Grand Skylight Hotel Shenzhen Zhonghang Futian Huaqiang North Branch

The staff were absolutely amazing during my stay and are the reason for the high rating. I interacted with several female staff during my stay (Aug 21-23) and each of them were so extremely patient and helpful going ABOVE AND BEYOND on multiple occasions. One of which time was literally helping me with my taobao/luggage fiasco which had absolutely nothing to do with the hotel; but they took the extra time to help me and solve everything for. When we were unsure about the car, one of the check in ladies ran to the back to ensure we wouldn’t have to - the service was amazing and I am so impressed. Would absolutely stay again.

Initially when we entered the room there was a slight smoky smell but I notified the staff and they changed us immediately. The new room had zero smell

We enjoyed staying at the Grand Skylight Hotel. It was a beautiful hotel, the rooms were clean & comfortable and we loved the huge variety of the breakfast.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel but it would be good if there were more towel rails or hooks in the bathroom.

Amazing staff. Very kind and helpful. Very good breakfast.

Rooms smell like smoke.

Location of the hotel very good, the room were nice and clean. There were a good choice for breakfast , but the only issue is the communication problem.

There were no bellboy service , but the personel were very helpful . Communications were not quite easy. But everything went well. Overall we are quite satisfied.

Alles perfekt!! ( sauber und sehr freundliche Personal)

Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Location was convenient.

Faint smoke smells through the AC.

Personale cordiale e gentilissimo, pulizia eccellente, colazione super.

location, good breakfast

long check-in. size of the room ( in the description of our twin room it was 35sqm, but in fact not more than 25, incl bathroom).

Comfy beds, good aircon, free toiletries, hot shower, TV with cable, good view and close to nearby metro station and shopping mall. Friendly staff.

The kettle in the room was malfunctioning, and TV was small

The staff were all super sweet and helpful! The rooms were very spacious and clean. My kids loved the delivery robot but most of all, the kindness of the people! It is also in the perfect location with many things around!

Świetna lokalizacja, blisko metra i kilka kroków do targu z elektroniką.

Dojazd z lotniska to około 45 minut.

Joy gave us excellent service! Breakfast was also good

Joy gave us very good service

Personal molt atent i servicial. Habitacions equipades amb tot allò necessari i neteja molt ben feta. Esmorzar molt complert i bo.

Hem anat a esmorzar una mica tard i ja s'havien acabat algunes coses.

Very supportive staff, nice clean rooms with all necessities, great value for money we spent.

We are a Portuguese family and we were welcomed with incredible kindness by Ms. Nora Chen. Besides her fantastic English, she was incredibly friendly and helpful. She helped us find solutions for everything and was truly committed to making us feel at home. While we loved the hotel, the room, and the overall service, the highlight was undoubtedly the care, attention, and warmth we received. It truly stood out. We highly recommend it!

The staff were super attentive and accommodating, in particular Nora Chen. The room was spacious and comfortable.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel, everything was perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The Mickey-themed room was fantastic, very clean, comfortable, and perfect for families with children. The service was outstanding, with the entire team being attentive, helpful, and always willing to assist. A special mention goes to Nora Chen, who was truly exceptional throughout our stay. She was always smiling, kind, and professional. She took the time to explain everything to us and was especially lovely with our children, even offering them small souvenirs. This kind of attention really makes a difference. The location is also perfect, honestly it’s hard to find better. Overall, a top experience. We highly recommend this hotel.

location, breakfast, parrots in the lobby

I was staying in the hotel not for the first time. usually I have booked the double room, which more than satisfied my demands and even exceeded them. this time ordered the twin room I was sure that the space would be the same like indicated on the booking.com (35 sqm), but in fact the room was not more than 25sqm and what was not so comfortable for 2 people, I have asked to show me other twin rooms but all were similar in size.

Close to metro, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was pretty good.

The bathroom floor was dirty, always had hairs from mop used. Very warm rooms that temperature cannot be adjusted. Dim lighting.

