From preparing the trip, and receiving the call from Mariam in “Guest Relations” to make sure all our needs will be prepared, to the amazing welcome, the beautiful hospitality, and the staff that was very friendly in all the steps
Great breakfast, access to the best beach in the world, golf cars ready to take us anywhere around Almaza, and again, Mariam, checking on us and making sure we are happy all along our stay
It won’t be our last for sure, thank you for the great trip
The room, the beach and the atmosphere.
The dinner. Also a piece of advice, that the hotel needs to promote the Egyptian culture. The hotel seemed like an hotel in Italy not to mention that the Italians themselves would like to be immersed in the country’s culture they travel to rather than feeling at home.

No concierge, no food options when you order by phone
Facilities were fine but customer service is horrible. Called them over 3 times for them to get my luggage to help me checkout. I also forgot an item there in my room asked them for assistance in coordinating a courier which I am more than happy to pay for but they responded and said your mistake you are on your own. The customer service is subpar for a hotel at this price point ($500 per night)
Customer service was very negative and the facility was very outdated.
The door to my room wouldn't lock the entire time I was there.
I also forgot about couple of precious items, that my young children really wanted and the hotel refused to send them over. After paying $500 per night I expected better customer service. I thought i was staying with a respectful hotel with better standards. This hotel lost a loyal customer that was willing to come back. Next time around I will choose other hotels in the north coast that care about good customer service... for example Rixos alamein..

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026The room size is good for a family of four. The hotel’s location is excellent, close to the village, many popular restaurants, and the beach. The beach itself is amazing and very clean, and it was always easy to find sunbeds.
The rooms are in serious need of renovation, especially the bathrooms. The shower rod kept coming off, and the toilet looked old and poorly maintained. Considering how expensive the room was, I absolutely did not feel that the quality or overall experience justified the price.
Unfortunately, the service also left me feeling frustrated throughout my stay. Mariam from Guest Relations tried to help arrange some restaurant bookings for my friend and me, but not all of them were secured. On our last day, I remember asking her if I could go to a restaurant just 30 minutes earlier than planned, and I was told there was “no way” because it was fully booked. I decided to go anyway about an hour earlier and try my luck, only to find the restaurant practically empty. They welcomed me in without any issue. Experiences like this made me feel that the hotel was unnecessarily complicating things rather than trying to make our stay easier.
I was also extremely disappointed that my 13-year-old daughter was treated as an adult for the hotel charges. I asked whether an exception could be made given her age, but I was told it was simply “the system.” I ended up paying an additional $120 per day for her for all four nights $480 in total. For a hotel at this price point, I expected more understanding and flexibility rather than simply being told that nothing could be done.
What really left a bad final impression happened on the day of our departure. My original driver, whom I was supposed to pay around $70 for the airport transfer, had an accident and could no longer take us. The hotel arranged a replacement car for $250. I understand that it was a last-minute arrangement, but charging more than three times the price felt excessive. After already spending a significant amount on this stay, I left Jazz Elite feeling, unfortunately, that I had been seriously overcharged rather than looked after.
The food by the pool was also very average, and the service was slow.

Location is fantastic, staff were very kind and helpful
The rooms are old, the bathrooms are average at best. The keycard system was down for the majority of the stay so everytime I wanted to get in my room I had to call someone to open it. Golf car availability was low. The room does not have an iron or ironing board, when received the iron was defective.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Amazing service from every member of the staff—they truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, valued, and comfortable. We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a family room, which was conveniently located close to all the amenities and made our stay as a family of four even more enjoyable.
The beach is absolutely stunning—the best I’ve ever been to. Our three-year-old was entertained throughout our stay, whether he was at the beach, in the pool, or joining in with the entertainment team. He had an amazing time, and so did we!
Will I come back? Obviously :)

they should have more bellmen to accommodate for the guests .. we needed to call more than 3 times during our check-out for someone to come and help with the luggage ... also the bathroom amenities were a little bit poor for a hotel of this standard.

