TAN Resorts Marina Cap Cana - All Inclusive

It is not a place for young people. Don't have much to do it is for someone who is just wanting to relax. There is a complimentary ride from airport but you have to pay to go back I . It's really boring unless you Uber to somewhere else. I don't think I would come back to this resort

This resort is so relaxing and the culture is amazing. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The entertainment and shows were great. The location is nice right by the water, with great views. Dairis was so fun !

We had such a wonderful experience at TANs Resort! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service made our stay feel extra special. A huge thank you to Dairis, Luisa, Jorge from the lobby bar, Emmanuel, Felix, and Yaribel. Each of you went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of throughout our stay. Your kindness, attentiveness, and wonderful personalities truly stood out. The resort itself was beautiful and relaxing, and the staff truly made our vacation memorable. There are, however, a couple of areas that I feel could make the experience even better. The rooms could definitely use some renovations and updating to give them a more modern and refreshed feel. I also would have loved to see more live music and more Dominican music around the pool area. Being in the Dominican Republic, it would add so much to the atmosphere to hear more merengue, bachata, and other Dominican music throughout the day. It would really bring more of that authentic Dominican vibe and energy to the resort. Overall, we had a great stay and truly appreciated the wonderful service we received. Thank you again to the amazing staff who made us feel so welcomed. With a few updates and a little more Dominican entertainment, the resort could be even better. We would happily return! ❤️🌴🇩🇴

The resort is amazing!! The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious . The pool is very clean . Dairis y Luisa is an amazing teacher. I learned bachata in an hour . It was so much fun that you forget what day it is. I recommend this resort to anyone who needs relaxation and a place to call home while on vacation. The service is outstanding!!!!

My stay was very good; the food, the drinks, everything was great. I had an extraordinary vacation. I loved being here. I also want to highlight Dairis, the entertainment girl; she made my days very fun. I also enjoyed the Dominican show, the pool—it's very peaceful—and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dairis , jorge, severo and yaribel were amazing made my stay so relaxing the pool was beautiful and the hospitality was amazing I would definitely come back 10/10

I'd like to express my concern about the rude and unprofessional behavior I experienced from Rosemari during my stay at Tan Resorts. She doesn't seem to speak good english, she does not care about the customer's issues, she looks like she doesn't love her job. I felt that I was treated disrespectfully and spoken to in an inappropriate manner just because I was trying to get some problems fixed in my room. I understand that employees may have difficult or stressful days, but clients should still be treated with courtesy and professionalism.

Dairis we had amazing fun! The staff the leader entertainment was always on Point the shows the games! Very great service! My husband and Ihave a lot of fun. We’re gonna go home and play some of the games now! They helped us to laugh and have fun and to meet Tammy and Eric & Miss Millicent ! Oh, we like the pool the bar really enjoyed relaxing! I

Dairis is a good personable, and professional hostess. The staff at TAN are top notch. I felt very catered to. 10 stars to TAN.

This was our second time returning to the resort. We enjoyed the pool, activities and shows. The staff are very friendly and engaging... some of our favorites are Dairis, Yaribel. The all inclusive does not disappoint. Our room was beautiful overlooking the pool. Will definitely be back.

Got scammed by this hotel offered cheap excursion just to attend their presentation of time share (which they don’t want to admit it). One of the excursion did not pick us up. Ruined our vacation

