Kanok Buri Resort

Bardzo klimatyczny obiekt , mieliśmy pokój z małym basenem, okazało się to strzałem w 10 :) cisza, spokój brak zgiełku. W obrębie resortu wszystko co potrzeba, restauracje, sklepy, pralnia, świeże kokosy. Zdecydowanie polecamy, na bank wrócimy 🙂

Erg mooi en schoon resort. Mooi huisje, grote kamer met eigen dompelbad vlakbij het restaurant. Gelegen op een rustige plek met een paar goede restaurants en massage opties in de buurt. Voor vermaak ‘s avonds kun je een scooter of auto huren en naar de marktjes. Deze liggen wel op 30 - 45 minuten rijden met de scooter. Voor ons was dat geen probleem. We zijn hier een week geweest.

De bedden in Thailand zijn over het algemeen vrij hard. Hier dus ook maar dat ligt dus niet aan dit hotel.

Nuestra experiencia fue buena porque la habitación con piscina privada está bastante bien, pero el hotel está en general bastante deteriorado y no corresponde con las fotos publicadas. El desayuno es bastante mejorable. El personal es amable y la playa es bonita y tiene buena zona de baño. Nuestra experiencia fue buena también porque junto al hotel, en la playa, hay un restaurante muy agradable, con buena carta, buenos precios y una atención excelente.

This is a very family friendly spot that is so relaxing & felt uncrowded. We stayed in the bungalows on the beach-side of the resort and it was perfect. So glad we decided to stay here on the western side of the island away from the party atmosphere of the eastern coast. Many restaurants nearby to choose from as well as laundry service, massages and money exchange. Included breakfast was good each day, and staff were very pleasant and attentive. We very much enjoyed this well cared for resort with its beautiful Thai style aesthetic.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ganz schön wenn man sich ausruhen und keinen Trubel möchte. Auch das Resort selbst ist ruhig und man kann sich gut erholen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im hoteleigenen Restaurant ist sehr gut. Die Thai Gerichte und die Drinks sind lecker. Das Reinigungspersonal war sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Wir hatten eine Villa mit Tauchbecken, die leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist und wir hatten uns definitiv mehr erhofft, besonders anhand der Bilder und der Beschreibungen. Hier passt Preis-Leistung unseres Erachtens gar nicht. Bis auf ein paar wenige Ausnahmen sollte dringend an der Freundlichkeit des Personals gearbeitet werden. Das gilt vor allem für die Rezeption.

Wir hatten Garten-Bungalows gebucht und sie waren großräumig, gepflegt und sauber. Das Bett war zu hart für unseren Geschmack aber es wurde sofort einen Topper vom Zimmer-Dienst organisiert. Der Strand war schön, das Frühstück gerade mal ok, aber nicht top.

Leider ist die Außenanlage in die Jahre gekommen. Außerdem sind alle schönen hohen Palmen, die man auf den Fotos auf Booking.com sieht, nicht mehr da. Der Poolbereich ist also leider eine Betonwüste geworden, ohne Schatten und der Pool ist viel kleiner als auf den Fotos, die scheinbar mit Weitwinkel aufgenommen wurden. Für alle Resort-Gäste gab es insgesamt 9 Sonnenschirme, die meistens beim Frühstück bereits "reserviert" waren. Somit haben einige Gäste des Resorts (uns inklusive) sich vor dem benachbarten Hostel im Schatten gelegt. Das kann für den Preis und die angeblichen 4 Sterne nicht sein! Letzter Punkt (und hier kann das Hotel nichts für): Die Gegend war absolut tot! Wenige Gäste (in den meisten Restaurants saßen abends 3-4 Personen), leere Hotelanlagen und geschlossene Appartments links und rechts, abends absolut nichts los. Wir hatten bewusst eine ruhigere Gegend als Chaweng oder Lamai gewählt aber Lipa Noi war sehr deprimierend.

