Samui Buri Beach Resort

Vorab: wir waren 30 Tage auf Samui und Phangan unterwegs und das Samui Buri hat uns einfach überzeugt. Wir hatten die Grand Poolvilla gebucht und haben diese zu dritt genutzt. Unsere 8 jährige Tochter hat mit uns im Bett geschlafen, da kein Beistellbett bei Anreise aufgebaut war. Wir hatten nicht bei der Rezeption nachgefragt, aber sicherlich hätte man bestimmt eins bekommen. Das Bett war ausreichend groß und bequem. Wir hatten direkt das erste Bungalow und hatten einen Blick auf Pool, Meer und Restaurant. Am Morgen konnte man wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge am Strand erleben und die Ruhe genießen. Zum Frühstück: Es war alles ausreichend vorhanden und man hat immer einen Platz bekommen. Wir sind Frühaufsteher und waren oft vor 8 beim Frühstück und haben dort die schönen Plätze direkt am Strand bekommen. Gegen 9:30 wurde es voller und man musste die Plätze im Innenraum nutzen. Es gab 2 Kaffeeautomaten und wir mussten nie lange Schlange stehen. Allgemein war das Flair beim Frühstück ruhig und gediegen und trotz der vielen Kinder war der Geräuschpegel angenehm. Im Hotel waren zu 90% deutsche Gäste, die restlichen 10% waren Franzosen. Für uns als Familie mit einem Kind der absolute Volltreffer: Unsere Tochter hatte von Tag 1 an Anschluss gefunden und es hatte sich eine richtige Mädelsgang gebildet und der Abschiedsschmerz war groß. Es gab ausreichend Liegen am Pool und am Strand, aber das Reservieren der Liegen ist wohl eine deutsche Marotte und so waren die besten Plätze tatsächlich schon um 6 Uhr morgens weg(vielleicht hatte man das schon am Vorabend gemach?) Aber in der 2. Reihe hat man immer welche bekommen und am Pool sowieso. Zur Lage: wir hatten uns bewusst für Mae Nam entschieden und es war genauso wie man es sich vorstellt. Der Strand war super ruhig und man hatte rechtsseitig mindestens 1 km Strandabschnitt an dem einfach nichts war. Linksseitig war das Peer mit der Fähre nach KohPhangan und 2,3 andere Hotels, aber auch vor denen war nicht viel los.

Nur eine kleine Sache und das ist wirklich Jammern auf hohen Niveau: Der Pool war 1,60 m tief und ich als 1,68 große Frau konnte darin nicht stehen. Man musste immer schwimmen wenn man sich mal abkühlen wollte oder eben ein Schwimmtier benutzen wenn man nicht tauchen wollte. Der Kinderbereich war 1 m bis 1,20 m tief und natürlich durch die Kinder okkupiert. Mal eben kurz zum Abkühlen bis zum Bauch ins Wasser war nicht drin. Kein Becken für Babys oder Kleinkinder. Preise an der Poolbar waren schon ordentlich:4 Euro für eine kleine Dose Chang und 6 Euro für Cocktails die kaum Alkohol beinhalteten…

Nada en particular, hubo un inconveniente con la máquina de clima de la habitación de mis padres y lo resolvieron cambiándolos de habitación, por tanto, fueron muy rápidos y resolutivos

The restaurant was very expensive, with no apparent reasons. Also, there was a chain smoking couple on the beach in front of the “no smoking” sign and nobody told them to move. They were sitting there for few days and chain smoking - which made it impossible to sit near. They did have a smoking place just behind them but did not use it.

Très bon séjour au Samui Buri ! Hôtel calme, propre et parfaitement adapté aux familles. Personnel très accueillant, sympathique et disponible. Seul petit bémol : l’hôtel est un peu éloigné du centre, mais cela permet aussi de profiter d’un environnement très calme. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Siamo stati on mio marito per 5 giorni. Abbiamo molto apprezzato la posizione sia il fatto di avere una spiaggia tranquilla davanti, che per avere a breve distanza, raggiungibili a piedi un villaggetto con negozi alimentari e numerosi ristoranti e altri servizi. La struttura è molto piacevole, le stanze sono grandi. La piscina privata non l’abbiamo mai usata, credo che possa essere più apprezzata da una famiglia con bambini

Location was great. Pool area and beach was lovely.

Housekeeping was erratic with changing of bath and beach towels. Had to chase them up several times during my stay. EG they cleaned and made up the room one day while I was out but forgot to leave me with any towels after. 🤷‍♂️

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We particularly appreciated the beautifully maintained gardens, the friendly and helpful staff, and the spacious, clean rooms. On our last day, the air conditioning in our room stopped working. The hotel handled the situation very well and kindly upgraded us to a pool villa. This was a lovely gesture and made our final day especially enjoyable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the staff’s effort to make our experience as comfortable as possible.