WARNING of a scam. I am not one to put a bad review. I am all for acknowledging great service and giving credit where it’s due. We have travelled to about 40 countries and it’s our first time in the Dominican Republic. Upon grabbing our luggages at the airport, we were ushered to a desk. This gentleman said he works for the government and that they are promoting this TAN Resorts Marina Cap Cana. If we agree to visit the property, we will be given free breakfast and tour of the place and discount on our chosen excursions. He assured us it’s not selling time share. The first excursion was to Saona Island. The most disorganized experience. After being picked up at the hotel and dropped off at a meeting point, the tour guide (smelt like alcohol) said it will take 20 minutes for the ride to arrive. 45 minutes later, we see the newly dropped off group being ushered to a mini van and I asked what about us. The gentleman asked me to calm down when I pointed out the wait time and why we weren’t even called. Good thing Saona Island was beautiful. I said earlier that there was a scam. Our second excursion was for the buggy. Came to our lobby 15 minutes before pick up time and an hour later, nothing. We tried calling and texting the person from the airport where we paid all these, couldn’t find a solution or help in this situation. A staff from our own hotel (shout out to SANCTUARY CAP CANA) was trying to help us. She called several numbers and extension, messaged them at their what’s up number and NOTHING. No answer, no help, no resolution. They wasted our morning and left a sour taste. When you visit the Dominican Republic, get your excursions from your hotel. DON’T STOP at these desks at the airport and be lied to.

Dairis had the best service ever

TAN resort could use some improvements, but overall a good experience with our family. Just not a lot of things to do - pool and billiards. However, Dairis was AMAZING. So friendly, fun, and helpful. I looked forward to seeing her every day!

Tan was excellent the service, the internment, the food. Overall I enjoyed my statay here. I'll recommend Tan resort to anyone. Best place for family vacation in DR.

The negative part is that the beach is not at the resort you need to drive 10 minutes. No lifeguard on the pool and pool closes at 7pm. Bar close at 11PM. Staff very friendly and hospitable, many shows for the family to enjoy at night. Casino in the area was poor.

I loved everything from check in to check out, the pool staff all the bar staff, the restaurants, everything was great, would def come back to Tan Resorts!!

This was the best vacation! This resort service is awesome…

The room was spacious not as it was told. We were off at the very end of the building facing a back wall that was unattractive.The other side did open to a beautiful pool steps down away from it a great view. The food was subpar, and the top shelf liquor was nonexistent. I believe they refilled the bottles with cheap cheaper liquor. The staff were friendly. The first day I was walking to breakfast there was a step down that was not marked. I injured my left ankle in my right knee. The owner Cedric told me I was on my own. A lady named Dikka not sure of the spelling who is at the front desk sent a fabulous lady named Lucy to the hospital with me. I went to hospital Hospiten . I had an American Express card which I’ve had for 42 years. When I showed it to him they said great when it came time to pay it was 3000 then it was 1950 finally it was $900 because they finally got a hold of my insurance company. They threatened to throw me in jail because they said my American Express card was no good. American Express offered to Western Union money for me however, the hospital said if I left. They would have me arrested. I use my Visa card and got to go back to the Resort. Cedric did give us a boat ride which he said was a ride on a yacht. It was not. He also let us do the hot cold water plunge at the spa to make up for me. Missing my excursions and getting hurt. I’m just amazed that when I ask him for insurance information, he refused to give it to me and literally looked me in the face and told me I was on my own. after all this, I still did the 90 minute time presentation to which I told them I can’t trust the owner. I would never purchase here. We did meet many friendly people who felt compassion for me and we made the best of our trip. I traveled with a family friend who was gracious and kind and did not complain about me needing to ice back and not be able to do much.. Kelley was a trooper. She did the underwater excursion where you ride a little scooter underwater and she said it was amazing. I was so sad I missed that andthe four wheeler through the caves. I feel sure if I had not been injured. This would’ve been a fabulous trip. The country was beautiful. We at many nice restaurants because the food at the Property was not that good

This trip was a timeshare promotion that my friend and I bought. It was very inexpensive for five nights. You obviously get what you pay for. The village and community there are pretty nice, but if you do the timeshare, they put you in extremely outdated rooms that are in a section near the pool. They are in dire need of upgrading and just desperate upkeep. I think that they are beginning to refurbish them, but in the meantime, they’re using them for this timeshare promotion. There are several different restaurants on the property, but we were only allowed to eat at the main one or some nights they had one that they featured in particular. They weren’t terrible but it definitely could use improving. The pool was OK. It definitely could use some upgrading as could everywhere that we saw at the resort. Our room was a disaster. There were so many things wrong with the room. The bed was seriously horrific, the bathroom door lock was broken, the tub didn’t work, the room smelled super mildewed and those are just the highlights. I do think that it was because we were doing the timeshare. If we had had a different accommodation there it would’ve been a lot better. We both ended up getting sick after we got home because we were told the filtered water they served at the restaurant was OK to drink and we drank it the very last day of our trip and got super sick afterwards. Just a heads up. If you do the timeshare discounted trip be prepared for it to be very subpar. The presentation you have to sit through took 2 1/2 hours after they said 90 mins and it was very high pressure.

