It was very relaxing and we were pampered. The staff were all wonderful.

There were some issues with the second room's lighting. The lamps were not connected to the main bedroom switch and there was a power knob missing from one of the lamps preventing manual operation.

Le rapport qualite prix La météo en saison sèche La prestation pour visiter un parc avec des singes et l ile de catalina: 4hr de transports avec changement bus et arrêts pour sortie parc singe et 7hr ! De transports pour l ile entre bus et bateau en mauvais état. Le bruit de la climatisation Le prix des restaurants beaucoup trop chers La lenteur du service pour ce type d etablissement Les logements doivent être rénovés et les terrasses des 2em étages avec 1 chambre aussi. Terrasse à couvrir au moins partiellement car y compris en saison sèche il pleut tous les jours.

Emplacement exceptionnel : plage magnifique, jardins, piscine, golf . Peu de monde. Mise à disposition de vélos et d une voiturette de golf pour accéder aux différents sites du Punta cana ressort Option pour vous accompagner à l aéroport et bénéficier d un accès rapide pour passer les contrôles de sécurité . Suite très grande et très joliment décorée , matériaux de qualité, grande terrasse avec transats, plateau de courtoisie , eau à disposition

Notre suite avec vue océan n avait pas de vue océan … Le personnel dit toujours oui avec un grand sourire mais il ne se passe rien. Nous arrivons plus d une heure avant l’heure de Check-in officiel et avec achat de l option check in avancé : on nous dit que la chambre est prête mais on nous fait attendre jusqu’à l heure du Check in officiel (16h) ; nous n’avions pas d eau chaude dans la chambre et nous n en avons pas eu pendant tout le séjour; nous avions acheté l option départ tardif, il a fallu se battre pour l obtenir ( nombreux échanges whatsapp…et demande de rencontrer un manager ) bref un service très en deçà de l attendu dans ce type de structures. Dommage!

An unbelievable hotel, everything is thought of down to the tiniest details. The staff are incredibly kind and nothing is too much, the food is also very good generally. The beach is obviously beautiful and we found our room super comfortable and well appointed.

A couple of small details that annoyed us given the price - staff who come into your room without knocking being one! Not ok. Also miscommunication between teams, for example we arrived late and told our ambassador we were going to have room service and go to bed. About 2 hours later someone came at 21.30 offering a turn down service and woke me up! Small things, just a bit annoying.

El precio. A pesar de ser costoso, nada es gratis. Salvo el agua. Ni siquiera los snacks. El restaurante Bamboo, es bueno, pero con una carta muy resumida. Hay mejores restaurantes en RD con mejor relación calidad-precio; incluso, internacionales -en otros países- con estrellas Michelin y con precios muy inferiores. La playa estaba en muy mal estado. Pocas amenidades.

Poca gente, tranquilidad, amabilidad del personal, la belleza del lugar y la calidad de las instalaciones.

Deberia existir un servicio todo incluido o al menos que el desayuno sea todo incluido. Podrian haber màs actividades sociales para los adultos, ya sea en los restaurantes o bares, para que haya algo mas de interaccion entre los pasajeros. Y durante el dia, ofrecer algunas actividades de deportivas.

One of the most beautiful and well kept hotels we’ve had the pleasure of staying in 🥰 Peaceful and exclusive, staff were simply amazing….and having your own golf buggy to explore all of PUNTACANA was fantastic!

Tolle Villa am Strand mit freiem Blick auf das Meer. Sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Man bekommt auch zwei Fahrräder und einen Golf Cart (das ist genial um im ganzen Resort herum zu fahren). Die Tischtennis Platte hat uns jeden Tag zu einem Spiel eingeladen. Und besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service und das Personal. Alle unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Embajadores Team unterstützt bei allen Wünschen und man kann sich darauf verlassen, dass alles reibungslos läuft. Fantastisch! Man fühlt sich absolut willkommen und wohl. Das Essen in den verschiedenen Restaurants im Resort ist sehr lecker und man hat eine große Auswahl. Und besonders hervorzuheben ist der VIP Service am Flughafen. Dieser macht die Ein- und Ausreise super einfach und vor allem schnell (vorbei an allen langen Schlangen). Tortuga Bay ist absolut empfehlenswert!

