The two free electric cars charging stations right next to the hotel, really practical for people with EV! Beds were really comfortable too! Breakfast was really good!

I didn’t know there was no elevator in this hotel and that our room would be on the second floor with a little staircase to climb with all our luggage! I might have overlooked the information in our booking, so it’s not necessarily their fault!

The location was perfect - walking distance to some shops and food/restaurants. I liked that it was an external entrance so I didn't have to walk far to my car.

The room was a bit damp/musty and the bathroom needs a bit of updating (the toilet was so low to the ground and the shower/tub was clean, but was clearly old and in need of an upgrade.

The property is in need of update very dated.

My family and I unexpectedly found this hotel after the hotel we had originally booked double-booked our room. The front desk staff went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and comfortable. They truly saved our trip, and we were so grateful for their kindness and exceptional hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The Amsterdam Inn is not a 5 star location and to be fair, they do not bill themselves as one. I think that some travel sites list them as a 2 or 3 star location. Having said that, it is a property that offers you all that you need when you are traveling. A clean room, comfortable bed, and a full breakfast in the morning. I was very impressed with this location and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The location was perfect. The layout of the hotel was also very convenient. The room was nice, spacious and clean.

No elevator (only two stories) and we had a senior with us.

Google Maps shows the location in a place full of stores, roads and fast food restaurants but the hotel is actually surrounded by trees, bushes and it is very quiet. It is very convenient to be able to walk to the stores and restaurants.

Very minor thing.,They don’t carry hot chocolate at the coffee center in summer , some of us like a hot drink who do not prefer tea or coffee.

The staff were lovely, the property was immaculate, the rooms were exceptionally clean and they had a beautiful hot/cold breakfast. They even had an electric charging station to use for free!! We have stayed in a lot of hotels, and this one was one of the cleanest and quietest. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Not one complaint!

I am reporting for my husband's stay on the way to Nova Scotia. He reports that there was nothing bad to report and that he was glad to be able to get a room with easy access for taking things from the car into the room. He did note that the screen door on the room was torn. He was also quite glad that there were waffles available at breakfast, as well as sausages and scrambled eggs.

Very clean and conveniently located

Staff is welcoming, rooms are immaculate and quiet, there is a complementary breakfast and location is convenient.

No elevator- those who cannot do stairs would need to ask for a first floor room.

Beautiful hotel beside the potato museum. Very quiet. Excellent beds and bedding. Very clean. Excellent breakfast and great restaurant on site for dinner.

I found the bed too hard

The breakfast was wonderful. Very filling and lots of choice. It was fresh and hot. Beds were comfy and lots of warmth. Pillows very comfy. Liked the soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. Better than bars of soap, etc.

With your plan to go green, the flushes could be exchanged for the double flush type for water conservation and also be a bit higher seating as the low flushes for older people, or people with mobility issues are not great for get up and down.

Nice clean rooms, comfy beds. Included breakfast is great value.

Front desk clerk when we arrived was very friendly and helpful, but didn't seem to be very aware of what was in the area to see/do/eat. Might need a bit of training for staff to know the amenities in the area.

Absolutely Worth It Late 1800’s heritage home in great condition. Very comfortable queen bed with updated plumbing fixtures. Extremely nice hosts, comfortable conversations, not overbearing. Amazing French cuisine breakfast in their restaurant nearby. Beaches and nearby parks are very nice with a lot of soft sand. Parlee Beach is a beautiful spot to catch a sunset.

Not enough parking. Too much equipment parked in parking spots and some equipment taking up two spots. Stairs to get to the second floor. No elevator or not told about one.

First room was very musty. Asked to be moved. We were but nobody apologized for the inconvenience. When we checked out it was something like you are fine to go ..but no thank you for staying or how was your stay . Not very impressive

Had to stay there 2 separate occasions and the second time the price almost double on the second stay for the same room one week apart

Nice size room with easy access. Very comfortable bed and usable desk.

Room 103 is adjacent to the breakfast area and gets quite a bit of noise from about 5am.

It felt safe and was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The parking was close to the room; so easy to take things in and out. The breakfast tasted homemade and had lots of variety.

We didn't have warm water so we couldn't take shower,breakfast was poor, bathroom was full of hair.

Have stayed here several times. They have a great EV charger (that is free!) right outside the main door. Breakfast is pretty decent. Rooms are clean, great value for what you pay.

Easy access from hwy. very clean & comfortable. Grounds were beautiful and anything u need for food or just a coffee is across the road. We were travelling with a small dog and since it has an inside or outside door very easy to him in & out not disturbing anyone else.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful upon check in. Toilet needed repair which the hotel fixed in a timely manner. Bathroom had no conditioner, bottle was empty, had to do without. The location was just off the highway, but tucked back off the Main Street in the trees. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, beds were comfortable and everything was immaculate. Breakfast was included and there were both hot and cold selections.

It didn't bother us, but there is no elevator. Those who have mobility issues or traveling with heavy luggage may want to request a first floor room.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, the environment was quiet, and the overall atmosphere made for a very comfortable visit. It's clear the staff takes pride in maintaining the property. Definitely my go-to choice whenever I'm in the area—highly recommended for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Everywhere was spotless from the parking lot, to the reception, the dining room and of course, the room. Walking distance to a family restaurant/fast food chains and stores. Spacious grounds if you had a young family. The excellent buffet hot Breakfast served from 6 -10 a.m. and gave a good window of time to eat whether you were an early riser or wanted to sleep in. The use of proper crockery and cutlery instead of plastic was appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful.
