Me and my daughter stayed at Paradox on the March of 2026. The room at the main building was very comfortable and good-renovated. The hotel staff was nice and solved issues quickly, very grateful to Luk Wha, reacted quickly at some of the moments with number. The breakfasts were delicious. Definitely will come back at the Paradox!!! Btw the location is superb, everything is the around the resort. The resort itself locates at the center of Karon, but you wont hear any noise from the beach etc

We love the hotel as it near to Karon beach and would like to pass the compliment to reception who always assisted us about the room and luggage and also the reception here can speak Chinese with Chinese guests especially with Luk Wha who escorted us and recommended us to the local places and also Koi and Honey helped about the room and welcome us since the arrival

Our stay at Paradox Karon was absolutely fantastic and truly exceeded our expectations from start to finish. We would especially like to give a huge thank you to Luk Wha – her kindness, warm smile, and genuine willingness to help made our experience even more special. She is a true asset to the hotel and a big part of what makes this place so memorable. The hotel itself is perfectly located, just a short walk from the beautiful beach, which was a huge plus for us. The breakfasts were amazing – a great variety of fresh, high-quality options that made every morning a pleasure. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. You can really feel that they care about their guests. Overall: an amazing stay, amazing place, amazing people. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay This is our second time here and will definitely come back again in 2027. I am at the coconut pool and Sid is the life Gard here. He is such a great person and very helpful and very polite. It’s great to see such inspiring young people.

The Paradox had a great location near the lively town, and it had a nice beachfront. The place is huge, so it was nice to have hotel employees drive us down to the beach in golf carts. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. I wish the rooms had more of a Thai design (like the lobby) rather than looking like an “anyplace” hotel room. It was average but functional.

Amazing experience all throughout! All facilities were available and well maintained! The staff was amazing as well, with special thanks to Executive Chef who taught us to do the Thai cooking class The reception was also very helpful with thanks to Luk Wha !

Location was amazing, in close proximity to restaurants and massages. Atmosphere was calm and pretty quiet overall. Room was basic but had everything you need, value was slightly costly as the rooms are not sound proof and we were woken up daily by our neighbors, it is what it is. Breakfast was excellent daily. And the hotel was very clean.

Very nice stay. All of the staff were so friendly. They all made us feel exceptionally welcomed. The breakfast staff was great, shout out to Peth, so nice and helpful. Our room was big and always clean. Great stay.

Overall a beautiful hotel, loved the areas, the breakfast area, the pool area (we only went to the main one), the “waterfall” with the pond, the many gardens…everything was really beautiful, even the reception! The staff we encountered when walking through the hotel was also very nice and the staff at breakfast was also really helpful. We also went to some of the “restaurants” owned by the hotel. We really liked Mint Restaurant, the service there was great, the lady that served our table was really polite and friendly. We also went to Cafe Studio, where the staff was also really polite. In both places the food was also good! Now…the not so good part of the review. The reception staff is the face of the hotel, so we think they should be 100% inside the hotel policies and be fluent in english more than everyone else. In multiple times we sensed problems caused by miscommunication, amongst the staff themselves and between the staff and ourselves (the guests). We think all of these problems could be avoided or at least weakened if the all the staff had the same knowledge about hotel policies, but we do get that’s impossible, there will always be someone who’s new and still training. Eventhough we understand that, it can be frustrating as a guest having to come back and forward to the reception cause one person said one thing and then the next said another. Another motive why this might happen is the lack of fluency in english, not all staff could speak well in english…to be honest (and about the ones we spoke)…half of them couldn’t understand more than the basics of the basics and the other half was ok, but if we needed to speak about something more detailed they’d eventually lose themselves in the conversation and start saying fixed phrases in english. Also and as someone fluent in english those phrases sound passive-aggressive and condescending to be honest, it’s important to mention we DO NOT think that was the purpose of saying those phrases, we really do think it was just lack of fluency. As a guest it’s frustrating to want to enjoy and relax and being stuck in the reception trying to solve a “problem” that could have been fixed in 5 minutes if everyone was on the same page (policies and languages wise). In vacation we all just want to relax and enjoy, and that happened! But if the communication would have been better so would our stay, so our best feedback is to improve the guidance given to the reception staff, making sure everyone is given the same instructions and is REALLY well guided. Also…making sure everyone is fluent in the languages you receive most at the hotel…this is a 5 star! A resort! We really do think that’s a must, but that’s something for the hotel to decide…this is just our opinion :)

Beautiful property steps from Karon beach. I stayed in the Superior King room and it was well maintained and updated, however the room seemed a little bare. The main pool is gorgeous and while I came during a holiday it didn’t seem too crowded. The breakfast was really good and received attentive service from all staff. There were areas of the resort that looked like it could use some updating: like fountains, WiFi in some areas, light switches in the rooms, but overall the resort itself was very impressive. I was disappointed as only certain guests could use certain pools, I didn’t see that in my research before booking. I would recommend the resort overall and stay again if I were visiting Phuket.