VIP treatment starting from the door of the plane is exceptional. At every moment throughout our stay the incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive staff was ready and able to assist us with anything we needed. Our beachfront room was comfortable and well appointed, and the on resort amenities more than we could take advantage of in our four day stay. A perfect getaway!

Fabulous resort with top notch staff providing next level service. Private and peaceful small boutique atmosphere where the ocean front villas are very comfortable, clean, and nicely updated. The food is also excellent and includes local favorites on the menu with everything flavorful and well prepared. A truly exceptional property that my family will visit again, which is made even easier with VIP airport assistance provided by the hotel.

I love the seclusion of the property and the calmness of the property. The staff is wonderful and the VIP service is a wonderful. The gym could be updated a teeny bit. But otherwise everything is great. The dinner menu at Bamboo is a little bit limited, but the food is excellent as well.

Beautiful property and villas, staff is amazing. Only thing lacking was in room dining options (though I suppose most people don’t use this service as you are in paradise and why get room service) and the food at the on site restaurant was good but not 5 star good. The best part was the VIP transfer to and from the airport. Eliminating waiting in lines is priceless!

Outstanding

Incredible service from the moment you step off you flight with the VIP airport service, felt like we were flying private. Yocasta and her team of ambassadors took care of everything we requested from restaurant reservations to golf tee times and transportation. The included breakfast was spectacular. Rooms are large, we had a 2 bedroom villa that was perfect for our family with teenagers. The personal golf cart parked outside our room made it easy to get around the whole Puntacana resort. Views from our room were amazing. Pool was a bit small but we spent our time at the beautiful and uncrowded beach. Can’t wait to return!

Room was great (beach villa), really big and kept nice & clean. The beach is lovely and relaxing (seaweed and rocks when entering the sea were the only things I didn't like). Dinner at Bamboo restaurant was fantastic, staff friendly and warm. Golf caddy and bicycles to get around the resort work really well. Thank you

Wi-fi does cut out sometimes. Seaweed and rocky entry to sea weren't great. There are better beaches elsewhere (Maldives etc)

Tortuga Bay is a beautiful and tropical paradise! From the moment you are met at the airport to the moment you have to depart the VIP service is exemplary! The luxurious Villa accommodations in a peaceful atmosphere on a wonderfully private beachfront property exceeded what we had expected and more! The Private Embajadores services are exceptional and all staffing at Tortuga Bay are courteous, respectful of your privacy, and go out of their way to make your experiences perfect; from Day Housekeeping to Night Turn Down(and chocolates), transport needs, wait staffing, and the list continues. Both Bamboo and La Yola restaurants are exceptional. A round of golf at La Cana directly on the ocean, with our tee time being managed through the Embajadores services at Tortuga Bay, was a once in a lifetime experience as well. Without question a recommendation to enjoy the spa offerings through the Punta Cana Resort as it also was amazing! We hope to go back someday as our stay at Tortuga Bay was not a vacation at a resort, but a vacation that was set amongst the beauty of Punta Cana with the staff at Tortuga Bay making us feel we were among family.

The food was delicious, creative and fresh. Beautiful, quiet beach with comfortable loungers.Huge, gorgeous room with amazing balcony (and two bathrooms) with amazing attention to details. Golf carts to get around the gated community. The ecological reserve is included and has beautiful cenotes. Bikes with personalized name plates. Fantastic spa. Surrounded by golf courses. VIP service to/from and at airport and free lounge at departure. We travel a lot and this is gem. Way better in person. We rarely go back to the same place but we’ll go back.

