il mare purtroppo era pieno di alghe, solo li in tutta l'isola , peccato davvero, cena al 23 molto carina abbiamo cenato due volte e sempre molto buono, anche la palapa una piacevole alternativa per qualcosa di veloce

nulla a parte le alghe che non dipendono dalla struttura, forse il fatto che tutto chiudesse molto presto la palapa alle 9 pm il 23 alle 9.30, dopo non potevi più bere o mangiare nulla

Os espaços comuns estão muito desatualizados! Os restaurantes, as piscinas e mobiliário de praia e piscina necessitam urgentemente de ser modernizados . A prai é muito suja! Imensos plásticos no areal e na água e nunca vi os funcionários a recolherem. O entretenimento é sufrível.

The private beach and included beach gear was great. No up charge for chairs under umbrellas. No charge for kayaks, SUP, snorkeling gear. The food at the restaurant 23 North and Palapas was some of the best we had in Exuma. The room was amazing, basically a large condo with exceptional views from upstairs.

The food was not cheap nor exceptional by American fine dining standards, which was the case for the island in general. Food on the island was maybe Chili's or Outback quality at best. There were a few standout dishes, but in general the food was the least pleasing part of the trip (Exuma in general, not just at Grand Isle). The food at Grand Isle was top tier for Exuma

The staff was great and the property was absolutely beautiful.

The resort had two restaurants and a bbq stand. The food wasn’t the best and was quite costly.

The Villa was very nice and clean. We loved having the space. The location was perfect. The most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen.

Needs pest control. I encountered a few cockroaches at night in the bathroom. Also saw one in the outdoor restaurant. Also needs to Apply Natural Pesticides on the beach close to vegetation for sand fleas. We got many bites. We will comeback if promise to take care of that situation. The food in the outdoor restaurant needs to improve as well. We couldn’t have dessert bc the chefs left early :( You have a beautiful property which much potential

Very safe place with beautiful grounds. Maintenance and security staff very friendly and helpful.

The gardeners should spend time in the morning to clean the beach instead of cutting hedges with noisy machines at 7am.

Pagamos una fortuna y no nos dieron un cuarto como el de la foto era más oscuro y la limpieza dejaba mucho que desear.

Faltó limpieza, servicio el personal de playa se iba muy temprano y la playa está demasiado sucia y en la semana entera que estuvimos ahí NUNCA la limpiaron . Y para un hotel que se dice de 5 estrellas y es el único en la isla de esa categoría deja mucho que desear.

Es wurde freundlich Hallo gesagt. Ebenso war die Lage an dem schönen Strand toll.

Preis Leistung ist unterirdisch. Selbst das Wasser auf dem Hotel Zimmer gibt es nicht. Für den hohen Preis erkauft man sich maximal die Ruhe, ansonsten ist alles in die Jahre gekommen wenn man mal genau hingeschaut. Wir verlangen echt nicht viel, aber für so viel Geld bekommt man definitiv viel mehr Service und Dienstleistung.

The villa had a lot of issues: towel bars falling, toilet paper holder falling, toilet clogged and plumbing was gurgling and loud. Safe was broken. Sheets were stained. Cushions ripped on the balcony.

Le personnel n'était vraiment pas sympathique voir carrémentdésagréable!!! Mise à part, à la réception et 1 barman. Il y a eu beaucoup de moment où nous ne nous sommes pas senti à l'aise et c'est très dommage au vue du prix et du standing de l'établissement. Le ménage n'est pas fait systématiquement tous les jours...

Totul!!! Recomand cu căldură. Vila mare, pat foarte confortabil, bucătărie dotată cu de toate. A fost totul peste așteptări.

Mâncarea la restaurant este destul de slabă și nu pe placul nostru. Dar pe insulă se găsesc multe opțiuni de restaurante bune.

Machine à laver cassée, on devait rappeler à l’hôtel que nos chambres n’étaient pas lavées/draps/linges changés, pas de brosse pour les WC, WC qui coulent, parasites dans le lit on s’est grattés jour et nuit

La posizione è buona, lo staff molto professionale, ma la struttura delle abitazioni in generale lasciano molto a desiderare.

