Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Bilderbuch-Strand: Die Lage an dem langen Strand ist ein absoluter Traum – wir hatten ihn Anfang September für uns alleine. Ein Highlight ist die Tierwelt mit Rochen und Schildkröten.
Tolle Bungalows: Die Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet. Die Bungalows (besonders die Villa mit Küche) sind sehr geräumig, sauber und bieten täglich frische Strandtücher - sind aber sehr einfach. Am Strand gibt es Liegen und Schirme.
Sehr herzliches Personal: Alle Mitarbeiter sind extrem freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, auch bei der Ausflugsplanung (unbedingt die 8 Stunden Tour bei Exuma Water Sports mitmachen, teuer aber das Geld wert).
Restaurant: Das Restaurant bietet eine sehr gute Küche. Wir waren die letzten Gäste dieser Saison – und die einzigen Gäste bei Frühstück und Abendessen, Reservierung war nicht notwendig! 😊
Sandfliegen: Es gibt leider sehr viele Sandfliegen am Strand – ein guter Schutz ist besonders abends empfehlenswert!
Wichtig zu wissen: Ein Mietwagen ist ein Muss auf der Insel (gibt es unkompliziert am Flughafen, allerdings teuer: Achtung Linksverkehr – ist aber stressfrei!).
The location of the bungalow was amazing, and I will definitely be back! The bungalow was super cute, although the décor is basic, so don’t expect luxury. The location and beach more than make up for it.
We rented a Jeep and explored the island and most other beaches, but every time we came back, the beach at the resort seemed to be the best one!
Jamica at the front desk was extremely nice and upgraded us to an oceanfront bungalow, which made our stay even more special.
The cleaning could be better, and the pillows and mattress were very firm for my preference. My biggest disappointment was the loud music from the restaurant at all times, which took away from the peacefulness of the location. The quiet, secluded feel is what makes this place truly special and the music somewhat took away from that.

Mare e spiaggia bellissimi, ristorante molto buono, cura dei dettagli, gestione europea quindi molto attenta e curata, personale gentilissimo! Camera doppia bellissima, con doppio bagno, molto curata per gli standard dell’isola, ambia, con terrazzino fuori. Un posto da sogno! Forse uno degli hotel più belli in cui sia mai stata! Per gli standard dell’isola eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Das Zimmer war insgesamt sehr sauber, die Anlage im Verhältnis zum Rest von Exuma ebenfalls. Insgesamt gehen die Menschen auf der Insel leider schlecht mit dem beseitigen von Müll um.
Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Zimmer-Upgrade, wodurch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis okayisch war. Andernfalls sind die Bahamas preislich sehr gehoben, was sich auch in den Kosten für Verpflegung widerspiegelt. Dagegen ist die Qualität im hoteleigenen Restaurant verhältnismäßig sehr gut. Die direkte Strandlage ist natürlich herausragend. Es gibt sogar ein Mini-Riff vor Ort, an dem wenige Fische sind. Da hier anscheinend auch "Queens-Muscheln" gezüchtet werden und Algenteppiche existieren, kommen häufig Schildkröten vorbei.
Das Personal war größtenteils auch sehr freundlich und aufgrund der Unzuverlässigkeit eines bestellten Taxis bei unserer Abreise, hat uns der Manager kurzerhand zum Flughafen gefahren. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!
Die Einrichtung war sehr altbaksch und das Geschirr teilweise nicht mehr verwendbar.
Für den Preis hätten wir uns mehr Modernität gewünscht.
Die Hoteleigenen Liegen am Strand haben teilweise kaputte Auflagen gehabt. Und die Sonnenschirme haben leider nicht genug Schatten gespendet. Die dürften etwas größer sein.
Auch der teils herumliegende Müll war störend. Gleichzeitig scheint dies ein gängiges Verhalten auf den Bahamas zu sein.

Le bungalow très spacieux et très bon lit.
La cuisine du restaurant.
Le restaurant qui fait office de salle de jeux ou de garde de valises.
Le non respect des réservations le soir où l'on a dû attendre 1h. Inadmissible avec une réservation. Il faudrait voir à respecter les réservations et accueillir en priorité les personnes logeant dans l'hôtel surtout en demi pension.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026En general es un sitio maravilloso. La habitación siempre limpia, es cómoda y con salida a la playa en dos pasos, la cual es idílica. Con suerte puedes ver animales como en nuestro caso.
Tiene un restaurante dónde se come muy bien, probamos varios platos en diferentes días y todo nos gustó muchísimo. Hay que reservar porque viene gente de fuera también. Tiene opción de buffet en desayuno o platos a la carta.
Quiero destacar la atención recibida por la chica (no recuerdo su nombre) que siempre estaba en la oficina, nos ayudó en todo momento, incluso nos dejó hacer una llamada telefónica a la compañía aérea para confirmar un cambio de vuelo. Habló ella por nosotros ya que no manejamos bien el idioma… sin ninguna duda estamos agradecidos por el trato, es una persona increíble.

