria Garden exceeded our expectations when it came to location. The room was charming and well-equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we always looked forward to returning to our room at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. If we have the opportunity to visit Barcelona again, we would most certainly choose to stay here.

It was absolutely in a perfect location in the Alfalfa District . Visited the Santa Cruz district and so happy we stayed at Petite Palace Boqueria Garden . The room was so spacious with a lovely family room , perfect A/C and especially loved the roof top terrace pool . Perfect after a hot day to cool off after walking around Sevilla . Definitely would recommend and go back ! The staff was so pleasant and helpful in every manner ! Truly a perfect stay in every way !

Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Locatie vlakbij metrostation en vlak naast de Ramblas. Heel goed gelegen. Enorm gezellige buurt vooral 's avonds, veel winkeltjes en eetgelegenheden. Zelf ontbijten in de nabije omgeving mogelijk.

Kamer was redelijk basic doch wel net. Restaurantgedeelte zeer klein en ook de foto's gaven een ander beeld dan de werkelijkheid.

The hotel is a gem in the heart of Barcelona. The staff is very attentive, breakfast has a multitude of different options. The room was functional and comfortable and the windows opened onto an inner garden which was pleasant and quiet at night. The hotel is just off the Rambas, 50 meters away from the Liceu metro stop and a 10 min walk from Plaza Catalunya where the Airport bus arrives.

This is a personal preference, I would have liked to see more decoration in the rooms.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel’s location is excellent. Breakfast is very varied and delicious. After checkout we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel because of a late flight, which really meant a lot to us.

Ο κήπος ήταν υπέροχος. Ο χώρος πεντακάθαρος και αρωματισμένος. Άνετο δωμάτιο με δύο WC. Το πρωινό πλήρες. Το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο ( και ειδικά ο συμπατριώτης μας ο Ηρακλής που είναι υπεύθυνος στην κουζίνα). Η τοποθεσία κεντρικότατη, πήγαμε σε πολλά αξιοθέατα με τα πόδια παρόλο που έχουμε και μικρά παιδιά. Καλή σχέση ποιότητας και τιμής! Σίγουρα θα το προτιμήσω ξανα!

Το δωμάτιο που επέλεξα για την πενταμελή μου οικογένεια είχε ένα υπνοδωμάτιο με διπλό κρεββάτι και μια κουκέτα, ενώ η άλλη κουκέτα ήταν στο σαλόνι Την επόμενη φορά θα επιλέξω το δωμάτιο με τα δύο υπνοδωμάτια για να μην είμαστε στο ίδιο δωμάτιο γονείς και παιδιά!

Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, persoonlijke touch. Frisse schone kamer, grote kamer en een erg stille kamer. Ondanks dat je in het centrum zit hoor je niks van de stad, zalig geslapen! Airco is ook erg stil. 8.5 als ik dat kan geven.

Het bed was net iets te hard voor ons (persoonlijk) en de kamers zijn wat steriel ingericht, tuin en ontbijt ruimte zijn heel sfeervol, kamers zouden hierin mee mogen doen en iets meer sfeer mogen krijgen.

Three sets of stairs between the front desk and my room. Challenging with two or three pieces of luggage. It would be so simple to add a “ramp lane” to those stairs.

Personale gentilissimo e professionale, in particolare Peter é stato sempre preciso, professionale e disponibile. La struttura si trova a 50m dalla Rambla e ai margini della città vecchia.

€12 for two coffee I thought was very expensive, that annoyed me a lot. Especially as we drank it in the lovely courtyard and to be hit with that bill spoilt the experience a bit.

Bardzo słaba kondycja hotelu. To nie jest hotel z 4 gwiazdkami. Max to 2 gwiazdki. Ogólnie bardzo wyeksploatowany hotel. Tylko jedna działająca winda. Zużycie mebli, np. zepsuty uchwyt pod słuchawkę pod prysznicem i nikt go nie naprawia. Grzyb dookoła brodzika. Restauracja hotelowa bardzo słaba.

Sehr zentral, die boqueria ist schräg gegenüber weniger als 100 Meter. Der Garten ist wahrscheinlich ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal und erfreulich ruhig.