Clean room, very generous room size. Powerful shower and bedding was crisp. Staff very helpful.

Selection of pillows. Amazing breakfast. Top location. Lovely staff

In 24th floor was the noise of elevator. Like the airplane sound.

breakfast

Stanze ampie, pulite e accoglienti, ricca colazione

Hotel staff are very accommodating. Though there's a bit of difficulty communicaring but they were able to provide what we requested.

it would have been perfect if the toilet have bidet but in general, I noticed the Chinese are not used to it.

Metro just around the corner. Room was good, although the robes provided didn't seem fresh. Staff were kind.

Consigliatissimo

Staff very helpful and arranging, especially with a baby.

Aircon not great so a little stuffy we had to sleep with windows opened so a bit noisy.

Brand new facilities , very comfy bed , great breakfast

Taxi brought us to correct hotel but doorman said we need to go to their sister hotel , we had to move , it took other hotel 20 min to say we were in the wrong one and we had to take another taxi , after we finally arrived back , the staff did not even apologize for their mistake . We lost about an hour

Super śniadania, lokalizacja blisko atrakcji i metra. Polecam jak najbardziej

The staff remembered us from the week before. Very nice and friendly. Very attentive and kind. They have got v good knowledge of local sightseeing spots, cost, distance from the hotel. Even seasonal events. If they are not sure, they look up their own phones to search it up for me. I think they can encourage the residents to reuse their towels than changing it daily.

The WiFi is a nightmare as if fighting w the data card. Impossible to get a smooth connection. One of the bed in the twins room wasn't v comfit. Smoke of cigarettes at bedtime. Probably from the upper or lower floor. It's the resident's fault, not the hotel's fault. Noise early morning as residents starting their business day. Door banging and woke me up from 6am. I had passed on my feedback to the hotel as it can easily improve the hinges and avoid the issues.

Everything

location, comfy beds, breakfast, service

Not much

They charged me twice and the toilet was blocked on arrival

I like it much. Surprised to find out there's such a massive shopping mall right next to the hotel !! Staff were excellent and v helpful, from the reception desk to the waiting staff and cleaning staff. V easy to pick up by taxi. Breakfast was nice, adequate, not posh but v nice to have choice of congee and sweet tofu. Staff v attentive. Front desk staff has excellent knowledge of local availability facilities, distance and time to various places, opening hrs and cost of local services. If they don't know, they were v keen to look it up for us.

Room has no bathtub but happy w the shower. Coffee machine seems playing up when the milk runs out. Coffee was too strong for us. Learnt the lesson from the first morning and found a choice of choosing weaker option. The WiFi seems not existing even the staff has been helping me sorting it out for a few times. All good as I have got my own mobile data to us. Pillow too hard and high for me, a bit sore shoulders in the morning.

Okay breakfast, clean room.

The first room smelled strongly of smoke. They changed it the next day. The receptionists cannot speak English.

Breakfast buffet was good, more than enough choices. Hotel is in a good location-central to metros and lots of restaurants and cafes around for food .The bed was large and super comfortable. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Had a lovely weekend break and will be back.

bien place

Good location, clean room, nice staff

Local food smell in hotel, may be its normal for locals. The breakfast selection is mostly Asian. Customers who prefer European food might find it challenging

Location is good, very near metro station Surrounding with a lot of restaurant, walking distance with lawson and 7 eleven. Hotel staff very helpful, check in by 小H, very smooth and quick. 小谢also helpful during our stay.

Our floor with smoke smell. Hotel staff came to spray tried remove smell after we reported the matter.

Geweldig hotel, fijne service.

The hotel is located in an excellent area. There are many shops, restaurants and a big park next to it. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

The elevators were divided into two: ones for higher floors and ones for lower floors. Since there were 19 of us,, we were scattered all over. When I booked, I requested that the 9 rooms be close together. However, some relatives were placed in the lower floors, which made it difficult for them to come visit us in our rooms on the higher floor. Also, I booked a suite so our relatives can gather to chat. However, the bedroom was large but the living room was small, which made no sense.