We stayed in two rooms for five nights and unfortunately our experience was far below acceptable standards. Throughout our stay we experienced multiple service failures: coffee spilled on one of us at breakfast with no proper follow-up, excessively slow service, rooms not cleaned on certain days despite requests, and an unprofessional response to a simple late checkout request. Being told that your standards are higher than Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and that we should “go there” was inappropriate and unacceptable. The final incident at checkout was the most frustrating. We were asked to provide a receipt for a pool day pass that had already been paid and verified three days earlier. Access had been granted at the time by security after checking the receipt. Asking again at checkout caused unnecessary stress and embarrassment to my father. This reflects poor internal communication and a serious lack of hospitality. As hoteliers with over 20 years of experience, we understand standards. This experience was not aligned with them.

The resort itself is lovely and set in lush, well kept ground and a great location on Karon Beach. Staff around the pools and in the restaurants were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience with guest relations and maintenance let the stay down. Issues with our room reported on arrival took days to be addressed despite repeated follow ups, and communication felt generic and lacking urgency. The rooms also feel a little tired for what is advertised as a five star resort. We were also surprised to see birds freely landing on food at the breakfast buffet, even after raising this as a hygiene concern. Beware that only two 500ml bottles of drinking water are initially provided per day in the room, with no complimentary water available by the pools. The website also advertised a filtered water tap in the room, which was not present. While we eventually managed to have additional water supplied, this only happened after a lot of stressful messages and back and forth with staff, which is not what you would expect at a five star resort. Overall, a beautiful property that sadly doesn’t match the five star service it promotes.

We stayed for 3 nights before we unfortunately had to fly home at the end of a fantastic trip. Firstly the service and professionalism of every single member of staff was exceptional. The hotel is very well maintained in all area's. We had what I think was called a "premium cottage" which was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Bed and pillows very comfy. AC was quite quiet as quiet as it can be . Breakfast had everything you could want and more, the jam and sweet corn Danish pastry was a bit strange but it actually worked. Lunch at the pool was tasty and served quickly. Cocktails at the pool bar were very good, only one person making them so he was very busy. We went to the lobby bar one evening, I asked for a cocktail that wasn't on the menu, 5 mins later I had the delicious cocktail I asked for. I can not find any faults with this hotel, it was a pleasure to stay, wish our stay had been longer.

Fantastic relaxing stay at Paradox. Great food options throughout the day and top customer service in every department. I’d recommend booking a Muay Thai session if you can, Kim the trainer was a great guy and very friendly! A credit to the hotel!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Paradox resort. The amenities were nice, but the best part was the staff! Everyday they took great care of me and made sure I wanted for nothing! They remembered the small things, like where I like to sit during breakfast, what I ate, and most importantly my name! My only recommendation is to upgrade the insulation of the rooms, renovate the outlets and have better humidity control. Other than that, this place is awesome and I definitely will be coming back! I highly recommend!!

Lovely spacious twin room with a balcony to watch to see the sunrise and sunset Karon Beach was a great choice away from Patong with 3 teen boys! Definitely one of the best resorts to stay off main the strip, with a good size main pool, friendly staff, but it lacked an atmosphere, especially for Xmas and this is my reason for the 3 star. The food was not great, definitely not worth the costs, but Breakfast provided a broad range to suit all tastes.

We had a fantastic experience at the Paradox Resort. From the staff to location to amenities - everything was top notch. Our villa with a plunge pool was very comfortable and spacious. The spa offered great massages. Breakfast and a la carte restaurants were delicious. We will definitely come back.

Everything was amazing. Highly recommend it. Great value for the money. The staff was great and very helpful, the location was bear the beach and the breakfast had a lot of options.