Tan Resorts is an absolutely beautiful place with an amazing staff My wife was very sick when we arrived and the staff upgraded our room and took very good care of us , the pools are beautiful, the place is extremely clean, the food is excellent Highly recommend this place when you visit Cap Cana

I'm at the tan resorts! very positive experience at A lot of the Foods was Good. Dairis is very professional &! positive polite and pleasant. We had aamazing time on playing bingo. I love the Brazilian night and the Italian night love a lot of good desserts! Bizcochito was very prompt, polite, and kind. I enjoyed dancing with him

I came here for the first time in March with my three kids, and we had so much fun that I decided to come back for my birthday in June of the same year. On my second trip, I wanted to get out and experience some authentic Dominican culture. Dairis, who was working by the pool, checked on me and asked how my stay was going. When I told her I wanted to do some local, authentic Dominican activities, she went completely out of her way to help. She showed me where to go, explained how to do it safely, and made sure I felt comfortable venturing out. Her hospitality was truly above and beyond. Because of employees like Dairis, I would absolutely recommend TAN Resorts. If you visit, be sure to find Dairis by the pool she'll point you in the right direction and help with whatever you need. She made my trip even more memorable!

This was my daughter's and my first visit to the Dominican Republic. When we arrived at the airport we were met and greeted by young lady who coordinated our transportation to the Resort. Although we arrived early, we able to drop our bags, grab lunch and check into our room. By check in time we were already poolside. The food was amazing and included an extensive variety. The rooms are very nice and spacious, we also had a patio that was in close proximity to a lot of the evening events. The staff was truly the best part of our trip. They were friendly, informative and always inviting. They always spoke to us like were just family. We would definitely come back because of the staff!

The staff at the pool side has been great Dairis has been great , with games and entertainment cornhole , bingo , and other games . Been and El Mello has been fun and great each and every day, . This grew is amazing and fun to be with , this what makes the vacation fin an exciting. Thank you an your staff for a amazing vacation..

My experience at Tan resort started of bad but when Dairis came around the energy changed. She has so much fun energy and she engages everyone to participate in activities. If It wasn’t for her I would’ve wanted my money back

We had a great time at this excellent all inclusive resort, which is now called TAN . Everything was great . The service was excellent. My friend is disabled. So for that reason, everyone helped us get around the property. Otherwise you have to walk or rent a golf cart which I am sure is quite expensive. The pool is very nice; Juanito beach is beautiful for lounging but less so for swimming because of the sargasso seaweed. The most helpful people were the drivers Nicolas and Felix. At the beach Dairis was very helpful. The food was not quite as good as some cruises; it was more Dominican than continental, and we ended up wasting a lot of food. There is a large buffet for breakfast and lunch and 2 night is 5 we could eat for free at La Bambino Italian Restaurant. All in all, well worth what we paid Monster for a very relaxing vacation. The weather in late May was fabulous.

I really enjoy Tan Entertainment! I love Bizcochito and El Mello, belen and dairis they are awesome! I loved the Michael Jackson show, it was the best!! They are always up for the best time and are so much fun! The bar and bartenders are so kind and lovely, as well as all the waiters and food. I’m loving my time here and can’t wait for the next activities and days!

I read a lot of mixed reviews, but to be fair most were under the old ownership. We knew the sales presentation would be high pressure, so we went in prepared. It was a little longer than 90 minutes, but the people were at least nice about it. That was the "worst" thing and it wasn't even that bad. We loved the food on the buffet, and that they had so many local foods. The Italian restaurant on site was our favorite. But really we found something we liked everywhere. Our room was nice e, clean, and so many of the staff were so friendly! I really had a great time. I loved learning the bachata by the pool and drinking fresh from the coconut.

