Soggiorno davvero piacevole. La posizione è fantastica e la camera, appena rinnovata, era bellissima, molto pulita e con una splendida vista sul lago. Il personale è stato sempre gentile e disponibile. Bellissima anche la terrazza panoramica, davvero particolare e sicuramente uno dei punti di forza dell’hotel! Ci tornerei molto volentieri

Soggiorno davvero eccellente. La posizione è fantastica, direttamente sul lago, e la vista è semplicemente splendida. Tutta la struttura è molto curata e la pulizia impeccabile. Un grande punto di forza è anche il garage: comodissimo, soprattutto considerando la posizione dell’hotel, e davvero pratico per chi arriva in auto. Il personale è stato sempre gentilissimo, disponibile e attento.

The staff, especially Karen, were professional, friendly and very helpful in arranging taxis, massages and reservations. The grounds were beautiful. The restaurant was good and the rooms nice.

Il prezzo di €314 per una notte è eccessivo. Abbiamo soggiornato meno di 24h per via dei vincoli del check-in e checkout quindi pagare così tanto soldi (+ il costo del parcheggio a parte) è veramente eccessivo.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We arrived quite early and were very happy that an early check-in was possible. The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building and has a very elegant and authentic atmosphere. The staff at reception and at breakfast were always friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the swimming pool. We spent many hours relaxing there. The water was pleasantly warm, and we really enjoyed lying on the sun loungers and ordering drinks from the bar. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of options and good-quality products. It was especially lovely to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. The location of the hotel is excellent — very central and close to the lake. Having covered parking right next to the hotel was also a big plus. We also enjoyed the beautiful terrace with stunning views of the lake and the mountains. In the evening, there was live music with a singer performing both international and Italian songs, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay and would definitely be happy to return in the future.

When I booked I chose a classic room, which was a mistake as it over looked the main road I went to reception and they managed to upgrade us to a lake/pool view at minimal cost.

Hotel an sich gut, aber nicht geeignet zum Sonnenbaden. In die Jahre gekommener Pool, keine Möglichkeit am See zu liegen, keine Atmosphäre. Für Strandtücher bekommt man eine Karte die man nicht verlieren darf, nicht dass was man von einen gehobeneren Hotel erwartet. Lieber auf die andere Seite vom Gardasee. Für Ausflüge und zum übernachten gut geeignet.

This is our 8th visit to Gardone, 4th in this hotel. We love the location which is beautiful and peaceful. The hotel and staff were as lovely as always. The food was amazing, especially the soups and desserts, however I would comment that the menu had an excessive amount of cheese on it (more than previous years). We had the same room as last year which we liked and it was kept spotlessly clean. Looking forward to returning next year.

Es war etwas laut, weil wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die stark befahrene Straße hatten. Mit geschlossener Balkontür ging es jedoch und wir haben gut geschlafen, teilweise wie die Steine.

I would have given 4.5 as just a couple of things didn't quite make 5 stars. First the positives, very warm welcome from the staff on reception, the staff in the restaurant and bar were lovely, professional, attentive and very friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The girls who cleaned the rooms were in every day, tea coffee and milk were always replenished. Fresh towels every day. Food in the restaurant was always good, plenty of choice for breakfast, dinner choices different every evening. Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Now the reason I couldn't give 5 stars. We were in room 210, it had a window which we couldn't leave open as it was facing on to a very busy noisy road. Also the shower head in our bathroom was a little loose so we often had a very wet bathroom floor which was very slippy. We would return but not with a road facing room.

The pool area was very poorly organized and poolside service was hard to find. Having to bring wet pool towels up to reception each day was a unique experience.

Nicely placed right on the promenade and lake. Staff were kind and helpful. Great pool area and beautiful setting for breakfast.

No direct lake access for swimming, had to walk quite a ways to go swim. Power went out twice during the stay which was inconvenient because there was a heat wave and we had no AC!

The location was very good. But the hotel was old and not well maintained. The A/C went off many times while the heat wave was aweful. The pool bar was not staffed. The restaurant closed at 9pm. Breakfast is ok but only buffet.

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a young child in our group and the pool was amazing and a lovely temperature. We had 4th floor lake view rooms which were beautiful. The views were stunning. There are restaurants and bars as soon as you step out of the hotel and we couldn’t fault any of them. Gardone itself is a lovely peaceful area to stay. We took the ferry to Sirmione, Salo and Riva. Really easy to get tickets and the ferry is very near the hotel. We would return

Absolutely loved this place. Very welcoming and friendly staff. We loved the personal attention to detail. The owner made a genuine effort to personally welcome each guest even offering to let the guests sit in his Ferrari ! Our waiter Nawfel was superb. He welcomed us every night by name and even offered to get the chef to create an individual dish, if there wasn’t anything on the menu that we liked. We didn’t need to take him up on that as the food was excellent ! The room was spotless as was the restaurant and bar areas. The only niggle was a lack of privacy on the balcony. But apart from that I would highly recommend this hotel !