There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. Most of the breakfast dishes were rather greasy for our taste. We also felt that the smoking area was located too close to the non-smoking area, which meant that cigarette smoke could sometimes be noticeable in the non-smoking section.

Spacious Living: The room, bathroom, and private balcony were all exceptionally large and comfortable. ​Majestic Design: The grand entrance door makes a memorable, regal first impression. ​Beachfront Breakfast: The morning meal served right by the sea was notably tasty with wonderful views.

The hotel is located close to a beautiful beach, which is our favorite. Everything was clean, and the rooms were spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The price offers great value for money. There are several small local restaurants nearby where we often enjoyed delicious meals. Unfortunately, we didn’t really enjoy the food at the hotel. The breakfast was average, although the coffee was quite good and there was always a nice selection of fresh fruit.

I would like to share a few constructive suggestions that could make the guest experience even better. The non-smoking area with the sun loungers by the beach is a great idea. However, the smoking area is only about five meters away, so cigarette smoke still drifts into the non-smoking section, which makes it less enjoyable for non-smokers. The beach towel exchange system could also be improved. Guests are expected to take the used towels back to their room, and they are supposed to be replaced by housekeeping the next day. In practice, it’s difficult because housekeeping can arrive at any time during the day, and we usually leave for the beach before our room has been cleaned. It would be much more convenient to have a towel exchange point by the pool, as there used to be. The sliding patio door in our room did not close completely, leaving a small gap. Because of this, a few insects occasionally got into the room. We managed to deal with it ourselves, but it would be good if the door could be repaired. Some of the staff at breakfast, especially at the egg station, did not speak English. This made it difficult to order an omelet exactly the way we wanted. Even a simple request such as “less oil, please” was not understood. A few small improvements to the breakfast would also make a big difference. Offering a plain, unsweetened yogurt and fresh juice would improve the overall quality. The omelets were made with fresh ingredients, which we appreciated, but they were cooked with a very large amount of oil. Because of this, we eventually stopped ordering them, even though the ingredients themselves were fresh and of good quality.

Schöner Pool, schöner Strand, fußläufig viele Restaurants, nettes Personal

Wir hatten Bettwanzen im Zimmer mein mann hatte ca. 35 bisse, die sich entzündet haben und extrem gejuckt haben ( 2 wochen tägliche Behandlung mit Cortisonsalve). Das nächste angebotene Zimmer haben wir direkt geprüft, in einem Bett war ein wurm oder eine larve, im anderen 100 te eier von irgendwas. Nach Diskussionen bekamen wir ein upgrade, was aber den Stress nicht wettgemacht hat. Bekannte hatten 2 Tage unzählige fliegende Termiten im Zimmer. Der Kammetjäger war alle 2 Tage in einem anderen Zimmer, diese wurden am darauffolgenden Tag direkt writervermietet. Ob das gesund ist? In der poolvilla läuft das komplette Wasser der Dusche richtung wc, nicht nutzbar. Wir haben dann in der Badewanne geduscht Wir reisen sehr viel in Asien, aber sowas ist uns noch nie passiert. Frühstück für Asien ganz ok, aber leider eintönig, keine Variation im obst, keine mangos

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Samui Buri Beach Resort. 😊 Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker – für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. 🍉🥐☕ Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön angelegt, sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. 🌴🌺 Unser Zimmer war sauber und wurde stets ordentlich gereinigt. 🛏️✨ Besonders gefallen hat uns auch der große und schöne Pool – ideal zum Schwimmen und Erholen. 🏊‍♂️💙 Ein großes Lob geht an das gesamte Team! Alle Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben einen tollen Service geboten. 😊👏 Man hat sich jederzeit willkommen gefühlt.

👎Leider gibt es aber auch einen wichtigen Kritikpunkt: Der Strand direkt im Bereich der Liegen war extrem verschmutzt. 😔 Es lag sehr viel Plastik herum, teilweise sogar Glasscherben. Unsere beide Kinder haben sich sogar an weggeworfenem Plastik "bzw. vom Meer angespültem Panzerglas geschnitten. 🩹💔 Das ist nicht nur schade, sondern auch gefährlich. Hier sollte dringend und regelmäßig gründlich gereinigt werden. Insgesamt hatten wir trotzdem einen schönen Urlaub und würden das Resort empfehlen, dennoch würden wir uns freuen, wenn der Strand zukünftig besser gepflegt wird. Dann wäre der Aufenthalt nahezu perfekt! 🌞🌴

Lobby: Wenig Kunden-orientiert, wenig flexibel, wenig engagiert. Unser Wunsch auf Zimmerwechsel konnte trotz zahlreicher freier Zimmer nicht erfüllt werden. Trotz Anmerkung bei Buchung weit im Voraus lag Kinderzimmer extrem weit entfernt von Elternzimmer, auch hier konnte man uns nicht entgegenkommen. Zu den priorisierten Informationen bei Ankunft zählt die Preisliste für beschädigtes Hotelinventar, die der Gast im Schadensfall zu zahlen hat. Ein freundliches Welcome sieht anders aus.