I can hardly find the words to describe how excellent the hotel is! As someone who travels often, I usually don’t take the time to write reviews about my stays, but I couldn’t resist sharing our experience at Tortuga Bay. The staff was incredibly friendly, and every facility truly surpassed our expectations.

The villas are beautiful and extremely clean. The beach is unbelievable, staff is very nice. They took care of us very well. The reception and the restaurant is designed by Oscar de la Renta; so beautiful.

Tortuga Bay Resort in the Dominican Republic was the perfect destination for our romantic getaway as new empty nesters. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning oceanfront suite that offered breathtaking views and a serene, relaxing atmosphere. The suite was immaculate, well-appointed, and provided the utmost comfort for a peaceful retreat. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the Bamboo Restaurant. The culinary experience there was exceptional, with exquisite dishes and impeccable service that truly made our evenings special. The resort's amenities were top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the adjacent golf and spa facilities and the convenience of full-time use of golf carts and bicycles, which made exploring the resort a breeze. The VIP treatment we received throughout our stay added an extra touch of luxury and made this our best resort experience yet. Tortuga Bay Resort is a paradise for those seeking absolute tranquility, privacy, luxury, and romance. We can't recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning soon.

nearby La Yola restaurant was a bit over-rated. The pool temperature was a bit too warm. While we did not mind a little dress code at certain restaurants for dinner some folks may.

The hotel has a private beach where you can rest and relax in a quiet and peaceful environment. The beach is impressive, the accommodations spacious and of high quality. Special thanks to the entire Tortuga team, the service is excellent, they do everything to assist you with whatever you need, all cheerful, polite, and helpful. The hotel restaurant is also great, for breakfast and other meals. The golf cart helps a lot in getting around the property. I definitely recommend and will return soon.

Everything was great

Tortuga Bay Hotel is great! My wife and I flew there from the UK for 10 days at the beginning of February 2024. The staff were absolutely wonderful- everyone was super friendly and spoke pretty good English. As a bonus, guests are allocated an ’Embajadores Team’ who will suggest activities and arrange anything you want. You really feel like a VIP! We went to the Carnival and hired a car for 3 days, driving round the island sight-seeing. We go to the Caribbean every year and we both felt that the exceptional beach villas and whole layout of the estate was one of the best we have ever visited. I loved the addition of a golf cart and bikes to go to restaurants & spa etc. Security is first class and we felt 100% safe at all times. I guess the only downside was the beach- it looks amazing, lots of it but just a little bit rough and sea weedy. But this is more than compensated by the beauty of it, the lack of people (while we were there) and the surprising amount of wildlife- pelicans, herons and all manner of seabirds. Puntacana has what looks like the most amazing golf courses but as neither of us play the game- we missed out on that. In summary, I thoroughly recommend the Tortuga Bay: it’s a beautiful hotel with very high standards and delightfully friendly staff.

People were so nice, service was great, room facilities were top, location was great.

The food was too expensive and although the fish was fresh, they could improve the food quality given such high prices and that the restaurant is supposed to be in a five star hotel. Other than that it was great.

This was the best trip from the moment we got off the plane. Straight to VIP area- cold beer and water etc. Bags are found and you are walked thru Security to a van to take you 15 minutes to hotel. Great service from all Embajadores team at Tortuga Bay, booked your spa your golf your dinners private yoga drivers to dinner. Carlos Antonio and Felix and Juan Julio, Antonio and his smile. Joseph was a great host too.

Everything about Tortuga is world class from the VIP service through customs, to the facilities, to the amazing service. Our ambassador Ciara was the best! She made sure every ask we had was taken care of quickly and to perfection. We will definitely revisit Tortuga again soon!

Tortuga Bay is a wonderful upscale boutique resort with a fantastic on-beach location, great food, and phenomenal staff. The property is very quiet, easy to get around, and full of top notch amenities and service.

The services from the staffs were friendly but not always reliable. But I’m very happy and glad to celebrate my birthday day at the resort.

The hotel, staff and grounds are were phenomenal. We will absolutely be back!
