Lo de la TV no tiene sentido, no hay smart TV en 2026 en un hotel de 4 estrellas , y no fueron capaces de proporcionarme un cable HDMI para conectar mi tablet y ver alguna serie…. Después el agua del grifo salía o ardiendo o fría , dato importante a mejorar..

La atención de todos los trabajadores y trabajadoras. Las instalaciones. La comida. Tuve un problema en la primera habitación con el aire acondicionado, intentaron tres veces arreglarlo y al no poder me cambiaron a otra habitación similar a la primera. Un trato exquisito

Por decir algo que la terraza de la habitación era primera planta, que daba directamente al jardín y en cuanto a privacidad un poco mas escasa pero es una tonteria que se compensaba con el te resto

Gostei da simpatia dos funcionários. Dos quartos atribuídos uma vez que tínhamos uma pessoa com mobilidade reduzida. Ficamos muito próximo de tudo. Da tranquilidade, apesar de haver muitos hóspedes, havia silêncio e tranquilidade.

Da variedade do buffet, a qualidade da comida na minha opinião poderia ser melhor. O acesso à praia para quem tem mobilidade reduzida não é das melhores.

El hotel es fantástico. La animación para los niños. La comida muy buena. Las habitaciones grandes, las toallas de baño muy grandes comparadas con otros sitios. Tiene todo tipo de servicios. Es un hotel genial para ir con niños. Las piscinas son variadas y están genial hace que la gente no se acumule.

While there's a lot of potential in this hotel: pool area is great, it never feels overcrowded, rooms are amazing - the execution was dissapointing: lunch and dinner food with no taste and choice, none of the barmen could make a decent cocktail, spa is a joke.

The location is very quiet but at the other hand there is not much to do in the area. The general facilities could be improved. The elevators really gave me a unsafe feeling. About the restaurant there were no tags (or not much) and it didnt looked tastefull because everything was pushed together (in the middle). For breakfast there was always a waiting line at the egg stand. Also pancakes needed a waiting line. And for the orange juice the cleaning guy needed to refill every 10min. A second machine could be helpfull.

El hotel cumple con todas las necesidades de una estancia espectacular. Habitaciones muy amplias, se nota que han sido reformadas no hace mucho. Las camas son comodísimas y todo estaba muy limpio. El desayuno es muy amplio. Consta de tres piscinas estupendas. Merece muchísimo la pena coger el parking que tiene aunque haya aparcamiento en la puerta.

Accomodatie, behulpzaamheid medewerkers en maaltijden zijn op zich voortreffelijk, maar er is ook een groot minpunt, zie hieronder.

Mijn totaalscore is laag. Reden: vlak onder mijn kamer trad 'savonds een muziekband op met onvoorstelbaar veel herrie. En de hele dag was er binnen een storend soort supermarktmuziek.

We had an absolutely lovely holiday at this gorgeous hotel! The staff at the hotel are the friendliest and most helpful we have ever encountered - and we have been on lots of holidays over the years. From the reception staff, to the catering, and entertainment team, to the housekeepers and lifeguards - literally everyone was super friendly, always helpful and kind. A special mention to all reception staff who regularly helped us with taxi booking, to Jorge and his colleagues for their amazing energy and light, and to Samia for providing excellent iced coffees for us while lazing by the gorgeous pool. The buffet restaurant was always wonderful. We really enjoyed the food and it was always varied out which was nice. Gorgeous fresh orange juice in the morning and lovely fresh food. There was always a nice place to sit and the tables were well set apart so it didn't feel crowded in the seating areas. Beautifully kept rooms and open areas. While we were there there was an eclipse and we were amazed that the hotel provided eclipse glasses for every single guest and put on a really special evening with special entertainment. The staff really are a credit to the hotel industry. Thank you so much for making our holiday very special. Well done Barcelo Cabo de Cata!