The stuff is very friendly and the secret garden is very relaxing. The junior suite offers a small outdoor area which is cool and wonderful to sit at nights. The frescoes in the room are wonderful!!!

It was truly a garden sanctuary in the middle of the most busy part of Barcelona!

Not the properties fault, but depending on the time of day, exiting the hotel could be a bit of a shock.

Il fatto che uno debba spendere 15 € per fare colazione, sopratutto a italiani del nord Italia che fanno colazione con cappuccio e brioches.Ho visto un piccolo bar a fianco alla reception se faceste colazioni alternative con caffè o cappuccio e brioches a 5 o 6 euro una famiglia come la nostra composta da 4 persone che ha fatto colazione sulla l'ambra a 17 € secondo me ne avrebbero lasciati volentieri 20 0 24 a voi che per 3 mattine sono 60/70 euro mi sembra che possiate guadagnare e soddisfare il cliente.

Fantastic location, Spotless , extremely attentive staff. Most importantly, hotel manager, Alicia is very customer focused and assisted with everything we asked for. Reception staff, Kitchen staff , Porters all very helpful. Certainly they made our stay pleasant and gave us really spacious Suite as gesture of goodwill upon our request.

The room with the terrace it needs refurbished. Some parts of the wall had mould. The bathroom it was bad as well. The towels were with a bad smell and they were really old. Not a 4 star hotel!

Our stay at Petit Palace in Barcelona was really wonderful. The employees were amazing, especially Mariah, who checked us in and helped us with our luggage. Maria and Alicia also went above and beyond to make sure our daughter, who has severe food allergies, had gluten-free and egg-free options at breakfast, which was served at the hotel. We truly appreciated their care and attention. We were very impressed with the customer service. We haven’t experienced this level of service at a hotel in years. All of the employees were friendly, welcoming, and always had a smile on their faces. The hotel also has great amenities, a nice restaurant, and a beautiful garden. The apartment side of the building is a little older, but it is very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect as well. As soon as you walk out of the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, and it is located right in the Gothic Quarter.

Was a great stay at Petit Palace Boqueria Garden. The location is great, right in the heart of Barcelona, and with a nice garden; and within easy walking distance of many attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious. Good balance for money, recommended!

I took my daughter to Spain to celebrate her 18th birthday and graduation from high school and had booked everything through Expedia, which all worked out great, however this hotel was a last minute find, as the hotel we had booked’s air conditioning had gone out and they said we could cancel if that was an issue. Normally I’m pretty tough, but the weeks of Aug 1 through 12 were blazing H-O-T and there’s no way we could’ve slept without AC. So I started walking the Quarter to find another option (Expedia and other sites take some time to update availability, it turns out, so in an immediate situation like that it was better to do it face-to-face). About 5 hotels into my search I found Boqueria Garden and I’m so thrilled that I did! The hotel itself is beautiful, and they mean it when they say there’s a garden. The Gothic Quarter is a hive of activity that seems to be 24-7, and this place just feels like an oasis! The rooms are clean and comfortable and we loved that they have a real focus and commitment to being eco-friendly. The staff in all aspects of the hotel were warm, welcoming, and helpful, and one of our favorite parts was the beautiful breakfast buffet each morning. Fresh juices; coffee basically any way you want it; meats and cheeses; beautiful danish; and eggs/waffles/pancakes cooked to order. And I’m sure I’m forgetting thing, but in a nutshell, just book it! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and are so glad we discovered it!

Stayed for 1 night as a party of 7 family and friends. Great hotel, perfect location and helpful staff - and a beautiful terrace for drinks and food. I’d definitely recommend and would stay again.

The lady at the reception was extremely rude. She insisted that we did not have a room for two adults and a child, only to realize later that she had been looking at the wrong reservation. It was a very unpleasant experience. The rooms also need some refreshing, and the bunk bed is in quite a worn-out condition.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just off La Rambla and at the edge of the Gothic Quarter (Barrio Gothic). We stayed in the family suite which was very spacious and comfortable - we had two levels with the kids on the lower one and us on the upper. The staff was very kind and helpful.