We have just returned from our third visit to this very peaceful hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is very well managed, and all the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional in their approach to everyone. The restaurant runs like clockwork, and has a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The whole team us very ably led and communication between staff and guests is very good. The half board menu is very Italian, with a strong focus on pasta, vegetarian and cheese dishes, with usually only one meat or fish course . There are however some very good starters and desserts. I personally found the menu challenging at times, but was impressed by the way some adaptations were offered where possible. The hotel is spotless and beautifully furnished and decorated, and bedrooms are well maintained, with frequent changes of bedding and towels. The pool and gardens are great additions for a really relaxing stay. Gardone is a quiet, small town, with shops and restaurants, and a place people go from, rather than come to, so it is largely uncrowded compared with other towns around the lake. There is easy access to the ferries and local buses. For anyone wanting a quiet peaceful holiday, this is the perfect spot .

Stayed here as part of an Italian Lakes tour. Very nice hotel our room was comfortable staff were brilliant. Lovely views over lake Garda. Only thing that stopped me giving a 5 was that there very little to do in the resort seemed to need to get a boat to more interesting places

La sauna era troppo calda sembrava un forno e non una sauna. Non abbiamo resistito più di quattro minuti dentro.

The room was large and luxurious with a Romeo and Juliet balcony. The breakfast was fit for a king.The location of the hotel at Gardonne Riviera was breathtaking. Most importantly for us was that our motor car was in a safe and secure hotel car park.

Alcune piccole pecche: il garage auto è adiacente all'hotel, ma non ha un accesso diretto. Per raggiungerlo occorre uscire dall'hotel, attraversare un piccolo posteggio pubblico, scendere alcuni gradini, poi prendere l'ascensore. Il tutto risulta scomodissimo in caso di pioggia o se si hanno bagagli pesanti. Peraltro, nessuno ci ha chiesto se avevamo bisogno di aiuto con i bagagli. Considerato che oltre al costo della stanza (già non modesto) il garage si paga a parte e costa ben 12 euro a notte, ci sembra non positivo. L'accesso alla piscina prevede delle card da consegnare per ottenere i teli da bagno. Scesi in piscina si scopre che i teli vengono dati alla reception e non dal bagnino, pertanto occorre tornare al piano superiore in costume da bagno per ottenerli. Scomodo ma accettabile se semplicemente si venisse avvisati al momento del ceck. E' ovviamente una piccola cosa, ma considerato la fascia molto alta dell'hotel, sono piccole mancanze che spiccano. Il generale poi non si riceve l'attenzione continua che viene dedicata alla clientela in altri hotel di pari livello.

Perfect location next to the lake and local shops and restaurants. Also easy walk to catch the ferry to como. Hotel is clean and comfortable but would benefit from some modernisation in places, particularly the bathroom.

We loved the location and the view of the lake from the upper rooms was lovely. The food was amazing. However, initially we didn’t get the room we’d booked, we were put on the first floor in a lovely room but the lake was heavily obscured by overgrown trees, this was finally remedied with a move to the fifth floor but not before turning another room down and suffering lots of stress having to prove I’d booked a balcony with a view of the lake and we weren’t settled into our acceptable room until later the next day. Sadly this meant our first 24 hours was tense. The food and restaurant was lovely and my husband’s dietary needs accommodated but the staff in the restaurant were miserable. Pool area was lovely but only sun beds were available, would have liked some nice comfortable seating in the gardens again with a lake view (which could be achieved by pruning the trees and bushes) otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Nice hotel facing the lake, We stayed 3 nights in a small roo on 1 st floor with balcony. The view of the lake is obscured by trees. The room also overlooks the pool. We found the room suffered from upstairs noise. Not sure if this is another room or some public area. The hotel has too many rules.eg, towel card must be returned or EURO25 fee! The fridge can only be used for hotel products! No washing to be left outside while the hotel charges a bomb for laundry. There are no self service laundries nearby. The hotel,was booked by Imagine cruises so we had no choice in the matter. Rate is over $300per night for 2 incl breakfast. It’s an old hotel that has been nicely modernised and staff are always helpful.