We’ve been fortunate to stay in a number of amazing 5* hotels around the world and the service by the team at the Barceló Cabo de Gata was right up there as some of the best examples of hospitality that we have received . From the moment we arrived service was world class. The man who checked us in remembered our name for the whole stay. On our last morning I went to confirm the check-out time, and he gave me the details, used my name, and asked whether we’d enjoyed our stay. The lobby bar was the same. The staff there remembered what we liked to drink, and everything on offer was a well-regarded brand rather than an unknown substitute. We had breakfast in the premium restaurant (Arrozante) every morning. On the first day I ordered an espresso, and after that it just turned up each day without my asking. The room was spacious, bright and spotless, with a great sea view. As parents, we liked that the pool was fenced off when it was closed. There was none of the usual scramble for sun loungers either. People were respectful, and guests would clear their own towels off a lounger when they weren’t using it for a while, so you could always find a spot. The inclusion of a late night pool party on the entertainment agenda was a real winner for our son and was one of those “memory making” moments that you hope for when on a family holiday. Just outside the main hotel there’s a lovely beach with a lifeguard station, which was reassuring with a child. We used the spa every day during the set family time, which was a nice way to wind down together. The hotel had a modern feel and clearly has been renovated from an older building - showing some signs of age in areas such as the lifts, and tiles missing around the pool edges however the hotel was spotless throughout and only a short drive from the airport. Por poner alguna pega, se deberían de mejorar las zonas de sombras de los exteriores sobre todo las del snack bar de la piscina.

Lo que más nos gustó fue que todos los días nos hacían la habitación, cambiando toallas y el agua de cortesía la reponían tambien. Estuvimos en media pensión, y nos encantó que todas las noches había cena temática.

Las piscinas no sentías que te refrescarán agua caliente,, pero supongo que también influye el calor que hacía está semana.

Staff was very welcoming, helpful, smiling, polite - everyone offered great service. The 3 pools are great, very large, super clean with perfectly warmed water. The hotel settings near the beach is also very nice.

Hotel is not representing well the Barcelo brand, it is in dire need of significant renovations. The lamp was falling from the ceiling, the electric plugs fell off the wall in our BR, the air conduits were very black/dirty, there was moisture on the ceiling/ even a hole in the gym and water was dripping from it on the threadmill, the dining room ceiling also was leaking… I could go on. ,

L’emplacement de l’hôtel, la nourriture le buffet très complet et excellent ou niveau du goût surtout.

Le personnel de l’accueille par très accueillant, pas d’effort pour parler notre langue ou essayer de nous comprendre. Les boisson du buffet de nuit sont payant en extra ! Le parking sont à payez en extra et en plus des serviettes de piscine, également payant si oublié sur le transat et qu’il n’a pas été remis.

Excellent little hotel tucked away in southern Spain. Very conveniently located for airport - 10min transfer. Exceptionally friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great food. Everything you need in your room and bathroom incl hairdryer, magnifying mirror, shampoo and conditioner. The big pool is deep and only accessible by metal steps so not ideal for people with mobility issues but there are 2 other small, shallow pools. Food is excellent. Theme nights in the buffet, bbq grill, just great. Excellent kids club. No late check out room or anywhere to change/shower if you leave after 12 which is a shame as kind of ruined our last day. If you want a lively place to look around though this is not for you - it's a quiet hotel. Have been here 10 times though so no real complaints.

I had the pleasure of watching two matches among Spanish fans, hotel guests in the fan zone. Two victories, hopefully a future world champion in 2026. The Spanish are very kind and helpful people. I will always have a good opinion of them.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the pool areas are fantastic and clean, poolside bar staff are really friendly, the dinner service is also great, rooms are very clean and fresh,. The only thing that let it down for us was the local shops and bars were too far to walk to, and most of the entertainment catered for the Spanish