We stayed in the premium garden villa and it was great. The value for money was perfect. We enjoyed the mint bar and restaurant which is on the beach side of the resort. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff kept the room clean and tidy. The resort is located in a very quiet part of phuket so it's very quiet. Great for families. The only thing I would've wanted was for the plunge pool in our villa to have an option to heat it. It was very cold and unusable (at least for us)

We are on an 8 weeks SE Asia trip and stayed in multiple 5 star hotels from Singapore to Bangkok and other parts of Thailand including private Islands If you get to Karon book the Parafox and Get the penthouse suite Villa spans over 2 floors with a rooftop plunge pool so worth the extra money we loved it we booked initially for 4 nights and extended to 8 and are still here as the location is great you are steps from the beach markets and temples everything is in walking distance and in your own area it’s super quite definitely get one of the premium Rooms as the main building has renovations going on, we got showed a standard room in the man building and it’s just like every other chain hotel in that range nice and clean but not really a wow -and for 90$ difference it’s not worth staying in a regular room compared to their premium villas and rooms/ suites. Treat yourself you will not regret it. All the staff - besides the initial lady at the receiption (didn’t catch her name ) which said “ well it’s a bit pricey” with an attitude as we walked in sweaty from the beach she probably thought we are cheap and can’t afford it as we didn’t like the hotel we stayed at - all the others are great and awesome very welcoming trying to please every wish you have. When we come back next year we will definitely book again and stay here again.

Very spacious, consists of a huge modern hotel and a large amount of surrounding traditional villas. 3 pools but 1 wasn't open, but it was the inferior one. We stayed in a penthouse villa, with its own small pool under a hut on the upper story, so if you can afford it l highly recommend. Resort is on the beach in a nice central area, very safe and close to food and shop. Karon beach is where you stay if you want to avoid the craziness of Patong and Kata.

Staff are lovely and can't do enough for you Pool bar, inside bar and Mint bar are all lovely Mint bar is reasonable and the Pizzas are great. 100% worth trying We are still here, weather hasn't been on our side, however locality of this hotel is fantastic, everything nearby to keep you occupied Thanks again

My partner and I stayed in the suite with the plunge pool for nine nights. We used to the airport car service to and from the airport for the very reasonable price of 1200 THB. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were mature and well cared for. All the employees were very friendly and genuinely happy. We frequented all of the restaurants on site and found the food to be delicious and consistent in each one. Mint is particularly lovely because it's on the beach and the pizza was surprisingly good since they have a pizza oven which was unexpected. The drinks were well made. I cannot say enough good things about the vast array and quality of the breakfast pastries in Cafe Studio, we ended up choosing that over the breakfast buffet most mornings. Though the breakfast buffet was hard to resist. We would absolutely go back.

This place is beautiful. All staff is kind and will greet you every time you pass by. The ladies at the spa are kind as well. I had a relaxing massage there. Highly recommend the Garden Villa. It can be 2 double beds or 1 king bed. The tour guide company at reception is good too. Took their trip to the Similan Island. A loooong day, but worth it. The price is comparable to other offers too.

This resort was so magical. We had a villa with a plunge pool and the aircon was amazing, the service, the food, the pool and drinks. Onsite spa was incredible and the location was so close to everything we needed. I am going back soon!

Very comfortable place where calm and quiet are the key words. Wonderful breakfast: rich, international and it is amazing that eggs are cooked live as for the pancakes, waffles and pad Thai. Personnel is very welcoming and helpful for everything. Cleaning is top.

Having the best time. Jude has provided exceptional service with a smile on his face and makes a mean cocktail. Deserves a pay rise!!

Beautiful resort. Large apartment with lots of space and gorgeous ocean view. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Short walk to local shops and restaurants. Pools were beautiful and we loved the swim-up bar.

This is my first time ever reviewing a hotel I’ve stayed and let me tell you.. this resort is GORGEOUS! The scenery is beautiful there’s actually things to do at the resort! and not to mention my room was a 5 min walk to the beach! I went for my birthday and I’m soo glad i chose this resort! My room was spacious. I enjoyed a large bathtub as well as pool to relax! The staff are incredible super friendly and greeted and helped me immediately upon arrival. I can’t wait to return to Thailand and when i do this will forever be the resort i stay at! Don’t hesitate to book!

Property is quite good with vast area and nice rooms. However, it was very difficult to find anything in buffet for vegetarians. Additionally, there were some instances where even basic english was not understood by the staff. Hospitality was very good. I can recommend it but these things need to improve.

Hotel is conveniently located next to beautiful beach & local Thai food restaurants, easy to get transport to other tourist spots.