Wir haben in einer Familienzimmer mit Pool übernachtet. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig, bequeme Betten und der Pool beim Bungalow / Familienzimmer war ein Highlight und ideal zum Entspannen zwischen durch. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr nett - besonders die Pflanzenwelt war traumhaft. Der Strand ist klein. Es könnten mehr Liegen und Schirme vorhanden sein. Die Liegen sind zum Teil auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Strand selbst wirkt nach der Flut immer etwas unordentlich, da es vom Meer einiges anschwemmt. Was aber immer vom Personal bereinigt wird. Generell ist das Personal sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Das Meer generell ist sauber. Das Frühstück ist überschaubar aber ausreichend und gut.

Der erste Einblick vom Strand war etwas enttäuschend, das wir am späten Nachmittag ankamen und die Flut bereits eingesetzt hat. Am Morgen danach war das Bild bedeutend besser. Schade dass es für Kinder keine Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten wie zB Tischtennis oder ähnliches gibt. Ein paar Schönheitsfehler sind in der ganze Anlage zu finden (z.B. löchrige Vorhänge, kaputte Liegen...).

Das Resort ist sehr schön angelegt! Wir hatten ein Tauchbecken bei unserem Zimmer dabei, was wir sehr genossen haben. Das Frühstück hat für uns ebenfalls wunderbar gepasst. Super fanden wir, dass es ausreichend Liegen am Strand gab! Fußläufig gibt es kleine Supermärkte und schöne Restaurants.

Leider hatten wir Probleme mit dem Wasserdruck, in der Dusche kam nur wenig Wasser. Außerdem kam, wenn man die Klima länger laufen ließ, Eis bzw Wasser raus. Wir haben dies zwei Mal gemeldet, beim ersten Mal war jemand da und hat sie einfach ausgemacht. Beim zweiten Mal wurde dann offenbar was gemacht, hat aber auch nur zwei Nächte gehalten.

The only bad thing, but it’s something very cosmetical, is that the vibe is 2006. Is not bad at all, but with a little bit of restoration of the pool and common areas would make it have the surrounding this place deserves. As said, something very minor that didn’t affect our stay at all! We will return

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre sejour dans cet hotel juste au bord de la plage. Le personnel de chambre est agréable. La villa avec piscine est top. Le petit déjeuner correspond au standart des hotels Thaïlandais. Le stand omelette a la demande était un reel plus.

Il était noté piscine profonde mais en réalité elle na rien de profonde. Le terme est selon moi mal choisi. Un peu plus de choix sucré au petit déjeuner serait apprécié.

Die Familien Pool Villa war sehr großzügig und wunderschön.

Das Restaurant sowie der Poolbereich ist leider sehr lieblos und schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben nie dort gegessen bzw etwas getrunken, weil es für uns einfach nicht sehr einladend und gemütlich gewirkt hat. Da besuchten wir lieber die Bar nebenan.

La posizione è valida solo per la spiaggia perché si trova lontano da tutto .

Die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt und liegt direkt an einen wunderbaren Strand. Alles ist sauber und wird regelmäßig gereinigt. In der Umgebung sind viele kleine Lokale.

Die vielen alten leeren PlastikTöpfe überall standen. Steinbadewanne die nicht ging , Duschkopf defekt (wurde ersetzt) Anmerkung: Die nicht ablaufende Dusche rausreissen und wo die Badewanne steht ,eine Traumdusche hinstellen.

Nice beach, and the villas with pools are decent enough, though the hotel is past its prime—the furniture and curtains are worn. The small private pool is great when there are no sunbeds left on the beach. The staff are friendly—the young woman at reception is particularly helpful—and the hotel has the potential to be better.

I’ll start with the breakfasts, which were monotonous—the same thing every day with no variety; there was little fruit, only plain yogurt, and just toast bread (no other types available), even though it wouldn't take much to improve things. There were few sun loungers—about 15 on the beach but only 4 by the pool. Overall, the area around the pool and restaurant looked dreary; it’s July, and Christmas decorations were still hanging up. It’s clear the hotel has a poor manager, as minor changes could make a big difference. The hotel is in a secluded location, so having your own transport is a good idea; it’s a 25-minute walk one way to the nearest 7-Eleven, though there are three good places for dinner nearby.