The termites in the wood! sure if they can help it or not , but it those creatures do make residue and if you find it every day. The pool ... Die Lage war sehr schön . Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich . Auch das Bar Personal war immer bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen .

Man hätte den Strand sauber halter können, hier saß das Personal Liebe mit dem Handy in der Hand in der Ecke . Das Frühstück war immer das selbe . Die Spiegeleisr waren meist kalt weil die nicht erwärmt wurden . An machen Stellen könnte man das Hotel sicherlich auch mal wieder aufhübschen. Dieses wurde jetzt bis zum 31.05 gestartet. Manchmal klappt die Verständigung auf Englisch nicht. Das zum Teil recht schade war.

The Thai style architecture is beautiful. Well landscaped. Right on a nice quiet beach. A little bit of neighbouring village life, and an amazing fruit market in walking distance.

There is no great Thai food to be found in any of the neighbouring restaurants as they solely cater for tourists. Some access to authentic food at the market.

Da gibt es so einiges, angefangen vom Empfang fühlten wir uns nicht so richtig willkommen. Wir hatten eine Grandpoolvilla, bei der, der Pool kaum nutzbar war (Wasser ging bis zum Knie). Beim Frühstück gibt es einiges zu beanstanden. Es ist nicht akzeptabel, Wurst, Käse, Butter ungekühlt anzubieten. Brot ist fertig aufgeschnitten und nicht abgedeckt, trocknet also aus. Personal wirkte im allgemeinen unmotiviert. Warum? Management? Auflagen am Pool und Strand wären wünschenswert. Mein Fazit für dieses Hotel: Wunderschöne Anlage mit Potenzial nach oben.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold og valgte at blive 3 dage ekstra. Personalet er meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Vores værelser var store og fine. Fantastisk pool og omgivelser, vi elsker hotellets stil. Flere restauranter lidt oppe af vejen.

Bar og restaurant var en smule dyr.

Besonders lieb war das Personal. Und Anlage ist atemberaubend schön mit sauberem Strand davor. Auch die Nähe zum fährterminal ist sehr von Vorteil

If I were to describe the hotel briefly, it would look more like a dying business trying to make money from its guests in any way possible. The minuses include a large number of insects in our breakfast food, dirty vegetables, insects in the bed (and they were not mosquitos), very old plumbing, everything barely works. However, be careful with this hotel. Since we had a special situation that shocked not only us but also other guests. We damaged the hotel's property, and the general manager Yada instead of treating us humanely, showed herself in the most disgusting way. She threatened, blackmailed, deceived, quoted an unrealistic price for repairing the damage we had done, and behaved in a completely inhumane manner, not to mention that it was unprofessional. We never refuse our responsibility, but tried to resolve the issue in the most humane and honest way possible. However, the manager's mind was clouded, knowing that we were tourists and wanting to make as much money as possible from us, she constantly lied, couldn't provide real documents for the repair, changed her words, and when we told other guests at the hotel about this situation, everyone was shocked because this is not what you expect at a big, expensive hotel in Thailand. We are all humans and different situations can happen on vacation, but we always want other people to treat us well and this hotel is an example of the opposite, so be careful when you come there, you never know what can happen with you, but you can be sure that this hotel will treat you as badly as possible and will try to rip you off for all the money you have.

The beds are on the firmer side, but typical for Thailand. Guests were a bit standoffish. Staff was super friendly, but not always super attentive in the restaurant

Het zwembad, de locatie aan het strand, de massage faciliteiten, onze villa met zwembad, de wifi, het ontbijt.

Wij vonden het personeel heel gemaakt vriendelijk. Bij aankomst alom vriendelijkheid, bij vertrek koud en zakelijk. Een oase van vriendelijkheid en humor was Rose, zij was echt een pluspunt. Verder was er geregeld meerdere opties van de menukaart niet beschikbaar, dat was ook jammer. De prijzen van eten en drinken waren ook echt fors aan de prijs voor Thaise begrippen.

It was overall what we were looking for, traditional, spacious and own pool access. The property was mostly quiet and peaceful. Fresh towels every day, and a very responsive reception desk that can be reached via WhatsApp, which helps with communication barriers.