We couldn’t fault our stay at The Savoy Palace, our room was spacious, exceptionally clean and also had a larger than planned balcony with seating area on. Breakfast was quiet whatever time we went down, never any queues, food was always plentiful, thanks to Julius for making daily pancakes! The room was serviced at least twice a day and always had fresh towels and tea/coffee topped up. We had a hire car and were always able to secure a parking space at hotel. Thank you 🤩

Excellent hotel with great location. I found the food in the restaurant slightly overpriced though. I was requested to upgrade my room to a full lake view and even though the room upgrade mentioned that I could get one with terrace and a full lake view, I was given a room with french balcony! i booked well ahead of time and also sent requests to the hotel about the best room with the view but was not given the one with the terrace! The manager gave some excuse like "it is a full panoramic view category" but none of that was mentioned in the reservation and the upgrade room description did indicate terrace! Other than that, the stay was wonderful!

Our room was near the street with lots of noise from outside and inside of our room was visible from the road. Technology not even possible to change your clothes during the day! The rooms are very expensive for the quality of service and rooms they offer. Not worth the value at all

Hotel is perfect for peace and quiet. Alittle outdated and requires a touch of paint and upgrading to the decor as it looks like it hasnt been touched since it reopened in the 1990's. position was great and could get to Salo on foot or by ferry. Shower disapointing as it was a shower head on bath which just about reached the bracket. rooms very clean but again needs updating. They supplied bathrobes and slippers which i have stayed in a 5* in gran Canaria and they wernt provided. Sun loungers very uncomfortable and wasnt stable these need upgrading. Breakfast was the most disappointing of all, very limited choice, coffee machine didnt work for two of the four days we were there.

The staff make this Hotel the lovely place that it is. Friendly, helpful and with a sense of humour they all go the extra mile. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis, had breakfast in the hotel which was varied. I would have like to be served with tea and coffee rather than helping ourselves from a machine. Our room was not overlooking the lake and therefore was a little disappointing, however we spend very little time in our room when on holiday but as we get older it is nice to have somewhere to have a rest. The view from the room was awful - a garage! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was a shower over the bath which for my 80 year old husband was difficult to get into. Basically this room, and probably other needs refurbishing. The hotel was a short walk along the lakeside to the boat station and the route was lined with restaurants. We ate in a different restaurant each night and didn't have a bad meal in the 11 days we were there. We went on boat trips. to various places but really likes Salo and Sirmione although the later was very busy. The swimming pool at the Hotel was beautiful and we didn't have any problems getting a sunbed when we came back from our travels in the afternoons. There were graduating steps to get into and out of the pool but there is nothing to hold on to. It needs a rail down the centre of the steps, (A bit like the one at The Grand Hotel). Again my husband had trouble getting out of the pool. All in all we had one of the best holiday and if we returned to Gardone we would certainly stay at The Savoy Palace again. Many thanks to ALL the staff.

The hotel & the hospitality was like stepping back in time. Everyone was so helpful the hotel seemed to be a family run business as nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We certainly be booking again

Wir haben das Frühstück und Abendessen im Schatten am Pool genossen, das Personal geht auf alle Wünsche ein, nichts ist zu viel. Wir waren am 14. August dabei, als es BBQ am Pool mit Livemusik und Tanz zu Ferragosto gab. Das war ein unvergesslich schöner Abend. Die Betten sind gemütlich, der Pool angenehm temperiert, ausreichend Liegestühle, kein Gedränge am Frühstücksbüffet. Ein rundum perfektes Hotel für einen entspannten Urlaub. Wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut, dass abends nochmals feuchte und gebrauchte Handtücher getauscht wurden.

Wie in fast allen Hotels und durch die Lage am See morgens schon etwas lauter. Das WLAN war meist überlastet. Ansonsten nichts was uns negativ aufgefallen wäre!