Ein paar Dinge wie zum Beispiel die Dusche sind in die Jahre gekommen.
Es könnte zumindest mal täglich frisches Wasser auf dem Zimmer stehen.
La plage forcément ! La proximité et le calme sur la plage. La taille réduite du complexe. Un contact français pour répondre à nos besoins. La proximité du restaurant. Les rangements dans la chambre
L'absence de boisson dans la chambre à l'arrivée.

Reviewed May 8, 2026J étais venu à Paradise Bay avec ma petite fille en 2023 et c était formidable, je viens d y passer quelques jours en Mai 2024, c est toujours aussi exceptionnel, accès direct sur l une des 2 plus belles plages de l ile
De plus le restaurant de l hôtel , le COCO PLUM propose un petit déjeuner varié avec un buffet très complet à un prix je pense le meilleur de l île Ce meme restaurant COCOPLUM tenu de main de maître par un Français Jehan propose des plats variés et délicieux
J ai essayé plusieurs restaurants de l île et c est COCOPLUM qui propose le meilleurs choix excellents

Estremamente godibile, ben tenuta e molto comoda. Ho provato sia il bungalow con due camere (perfetto per una famiglia), sia quello fronte spiaggia (grande, comodo e suggestivo per la posizione).
Baretto che consente aperitivi e bevande durante la giornata.
Gli ombrelloni per il numero di camere, ben distanziati e con sdraio comode in legno, permettono di godere della spiaggia (per noi a inizio e fine giornata, perché abbiamo girato tutti i giorni) come se fossi su una spiaggia libera quasi tutta per te, ma con la comodità dell'ombra e dei lettini.
Ambiente rilassato e colori caraibici.
Personale gentile e disponibile.
Devi necessariamente avere un auto, anche se c'è un ristorante in loco, dove si mangia bene. Per visitare l'isola, d'altra parte, l'auto ci vuole assolutamente.
Il costo, per le Bahamas, è super competitivo, nonostante la struttura sia super carina e, per il gusto europeo, forse una delle migliori.

Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Die Lage am Strand ist ausgezeichnet. Einer der schönsten Strände der Insel. Jeder Bungalow hat einen fixen Schirm und 2 Liegen am Strand. Man ist praktisch fast alleine an dem 5km langen Beach. Manchmal kommen Haie, Rochen und/oder Turtles vorbei. Wir hatten die Villa mit Küche, konnten somit das Frühstück selber erledigen. Das Frühstück im Cocoplum ist für 14$ (+15% Servicegebühr, +10% VAT) extrem mager ausgestattet und Teuer und für einen Europäer so rein gar nichts. Eier, Pfannkuchen, Toast, Marmelade. Kein Obst/Gemüse. Keine Wurst, kein Käse.... Kaffee kostet teilweise extra, je nachdem welches Frühstückspaket man wählt. Sonst wäre das aus meiner Sicht, das was es zu bemängeln gibt. Ach ja. Der Wasserdruck zum Duschen ist seh schwach und das Wlan zum heulen. Ich hatte eine ESIM mit unbegrenzten Datenvolumen für 14 Tage. Kann ich nur empfehlen. (Yesim) Funzt tadellos LTE+, 85€) Sonst sehr Freundlich und Hilfsbereit bei Ausflügen etc. Wir kommen irgendwann sicher einmal wieder. PS. Die Insel ist wunderschön. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto! Gegenüber vom Flughafen einfach zu mieten. Achtung Linksverkehr.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026This hotel was absolutely charming. Everything felt easy and relaxed, and everyone was incredibly helpful and chill from the moment I arrived. I loved my room, the beach, the food… honestly, everything.
A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch.
I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026A little piece of paradise! We loved this place. It's not fancy - don't expect five-star amenities; however, it is simply perfect. Our cottage sat right on the beach and we felt we had the entire place to ourselves. The beach is simply stunning and there's loungers and huts on the beach for the residents. Wifi worked great while we were there. Even though there's no cable, we were able to stream from some apps. Beach bar was closed because of slow season, so I can't speak to it, but it's in a very convenient location. Staff were SO nice!! We can't wait to return to this amazing gem of a place!

I bungalow sono molto particolari, posizionati in una spiaggia bellissima di Exuma. La struttura è essenziale, ma abbastanza curata, in linea con il loro prezzo (più basso rispetto agli standard dell’isola). L’hotel mette a disposizione degli ospiti teli mare (non serve, quindi, che portiate i vostri), sdraio ed ombrelloni (gratuitamente). Sono inoltre presenti un phon, shampoo e bagnoschiuma. Il bungalow è climatizzato, anche se il climatizzatore è un po’ datato.
Probabilmente una pecca è la posizione, la struttura si trova leggermente isolata rispetto ai servizi essenziali, che si trovano principalmente a George Town. Il climatizzatore presentava un po’ di muffa all’interno.