Excellent spot, the thing that set it apart for me was the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast team was always friendly and very punctual. But the bar staff quickly became good friends, Alex and Saow were always up for a chat and took very good care of us, great service and people to look out for in your visit

The whole property was very well kept. Acres of gardens were well maintained. All the staff were very busy all the time keeping the grounds neat and tidy. The breakfast staff were excellent remembering your coffee and tea orders every morning. They were always polite and helpful as were all the staff at the Resort. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to family and friends.

Terrible experience – do not recommend My stay at Paradox in Phuket was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty, the beds were uncomfortable and clearly not properly cleaned, and the overall condition of the facilities was old and poorly maintained. Everything felt worn down and unkept. The hotel is definitely not what it looks like in the photos. The only positive thing I can mention is the hotel staff — they were friendly and tried their best to help. But sadly, that’s not enough to make up for how dirty, outdated, and uncomfortable everything else was. Would not recommend staying here. It’s far from a proper resort experience.

2 bedroom Garden apartment: Our apartment was on the Ground floor, room 706. What we like about it: 1. WELL EQUIPPED. Big and spacious, with a master bedroom and ensuite toilet, and a 2nd bedroom with 2 super single beds, toilet just outside the bedroom door. - There’s also a decent sized kitchenette that is well equipped with everything you’ll need if you wanna cook. And Nespresso coffee and tea of course. 2. EASY ACCESS TO BEACH. While the apartment is a distance to the rest of the resort- it’s the other end of the main lobby, and also away from the main pool - it has very easy access to the beach. There is a short road that separates the resort from the beach. So it was also good that our apartment is not “beach-front” (yet easily accessible) as that could mean taking in the noise and dust from the road. - Directly outside the gate, left side leads to several shops, including “Karon Plaza”, with shops selling souvenirs and Thai food. 7-11 is a further short walk away and we frequent this for various stuff to use in the apartment. - right side are more shops, restaurants and bars- and it is a loop around to the temporal lobby of the resort (main lobby under renovation). 3. OWN POOL - The apartment has access to our own “infinity” pool - right at our doorstep. As we were on the ground floor, we just had to pull open the living room glass door, step out to a verandah, and step down to the pool! It’s not a huge pool but a section of it is good enough to do laps, and another section of “jacuzzi”. The “infinity” part comes from one side of the pool looking out to the beach. In short - there’s nothing not to like about this resort and I would highly recommend- especially for families. Thank you Paradox for a wonderful time in Phuket!

The rooms were spacious, cool and clean. We had great accessibility to the beach, swimming pools and dining. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. Staff were polite and helpful. I did feel the pools closed too early.

Amazing!

Tired facilities in need of restoration investment. Drive up area to lobby has a collapsed roof - no longer in use but no repair work in sight. Beach side villas very nice and ours was well maintained. Staff are very nice and helpful but not enough are trained for 5 star service - e.g poolside staff don’t bother walking around to take orders, despite that being their job, you have to go to the bar to order. Good location and Karon is pretty family friendly. One of our group got food poisoning from eating at the hotel restaurant, Mint. Need to be vigilant in Thailand in general re food hygiene.

Great location with stunning Ocean views

This resort was absolutely amazing, second to none! The staff were extremely friendly, the prices were fair and the rooms were extremely clean and spacious.

Both myself and Dad had stayed at this hotel. It is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Its exactly what you see in the pictures pure paradise. We had booked the twin sea view and what a view it is. The grounds of the hotel is stunning and very well kept. The staff is what makes the stay so special they are so friendly and very helpful. We both are from Belfast Northern Ireland uk and we definitely be back.

It was a great location to enjoy the beach and local scene. But also quiet with a great pool and restaurants.

Great location

All the staff were amazing. Peth, in particular was amazing. I fell ill during my stay and he made sure I was looked after, he even checked in on me a few days after falling ill. This is our third time staying here (twice before under different hotel name) and the experience has been great. The resort itself is so tranquil, you are in another world, away from the hustle and bustle of what Phuket brings.

The hotel is really fantastic, rooms are excellent (stayed in the private villa), location just by the beach, quiet and the staff is really lovely. The breakfast is great, if you’re thinking of having it then book it at check in which is a little cheaper; but still is great value.

Massive hotel with all the amenities. Very clean and staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel has beautiful grounds, very well kept with great pool areas.

The property was well appointed and maintained; steps away from the beach. The infinity pool was outstanding and room service was fast and efficient. The hotel has made many upgrades and is continually renovating and improving. Right in the heart of Karon Beach, this hotel is a hidden gem.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and customer service is excellent. My 20 year old daughter and I stayed in early June during the “low-season”, so there weren’t too many guests. This helped keep the atmosphere quiet and enjoyable. When we did go out to town or on a tour, it was easy to order a Grab. Upon our return, the room was clean, towels were replaced, and the beds were perfectly made. We felt safe during our stay and would definitely stay here again!