Reviewed May 25, 2026I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The place was very clean, comfortable, and the atmosphere was amazing from the moment I arrived. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and always ready to help.
A special thanks to Enjy Adel for the outstanding hospitality and excellent service. She was kind, attentive, and made my stay even more enjoyable. Her professionalism and positive attitude truly reflect the high quality of the hotel.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a welcoming experience. I will definitely visit again

Reviewed May 23, 2026Our stay at this hotel in Egypt was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we checked in, everything was disorganized and disappointing.
The air conditioner in our room was completely broken, and despite repeatedly calling reception, it took almost 2 hours just to change our room. After a long day of travel, this was absolutely unacceptable.
None of the outdoor pools were heated, and even the indoor pool was not working at all. This felt very misleading.
The guest relations representative, was extremely unprofessional and unable to handle even basic guest concerns properly. Unfortunately, the same applies to the front desk manager, who showed no real interest in resolving issues or improving the situation.
The hygiene standards of some staff members also need serious improvement. On top of that, the hotel was overcrowded and clearly unprepared to deal with the number of guests. The staff seemed poorly trained, overwhelmed, and unable to manage complaints or provide proper service.
Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

كررت اكثر من مره بأن جودة الطعام ليست على مستوى جيد ويجب الاهتمام بأنواع الدهون المستخدمه وان يكون هناك مراجعه للحفظ والتخزين وليس من المهم وجود أصناف كثيره من الطعام دون مذاق جيد او تسبب مشاكل صحية
Despite that we didn't like our stay as an overall experience, but here ate things we liked as a family:
- Front desk amazing experience and thanks to Mr Ihab and Ms. Mirrette for all their efforts to recover us during check out
- Beach team specially AbdulAzim who was very friendly and supportive
- Mohamed from Housekeeping
- Beach was amazing and very nicely prepared for guests
- Pools were very nice and clean
- Location is amazing and close to the city
- Clinic team is very professional and they supported us big time during our stay
We are regular Jaz customers, and frankly speeking we were totally shocked with the level training of F&B team. It is a shame that such unfriendly behaviors from couple of team members can ruin an overall experience. The restaurant team made us feel totally unwelcomed and felt like we are begging food or help, even a simple silverware request is argued with us by one pf their supervisors that we didn't request it properly, it felt very strange to come to Jaz to be taught lessons about how to request help from the staff in the restaurant 😃
Adding to this that the breakfast is so bad and we could spot some items not being served fresh in the same day specially the bakeries.
We will never be back to Jaz Almaza and highly do not recommend it.

Greeted with smile in every corner of the resort, amazing views and excellent service made our stay one of the greatest we've ever had. Clean spatious room with amazing view, richness and diversity of the breakfast and dinner buffet, and clear crystal water are some of the top aspects to be mentioned. Everything at the location has a good maintanance even showers on the pool/beach area. Great services guys! reasonable prices as well. Can't wait to return for another vacation

Despite being marketed as a five-star hotel, the overall experience fell significantly short of expectations. The management appears overly focused on cost reduction at the expense of guest satisfaction, with little regard for the services and standards originally promised at the time of booking. Unfortunately, the value for money is extremely poor, and the experience does not reflect the level typically associated with a hotel in this category.

The food was terrible
I suffered from severe gastroenteritis from the buffet and i spent the worst night of my life staying up the whole night vomitting, bloated and severe diahrea
And to make it all worse there's no clinic/doctor available at all times and i eas told that he comes st 10 am
Plus the nearest pharmacy was in the city of marsa matruh and when i tried to deliver medicine from that pharmacy it took nearly 5 hours

Jedzenie było okropne cała nasza rodzina chorowała. Przykład w makaronie do spagetti które podawaliśmy dzieciom były pokruszone muszlę małży ponieważ Pan nie umył patelni po poprzednim smażeniu. W hotelu animacje są jedynie po czesku włosku lub rosyjsku i są bardzo słabe. Plac zabaw dla dzieci większość czasu jest zamknięty. Na leżakach nie da się leżeć są baaaardzo daleko od plaży i są plastikowe czarne, można wynająć gazeto za 1000 zł za dzień …

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026Le séjour dans l’hôtel était exceptionnelle, tout est dans l’hôtel, si vous voulez vous reposer, plage privée, piscine, jacuzzi, et marché le long de la plage, juste magnifique. Le personnel est accueillant, et souriant. Ahmed et Fayed vraiment des personnes exceptionnelle.
L’animation n’était pas au top, après ce n’était pas la saison.
Il n’y a rien autour de l’hôtel, si on veut visiter la ville ce n’est pas possible.
Le repas, le faite les boissons soit payant alors qu on a pris le petit déjeuner et le souper.

Good food variety in breakfast and dinner. Excellent environment, palms, garden, swimming pools. Beach has life guards everywhere which makes you feel safe.

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025The beach is amazing but noisy, the size of the room was convenient with nice terrace views. The landscape and outdoor design is welcoming and comfortable.
The staff were not co-operative in some situations, the service during the breakfast and dinner were not up to the standard. Room utilities are so limited.