First off, I will say that this hotel does not sell itself very well, so we were very pleasantly surprised by everything along the way. Staff would do well to show you around when you check in, so little things are not missed (e.g. we didn't realise there was a terrace until the last day!!), and you are initially acquainted with everything the hotel has to offer. The hotel is gorgeous, feels like a little slice of the past, but not in a cringeworthy outdated way. It still retains an opulent feel, despite the fact it is not particularly modern. We made the (what we thought was) mistake of booking a room without a lake view, but when we went to change, we decided to stick where we were, as the 'lake view' was from a tiny window on the second floor, and not worth an extra 30 euros per night. If you're desperate for a lake view, I'd say book a room with a balcony in advance from the fifth floor, if that's important to you. But we found our balcony had a pretty, lush green view, and we didn't really spend much time in the room anyway. The road noise is a little loud, but you do get used to it, and it's not so bad at night with the door closed. Our room was nice and had a bath with shower over the bath (which isn't ideal, but not the end of the world). Be warned that the bed is very firm. Thankfully, I do not mind a firm bed at all, but this may be concerning for some travellers. There are shutters to block the light so you can get a good night's sleep. The air conditioning feels good in the day, very cold; but at night, even if you have it as low as ten degrees, the room still feels quite warm. I don't mind sleeping in a warmer room, but it did feel like the air con wasn't as good at night, not sure why. The absolute highlight of this hotel (if you go half board) is the dinner. Good grief, it was a culinary delight every single night. You can choose from a set menu, which CHANGES DAILY, and it gives you an opportunity to try new things every evening. It was absolutely phenomenal. Didn't have a bad course, and there were five of them each night. The portions are incredibly generous, and you will not leave feeling even slightly hungry. Staff are nice and attentive. However, one thing I will say, is that the outdoor seating, which most people use to dine on in the evening, is NOT adequate. They are patio chairs with a thin cushion, and I just could not imagine wanting to spend hours and hours sitting on those while I enjoyed a fine dining experience. I'd really recommend the hotel investing in some decent seating options outside, because it would've made the experience even more lovely. If I saw a restaurant with these seats in my home country, I would actively avoid it, and most people would too, so it would be good to see this changed. I have seen people say that the drinks are extortionate here. The prosecco we had almost nightly was about 24.50 euros, which we thought was reasonable. However, an Aperol spritz will set you back 11 euros by the pool. Literally across the way there is a bar selling them for half the price. I'd recommend you go there for lunch as well. You can get a panini for 8 euro, compared to a club sandwich at the hotel for 25. We sampled the club sandwich one day, and it was predominantly egg-filled and bland. The pool area is nice, very chilled for the most part. The pool itself does look like it needs a good scrub though. I'd recommend reserving a seat by the pool when you go down for breakfast, as it can get extremely busy, and saw some people having to place sun beds on the grassy areas on some days because there wasn't enough poolside seats. Breakfast had good options, but it was pretty much the same every day. But there is an omelette and pancakes station where you can get things cooked fresh for you, which is a great idea. There are pastries, meat and cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausage, plenty of juices to choose from, a reasonably decent coffee machine. You won't really want for anything, but there was no variety from day to day. Be aware that you will get charged tourist tax as part of your final bill. This wasn't mentioned to us on arrival, but we were obviously aware it was going to happen. It was two euros per person per night. If you are getting things charged to the room, make a note of the date and what you had so there are no surprises when you come to pay the bill at the end. Overall, this hotel is charming, in the most beautiful setting, and there's something about it that's so lovely. I'd definitely recommend people visit, even though there are things that can be improved, we had a thoroughly lovely time, and we think Lake Garda is amazing.

Este un hotel extrem de frumos intr-o locatie draguta pe malul Lago di Garda. Curatenia este extrem de buna. Se face curat in camere si de 2 ori pe zi ceea ce eu nu am mai vazut la alte hoteluri.

2 lucruri sunt insa de mentionat ca minusuri - wifi este foarte prost, iar daca ai ghinion sa nimeresti camere cu geamuri la strada eate ingrozitor de zgomotos.

Another fantastic stay at this Lovely Hotel for 2 weeks. A great location in a beautiful place. So convenient for the Lake, shops, restaurants and Ferry. The staff are lovely and helpful and the food as always fab! We will almost certainly be back very soon :)

L'hôtel est splendide et magnifiquement situé sur le front de mer. Les équipements sont d'excellente qualité et l'ensemble des prestations impeccables : petit déjeuner, le restaurant est excellent, piscine, salle de sport, personnel très poli et à l'écoute.

The hotel is beautiful, not modern but extremely good quality furnishings. Lovely decor especially in the seating areas. Room nice size & good quality bedding. Staff very friendly & helpful, efficient, nothing to much trouble. The breakfast has lots of choices. The bar & especially the terrace with view over the lake are just beautiful. Everything was perfect. A very nice room with a stunning lake view. A highly competent and thoughtful team, especially the receptionists. A great breakfast and very nice pool.

We had an amazing holiday. This is our 3rd visit to this hotel and we plan to return next year. The room, although small with limited wardrobe space for 14 days, was cleaned to a high standard with clean towels daily and regular changes of bedding. The room would benefit from tea and coffee making facilities. The food was spectacular. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Schönes gepflegtes Ambiente im alten Still. Sehr freundliches und sehr bemühtes Personal. Da leider kein Taxi verfügbar war, würden wir vom Chef des Hotels zu unserem Restaurant gebracht. War außergewöhnlich nett. Wir waren sehr von der Freundlichkeit und dem Entgegenkommen begeistert. 😁👍👍👍