I had the most amazing time, the staff was super friendly. One person in particular stood out. Jude the bartender was incredible (flair, talent, and friendliness). I’m convinced to come back. Don’t forget to try the Swim up bar at the pool and grab a watermelon smoothie!

Beautiful resort, very relaxing and peaceful. I stay in the garden villa for 7 nights and I must say it was nothing but amazing. The room was very clean and specious. I love the plunge pool. The resort is in a great location, surrounded by many restaurants and shopping. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many food options. The staff was very welcoming and went beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The spa service was wonderful. I definitely would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Paradox Resort Phuket in late March and had an absolutely fantastic experience. We chose the Penthouse Room/Suite, and it exceeded all our expectations. The highlight was definitely the private plunge pool on the rooftop – such a peaceful, luxurious spot to relax with a view. We spent every evening there watching the sunset and listening to the sounds of nature. The suite itself was spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we loved the modern design and thoughtful details throughout the room. Everything felt very private and serene, which made our stay feel like a real escape from the world. The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and easy access to Karon Beach just across the street. The staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and welcoming – from check-in to room service. We also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the resort, which made it feel like a true hideaway. We’ve traveled to Thailand multiple times, but this was one of our most memorable hotel experiences. We’re already looking forward to coming back to Paradox Resort on our next trip to Phuket – and we’ll definitely be booking the Penthouse Suite again!

Great location

We enjoyed just about everything about the property. We stayed in one of the villas and had the time of our life in Thailand. The staff was incredible! The food options at the resort were a bit limited, but that didn't matter much because you have so many other options just outside your resort on this beach strip.

As beautiful as this hotel is, it's really sad that there's no quality food or drinks or bars or restaurants or room service available. although there is the food in and drinks and coffee all with in walking distance. It's sad that I can get better food at the 7-Eleven than I can at this hotel. Otherwise it would be perfect. The pool is beautiful and large. The grounds are breathtaking. The staff was so polite and attentive.

If you want to be close to the beach this is a wonderful hotel. We loved our stay and selected it because it’s close to Karon Beach. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We walked to the beach and you can rent chairs at a reasonable price. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as laundry service. The pool is quite large and ther is a pool bar also. One day we took a taxi to Kata Noi beach to do a bit of snorkelling. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and highly recommend it. Karon beach is beautiful and not noisy.

The staff at the Paradox went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel for families.

Bel hôtel mais vieillissant ! Le jardin et les 3 piscines sont superbes !! Tout est très bien entretenu il n’y a rien à redire … mais les chambres avec petite piscine ( très petite , taille jacuzzi ) auraient besoin d’un coup de jeune et de moderne au niveau déco ! En Suisse on ne parlerait pas d’un 5 étoiles … sinon les fumeurs ne peuvent fumer que dans certaines zones … incompréhensible car c’est en plein air et à deux mètres près tu fumes ou pas !!!!

Great location, close to local shops and Karon beach is accessible from the back of the resort. Its more quiet than Patong. The staff were incredibly helpful with directions. Spa service was quite relaxing as well. There are plenty of dining options and small markets close by and laudromats if you're planning a longer stay.

The property is top notch and 5 star for Phuket. Karon beach was beautiful and had access to a plethora of food and activities. Tour desk provided any activity you could want. The WiFi was fast and trouble free and the breakfast had more options than you could wish for.

We stayed in the penthouse villa and it was one of the best experiences! We were looked after from start to finish, all the staff were so helpful. The room was spacious, well equipped, very comfortable beds. Having your own little plunge pool gives you extra privacy from the main pools. The breakfasts were divine, with a vast range of delicious foods. Cannot fault our stay, and will definitely come back! Thank you team

All in all a very good resort, though big, has a very nice pool area with plenty of shade. Some staff go over and above to make you feel welcome. A special mention to Sao and Bee who kept us well supplied with “ water “ ( beer ) a running joke. Would have no qualms recommending this resort to friends and family.

Very nice and peaceful property

I will say we had a lovely stay, but would agree with other reviews that I wouldn’t call it 5 star. We didn’t have hot water when we arrived but it was quickly rectified once reported. We also had a decent leak come through the ceiling after a heavy rain which was also quickly rectified. Check-in was fantastic, the resort is lovely and the staff are very kind.