Cisza i spokój. Położenie przy samej plaży. Wygodna willa rodzinna z czystym basenem. Bardzo pomocny personel. Dobre śniadania. Lokalizacja - daleko od zgiełku. Pokoje bardzo czyste, sprzątane codziennie. Brak robaków. Przepiękna plaża.

En general, la estancia ha sido agradable. Destacaría especialmente la amabilidad del personal, siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar. El hotel tiene unas instalaciones bonitas, la habitación tenía un tamaño adecuado y la limpieza era correcta. Las zonas comunes estaban bien cuidadas y la playa privada es un punto muy positivo.

Como aspectos a mejorar, la ducha no dispone de mampara, lo que resulta poco práctico y acaba mojando gran parte del baño. También se aprecia bastante desgaste en las tumbonas, tanto las de la habitación como las de la playa, lo que da una imagen de falta de mantenimiento. Por último, la máquina de café ofrecía diez variedades, pero durante nuestra estancia solo funcionaban correctamente cuatro, algo que debería revisarse.

Nice and quiet hotel with friendly staff, nice pool and lovely beach area with sunbeds and umbrellas. Rooms were cleaned daily and we got new water bottles every day - nice service! Prices were fair, but not cheap.

It is a bit worn down and has seen better days. The tiles in our plunge pool need a replacement and some of the tiles in the reception was loose. The umbrellas and sunbeds were often “reserved” by guests despite signs saying the opposite. It was a shame, as it was very difficult to get a place in the shade.

La posizione lontano dal caos.

Abbiamo soggiornato in una villa con piscina privata. Il cortiletto adiacente alla piscina privata non è stato spazzato durante il soggiorno (presenza delle medesime tre foglie per quattro giorni consecutivi). I lettini prendisole della piscina privata erano sporchi dal momento dell'arrivo fino alla partenza. La pulizia generale della camera è sembrata un po’ superficiale, con una presenza visibile di sporco sui vetri della porta finestra. Sullo sgabello in camera era presente l’impronta di un piede (segnalata alla reception). I mobili della stanza mostravano segni di usura e mancanza di manutenzione, tra cui schizzi di tinteggiatura residua sulle superfici. Le tende oscuranti avevano piccoli fori nel tessuto. La serratura della porta d'ingresso della camera era danneggiata e ogni volta aprire/chiudere era un’impresa, tant’è che il personale addetto alle pulizie lasciava sempre la porta aperta dopo il riordino. Il guasto è stato segnalato alla struttura il primo giorno di soggiorno, ma non è stato riparato nel corso della permanenza. L'impianto di aria condizionata si spegneva automaticamente alla rimozione della chiave dalla fessura, al rientro le temperature erano alquanto elevate. Non c’era acqua calda, né nella doccia né nel lavandino. Le sdraio in legno messe a disposizione sulla spiaggia erano danneggiate. Sulla sabbia, in prossimità del lettino, c’era un pezzo di legno distaccato da una sdraio, con chiodi sporgenti esposti. La colazione veniva servita esclusivamente in un'area all'aperto, priva di una sala interna dotata di aria condizionata. La scelta era limitata : due tipi di succo di frutta, acqua fredda un sogno, tre varianti di marmellata e un'unica tipologia di pane (pan carré). Non erano presenti dolci o torte, a eccezione di una singola mattina in cui sono stati serviti mini croissant. La frutta fresca disponibile proponeva solo due varietà (anguria e dragon fruit).

Pillow and bed uncomfortable. There was a step in the bathroom that made us fall. The room was not cleaned. Hotel is isolated, there is not anything around in a walking distance, you need a car to go to the restaurant or attractions of the island.