My first day landing in the DR was a bit rough! The day I landed, it was my actual birthday. Got through customs and realized one of my smaller bags fell off my roller bag. We got outside and the hotel pickup driver was no where to be found. We called the hotel over and over with no answer, straight voicemail. Finally, the hotel called us back and stated we now had to pay for our own transportation. We were very upset. Got to the hotel, the staff was very rude and not companionate. Moving on, we met the rest of the entertainment and hospitality (food and drinks) staff and they turned our whole day and the rest of our trip around- minus the front desk who are to be the first impression. Belen and Bizcochito were the life of the hotel and kept us happy and entertained. They made crowd participation fun and enjoying. I totally recommend staying here just because of them. You see them the entire time. Jose who’s the entertainment manager is also a joy and you can see his training reflecting on the entire entertainment staff! Way to go guys! Now only if he can train the front desk, they will have a great package!

Had a great time at this location. Food was great. Service was excellent. Love the people. Met all our needs. A very “handle whatever you need to be happy” situation. Alcohol selection was solid. Rums especially. Jose handled all the entertainment and was hilarious at all times. You feel like you’re finally on a vacation after listening to him. Sandy was our favorite waiter. Can’t say enough about the staff. Good vibes. Relax, and let go. Way a vacation should be.

Me and my wife stayed at the TAN resort in PUNTA Cana and had an amazing time. The room was beautiful and spacious. The whole place was clean and the food was delicious. The entertainment was great. Jose the manager of the entertainment was amazing he funny and made us feel welcome. We had the most fun never laughed that hard in my life

The staff was really good, especially Jose he was a really funny and great dude. I also really liked the food and the people who worked at those places they were really friendly and the service was pretty quick. Lastly the amenities that came with this trip were great the free van to the beach was fantastic and we all had a great time at the beach. Dairis was also very helpful during our trip

Overall I had a great experience, the food music and activities were amazing. Great views from the marina to take photos. The rooms were spacious and accommodating. The staff and faculty were excellent.

Very beautiful resort , food was good. The marina view was great. Staff was very friendly and very helpful bar beside the pool was really good. They have planned a lot of activities every day engaging the kids rooms were very neat. Only thing was the fan was making a lot of sound, but no complaints other than that. You have to take a shuttle to go to the beach, which is every hour to the ocean, but other than that no downsides. Resort itself was very beautiful n picturesque giving both tropical n European stone built vibes. Would b good if they have more activities like zip lining

So many negatives I don’t know where to begin. Rooms are old need drastic remodeling smell of mold and mildew. My stay included AC units not working asked for maintenance EVERY Day received lies saying they are on the way😂, Front Desk and Hospitality language barrier along with ZERO follow up I had to ask towels 4 of the 6 day🤣. Food was a C-, D at best limited variety, for best quality use the restaurant not affiliated with TAN. One positive Beautiful Grounds

The location is in cap cana marina so is super safe and quiet. They have show om Thursday friday and Saturday. They make sure you are happy with the service. The room are huge and nice 👌. They do room service every other day. The views are great. Great resort for a family. The resort was super clean and the food is great. They have many different options. They have microwave om the room so is very awesome to have that option specially at night. You got access to juanillo beach in which is the best beach in cap cana. The general manager of the hotel Diakara is nice and friendly.

Great experience. Daisy was an amazing server who waited on us a few times at the main restaurant. In general, All the staff were friendly and the offsite activities were amazing.

This resort is absolutely terrible. From the unclear rooms to rhe nasty one option restaurant. The employees speak no English and the front staff and promoters lie to you about excursions. Now only if you don't care about food it's a very quiet and empty resort. Never again.

The best part of the resort stay was the entertainment crew specially Gugu & Miny Baby. The Katherryne hostess went beyond my expectations always with a smile.