Stayed here for a week leading up to Song Kran in a Garden Villa. We loved this hotel, our villa was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good with a lot choice, the staff were all professional and very polite. We used the Mint restaurant and the Cafe Studio coffee shop - both really good. The hotel is in a good location between the beach and the Main Street. We’d love to come back here and would recommend it.

Other than the key cards constantly not working it was wonderful!

An average hotel set opposite the very crowded Karon beach. Our room was good. A lagoon view room with its own plunge pool it was very comfortable and away from the noise. Breakfast here was excellent, I couldn’t fault it. Freshly made juices, fruits, eggs cooked to your liking, Asian style buffet, you name it they had it. Three swimming pools but all very crowded, mainly a Russian clientele. Oddly people dress up and get their photos taken by professional photographers in the gardens. Reception is currently being revamped so is in a temporary position and is a little small. Overall an ok stay but hotel is very large with too many people.

An amazing and relaxing time at Paradox. Clean, tidy and neat rooms with one of the most comfy beds I’ve ever slept in. Great views of the pool and sea from the room and massive balcony. Grounds are huge and well cared for, the pool area, restaurants and cafe are all well staffed, very clean and the food and cocktails are amazing. Happy hour by the pool each day is always popular. Studio cafe had just reopened during my stay and opted for their healthy breakfast which was great. It’s a few minutes walk to the beach, multiple markets and great restaurants. Many 7/11’s in the area for anything that you might need. Otherwise the resort menu, room service options have such a great variety. It was a most relaxing and memorable stay.

Great hotel, room and facilities. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We loved the beachside residence with the view of the beach / sunset from the balcony and access to the infinity pool. The location was great with the beach, shops and restaurants all in walking distance. The only downside was the noise from the road as its extremely busy all hours of the day.

Loved the resort, town was very busy though.

Lovely property in a very good area with access to everything. For beach access you have to walk off property and cross the road.

This was a great hotel , it’s under construction but didn’t affect us much during our stay. The location is great for walking to the beach and to town. We rented scooters across the street for like $9 US dollars a day and had the best time! The pool was refreshing with the swim up bar. We had a basic king room but it was close to the lobby and the pool and was very spacious. The hotel was full so we couldn’t upgrade but tbh this room was perfect for us. We definitely would stay again. Oh try the pumpkin with Thai custard dessert it’s delicious

We book three nights at Paradox "Family Two-Bedroom Beachfront Residence" usiing Agoda.com looking forward a beautiful villa by the beach as the picture (even on trip advisor) seems to suggest. However, this picture is completely misrepresented as what you enter is on 1st floor (not ground as this picture suggests) apartment next to a very busy & Noisy road at least till 11pm. Also, pool is not even visible from the beachfront room. it's on the other side and a small one. Moreover its the Music from the Paradox own bar/restrurant makes sure that you cant sleep till 11pm. Furnishing quality is of an apartment and not the 5star hotel room. The saving grace was that after first night hotel manager kindly changed our room to a lower category garden villa, which was way better, peaceful and inside the main hotel. food and service at hotel is otherwise, and thankfully they have an Indian chef who made excellent veg food. Despite a sleepless first night, hotel refused to refund any amount for first night and Nor agoda (despite its written promise) didnt pay anything. we did get refund for the lower category room for two nights. Management should NOT misrepresent this airbnb service apartment as the higest rated and priced room in their property and it should be sold much cheaper to their excellent hotel rooms. Also, they should have refunded part of the first night. They also dont trust their guests if the bill on spa and food goes over deposit as we got a letter on second night to pay deposit given we had utlised our THB 1000 credit well over the limit. Overall, ok, but I would probably not stay here again.

Honeymooners We are staying for 4 nights, already our agent covered our stay. Upon check in the front office asked for a credit card as an insurance of 4k THB and not to be deducted. Unfortunately it was deducted immediately and they need 14 days to refund. Of course my credit card is in USD so i will cover the charges of exchange as well. The room was dirty, the ground, the jacuzzi pool and even the bed sheets and pillows wasnt changed and we found hair and black stains. On daily basis we have to call the house keeping to make up our room. The hotel is busy as they claim but I assure everybody that they cannot handle a busy operations. Too many mosquitoes inside the room since we check in, my wife and i struggled to sleep. Over all i dont recommend this hotel at all. Breakfast is excellent Mint restaurant is excellent Staff are friendly But the hotel isnt clean specially the rooms and the jacuzzi.

This property was in a great location, right next to the beach. Staff was wonderful. There is construction going on but you couldnt hear a thing.