Généralement déçus de la villa 4 personnes. Tous les équipements décrits, notamment dans la cuisine ne sont pas du tout conforme au descriptif du logement. Le four micro-ondes n'a pas été nettoyé depuis un moment. L'accueil est très minimum (je ne parle pas du personnel), il n'y a même pas une bouteille d'eau à l'arrivée, sachant qu'en plus l'eau du robinet n'est pas conseillée. Pareil pour la cafetière, il pourrait y avoir un petit set de café. Au prix du logement, je pense que les commentaires cités juste avant ne sont pas de trop.
Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2025Un piccolo hotel direttamente su una spiaggia magnifica, con doccia e ombrelloni per gli ospiti. Mare fantastico, abbiamo visto tartaruga marina e stingray. C’è un piccolo bistro dove si mangia molto bene colazione pranzo e cena e cocktail. Le camere sono molto carine, pulite con cambio asciugamani tutti i giorni. I ragazzi che dirigono l’hotel sono molto disponibili e molto professionali, stessa cosa le ragazze del bistro. Paradise bay è un posto dal quale non vorresti più andare via!

What’s not to like? Your on vacay in a stunning location at a great place. No complaints.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2025The breakfast was quite underwhelming, and the lunch/dinner options were a bit limited and got tired after eating there several days. We did love location, with being SO close to the water and with the individual casitas, it was very quiet. The intimate feel of the accommodations allowed for a peaceful vacation. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded.
Food options on the island are limited. We opted to eat at the nearby Grand Isle Resort (Palapa) to help provide some variety outside of the on-site restaurant (Co-Co Plum). It would be better to rotate the menu as we tired of the options. Also, the beds are very hard, so would have appreciated a more comfy bed. However, we are picky travelers and we definitely felt like we got a great value for what we paid. Would recommend to others.

Reviewed Feb 5, 2025Everything. Breathtaking beach and view. Charming cottage. Wonderful staff. Regina went above and beyond. Adjacent restaurant is excellent and Eva’s across the street is an experience with good food as well. The beach is quiet and there is a palapa and loungers for each cabin. This is the place to relax and chill. This is an excellently managed property. We left having made good friends.
On Exuma if you don’t have a car taxis are expensive . Excursions are also expensive. Sand flies are abundant in Bahamas so come prepared if you are susceptible. These concerns are not specific to this property.

Odd room configuration with no sink where the toilet is. You have to walk around the bed to the opposite side of the bungalow where the shower is to wash hands. You are not in walking distance of anything on the island.

Cocoplum Bistro which is on the property is fabulous! Give Rudi and Tonya a hello from Vickie and Stoney!! Loved them. On your taxi ride in, get them to stop at a local store to grab snacks and such, it will save you a trip… because you really don’t want to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The manager was absolutely fantastic—always smiling, attentive, and ready to help us at any time. It’s rare to meet someone so professional and welcoming!
The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. And the best part: the beach is just steps away, making the location ideal for a great vacation.
We’ll definitely be back!

I wish the restaurants in the Bahamas could stay open a little later than nine o’clock. After nine pretty much everything is closed. But that’s everywhere around here.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2024Individually built beautiful, roomy huts, colorfully painted! The beach infront of the property is beautiful and has small area coral reefs. The property provides snokling masks that one can see beautiful tropic fish! One can see sunset and sunrise in addition to stars! The people there are so nice and helpful! It's close to airport and the port for boats. The restaurant on site is exellent! We loved the food there and the service!

There was not really anything that we did not like about our stay at Paradise Bay Resort. I do wish the pool was in better shape but with the beach so close it was not an issue.
It was a very beautiful stay that exceeded our expectations! Beautiful property, plenty of space, clean, not overcrowded, friendly staff. It was very easy to check in and out , all the taxi requests were handled by the main office , and the tour follow ups( when ours was running a bit late ). I definately would recommend to stay at Paradise Bay !

The only thing was that it would have been nice to have a drinkable water tap accessible. We asked if there was any kind of water jug or something like that and were told no. We purchased and used a ton of water bottles which is bad for the environment and wasteful.
the ocean view was amazing
We paid 65$ for a cab to take us 1 mile to get some food and drinks at the only store around.
The only local restaurant Was closed during business hours.
This is a one star hotel.
We were stuck having to eat at the on site restaurant.
It is over priced and the food is NOT good unless you like powdered eggs.
The surrounding area is the worst country I have ever ben to.

And had great air conditioning. Staff was attentive and pleasant, and you had a really great restaurant right on the property.
The beds were very hard. There are no adult chairs or couches in the room, It has a coffee Maker, but no coffee and no filters. You have to buy everything. The swimming pool could use some work, And a Microwave in the room would have been a plus.
The location was perfect. The proximity to the water in unrivaled. Very nice place to just relax.
Only having 1 restaurant is a negative. It is quite busy and hard to get a reservation for dinner.

The cottages are so cute, your feet are literally in the sand. Above and beyond clean.
Sweet little Palapas on a private, gorgeous beach. Awesome beach bar on property and another right down the beach.
Have been going here many years and will definitely continue. It’s a true Bahamian experience
If there is anything you don’t like, you need to probably find somewhere else to stay! The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The beach is perfect. The entire place is beautiful