The location is wonderful!! With so many fun activities, spa, pools, beach, beautiful landscape!! Great food!!! Most of all, the people are so kind and helpful with everything!!! I will definitely be going back again and again!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ 4 out of 5 Stars — Wonderful Stay. I would give 4.5/5 stars!! My stay at Tan Resorts was overall excellent. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the customer service truly stood out. The food was delicious all week, with different themed dinners each night—something I really enjoyed. The pools were clean and well-maintained, and the Friday Christmas party was absolutely fantastic. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and visually impressive. They provided nightly activities even a michael jackson impersonator and a dance crew. They had karaoke, Couples night game, Bingo game night. I did encounter a couple of issues: a recurring smoke smell that came through the ventilation once per day, and a condensation leak from the ceiling vent in the master bedroom. Maintenance was responsive and fixed the issue, but it still affected the experience slightly. Juanilo Beach being closed for 3 of the 7 days (they were dining a movie) was also disappointing, especially since daily beach time is a big part of my vacations. The market had items (sunscreen, chips, souvenirs etc but VERY OVERPRICED) Bring your beach items and Tylenol or things you may need. The staff, however, exceeded every expectation. They were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. Special recognition to Daisy, Alvi, Celso, Chanel, Yanellisa, Sandy, Maria, Julian, Geraldin, Carlos and our amazing housekeeper (whose name I regretfully forgot). Their service was truly 10-star quality. Additional highlights included: • Convenient WhatsApp concierge line for fast communication (9am–7pm) • Incredible spa with hydrotherapy, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi & massage options. The manager MS. INDIRA was the best ever!! The massage therapists were all amazing as well, especially MS . LAYSHA. (Fantastic) • Clean and well-equipped gym • Shuttle to Juanilo Beach and Lago Azul — where the fish gave us a natural “foot pedicure” experience • Calming, relaxing vibe — not overly touristy or crowded Taxi rides off-resort are pricey ($65–$75 USD one-way, even for short trips), but the resort provides almost everything you need nearby. Overall, Tan Resorts was a highlight among my past vacations. It’s perfect for those looking to unwind, disconnect, and enjoy tranquility. I’d happily return and recommend it to travelers seeking a peaceful, luxury escape.

The serving staff and entertainment staff were wonderful. We really enjoyed the Christmas celebration. The room was very clean and tidy. It is a fairly family friendly resort. Not a ton for the kids to do, but the entertainment staff did their best.

Stayed at Cap Cana with our family for a week and overall had a great time. Weather and food were fantastic and the entertainment staff (Belen and Mini Baby) were fun and energetic! We did have a few issues with our room (accommodated 3 people instead of 4), hot water took some time to kick in and we had to flush the toilets several times to clear. Tried the Italian restaurant and the wait time for food was more than 30 minutes as they were understaffed. Buffett was great and always had great diverse options for everyone. If you are looking for a place to relax with minimal disruptions, this is the place for you. Definitely leaving rested and relaxed.

Loved every single activity and service offered. Room, view, Salsa class beaide the pool (best one and Gugugu was the best), breakfast buffet, lunch and Dinner. Highly recommended.

Scooby and mini baby was amazing they hosted the events through out the day and night. Room was very clean! Food was excellent! Bar was great, food and drinks was great Staff was very friendly and welcoming!!! Locations is in a gated community very safe.

THE ENTERTAINMENT STAFF WAS PERFECT! The Chefs and Housekeeping were SO KIND, Attending, and so perfect! THEY WERE ALL SO ACCOMMODATING, GUGUGU and BELIN are so much fun! Dalin and Alfredo were amazing bartenders! The entertainment nights were so much fun! They had dance off and karaoke!

We have an excellent experience. The staff in the front desk were so nice and very servicial.. I can't wait to comeback next time around Both the sraff in the restaurant , rooms and the swimming pool were so professional and very accomodating.

Very quiet place to stay staff very friendly and food was good. Bar staff and entertainment staff were amazing. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Yes everything was great I love the entertainment the bar service and the food could use more night life but otherwise great gugugu

Even on the off season we were treated well and staff was attentive we had 11 in our group spread over 3 different rooms and we had a 3 bdrm a 2bdrm as well as a studio and each form was spacious and luxurious and definitely will book again .