La cosa che non mi è assolutamente piaciuta è che la camera che abbiamo preso con vista oceano non sono come quelle raffigurate su booking. Non avevamo la vista sulla baia (acqua turchese come si vede dalle foto) ma sul porticciolo sulla parte opposta dove l'oceano blu scuro si intravede da lontano. E l'arredamento è molto più vecchio di quello in foto.

Ubicado en un lugar soñado, muy cómodo y confortable, con todo lo necesario para pasarlo bien. Una cocina súper completa con todos los electrodomésticos. Baño muy grande con jacuzzi. Increíble lugar, todas las casas cerca de la playa y de la pileta. La pileta y la playa con reposeras y toallas muy cómodas. 10 puntos

Los restaurantes no tenían un menú acorde al lugar. Le faltaba una carta más completa y con mejores platos.

La posizione molto Bella, personale gentile e la pulizia della struttura ottima.

Il ristorante della colazione ha un menu molto scarso. La spiaggia e’ bellissima ma deve essere mantenuta pulita dalla Numerosa plastica che purtroppo arriva dal mare. Bisogna mantenere raccogliere plastica non solo nella spiaggia di pertinenza del resort.

A localizaçao de frente para o mar e as instalaçoes amplas e bem decoradas é sem dúvida o ponto alto deste hotel. Estivemos por 10 dias. Deixamos o hotel com uma sensaçao de agradecimento pela experiência mágica de estar em um lugar tão especial.

Dizem que Exuma, a ilha onde está localizado o hotel, é a mais bonita das Bahamas. O acesso é por avião pela Bahamas Airwais. E a Bahamas Airways é um caos.

The staff was VERY nice and friendly. There were very limited dining options, and the dinning was almost offensively over-priced. It wouldn't have been that bad except that there are really not many choices to go and eat. This is not a resort, but rather it is more like an air bnb community. I probably would not stay there again, and not that it was bad, but it just wasn't where I would want to revisit when going to Exuma. There was not much to do within the compound.

Exceptional in all ways....only let down was the condition of the offsite golf course and marina area near the property.

This is the secret jewel of our trip. I’ll never go back to Atlantis, but I will definitely be back to the Exumas. Grand Isle staff are friendly and attentive. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and it was perfect. IT perfectly compliments the beauty of the Great Exuma island.

As a regular quest to this property, i am pleased with the physical property and services in all areas.

amazing.......greatest place. Do not rent a house here.....just because if you are not used to this island, getting around, getting groceries, even gas is hard. After a flat tire because the roads are so bad and remember you are driving on the other side of the road, this is your one stop shop. And you don't have to deal with VRBO owners who think they are the "wisdom council" here on the island. And that they own the beaches and ocean. They don't. For the same price, you get clean towels, food, clean bathrooms, no bugs anywhere, big pool....rather than a tiny or no pool. You can swim at night. Lights in pool. So when you get out of the airport go left, not right. Trust me.

Absolutely would stay here again, rooms were excellent, staff was very attentive and friendly! Beach was great, and the water in Exuma is beautiful!

The Grand Isle has made our list of places to definitely return too. The staff, food, cocktails, spa, and beach were fantastic. It was nice to have the option of a golf cart to drive around the property which includes a marina. No place is perfect. A few draw backs we experienced were our bed needs to be updated and the power goes out almost daily. We ended up purchasing 2 battery powered fans which was helpful.

Dusty and not properly clean house. No internet most of the days. No beach service. Poor service in general. For sure not a luxury property.

Beyond our expectations, the property was well run well cared for and and one of the best properties we have ever stayed. The location could not have been more perfect, well appointed, and the services were dependable, professional, and the staff was exceptional. Everything was close by and it was a gated community so there was a sense of security that made it even more easy to relax and enjoy this beautiful island.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautiful and the workers make it an excellent choice. Both pools, restaurants and beaches are top tier. Highly recommend.