Det er svært at anmelde. Det er vildt billigt, så hvad kan man egentlig forvente. Villaen var stor med 2 badeværelser, men der var hul i lagenet og slidte håndklæder. Poolen var ny og stranden havde vi næsten for os selv!! Restauranten er ikke så god, men den lækreste restaurant ligger 30 meter væk, så det gør ikke noget at den ikke er god på stedet. Hotellet er langt billigere end mange steder i Danmark og man får en kæmpe villa med egen pool. Ingen mennesker på stranden, pool til ungerne kan lege i. Så hvad kan man forvente mere!?

Morgenmaden er lidt skrabet. Men hvad kan man forvente når det er så billigt.

Le staff est adorable et nous les remercions pour la petite attention pour notre lune de miel. L'emplacement à Lipa Noi est très excentré et calme : à éviter si vous voulez de l'animation, mais parfait si vous cherchez à vous ressourcer.

We have just returned after our two week stay and we loved every minute of it. The resort was great, the staff were always so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Private Villa with plunge pool which had everything we needed for our stay. The area is very peaceful with a beautiful beach at the front of the resort.

302-es szobába voltunk, ami a legjobb helyen volt szerintem. Közel a recepció,part,étterem. Nagyon szép volt a strandjuk. A privát medence is nagyon jó volt, és figyeltek folyamatosan annak a tisztaságára is. Személyzet nagyon kedves, mindenben segítettek.

Lovely resort, friendly staff, food and drinks are great in their restaurant and it's on the best part of the sunset beach. A convenience store within 15 minute flat walk and about 20 different restaurants to try. No nightlife, perfectly peaceful and relaxing

Das Hotel wird durch eine stark befahrene Straße geteilt und Familienvillen sind im hinteren Teil des Hotels relativ weit entfernt vom Strand. Die Einrichtung ist sehr stark abgewohnt und zumindest in unserer Familienvilla war es nicht sehr sauber und in den Bädern gab es täglich mehrere große Maden, die aus den Abflüssen kamen.

Managerial staff was rude

Tolle private Unterkunft mit Pool. Die Unterkunft ist direkt am Strand. „Fitnessstudio“ vorhanden, war nur mit drei Aufwärmgeräten (Laufband, Fahrrad und Stepper) und einem Gerät, aber ich habe es genutzt.

Man hat schon gemerkt, dass die Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. So habe ich super lange gebraucht um die Türe vom Bungalow abzuschließen, weil da Schloss so alt und verrostet war. Mit den Mücken war das etwas nervig. Man muss wissen dass die Lage des Hotels eher etwas abseits und ruhig liegt, man benötigt einen Roller um sich fortzubewegen:) Das Frühstück war sehr sporadisch.

Leider war die Pool Villa eine große Enttäuschung. Der Pool war nicht sauber und das Wasser wirkte trüb. Die Liegen und der Außenbereich waren teilweise beschädigt und ungepflegt. Außerdem gab es Probleme mit der Sauberkeit im gesamten Haus. Für den hohen Preis haben wir deutlich mehr erwartet. Auch der Service auf Beschwerden wurde nur langsam reagiert. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr schlecht – wenig Auswahl und jeden Tag fast identisch. Insgesamt würden wir diese Villa nicht noch einmal buchen.

Calm area, good to hide from touristic masses. Beach and pool area is nice. Bathroom and room is spacious.

The resort is a once-luxurious but now outdated, old-school style, feels a bit run down in some parts, especially interior in rooms.

Sobe so velike in prostorne,lepo urejene,sredi bujnega zelenega vrta. Do plaže in restavracije je le nekaj korakov.

Postelje so velike,a neudobne,vzmetnice so pretrde. Kopalniška garnitura bi bila za zamenjati. Zajtrk je okusen,a lahko bi bilo več izbire.

Lage sehr schön. Absolut ruhig und in der Nachbarschaft genügend gute und günstige Lokale. Strand und Wasser top. Wir hatten die Villa mit Pool. Absolut empfehlenswert. Wer aber Aktion will, ist hier am falschen Platz. Roller Verleih sind mehrere gleich in der Nachbarschaft. Unbedingt ausleihen.