We stayed one night in this hotel. Check in was friendly and professional. The room was adequate and clean but not up to 4 star standard. In fact nothing about this hotel was 4 star as far as we were concerned. The bar was understaffed. We had trouble obtaining a cocktail. We opted to eat in the lobby cafe (outside). The tables remained dirty with used plates & glasses throughout the whole of our meal (we cleaned our own). The food was terrible. How hard is it to make nachos and then pizza edible? I did not dare order anything more challenging after the ordeal it was getting a pre dinner drink. The saving grace was a very good pool area but the pool bar was very underwhelming. Would not stay again.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. It is in a great location-being around 15 mins from the airport and set back from the beach. It is really close to the Natural Park and we visited this each day on a daily run. We booked a Premium Sea View room which was spacious, clean and had a nice side sea view. The room type offered daily access to the spa circuit and use of the hydrotherapy pools, but unfortunately the spa opening times weren’t advertised when I booked and the spa was closed on the Monday and Tuesday so we couldn’t make much use of it during our stay. Where it was a quiet time of year not all facilities in the hotel were available-just the one pool closest to the main building, 1 restaurant and 1 bar but this was fine as it wasn’t busy. We stayed on a half board basis which was buffet, and there was a good choice at dinner-we always found something to eat. The food available at lunch from the bar was also really tasty and we enjoyed salads and tapas from here. We were unable to keep our room a little later on check out day which was a shame but we used the spa this day as it was open. I would imagine the hotel would look and feel quite different during busier months but it was perfect for what we needed as a 3 night break in October.

Nos encontramos una cucaracha en la habitación, esperábamos que al ser un Barceló tuviera las medidas higiénicas y desinfectantes necesarias para que no hubieran cucarachas. Además, que nos cobren la bebida aparte en el buffet y no te incluyan ni una botella de agua me parece excesivo

Dinner buffet was very poor especially the hot dishes which were low quality. There was no wine list, the choice was simply red, white or rose. I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the rooms were a really good size, offering plenty of space to relax comfortably. Everything was kept very clean, which made the stay much more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and creating a pleasant atmosphere. The location is also a strong point, as the hotel is close to the sea, making it easy to enjoy the beach. There is also a good-sized swimming pool, which is perfect for relaxing during the day. However, there were several downsides that affected the overall experience. Dinner was served quite late, starting at 20:00, which may not suit everyone. The food was disappointing — repetitive and lacking flavour, which became noticeable after a few days. There was also no entertainment provided at the hotel, and the location is quite remote. Apart from the sea, there is very little to do nearby, so it can feel a bit isolated, especially for longer stays. Another negative was the pricing at the bar — being charged €8 for a non-alcoholic mojito felt excessive and not good value. Overall, the hotel offers clean, spacious rooms and friendly service in a nice seaside location, but improvements in food quality, entertainment, and pricing would make a big difference.

