Occidental Ankara

Hersey

selection for the breakfast was limited for my liking.

The location, cleanliness & ambiance

Breakfast. They need to improve a lot.

Great location, free parking, and very friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing significant. Everything met our expectations.

Everything was good overall.

They were not refilling our amenities automatically and we had to call the receptionist every day for something! Also the last two days we had a different housekeeper and she was knocking at our door every morning even though we had our privacy sign on!!

Camera bellissima e pulita! L’hotel si trova in ottima posizione. Colazione molto buona.

Location is perfect, to main strip. Staff were friendly and helpful where required.

We had 2 little ones, so space was very limited but rooms were average size, for inner city- it’s expected. Shower was really not great - base didn’t drain water, held water- so we kept stepping in old water the next morning. It was a bit too much dust, like they never dusted the room- or vacuumed properly.

The room was incredible - large, clean, with an extremely comfortable bed, very nice furniture including a sofa, a big window and controllable air conditioning. The room was also very fancy - I had to work during the stay, so the pretty, spacious environment made it much more pleasant. The hotel has a realible, fast wifi connection. What absolutely exceeded expectation was the bathroom, which contained a huge shower that was almost the size of a small room, with a stone bench - very nice. Breakfast was good, options are about the regular, staff would prepare eggs on request. Staff was trying to be helpful, especially the reception and cleaning man were very kind. Room service food was great. Price is reasonable. Location in the centre is convenient.

Staff spoke little to no english, some seemed really annoyed to be there, especially during breakfast. Had this unfortunate incident during room service where this young staff guy bringing us a huge food trolley accidentally knocked over my drink, spilled like half of it into my meal and then ran off without saying a word - not really that big of a deal to me, but at the very least a sorry wouldve been nice.

Fem sjärna i mindre förpakning. Fantastiskt läge.

Excellent breakfast selection Passable gym

Room was small Steep hill

Herşey mükemmel

The location is nice. Breakfast is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. Room are clean

A bit noisy - I could hear the elevator and my neighbours. The floor public areas are a bit tiny.

Location and staff food and service

The bed was not too confortable and pillows were not the best

It is fully renovated- The old Divan hotel. location is prime.

Tolle Badezimmer, tolle Lage. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal.

Great location and reasonable price, room was of a good size with w big bed, it was cold outside and raining but room heating was working well.

Breakfast could be with bigger better choices and it’s a first place in Türkiye where coffee was just bad.

Konumunu

Gece yarısından sonra koridorda temizlik sesleri vardı

Staff were polite, and location is great.

- Worst bathroom tap I have ever used in my life. I seriously don't know who tested this tap design and thought it would be a good idea to implement. Almost burned my hand 3 times. - AC control for cooling was disabled. The room gets feverishly hot in a few hours even if you keep all AC (warm mode) off, and leaving the window is not very practical because of the traffic right underneath. - Request for bar soap was denied by the hotel under the guise of sustainability

We love the hotel Location is what we hoped very close to restaurants Taxi & park Clean very comfortable Our room was upgraded Very spacious Barroom was very nice

Service Location, Last year we stained at Hilton Same location 5 star I was a bit sceptic to stay 4 star But I was wrong this property service is 10 out of 10

We love the hotel so much we end up booking 5 more days Total 14 days we staid location & rooms are 5 star

Service Specially the Hotel manager makes you feel very special sends fruit baskets chocolates to the room We had a little misunderstanding when we checked in re Exchange rate ed up being our mistake hotel manager was could in He first apologised not even his fault handled our inquiry professionally politely All the way out stay he made us feel very special each time when we saw him he was there always Thank you so much

Location Service of staff

Location it’s only 4 Star but staff makes you feel you are royal Breakfast is excellent room Service is amazing quality of the food five star

Clean, best location and amazing staff.

Nothing. Prefect all around.

I had a very pleasant stay at Occidental Ankara. The overall hotel quality is very nice, with comfortable rooms and a well-maintained atmosphere. The breakfast was a highlight: self-service and very plentiful, with a wide variety of food options to suit different tastes. Everything was fresh and well organized. The location is excellent, close to the vibrant Kavaklıdere area, with many cafés, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The wellness facilities were easily accessible and a great addition to the stay, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. Overall, a great choice in Ankara I would definitely recommend it.

The fitness room was missing the appropriate weights.

Locatio, cleanleness, staff

None

Her şeyi güzeldi beğendim, özellikle konumu harikaydı.

Temizlik ve lokasyon

Staff was very kind and helpful. the room for family was great. it was like two seperate apartments connected by a private corridor. rooms and bathrooms were very clean. beds were very comfortable. the breakfast was also great.

I can't tell a single thing that we didn't like.

excellent hotel with best location . clean & staff nice .

Servizio top, il facchino molto servizievole, camere belle e ampie, colazione molto variegata. Consigliatissimo

The hotel has a great location. It is close to one of the main streets in the city.

The common areas can be bigger.

nothing

Many issues , the AC was not working properly & it made sounds, the Housekeeping team knocked on the door early in the morning many times that we got disturbed, we asked for room cleaning , they didn't do anything just replaced the towels while the bathroom was still dirty. There are very bad facilities not a proper restaurant nor a good Spa. The table lamp fell down on the table, the cover got broken, they charged us $50 that was shocking , only 3 star hotels do that !