No TV on the upper floor, and behind the bed on the lower floor (but we didn't come to Barcelona to watch TV). The shower stall door didn't fully close, so water from the shower kept spilling onto the bathroom floor outide.

Everything was great. Especially I would like to highlight Alicia from the hotel, she was so nice and kind to everyone’s of us while staying in the hotel. We would be back definitely. The location of the hotel is really great, everything is so close, and also the breakfast is excellent, so highly recommended to try!

Our room was spacious and had 2 bathrooms, which was great for a family of four. We loved the bunk beds as well. The hotel is very close to many sites and the metro.

The area itself is VERY BUSY and touristy. It is great for a one/two night stay because we could get places quickly but I think a longer stay I would want something more "local" and less active.

Très bien situé, personnel sympathique. La cour extérieure où nous avons assisté à l’une des victoires de l’Espagne lors de la dernière Coupe du monde. Un bien bel endroit.

Les travaux de construction majeurs sur la Rambla à 100 mètres de l’hôtel qui ont entravé notre jouissance de cette magnifique avenue. (Rien à voir avec l’hôtel)

The staff at the front desk were amazing! If it weren't for Alexis I would have not wanted to stay. He was extremely personable and he made this trip so enjoyable.

We got a quad room for 4 adults. The room was listed as a queen with 2 twins. It turned out to be a bunk bed which was not ideal. For 4 adults there was very few accommodations. Needed a bigger 2nd mirror and more outlets. Also needed luggage racks.

Bijzonder centraal gelegen boetiekhotel op een steenworp afstand van La Rambla. Fijn personeel dat ons hartelijk ontving en een goede uitleg gaf over het hotel en de kamer. We hebben het hotel uitsluitend "gebruikt" om te slapen en zijn verder vooral op stap geweest in Barcelona. Fijn en rustig kunnen slapen in een goed geaircode kamer en een prettige uitchecktijd (12.00 uur)!

We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is our go-to hotel for Barcelona. The location is very good, close to many of the sites. The rooms are comfortable, we love the inside garden/patio. The staff has always been exceptionally helpful. This trip was no exception. Nikola on check-in was friendly and efficient. Of special note was the breakfast staff. Alicia was very welcoming and friendly. On the first day of our two day stay, I left a container at breakfast that I use to hold special food due to dietary restrictions. Natali found it, kept it for the next and gave it to us when we arrived. While a relatively simple act, it is very much appreciated and will make the rest of our trip easier. We had a minor leak in the bathroom on this stay. We reported it was soon as we noticed. The staff took note and the leak was stopped within two hours. When traveling, problems like this invariably happen. What I appreciate is how they are handled, and this was a good experience.

Wspaniałe śniadanie ,Hotel blisko metra L3 ( zielona linia - jak ktoś nie lubi chodzić to jedna stacja np. do placu Catalunya- tu polecam Centrum handlowe El Corte Ingles- na 7 czy 8 piętrze ( ostatnim) jest restauracja w bardzo tanich cenach i z pięknym widokiem,// 2 stacje do Casa Batlo ( Stacja Paseige de Gracia) i 3 stacje do Casa Milà- stacja Diagonal) . Po wyjściu z hotelu w lewo i 3 minuty zaraz jest La Rambla- teraz cała w budowie i wszystko rozkopane, jak wyjdzie się z hotelu w prawo można dojść 700m do lini metra ( żłółta)- Stacja "Jume I" wysiąść na Jaonic i tu autobusem 3 stacje pod samą plażę. Polecam kupić bilet na metro i inne transporty na tyle dni ile się jest w Barcelonie ( Hola Barcelona) , wtedy można jeździć dowolnie i się przesiadać z jednej lini na drugą. Polecam tez autobus np A1 czy A2 z placu Catalunya - zaraz przy centrum handlowym El Corte a Ingles - za 7,50 euro podjedzie się do samego lotniska T1 lub T2. Super miejsce - no i trzeba pamiętać o smarowaniu się na plaży- słońce strasznie pali , nie nosimy biżuterii ani dokumentów przy sobie- lepiej zostawić w hotelu.