I recently enjoyed a four-night stay at the Barceló Cabo de Gata in Almería, having booked a Superior Double Room with Sea View. The transfer from the airport took around 10 minutes with no additional hotel drop-offs, which was a great start to the trip. My first impression of the hotel was how exceptionally clean it was. There was even a robot vacuum constantly moving around the public areas, helping to keep the floors spotless. Check-in was straightforward, although there was only one receptionist on duty, resulting in a short wait. As I arrived at 11:00am and rooms are officially available from 2:00pm, I wasn’t expecting early access. However, I was told my room would be prioritised, and less than 10 minutes later I received the keys to Room 274. The room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, modern, and exactly as described on the website. The bathroom and bed were both generously sized, and there was ample wardrobe space with plenty of hangers. The room also included a minibar, kettle, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a hairdryer. Housekeeping visited daily to refresh the room. The balcony was a good size, although the sea view was somewhat restricted by trees. I also felt the trellis-style divider between balconies offered very little privacy. A guest in the neighbouring room regularly smoked on his balcony, and it often felt as though he was sitting right beside me. A more solid partition would greatly improve privacy and comfort. The hotel has three swimming pools, all of which were clean and well maintained. There were plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas, and shaded areas available, and lifeguards were on duty whenever the pools were open. A poolside drinks kiosk provided convenient access to refreshments throughout the day. I stayed on a half-board basis. Breakfast was excellent, with enough variety to suit most tastes. Dinner was less impressive. Service begins at 8:00pm, which felt quite late for me. While there was a good selection of salads, cold meats, and starters, the hot food was often disappointing. The meat dishes were frequently lukewarm or chewy, and throughout my stay the only side option seemed to be chips. It would have been nice to have alternatives such as rice or plain pasta to accompany fish and meat dishes. There is a small shop within the hotel, but it only sells souvenirs. It does not stock essentials such as drinks, snacks, sweets, or crisps. Adding these items would be a welcome improvement, as guests currently need to leave the hotel to purchase them. The nearest convenience store, Zeus, is around a 5–10 minute walk away. Turn left out of the hotel, then right at the roundabout, continue past the English school, and you’ll find it further along on the right. Two larger shops are approximately 15–20 minutes away. Turn right out of the hotel and continue until you reach a roundabout on a bend. Turn right there and both shops are located along that road. Continuing further will take you to the beach, allowing you to return to the hotel via the seafront. The surrounding area is fairly quiet and somewhat isolated, although there are a few restaurants nearby. Along the beachfront route back to the hotel, there is a small amusement area with a climbing wall, children’s games, and a pizzeria. There is also a lovely fish restaurant located directly on the beach. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle, this hotel is an excellent choice. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spacious and immaculate, the facilities were well maintained, and the location is ideal for both the beach and airport. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

We absolutely loved this place, we went in June, the beach was great, warm water. The swimming pools are awesome and the rooms are up to date, big and amazing bed (slept like a baby). I wanna go back

The hotel is nice, big and clean. Room very spacious and clean but bathroom very dated. Location very quiet. Just what we wanted. Staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Food mediocre. Hot food not kept hot properly. Had a meal in El Coral one day and food came out freezing cold. We booked as a couple as it was listed on Jet2 as perfect for couples and we went out of school holidays. But the hotel was teeming with kids. All Spanish families so presumably a Spanish holiday? The noise was unbearable. Kids running around corridors late at night. Running around dining room up til 10.30pm. There was no adult only pool. So no escape for peace and quiet. We had chosen this hotel for its quiet location but definitely wasn’t a quiet holiday.

Beautiful location at the beach. Very friendly checkin. Nice and bright room with a Seaview, instant happy feeling. The dinner buffet was a bit disappointing, but that was maybe because it was not the high season yet. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel is in a great locaiton; room was clean but AC did not work properly the entire time I was there. The buffet food is not great- the worst is that the warm food was not served warm which was disconcerting for food hygiene.

Great location, view and sizes of the room. Several clean pools and close to sea beach (sometimes with jellyfish, which can be informed by MeduzaApp). Very polite and helpful staff. Nice restaurant with good choice of food. It's sad that roasted meat was too tough for our normal teeth (It happened again in Barcelo Hotel - other Spanish hotels left only good experience). WiFi is free but was unstable (from 50Mb to 0). Hope the shown issues will be improved soon...

Las piscinas se quedaban pequeñas para toda la gente que había. El primer día no nos limpiaron la habitación y el segundo día, al ver que volvía a pasar lo mismo, avisamos y nos la arreglaron ya por la tarde. El segundo día quisimos comer en el buffet y estaba cerrado para un grupo y nos dijeron que podíamos comer en los otros restaurantes, y comimos en el que está situado en el hall, tardaron muchísimo en servirnos y cuando lo hicieron, se equivocaron en lo que nos trajeron y tuvimos que comer algo que no era lo que queríamos por no esperar más,se lo dijimos a las chicas que nos estaban sirviendo y ni disculpas pidieron, nos dejaron los platos y ya está. En definitiva me gustó todo le personal la comodidad la cómoda todo muy bien