The cleanness was substandard. There were termites and visible residuals around the bathroom vanity and the floors, which also indicated that the countertops were not wiped daily. Water was forgotten to be provided on the second last day. There were flying ants (or something similar) on the door lock which made us walk into a flying swamp every time we left or entered the room. The breakfast was hit and miss, some days there were simply no labels to the food, not great if you have any allergies or intolerances, or simply want to know what you possibly eat. Dishes and glasses were sometimes dirty. It almost depended on what crew was working. I’d expect more consistency from a hotel. The breakfast pastry was never fresh, always stale and heaps of flies around the fruits, mostly trapped inside the cover. Staff should be more attentive to such things. The most disappointing experience was that money disappeared from the room on the first morning while we were at breakfast. It was probably partly my fault because I didn’t lock my wallet away, but still disappointing that it was actually necessary to do so.

Resorten som byggdes för ca 20 år sedan är magnifik! Husen går i autentisk thai-stil och är otroligt vackra, likaså den grönskande trädgården som med sina gångar leder till varje hus. Längst ner i trädgården intill stranden finns ett fint poolområde med gott om solstolar, både vid pool och strand. Poolbar i poolen och restaurangen finns alldeles intill. Reception, rum, bungalows, verandor/balkonger, sängar, dusch, badkar, osv är väl tilltagna och ger fina sällskapsytor och mycket svängrum. Vi frågade om möjlighet att duscha i gymmet efter utcheckning innan hemfärd men fick ett helt rum till vår förfogenhet, handdukar dessutom, helt utan extra kostnad!

Märktes ett slitage av färg och handfat i just vårt badrum men inget som stör den fantastiska helheten.

Sehr schöne Lage direkt am Strand. Große Zimmer mit Poolzugang. Riesige Auswahl beim Frühstück. Das Restaurant ist leider sehr teuer (kleine Flasche Chang Bier EUR 4,50) Supermärkte und günstigere Restaurants ganz in der Nähe.....

Diese Unsitte,das die Liegen am Pool schon morgens um 7 Uhr mit Handtüchern reserviert werden finde ich nicht OK.

Keine Liegen an der Poolvilla 😠

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, nahe gelegen gibt es Möglichkeiten zum einkehren.

Das Frühstück war fürchterlich. Für die Anzahl an Gästen gab es definitiv zu wenig Kaffeemaschinen oder Toaster, was an einem Tag sogar zu einem Handgemenge geführt hat.

Výborné a chutné snídaně, velký výběr všeho, možnost evropské snídaně i thajská jídla. Nádherné místo u krásné pláže, teplé moře, příjemný vstup do moře. Krásný resort v thajském stylu, měli jsme vlastní bazén.

Great tour service and laundry and bike hire on site. We booked 2 other tours externally that stood us up. Peaceful, clean and lovely staff. Massive quiet grounds.

A little remote but bikes were great. Ordered one bad dish from restaurant. The lobster was off, and was Bug not Lobster. All other meals were amazing.

Ort ist selbst in der Hochsaison extrem ruhig, also nur für Entspannung Suchende zu empfehlen

Die Anlage ist angelegt in einem paradiesisch tropischen Garten. Ausgestattet mit einem sehr schönen Pool der das ganze traumhafte Erscheinungsbild abrundet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die perfekte Lage, für alle die Weg vom Trubel sein wollen, und die Ruhe genießen möchten. Dazu liegt das Hotel direkt am sehr schönen und sauberen Mae Nam Beach, der für schöne Strandspaziergänge sehr gut geeignet ist. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt liegen einige authentische und sehr gute kleine Restaurants.

Labai malonus, mandagus, paslaugus personalas. Didelis kambarys su dviem lovomis. Rami vieta, su gražiu paplūdimiu. Prižiūrėta teritorija. Viešbučiui gal jau ir reikia atnaujinimo, bet man tai neturėjo esmės. Viešnagė mums labai patiko. Sugrįžtumėm, rekomenduojam!

Viloje labai trūko gulto, kur išlipęs iš baseiniuko, galėtum prigulti. Turėtų skirti daugiau dėmesio gultams prie jūros. Nuo pat ryto jie yra užimami, nors niekas nesinaudoja. Pridedu nuotrauką, kaip atrodo pliažas prie jūros su tuščiais gultais.

Freundliches Personal, gute Lage

In die Jahre gekommene Anlage. Überalterte Gäste, die schon vor dem Frühstücken alle Liegestühle mit ihren Tüechli besetzen.

Die Lage, der Pool inkl. Poolbar, Personal.ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Geräumige Zimmer teilweise mit direktem Poolzugang von der Terrasse. Die Infrastruktur um das Resort. Sehr schöner Strand.

Die Anlage ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Restaurant ist nicht gut geführt. Es hat des öfteren an Speisen und Getränke gefehlt.

מלון שקט מאוד, החלק החיצוני של המלון יפהפה, חוף ים וברכה נהדרים

החדר לא נעים, המלון ישן וזה ניכר ברהיטים, עץ מתקלף, אך החדרים גדולים מאוד. בנוסף למרות שהזמנו הרבה מראש מיטה זוגית קיבלנו חדר עם שתי מיטות יחיד.