I absolutely loved my stay at SIR. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were beautiful, They even had entertainment. Belen by the quiet pool along with the rest of the staff were so hospitable!! I would definitely come back again. Made me feel at home and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Thanks you guys for your amazing service ❤️🤗❤️

Belende and his team did an excellent job. With all activities and kept us entertained at the pool. Food was great, service at the bar was unmatched and I got nothing but great things to say about this resort. Highly recommended

Belende, Katherine, Alfredo, Dailin, Yaribell, DJ, Ricardo, Christopher, & gogo were wonderful servers and entertainment. Karaoke night was the highlight of our stay. 10/10

We didn’t stay here, but unfortunately, we were lied to at the airport by one of their representatives. We had arranged a transfer from the airport to our hotel (Breathless) with Nexus Tours, and two of the ladies led us to a man named Jonathan. I kept showing my QR quote, but all he wanted was to sell us an excursion, breakfast, and a tour of their hotel. At first, we thought Nexus was selling the excursions, as most tour companies do. It wasn’t until Jonathan took nearly an hour and made us miss our transfer that we realized this wasn’t Nexus Tours. We bought an excursion and agreed to the breakfast because he said it was only a few minutes from our hotel, which was another lie. It’s actually an hour away! This man then proceeded to harass my phone after we told him we wanted our money back and that we wouldn’t be going on the hotel tour. He kept saying that our hotel would tell us not to go, but our hotel didn’t even mention half of what he kept insisting we say no to. He really needs to practice what he preaches, because he’s the person we should have been telling no. How about you all focus on selling timeshares to the people who actually stay at your resorts, not those whose trips are already planned with another hotel. This has been the biggest letdown of our trip, and we definitely will not be staying at this hotel ever! Breathless has been nothing but amazing to us, and aside from a few issues, I’ll definitely be returning to spend my hard-earned money with them. I will be speaking with the airport about this matter to ensure we get our refunds and to prevent anyone else from dealing with this foolishness. As someone who works in Law. I will also speak with the Canadian government to ensure Canadian visitors are not taken advantage of at the Punta Cana airport ever again!

Buen desayuno, habitacion de excelente tamaño; mas bien un apartamento de 2 habitaciones. La nuestra daba directo a patio y piscina saliendo por la terraza. La nevera llena de agua y refrescos y una bandeja de frutas. Parrillada en la piscina muy buena con picaña y pollo al grill. El personal super amable. Inmejorable en esos sentidos.

Mas que problema del alojamiento es un tema ambiental con el sargazo que ha sido catastrofico. El olor se sentia dentro de la habitacion. Lo otro que noté es que la gente que va alli en camisilla o sin camisa a cenar o comer. Creo que la formalidad, o al menos ir correctamente deberia ser una regla generalf

Great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and the bar had great drinks. Definitely recommend!

The resort was very nice and clean. The food was ok and the drinks were plentiful. There wasn't more than 20 ppl in the pool but the entertainment staff still tried to get the guest involved in wster aerobic, bingo, and other games.

I like the drinks and the food, that the Hospitality Group provided for me! Especially Scooby Doo, and the Micheal Jackson show. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even the Bartenders were amazing at the Dugg Out Italiano Restaurant!

Had a wonderful time. The staff was amazing and friendly. Water aerobics was very fun. The food was very good. Bartender at the pool was very good! 👍

Staff was great! Felix, Belen, Mini Baby at the pool were all so much fun! Rooms were way beyond expectations. Pool area is awesome!

Very limited food selection Nothing to do after 11 pm Nightshift front desk had no clue of anything No restaurants open all week. Only buffet Bar ran out of anytthing you were drinking and had to swtich to whatever was available . They closed everything at 11 pm. Staff were very friendly and room super clean.

Nice places great staff they take care of and all your needs. Only wish the pool Would stay open past 7 am. My family loves the pool And we had to get out at 7 pm no good