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und hatten ein großes Zimmer mit einem hervorragend Bett. Die Liegen am Pool waren ebenfalls sehr bequem und auch ausreichend vorhanden. Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall für eine Woche Urlaub und Nichtstun zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits und leider keinen schönen Strandabschnitt, so das man auf die Pools angewiesen ist. Die leider auch nicht alle geöffnet waren. Das war uns aber bekannt. Was uns gar nicht gefallen hat ist der Umgang mit den Kindern im Speisesaal. Die Kinder sind alleine zum Buffett und haben wirklich an den Speisen alles angefasst was ging. Den Eltern war das egal. Vielleicht sollte das Management ein Kinderbüffett anbieten, was dann auch in kinderfreundlicher Höhe angebracht ist.

Größe des Zimmers, tolle Pools, sehr gutes Rezeptionspersonal

Service im Food & Beverage Bereich - Personal war total unaufmerksam und es gibt keine koordinierten Abläufe (hier müsste dringend ein erfahrener F&B Manager mal Ordnung reinbringen); alles dauerte ewig, so dass wir keine Lust mehr hatten dort irgendetwas zu essen; Beim Frühstücksbuffet wird laut geschrien, telefoniert und es herrscht Chaos und keine Manieren (dafür kann das Hotel nichts, aber es ist das Publikum) die Krönung war eine Mega laute Abendunterhaltung bis nach 23 Uhr - es schallte einfach nur laut und die Sängerin sang auch noch schief (wir hatten mehrfach um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten und sogar beim Check in gefragt, ob es an der Bühne vor unserem Zimmer Abendprogramm gäbe und es wurde gesagt nein, aber dann fand es am 3. Abend trotzdem statt und davor war eine laute Poolparty an einem Tag.) Bei uns Nordeuropäer gehen die Kinder leider nicht erst nach 23 Uhr ins Bett und sind auch nicht gewöhnt bei Krach zu schlafen. Im Vorfeld gab es mehrere Unstimmigkeiten mit Links seitens der IT - man hat einfach den Eindruck alles läuft unkontrolliert. Es ist schade, da das Hotel und die Ausstattung gut ist - es fehlt einfach an der Führung.

A very enjoyable stay in a very well presented hotel with very helpful staff. The facilities are excellent and the location is very enjoyable. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone.

L'emplacement de cet hôtel et la qualité des chambres rénovées m'a séduit. Il reste bien entendu quelques petits défauts que mon oeil d'architecte ne peut pas s'empêcher de voir, mais dans l'ensemble les finitions des chambres et de l'hôtel en général sont très bonnes. J'ai également vraiment apprécié le petit-déjeuner copieux et composé de produits de très grandes qualités.

Dans l'ensemble rien ne m'a vraiment dérangé car l'hôtel a rempli mes attentes.

Never stayed in Costa de almeria before and this hotel is so nice. Check in - reception staff all lovely and polite, friendly and explained everything we needed to know. Our room was 319 top floor with sea view, the room is huge, comfy beds and air con worked great, balcony (also huge) had 2 sunbeds on and we heard no noise throughout our stay. We was half board, we normally go all inclusive but this wasn’t an option - think it’s only high season but there was water machine to fill up bottles and a convenient super market 5 mins walk away. Restaurant was lovely and the staff work very hard, I loved the breakfasts everything you can possibly think of was available. Evening meals - the only think we wasn’t keep on was 8pm was the earliest the restaurant opened which think is quite late especially when lots of little ones having to wait and may be being over tired. But the food was good - starters and pudding choice were amazing, main course was a little limited for me, not many choices of vegetables at all but what we had was nice. Pool areas - 2 out the 3 pools were open and lovely and refreshing and nice and cold with the temps we had over 25 degrees so was very nice. Sunbeds although not the comfiest there was plenty of them and some shade was available. Pool bar opened at 11am but was great and filled up cups if needed. We managed to get a late check out room no problems until 6pm which was great for our late flight home and again reception were very helpful with this. I would come here again