Excellent loacation

We absolutely loved this resort. Our 1 bedroom ocean view villa was spacious, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast out on the lanai. We ate at 2 of the 3 restaurants multiple times and they were excellent. The gym is top notch. It has alot of equipment and is very well maintained. We enjoyed motoring around the resort on our golf cart and hanging at the adults only pool. We’ve done a number of trips to the Caribbean and this is, by far, our new favorite!

The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The AC was excellent and parking was convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. The two pools were clean with plenty of chairs. The beach was beautiful and clean as well. The restaurant food was good...especially the pizza and burger. You may or may not get used to some flies visiting outdoor eaters. This happened at other outdoor restaurants on the island as well. Overall, we would return here to enjoy what Exuma has to offer.

Awesome and safe place

North 23 excellent food and service! Beach and adult pool beautiful setting and layout. Stayed at the 2 bdrm Villa and it is comfortable and well layout and neighborhood is well kept in landscaping and architecture. Beach setting is stunning and so are the properties privately owned overlooking the ocean so rent a golfcart and go explore.

Sadly, Palapa restaurant on the premises service is absolutely terrible as waiters seem to take your order without any rush and food can take more than an hour for appetizer to be served. Also food quality is quite average but overpriced and some items are too greasy to eat like frenchfries. Drinks on the bar are nice and frozen drinks are indeed the best to order. No beach food service is a major drawback and beach bar only opens until 5pm with sunsets at 8pm so drinks and snacks hopefully can be served in the future. North 23 restaurant only opens for dinner and woukd be great of they could extend drinks & light snacks in aduly pool area as their premises are equipped and at close distance to guests.

The check-in process is wonderful. Everyone is, especially the waitress at the 23 North (Hilton) restaurant. She's fabulous and professional. She made us feel good. The barbecue guys are also nice and very kind to us. And most importantly, the room was very clean 💯% and the girl was very nice. I love that place. My wife and I stayed 4 nights M-Th. The property is a large gated Villa community and our One Bedroom suite was very spacious. The property was extremely clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. The Palapa restaurant was the only dining option on Monday and Tuesday as the Jerk Hut and 23 North are only open starting Wednesday. We rented a golf cart for $30 per day to assist with getting around the community and was well worth it. We spent the majority of the days on the beach and chairs/umbrellas are set up daily along with clean towels. The service was nice at the restaurant yet a bit on the slower side which we did not mind. The closest convenience store is a 7 min drive and a larger grocery store is about 10-15 taxi drive. If you want food/items delivered to you; you can request the items 72 hours before arrival. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Convenient location for pools and restaurants. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Such a beautiful setting and hardly anyone there, literally had the place to ourselves - perfect.

We chose Grand Isle Resort for our first trip to Exuma, expecting the convenience of a hotel—onsite dining, a gym, and some flexibility—but it fell short. The villa was spacious, though the promised “ocean view” was just a distant sliver. The gym was small with outdated equipment, but usable. Palapa, the poolside restaurant, offered bland, repetitive menus; conch fritters were doughy, and the Bahamian snapper was mostly bones and oddly deep-fried. The mahi sandwich was the only standout. 23° North was a birthday dinner disappointment. The steak was unevenly cut and inconsistently cooked, the grouper was just okay, and despite noting the occasion, we had to ask for a candle. Service throughout the resort was strong—unfortunately, the food didn’t match. One major letdown was the resort’s rigid 11am checkout. Unlike most hotels, they refused any extension. Worse, “bag storage” meant leaving luggage in plain sight by the front desk—completely unsecured. For a resort, this felt surprisingly unaccommodating. Also worth noting: the atmosphere leaned heavily family-oriented, with kids everywhere—not ideal for couples seeking a quieter stay. Next time, we’ll choose one of the many oceanfront private villa rentals. At least expectations there are clearer—and often better met.

It is an amazing place; people here are incredible. I have been in several islands, and you can feel here very nice, everybody is very kind, polite, educated, it is a great place to come if you like beech holidays.

Very beautiful! The only thing lacking was the service at the Palapa restaurant. It was so slow I thought they may be getting the food off site? Most of the waitresses had no sense of urgency at all. Even with that restaurant being below par, we would still come back and just be prepared with more groceries. It was very relaxing.