Das Frühstück war sehr sehr spartanisch. Keine Wurst, kein Käse. Nur zwei Sorten Obst und das fast jeden Tag das gleiche. Brot Fehlanzeige. Tost und 1 Sorte Croissant. Das wars. Thai Frühstück auch jeden Tag das selbe und auch magere Auswahl . WLAN sehr mager. Im Lokal bzw Frühstücksraum in 15 Tagen nicht einmal gegangen. Bar bzw lokal daneben viel besser, günstiger und WLAN perfekt. Für paar Tage okay aber 2 Wochen nicht.

The location is absolutely perfect Really beautiful

I booked quite late and arrived thinking that I had a room with a bed and a sofa bed. This wasn’t the case despite it being requested through Booking.com… when I asked for some bedding for my son to sleep on the sofa.. it was very difficult to get them to provide anything because they said housekeeping was not there. The lady on reception was rude and dismissive… they then tried to charge me for an additional bed even though it hadn’t been provided.. very odd behaviour from the front desk. After I complained a bit, they did sort it out and I actually didn’t get the additional charge… my issue is I would’ve quite happily paid for it and said that on my booking… they were just rude. In contrast the staff in the restaurant area were lovely and the breakfast was fairly ordinary, but it was served with a smile. It’s a fairly budget experience and one time would’ve been quite a nice hotel, but it’s a bit rundown. The location almost makes up for it but not quite. I honestly leave pure reviews on Booking.com so rarely… but please if you are booking this know that you are booking a budget hotel where everything has got an additional charge.. and customer service isn’t brilliant

I stayed in the rooms part of the main building. Lovely room, well decorated with plenty of space and large bathroom. Nice little balcony with somewhere to read. Beach was peaceful and the resort is right on it. The gardens were very nice. Love all the fish. Staff were helpful and you can rent mopeds from the front desk at a decent price. You'll need them if you want to drop in on the busier parts of the island on the north East.

Because my room was part of the main building which is next to the main road, there was a fair bit of road noise. This quieted down at night, but started up again in the morning. Light sleepers like me need earplugs. But I would stay in the same room again, if I couldn't get one of the bungalows, so not a deal breaker. The gym has a few machines, but you can work with them. The big problem was the AC was broken so I was as limited to only working out at the end of the day with all the windows open.

De mega grote kamers!! Echt top! We hadden een connected room, hierdoor hadden onze kids ook meer privacy en wij ook even wat meer rust haha. Prachtige plek met heerlijk ontbijt aan zee. Heel rustig en lief personeel. Drankjes en lunch/diner bezorgen ze zelfs op je strandbedje. Zonsondergang is hier magisch!!

S avonds is hier geen klap te doen. We hadden scooters en daarmee zijn wij het hele eiland rond geweest. Zoek je ‘s avonds wat meer gezelligheid, dan zul je toch echt op pad moeten.

Die Idee mit den Pools war sehr schön. Man hatte sehr viel Privatsphäre. Frühstück war sehr gut.

La suite avec piscine privée était incroyable et la plage privée avec un magnifique coucher de soleil

Nous avons séjourné dans cette petite villa individuelle avec piscine privée et l’expérience a été très agréable. Le logement est parfaitement adapté aux familles avec enfants, offrant un cadre calme et reposant, idéal pour se détendre loin de l’agitation de l’île (environ 40 minutes). La piscine privée est un vrai plus, permettant de profiter pleinement du séjour en toute tranquillité. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux, varié et conforme aux standards que l’on peut attendre en Thaïlande. Une très bonne adresse pour ceux qui recherchent du calme et du confort.

Seul petit bémol : certaines parties de l’hôtel sont un peu vieillissantes, mais cela ne gâche en rien la qualité globale du séjour.

Lovely staff and beautiful setting. We really enjoyed the private plunge pool to jump into when it got too hot. Sunsets were amazing from the sea front restaurant.

It was slightly out in f the way for some of the places we wanted to get to but we found taxis very easy to get. The bathroom got very hot and air conditioning only just did the job.
